I have a theory

I think Annabelle represents all the negative parts. She is a narcissist, because many people in the city are narcissist, she hates other nationalities, because in the city there is a term called Gringo.

That term is offensive, and is used on outsiders only. She also has a killer guitar because in the city there is a lot of gangs and... killers in the dangerous parts... so that is why she has anger management problems and a homicidal weapon with her at all times.
