Summary: this is what think could happen after Steve finds out she joined up with the CIA

Danny shook his head, "And you think maybe that has something to do with the problems having here?"

"I don't know right now."

"What going to do? Not like the CIA is going to tell you anything."

He pulled out his phone, "I know someone that may be able to help."

Danny was laughing, "Of course you do have friends in the CIA."

"Kind of, friend is married to an agent."

A few hours later, Steve was waiting at an airport when a private plane landed and off walked G Callen, Nell Jones and Sam Hanna. All of them shook hands and didn't talk until they got back to the palace and standing inside his office, "So want to tell us what's going on?" Sam asked his friend.

He explained what had found out so far, "So where does that leave us?" Callen asked a little confused.

Nell pulled out her laptop, "Other words you need a way into their system quietly?"

"Think can make that happen?" Steve asked her.

She was smiling, "May take a while but can happen."

Danny walked in from getting lunch with Lou, "Whose he got in there now?"

"That's some people from the NCIS office in Los Angeles."

"But why are they here? I didn't know they had an office there."

"More of off the books kind of cases that they take. Steve was in the Seals with one of them."

Steve walked out, "Brought in reinforcements?"

"Not really just some more help."

Danny followed him to his office ignoring the others, "Something that not telling any of us."

JJ walked in answering, "She was the lead intelligence officer on that OP so made sense to bring her in. What no one knew was Reyes was working on finding out who was behind almost getting him killed the last time. Now intel shows he has been out for revenge since in the blast two of his brothers were confirmed killed."

"So where does that lead us now?"

JJ answered again, "For you guys nowhere."

Danny crossed his arms, "If he goes out there no way leaving me here."

Sam stepped in, "Danny this isn't-"

"You should know by now that things like this get messy and he tends to get over his head-"

Steve stopped him, "Thanks for the confidence but Danny no."

"Rambo, no way in hell you are going in there alone look at your track record this things like this."

Nell interrupted them, "I have found a location on where they were last spotted."

Callen looked at the screen, "I know the area but what now?"

"Hetty already said she's calling in a favor or two so can get in there and finish things."

Danny crossed his arms, "So I am in."

Chin waited until Danny left the office and followed him to his, "So your going with right?"

Danny was packing up, "No way in hell letting him go alone."

"Just remember to bring them both back in one piece."

They both laughed, "We got Hetty on standby, plus load of Seals what could go wrong?"

Around two in the morning, Steve and Danny arrived at Pearl where a team of four navy seals were waiting along Callen, Sam, Kensi and Deeks, Nell came in and passed everyone around a satellite phone. After checking that they had everything they all loaded into the C130 and Danny asked Nell sitting next to him, "We know anything more about what doing?"

She pat his knee, "Just assisting them with capturing the man dead or alive."

"Sounds simple enough."

"How come came along with him?" Deeks asked.

"I just like the idea of him going lone wolf on me and usually ends badly."

Kensi was laughing, "Sounds like when Callen use to do same thing."

"Thought would have brought more people."

Deeks shrugged, "Hetty said trying to do this quietly and they already have ton of people there already."

Danny looked over to where his partner was standing, "Never can have enough people."

"This is what their trained for and we will get the man this time."

Was another long flight ahead of them and of course everyone but Steve and Callen slept the whole way there. JJ was the first one off the plane barking out orders to his team making sure everything was where it needed to be ready for them to get out of there quick. Sam coordinated with the pilots that would stand by in the area ready for them to make a quick exit if needed. Rest of them loaded up their packs with everything that needed along with extra ammunition and gear.

Danny found his partner, "Ready for this Rambo?"

Steve rolled his eyes at him, "Should be asking you that."

"Trudging through another country with bunch of Navy Seals and spies, what's new?"

Deeks laughed, "Knew liked you for some reason."

"Yeah, both way out of our element but crazy to follow our partners anywhere?"

Was another few hours later, that found the small group falling the GPS that was leading them to where the last coordinates of CIA had placed the group of people Catherine was with just four days before. Once there all they could find was a campsite littered that looked like was torn apart and ammunition casings everywhere.

Kensi looked at some, "AK47 this isn't good."

Sam nodded, "Something happened here and recently."

JJ sighed as looked around, "What the hell happened here Nell?"

Nell came over their comms since she stayed back, "I have found no reports to anyone."

Deeks spotted some footprints, "Here these might lead us somewhere."

They followed the prints for several miles and finally stopped at what looked like a compound and all could see heavily guard.

"SHIT!" Deeks and Danny said at same time.

"Find us some way in," Steve told the Seal team while him and Danny went to search around.

Danny stopped him, "What now?"

"We do what do best and that's find a way in there."

Danny gestured around him, "Into somewhere more protected than Fort Knox?"

"That's why we have some of the best here to get us in there."

"And wonder why came with you so don't go doing something stupid."

Everyone was heard laughing over comm, "You know love me for it."

"BITE ME McGARRETT!"

"Save that for ride home," Sam interrupted them. "Don't make me separate you two."

A few hours later, Nell joined them a while after they started staking out the place bringing along a few more tablets but was pacing around the small area that they had set up. Sam was worried for his friend who had wondered off on his own sometime ago with JJ leaving rest of them behind including Danny, "I am going to kill him when get back."

Sam watched him pace, "Will you settle down?"

"I know he went out searching for way in there and probably did already without backup."

Deeks asked, "Think would do that?"

"YES!" Sam and Danny said at once.

"He likes to go in lone wolf without backup in this kind of situations."

"Sounds a lot like G."

Nell stopped pacing, "I got us in the camera feed."

"Is there anything you can't do?"

She shrugged, "Break the internet that's Eric."

"REALLY?"

"Yep, did it twice."

Danny sighed, "Of course he did."

JJ and Steve walked back over, "Looks like found a way in there."

"But how do it without getting caught?"

Steve answered, "Run the video feed on a loop long enough for us to get in there and they wont know a thing."

Nell nodded, "I can do that but will take time that not sure have."

It took another hour for them to get all of the feed that they needed to get pieced together along with several explosive charges set up so could be placed around where needed. They decided that once inside they would split into two groups with Steve leading the group of Seals and Sam leading the NCIS plus JJ. Nell had gone to camp out in one of the tall trees so she could be out of sight of people but still see. She started the feed and they all quietly headed inside and split up. After slowly clearing two buildings taking out about ten guards each they arrived at the largest of them all and grouped together.

Steve counted down each team taking a door, "4...3...2...1...Go."

They each headed inside and soon a firefight started but Deeks and Kensi easily coming upon two Seals that were tied up and undid the ropes handing them each a handgun. Danny made sure to keep an eye out around him while watching out for where his partner was headed. He spotted a door on the far end of the building, "What's that door?"

JJ headed over there with him as one man stepped out with gun to a woman head, "Don't move or she dies."

A few moments passed as Danny nodded at Catherine, "Reyes, I assume?"

"Seems that took the CIA this long to find me and what they send?" he shouted. "Some armatures to take me down?"

JJ walked over pointed rifle at his head, "Who ever said that?"

"Commander Hendrix, after our last encounter thought you would have given up on me was sure Lieutenant here did? After all she retired."

He shrugged, "And here we thought you had died so guess all disappointed."

Catherine spotted something in the distance a moment before she elbowed him in the stomach and he released his hold on her throat and she dropped to the ground before a shot is heard the Reyes hits the ground with a bullet to middle of his forehead.

Danny caught her before she fell and hit the ground and Steve rushed over, "Thought never would get here."

He just shook his head, "Timing never was my thing."

The next day found everyone sitting around Five-0 headquarters at three in the morning, Danny had called it quits needing to get home and saying would catch them in the morning. Most of the Navy Seals had done the same leaving Steve and JJ in his office with Catherine asleep.

JJ sipped his beer, "That was a close one."

"When aren't they all?" Steve asked his old friend.

"Think getting to old for running around like that for you."

"I didn't say needed to come with."

"Yeah, but you know for Catherine or you would do anything don't know how many times saved my ass."

Catherine stirred, "Too many to count."

They all laughed, "Or how many favors owe her?"

"Think he finally caught up to you."

Steve finished his beer, I think calling it quits."

"Sure Hetty will rip us a new one in the morning for sure."

"Or the Admiral not sure which one prefer?"
