A/N: THink I need to ramp this up a bit ;)
Emma needed to see Henry. When she returned, the dream catcher was gone. She had to calm her breathing before she called a deadly storm on all of them. She didn't need them to think she wanted to cause them harm, well anymore then she already had…
She knocked at Regina's door, for a third time now, yelling out into the night.
"Regina! I know you're home I can see the lights are on!"
She huffed and wasn't ready to stumble with Regina yanking the door open.
"Miss Swan! Keep your voice down." She growled menacingly as she folded her arms across her chest, eyes staring back with disdain.
Emma straightened, "Regina we have been through to much…"
Regina scoffed and took a step forward out of her home.
"Start acting like Emma again and we can talk about it."
Emma squared her shoulders.
"I want to see my son." She kept her eyes locked on Regina's in challenge.
Regina flipped her hair out of her eyes, shaking her head.
"Well he doesn't want to see you." Then with a flash of anger, "Leave Emma."
Emma opened her mouth to protest when Regina cut her off.
"I expected better of you. Taking a young girls heart and breaking Henry's? Who are you?"
Emma shattered a pot near the step with her unchecked anger, Regina didn't even flinch.
Heavy breathing to try and help her through the situation.
"I had to…"
Regina laughed, "Please Emma, we all have choices." That condescending look. That was the look of the mayor, the one Emma met when she came to Storybrook.
Her blood started to boil, Regina had no idea what happened.
"Regina, you don't know what you are talking about."
Regina moved dangerously into her face.
"NO. I do know, because I saw what you did and that wasn't fair to that little boy up there that you claim to actually love."
Emma's Magic rippled causing Regina to fall back against the wall in support.
"What's not fair is you using the dagger against me! What's not fair is you promising to save me when you never intended to! Or swearing you had feelings for me when you…" she stopped herself quickly closing her eyes and biting her tongue tasting blood.
Regina pushed away from the wall, standing tall.
"Emma…" She wasn't so harsh anymore.
"No! You chose him! You could have protected me but you chose him." Covering her mouth and stepping back.
Regina reaching her hand out but then all that was left was black mist.
….
Regina walked back inside and poured herself a drink. So she had hurt Emma, and the woman had fallen into darkness despite all of her efforts, because of her. After all her attempts to keep Emma safe, she had failed. The only people the blond had ever trusted had failed her, and none as badly as the brunette.
She threw back her drink wishing she could take it all back, from the first moment they kissed.
…
Emma sat in her house and cried. Her son hated her, Regina hated her, and Hook would hate her as well. She needed to save them.
