Chapter 35
~ With Kagura ~
Kagura had been following Sesshomaru everywhere and quickly found that he always had the child with him they were almost never apart. There seemed to be only a few exceptions one would be when he went to train and the other when he went to the strip club late at night.
One of the days she followed them into a park and wound up getting arrested for suspicious activity and behavior. After they ran her prints and found no record they asked why she was sneaking around the park by hiding behind the bushes and trees. She explained she had seen an attractive man and had been trying to work up the courage to talk to him. The eventually let her go advising her that a park wasn't the place to work up the courage to speak to a man of interest. That acting as she did would frighten the children and made the parents uncomfortable in the park.
She had followed them to a pool and managed to enjoy seeing Sesshomaru in his swim trunks and the water rolling down his chest. She loved the view the man was well-built however the little girl who was with him managed to splash her when she did a cannonball, of course, she apologized for drenching her but she could swear the look on the girls face indicated that the act had been done on purpose. After Sesshomaru left the pool she started planning her wardrobe for the upcoming dinner in a few days.
On the day of the dinner date with the Tashio family, she had spent several hours getting ready between her bath, clothes, accessories, hair and make-up she worried about being late. When she finally arrived at the restaurant nothing was out-of-place and she had turned a few heads on the way in. It was flattering knowing men found her attractive but she really wanted Sesshomaru on her arm she wanted to be the envy of every woman. She made her way to the table and greeted disappointed when the little girl was there as well. She put on a fake smile saying, "I am Kagura and I wanted to apologize to the Tashio family for my behavior. I had just wanted Sesshomaru to notice me so much I went about it the wrong way to get attention. I don't believe I know everyone here so if someone would introduce everyone to me."
Toga smiled saying, "I am Toga this lovely lady next to me is Kagome. Next to her are my now teenaged son InuYasha and his date Ayame they are attending school together. You know Sesshomaru and next to him is little Naomi. Now as far as I am concerned this dinner and that apology is enough to make amends for the trouble you caused me. I am unsure if Sesshomaru will consider this enough as he was the most affected."
She sat in the empty chair next to Sesshomaru before looking at him saying, "I am going out-of-town for a while and I have a cottage in a rural area if you'd like you and your family could stay for a week." She looked at him hopefully part of her plan resting on fooling them into staying there.
Sesshomaru looked at her carefully she seemed genuine but to make sure he replied, "I will have my sire make the arrangements with you not only will he be coming but so will my intended mate." He was satisfied when he caught disappointment in her eyes but she nodded none the less.
The rest of the dinner went off without an issue as they continued to have the polite conversation. Toga and Kagura had managed to arrange a date for them to use her home. She even took a picture of the family for them using Toga's phone. She sent a copy of the photo to her own phone deleting the sent information so that Toga would be none the wiser. She'd just have to carefully cut Sesshomaru out of the photo so she could use Naraku's final spell. He had given her a lust perfume for selling her business to him early but Sesshomaru had to be close for it to work. She knew she wouldn't fail this time.
Her property was far enough away that it had come with a servant's cottage. She could stay there while the Toshio family was staying in the main house. It was previously owned by demons so the smaller cottage was far enough away to not be able to scent her. This would work wonderfully she'd have time to set up the place she'd be staying in to be very romantic and no one from the house would be able to scent Sesshomaru leaving him at her mercy once he was under her spell. The only issue would be if he brought that blasted kid with him and he was never alone. She'd have to make sure he was alone even if for only a few moments once she lured him away she'd be set. She'd have to figure a lure for the child between now and the day they arrived. She would have to pack some things and perhaps do some shopping as well. She wanted lots of romantic items to fill the second building on her property. Perhaps she'd pick up some demon chains too just in case the spell started wearing off she had to keep him for three days to make sure pregnancy and possible mating. She doubted he'd totally lose all control and mate her but she still hoped. However, a pregnancy would work in her favor he would never turn his back on his pup no matter what method was used to conceive it. All she really needed to do was to reach his base instinct side and keep it in control until after they had rutted preferably a few times. Even if he came to his senses and fled she'd be satisfied with the one romantic encounter.
