IT was over an 18 hour drive to Timmins and Kyla was nervous, Paul and Embery ran ahead to see if the road was safe and Seth and Leah tailed the car in case there were some unexpected followers. Jake of course refused to take his eyes off Kyla so he drove the car with Jamie in the back he was a new member to the pack, there had been a lot of new commers while Kyla was gone but the rest stayed behind with Sam to protect the reserve.

"You doing ok?" Jake asked taking his eyes off the road to look at Kyla.

"I'd be even better if you'd stop taking your eyes off the road." Kyla panicked holding onto the cars door handle.

Jake and Jamie chuckled at Kyla but Jake turned his eyes back to the road not wanting to stress Kyla out more then she already was. Jake could feel the waves of panic rolling off her body.

"I feel like whatever Genevieve says, it's just going to change everything. I've just gotten back i don't want things to start changing again, I wish i would have just listened to you instead of Liam." Kyla muttered picking the navy blue nail polish from her fingers.

"Yeah me too." Jake said under his breath not saying anything more.

it wasn't until another few hours into the car ride Kyla started to not feel right.

"can you pull over please." Kyla said breathing out slowly. "I really need you to pull over right now."

Kyla was panicked diving from the car the second Jake pulled over, Kyla dropped to her knees holding her head in both hands.

"Kyla what's wrong."

Kyla felt Jake's body head as he leaned over her trying to provide her with comfort, Jamie trailed back a little to give Jake and Kyla their space.

"It hurts." Kyla took a couple sharp breaths in before letting them out slowly. "Can you give me some space please, i just need my space."

Kyla gasped for breath trying to work through the brain burning pain she was feeling. Jake took a scooch back but refused to move much farther.

"what's wrong with her." Leah asked her and Seth running up to them.

"If i knew i wouldn't be standing here like a dumb ass!" Jake yelled stressed out totally unsure of what he should do.

"She doesn't look so good." Seth said noticing the sudden paleness of Kyla's cheeks.

Jake shot Seth a silencing look.

"I need help." Kyla's voice was weaker as she sat up reaching a hand out for jake.

"Maybe you should stay sitting for a while." Jake said taking her hand.

Kyla just shook her head slowly getting up.

"Lets keep going."

"Kyla-" Jake's voice was soft but Kyla shook her head making him stop.

" . .Moving."

"She's right it's no good sitting here while Kyla's in pain, we could at least be moving in the right direction." Jamie said taking Kyla's other arm as they walked back to the car.

Genevieve's driveway was long and surrounded by woods when the car finally pulled up in front of the old house that looked more like a cottage then anything else a women was already waiting on the door step, she had long wavy raven black hair and wore a long flow dress she didn't look older then 30. The women came running towards the car a worried expression on her face.

"I almost thought you wouldn't get here in time." Gen said opening the back door of the car slapping Jake's hand out of the way.

"ahhhh!" Kyla screamed out in pain.

"What are you waiting for we don't have much time left, bring her inside quickly." Gen rushed leading the way.

Gen lead the boys to a table that had a nurse blue blanked thrown over it where they could put Kyla down. Gen slid her fingers slowly across Kyla's forehead then over her closed eyes until she made it to her throat.

Kyla's scream's turned into quite whimpers into silence as her body became limp on the table.

"Kyla? what the hell did you do to her!" Jake said walking up to Gen chest heaving.

"Calm down wolf, I've merely stopped her suffering." Gen said walking out of the room.

There was some noise from the other room like glasses clanking together before Gen entered the room carrying a glowing blue liquid. Gen started heading for the table but Jake stepped in her way.

"Do you want me to save your love or not?" Gen raised her eyebrows waiting for Jake to slide aside before muttering. "thank you."

"what's wrong with her?" Jake asked.

"Everything's better now." Gen smiled opening Kyla's eye lids and dropping a few drops of the liquid onto both her eyes.

Jake looked over at Jamie but he shrugged both of them not having a single clue.

"She'll wake in a few minutes then, we can talk." Gen said walking out the screen door that led to some sort of deck.

Jake bent down at the tables side attaching his lips to Kyla's forehead whispering. "I'll be right here."
