Chapter 37
ONE HOUR LATER AFTER PAIN WAS DEFEATED
Naruto is currently walking through the woods slowly from being stabbed by multiple rods of Nagato's. Naruto starts to fall but before he could hit the ground Zero caught him.
"You've done splendid", Zero said which Naruto smiles.
"Lord Hokage...", Naruto said which Zero looks at him with a smile.
"Stay still, I'll carry you since your body is still a little weak from Nagato's chakra", Zero said as he begins walking through the village slowly while Zero glances at Naruto.
"Even now, his words can change people...", Zero thought as he then turns as they finally arrive back at the village they find the citizens there waiting for them which Zero laughs a little as he lets Naruto down. The people are cheering for the two as well as the ninja.
"They've been waiting for us...", Zero said as he puts a hand on Naruto's shoulder.
"Even I couldn't predict this happening. Guy brought the villagers abs ninja back by convincing Nagato...", Zero thought while the ninja run to them.
"What's this?", Naruto said confused.
"I've already relaid every detail that has transpired between you and pain", Katauyu said on Naruto's shoulder.
"Lord Hokage your amazing!", one kid said as he's being congratulated by them while the other kids are asking Naruto questions. Soon Sakura walks towards Naruto gaining Zero's attention.
"Hey you guys cut it out would ya?", Naruto asked as the kids are tugging on his clothes.
"Huh, hey Sakura", Naruto says noticing her.
"Your just so reckless, you idiot!", Sakura yelled punching him in the head causing him to bend down but suddenly Sakura hugs him while Zero is wide eyed but smiles at this.
"Thank you...", Sakura said which Zero gives and small chuckle at this but stops as he looks to see Kakashi next to Guy and sighs as he walks towards Kakashi gaining his attention.
"Lord h-", Kakashi was stopped by Zero said two words.
"I'm sorry...", Zero said those words causing Kakashi's eyes to widen in complete shock.
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have blamed you for what I did... I just hated myself for not being able to save my brother when I had the chance to go on the mission but turned it down, I thought he could handle it but he died... I just blamed you since I couldn't except the fact that he died because of me", Zero said looking away by under the mask Kakashi smiles and he moves his hand up.
"It's ok, I heard your talk with Asuma... I never hated you...", Kakashi said causing Zero's eyes to widen in complete shock as they fist bump. After that an anbu captain appears behind Zero.
"What?", Zero asked as he turns to the anbu.
"An emergency council has been called. As Hokage your presence is required at the palace Lord Hokage", he says which Zero sighs and nods.
MEETING
Zero, the three elders, anbu captain, shikaku, Fire Daimyō, and his delegation. Homaru is the first to
speak.
"We intend to continue pursing the Akatsuki with assistance from our allies", Homaru said.
"We of the land of fire shall provide our full support in rebuilding the damage caused by the Akatsuki. First, we'll raise funds... Then assess the strain with other lands...", One of the Fire Daimyō's men said.
"Pakura is currently escorting Raikage's messengers here to give me a message and if I'm right its a Gokage summit. So I must go now and see how Tsunade is doing", Zero sad standing up suddenly.
"We'll meet again Fire Daimyō", Zero said as he suddenly swirls away surprising him and the delegation while the Daimyō is surprised he just left when he only arrived for a few minutes.
VILLAGE
Zero reappears in front of the tent surprising both Omoi and Karui who are standing in front of the tent.
"Excuse me", Zero said which both stabs aside knowing who he is as he enters seeing Pakura, Samui, and Shizune talking next to a comatose Tsunade.
"I would like the letter read and a response generated right away! The Raikage is in a rush", Samui said and both notice Zero.
"What's the letter?", Zero said causing Shizune to :blink in surprise as Zero takes the letter them reads it which his eyes widen in complete which while two anbu are behind him.
"Sasuke... What have you done...?", Zero said as he grits his teeth.
"And... Your response, sir?", Samui asked while Zero sighs as he closes his eyes then turns away.
"Sasuke is... A rouge ninja, I permit... His disposal.", Zero said which Samui nods while Pakura looks sadly at Zero knowing he cared for Sasuke since he knew him when he came and visits after a mission with Shisui and Itachi.
"As you wish lord Hokage and there is also the gokage mee-", Samui was cut off by Zero.
"I'll go, I have a thing or two too say to the Raikage", Zero said as he turns away while his eyes narrow.
"Anbu, I request Danzo and Shikaku's presences as my escorts to the summit", Zero said surprising them.
"As you wish my lord", one said as they both disappear.
"Zero are you sure Danzo should come with you-", Shizune was cut off by Zero.
"If he tries one thing during the meeting, I have the right to slaughter him so I'll be allowing him to come with me of it goes me the chance to kill him", Zero said causing Shizune to blink in surprise at this.
"I'll be getting ready to leave now", Zero said as he leaves while Samui starts thinking what the Rakiage will do I push comes to shove the meeting will be a battle ground.
1 HOUR LATER OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE
Zero is currently walking with his hokage hat on next to Danzo who glances at Zero while Shikaku looks around as his eyes narrow.
"Lord Hokage...", Shikaku said as Zero nods as he walks ahead and whistles. Suddenly out of the bushes come out anbu black ops? They aren't wearing normal masks, there wearing "Hannya" masks while there wearing anbu flack jackets which are black while there concealed by black cloaks with the Uchiha symbol on the back?
Danzo's eyes widen as he sees the masks there wearing.
"You see Danzo, I found out what you did and heard how the Prajñā anbu of the "land of woods" were called traitors after what your men did. There's more of them but there currently hiding within the village ready to kill you root ninja. There all very pissed at you for what you did and they serve me and me only", Zero said with a smile while Danzo's eyes narrow at this. The leader in the front is wearing a black mask with no face whatsoever just a clear mask with no opening?
"You can remove your mask, Dosu", Zero said as Dosu removed it showing his entire face bandaged from what Gaara did.
"You see, my black ops flung this guy dieing on a rooftop before the sound and sand ninja invasion. He's told me a lot as well as I took him under my wing.
"Dosu Kinuta", Zero said with a smile as Dosu is still bowing while he's staring two black melody arms as well as there's two seeable holes in his palms of his hands.
"He's the best of them and my anbu captain", Zero said which Dosu puts his mask on and him as well as the group disperses.
"Lets keep going, in sure they cleared the path for any bandits", Zero said as he begins walking again.
