Chapter 36: Reaching Her Heart and Zombie Falls

Cherry Branch was a bit worried. Durring the time she has become a very close frend and maybe more. He wasn't sure.

It didn't help that Angel was clearly shipping them…

Or at least great approved, it's hard to tell with the bunny.

But still… he had to try.

"Please Fluttershy I don't want to fight you!" said Cherry.

That was when Fluttershy punched him.

"Well too bad! I want to fight you!" she mocked.

"Please don't! This isn't you! You can fight it!" said Cherry.

"So I guess you're an it! Funny!" laughed Fluttershy.

She once again punched him.

Angel said something to him.

"Look I don't want to hurt her!" said Cherry.

He said something else.

"What…" said Cherry unsure how to respond to that.

He said something else and began to making somewhat violent motions.

"You know I'm not surprised you would do that." Said Cherry Branch with his eye twitching.

Angel took out two carrots that were tied together like nunchuks.

"I really shouldn't be surprised any more… should I…" said Cherry Branch.

Angel shook his head no.

Cherry Branch just sighed at what was what his sidekick during the fight.

"Oh look at the cute little bunny! Do you really think that bringing a cute little bunny would stop me?" asked Fluttershy.

"He came on his own… and that's Angel… did you really forget about Angel?" asked Cherry Branch.

Angel glared at Fluttershy giving a look that said "She didn't forget about me."

Fluttershy rolled her eyes, "Of course I remember that bunny." Said Fluttershy.

That was when Angel kicked her in the face followed by whacking her in the head with his carrot nunchuks.

"That hurt!" yelled Fluttershy glaring at them.

Angel said something.

"Yeah…" said Cherry Branch.

"You know it will be much more fun to toy around with your before I finish you off." Said Fluttershy.

Angel face pawed.

"This is bad." Said Cherry Branch.

Angel said something to him and Cherry Branch sighed.

Not too far away Usopp was aiming ammo at the wings of flying zombies.

"What are there zombies made of?" asked Usopp.

"Well I know dragon parts, which is why theory fire proof." Said Bombs Away who was nearby.

That was when they heard a crash.

"You handle it!" said Bombs Away.

'What why?" asked Usopp.

"Unicorns are better handle it." Said Bombs Away.

"I barely know how to use magic!" yelled Usopp.

"Look I'm just the bomb guy…" said Bombs Away, "You're much versatile to handle things."

Usopp sighed, "Fine…" he muttered.

"Good luck!" said Bombs Away, "It's times like this that I wish I had thumbs…"

This just made Usopp sigh even more.

Usopp ran towards where the crash came from.

That was when he saw Cherry Branch land hard on the ground.

Usopp eyes widened as he realized who that pony was.

He watched as Fluttershy spun Angel by the ears and then tossed him onto Cherry Branch.

"Oh you still think you can reach me… there's not to reach." Said Fluttershy mockingly.

"Please! This isn't you!" said Cherry Branch realizing he was out of options, so he decided to try to reach to the real her again.

"Oh how cute." Said Fluttershy.

"Smoke Star!" called out a voice.

The smoke bomb hit covering the area, Usopp managed to swoop in and grab Cherry Branch.

Thankfully during the time Angel managed to grab onto Cherry Branch.

Fluttershy coughed at everything cleared.

"So taking the cowards way out." Said Fluttershy.

Meanwhile Cherry Branch got his bearings.

He saw the one that rescued him, he was surprised who it was.

"Usopp?" he asked in shock.

"Yeah, the princess brought me back to life as a pony for a bit." Said Usopp.

"So that's what that bright light was." Said Cherry Branch.

"So what's going on?" asked Usopp.

Before Cherry Branch could answer Angel kicked him.

"Angel!" said Cherry Branch.

Angel pointed to Usopp and said something.

"We can trust him." said Cherry Branch, "He's one of the Straw Hats?"

Angel said something with a shrug.

"You haven't been paying attention have you?" asked Cherry Branch.

Angel once again shrugged.

Cherry Branch just sighed.

"The Straw Hats was my pirate crew in my past life… same with Pinkie and Twilight?" asked Chopper.

"Wait… why is there a bunny?" asked Usopp.

"Oh that's Angel…" said Chopper.

"Oh… that jerk bunny." said Usopp, "Spike told me about him."

Angel began to attack Usopp.

"You know it's only proving Spike right when you attack someone for calling you a jerk." Said Cherry Branch.

Angel said something.

"Well it's pretty obvious." Said Cherry Branch.

Angel pointed at Usopp and said something.

"He was practically my best friend in my past life! Of course he knows I can talk to animals." Said Cherry Branch.

"Um…" said Usopp, "I kind of need to what's going on…"

"The pony you saw is Fluttershy." Said Cherry Branch who started blushing, "She's after me because we're close…"

"Wait… you two are…" said Usopp.

"No we're not!" said Cherry Branch blushing even more.

Angel began to perform some charades for Usopp. Usopp was able to pick up that the two liked each other but was too shy to say anything.

"It will be fine." Said Usopp.

That was when they heard a noise.

"So you have a new friend." Said Fluttershy making her presence known, "Cute!"

"Please Fluttershy." Said Cherry Branch.

"Please, please, please." Mocked Fluttershy, "IF it hasn't worked yet."

That was when Angel got an idea. A brilliant idea that was sure to work.

He told Cherry Branch that he had idea.

"What the idea." Said Cherry Branch.

He told him.

"What do you mean just get close to her?" asked Cherry Branch.

Angel shrugged.

"That's a stupid plan." said Fluttershy.

"Wait… can you understand him too?" asked Usopp staring at Fluttershy.

Angel waved his paw giving the "More or less" sign.

"Pathetic." Said Fluttershy.

Angel sighed knowing that Cherry Branch wouldn't do the plan.

So he pointed at Usopp and said something.

"Fine! I'll do it!" said Cherry Branch.

"Don't do it." Said Fluttershy, "I want to see what he does."

"Did the bunny just threaten me?" asked Usopp.

"Uh…" said Cherry.

"Yes." Said Fluttershy.

Angel just stared at Usopp and moved a carrot across his neck.

"I'm already dead… so death threats won't work." Pointed out Usopp/.

Angel said something.

"He wasn't threating you with death." Said Fluttershy, "He was just threatening to beat you up badly."

"Oh…" said Usopp.

That was when Fluttershy flew towards him and punched him, it was clear he was in pain.

"Looks like you can feel pain." Said Fluttershy.

Cherry Branch knew he had to go through the plan to get close to Fluttershy.

"Stop this now!" said Cherry Branch.

"You know what." Said Fluttershy with a cruel smirk, "Let's see what the bunny's plan it."

She proceeded to tackle him. She stood over Cherry Branch.

"As fun it is to see him get beat up by a bunny! I want to prove that whatever his plan is it won't…" taunted Fluttershy who was cut off.

However Angel jumped on her head forcing her head down on him in such a way the two were kissing.

The two were shocked by this.

However in Fluttershy mind she could feel the real self-starting to break through as her heart pounded in her chest.

Her color slowly returned to normal as she closed her eyes.

Cherry Branch also closed his eyes after the shock.

Once they were done with the kiss both of them realized what they had done and started blushing profusely.

Angel cheered at this…

"Angel…" whispered Fluttershy covering her face.

Angel said something.

"Yeah it did work…" said Cherry Branch.

Both Cherry Branch and Fluttershy looked at each other then looked away and blushed.

"Um… should we get to safety?" asked Usopp.

"You're right… we don't know if someone will re-kidnap Fluttershy. " said Cherry Branch adjusting his hat.

Fluttershy nodded and they all decided to run as fast they could as they headed to the palace.

"Oh I'm Usopp y the way." Said Usopp, "Princess Luna temporally revived me as a pony to help you guys."

Fluttershy nodded as they ran towards the palace.

Meanwhile Shadow Streak was flying around. That was when he came across something. He saw Gold Brick facing off again a pony he didn't recognize.

That was when the pony suddenly two extra heads and four extra forelegs and brought down Gold Brick easily.

Shadow Streak's jaw dropped when he saw that.

Then he also realized something… that was Zoro.

"How./.." he though, "The bright light of course."

He created a doppleman to get away hoping the two wouldn't see him.

He breathed a sigh of relief that they didn't notice him.

"Great Gold Brick is out." He muttered.

That was when he saw somepony else.

He looked at and saw Vivi and Smoothiesip who was helping him walk.

"Your name is Smoothiesip Funkypants?" asked Vivi.

"I know…" sighed Smooethiesip, "Even for this world it's a weird name…"

"It's fine…" said Vivi.

Shadow Streak knew while he probably win again the two of them it probably not a good idea to fight anyone.

So he decided to hide elsewhere.

That was when he found Garp and Warring Skies tying up Sandy.

"Hey will this work?" asked Garp.

"You only just realized it?" asked Warring Skies.

"Yeah…" said Garp.

"Seriously." Muttered Shadow Streak, "And she's down too."

HE flew away hoping they didn't see anything.

HE flew elsewhere and saw Rarity, Fleur and Sanji.

"You have got to be kidding me!" he yelled out.

"Did you hear something?" asked Rarity.

They looked to see, but nothing was there.

"Must be your imagination." said Fleur with a shrug.

"Come on let's go." Said Sanji.

Shadow Streak was hiding in the shadows and was sweating profusely.

"Okay… do I suddenly have bad luck all of a sudden?" he asked.

Of course no one answered him.

He flew elsewhere and found Applejack with Boulder Crash.

"I wonder who they brought in." said Boulder Crash.

"Probably the Straw Hats." Said Applejack.

"You got a point… wouldn't surprise me at all." Said Boulder Crash.

"that explain so much…" thought Shadow Streak, "I have to see who else is down…"

He began to fly around to check if anyone else was defeated, after all he knew about Gold Brick and Sandy.

"Those tow are the only ones defeated right." He said to himself.

He looked around, he had found Aurora unconscious as well as Full Plate.

He wasn't surprised about those two since they were among the weakest members.

As he searched he also saw Franky giant robot fighting the zombies.

"What am I looking at… "he muttered to himself, "You know what… don't get distracted by the giant robot…"

HE flew away trying find others while dodging anyone from the Fruit Brigade's side. He has also found Steel unconscious as well as Lace and Hollow Air.

However the next thing he saw made him go completely pale.

It was Cherry, Branch, Fluttershy, Usopp and Angel. All of them (expect for Angel who was riding Fluttershy) were running towards the palace just in case someone tried to re-kidnap her.

HE also saw that she was back to normal.

"No… it can't be…" said Shadow Streak.

"You're already losing." Said Perona.

He jumped at the human ghost then looked at her.

"Wait… Perona?" asked Shadow Streak in shock.

"Long time no." said Perona.

"Have you come to help…" said Shadow Streak.

"Not you." Said Perona, "You know later in life I was allies with the Straw Hats…"

And he heard her mumble something he couldn't understand, he could have sworn he heard something about a debt, but deicide to brush it off.

"How?" asked Shadow Streak.

"How what?" asked Perona.

"How are you like that?" asked Perona.

"If you ate a Devil Fruit involing ghosts, souls or the after life you're spared from the Devil Fruit afterlife." Said Perona.

"Oh… I see." Said Shadow Streak.

"My spirit takes the form of my human self" said Perona with a shrug.

"I see…" said Shadow Streak, "Why are you here?"

"I wanted to talk to you." Said Perona.

"Seriously?" asked Shadow Streak.

"What the point of this?" asked Perona.

"What?" asked Shadow Streak.

"You're trying to take over a country for some stupid reason." Said Perona.

"It's not stupid!" said Shadow Streak.

"It's not?" asked Perona.

"This world isn't right!" said Shadow Streak.

"What it's too peaceful?" asked Perona, "I happen to like this world."

"That's because it's the cutest thing possible! Almost everything is cute here!" said Shadow Streak.

Perona pouted, "Okay you do have a point at like I like it…" muttered Perona.

"Look… there is something wrong with the world." Said Shadow Streak.

"All it sounds like you can't handle the peace." Sai Perona, "Or maybe it's something else…"

Shadow Streak looked at her.

"It's shame…" said Perona.

"What is?" asked Shadow Streak.

"That you're so focused on this that you're not paying attention to anything else." Said Perona.

"What?" asked Shadow Streak.

That was when somepony approached him from behind and knocked it him out.

Turned out it was Spring Breeze, with one of Perona's ghosts next to her.

"Thanks for the heads up." Said Spring Breeze.

"Whatever." Muttered Persona.

She looked at the knocked out Shadow Streak and sighed.

"Sorry about it…" said Spring Breeze.

"It's fine… I stopped looking up to Moria a long time ago." Said Perona.

"I guess you could say... He was" Said Pinkie suddenly showing up and putting on sunglasses, "A shadow of his former self!"

She then disappeared as soon as she appeared.

"What the…" muttered Perona.

"Don't ask… because I don't even know myself." Said Spring Breeze.

All over town the Zombies dropped dead as the shadows controlling them all went back to their bodies.

Though out the towns cheers rained through out.

Most of the conscious members of the Devil Alliance gave up… however… three didn't…

Glacier looked around town.

However a bolt of lighting hit him.

"What the… "said Glacier.

"Are you willing to fight?" asked Thunder Cloud making his presence known.

Glacier gritted his teeth. Realizing that the pony wasn't going down that easy.

Meanwhile Twilight looked at Firestone.

"Look around the zombies are dead." Said Twilight.

"I don't care." Said Firestone, "It doesn't matter if he failed… the plan will succeed… as long as I kill you."

Twilight began to sweat as Spike comforted her.

Meanwhile Darkness Horizon stared at Pinkie as she shook a thing for boggle.

"What…" said Darkness Horizon, "You just disappeared for a second then reappeared."

"Oh there was a joke I had to make." Said Pinkie with a shrug.

"I'm going to pretend that makes sense…" mumbled Darkness Horizon.

Back in the skies, Glacier looked at Thunder Cloud knowing they were have to fight it out. And that this was going to be a very tough one… especially since it was two different Logia involved.

Next Time: Glacier and Thunder Cloud battle it out. Will Glacier find out why a seemingly nice pony would want to take over Equestria or will Thunder Cloud' inherited god complex win though? Find out next time!
