"I'm bored."
"I know", he replied softly, and she nudged his bare foot with hers.
"That is your cue to do something you know."
"Alright, like what?"
"I don't know! Surprise me!"
"Hey, I'm bored too, you know!"
"Oh for the love of Morgana!"
He watched, half amused and half annoyed as Jennie picked another book and glared at it.
"And it's not like I'm helping you here – I know nothing about how to detect dark magic Sirius; you've been looking everything over yourself!"
"Yes, but I don't mind Jennie. And besides, you keep me company, that's sweet."
She softened then and kissed his cheek.
"Sorry… I don't mean to be snappish, but I don't like being locked inside."
He scoffed.
"Who does… I vote for a break! C'mon love, I'll make that bread you like, and you can make your pie, how does that sound?"
"Hm… sounds lovely, but you're leaving out my hugs and kisses, that's not nice", she said with a teasing glint in blue eyes, and he snorted amused and pulled her up from the floor and into a hug.
"It'll get better, and besides, we can leave if we want to, it's simply that Albus thinks you are safer here since you can't do magic."
"Oh don't remind me! I'm so jealous of you!" Jennie said and pouted those perfect pink lips; Sirius bit back a groan and kissed her and she melted against him.
"Mm… I like this kind of break", she moaned as they parted for air.

Jennie rolled off his slack body and sighed.
"Well, that was fun! But I'm even hungrier now…"
Sirius laughed and rolled onto his side and caressed her cheek with warm fingertips.
"I think being hungry is worth it love. But I'll feed you, just give me a minute."
"Don't you want pie anymore?" she asked as she watched rise and stretch and pull his pants on.
"Pie would be lovely, but you look worn out, so I can manage with bread."
She laughed and sat up.
"I'm satisfied, not worn out silly! Let's get food!"
They headed downstairs and Sirius began making bread while Jennie sliced tomatoes, pepper, leek, onion and cheese.
As she rolled the pie paste, two arms encircled her and hot lips nibbled on her neck.
"Mm… don't disturb me…" she chastised weakly and leaned into his touch.
"But you feel so good, and taste divine!" he murmured and licked her earlobe. She shivered and put the knife down.
"You're evil!"
"Mhm, but I'm the pleasurable sort of evil", he grinned and slid a hand up and in between her legs.
They didn't get food until much later, but Jennie found she really didn't mind.

"Love, we have owl post! It's the kid!" shouted Sirius and heard his blonde lover squeal in excitement.
"Ah great! Read it for? I love your voice!"
She smiled as she sat down beside him on the couch.
"Flatterer", he smirked and folded the letter.
"'Dear Jennie and Sirius, everything is fine here, but the atmosphere is dull and gloomy almost all the time. I miss you and I really think it's unfair that you, Jennie, has to stay inside 'cause it sucks! On the other hand, I'm glad that you, Sirius, no longer has to. I was thinking of coming home over the coming weekend since we now can do that. This new idea is, I think, mostly for our sanity and to keep our hopes up about our families; a small but important break from school and worries. Headmaster Dumbledore was actually smart there, wasn't he Jennie? And Sirius, I tried that new move in Quidditch you told me about, and I worked mighty just as you said it would! I'm off to bed now, si goodnight and see you the coming weekend, I hop. Love Harry.'"
"He's such a sweet boy", murmured Jennie, and Sirius hummed in agreement as she snuggled closer to him.
"We'll take him home, right?"
She snorted.
"Of course we will! We're family."
