A/N- Please review this chapter? I hope you like this.
They arrived home, Lindsay headed straight to her room slamming the door behind her. "What's up with her?" Marion asked Rachel cautiously.
"The funeral got to her, i don't know what she is doing, but she obviously seems in a hurry" Rachel admitted, they heard Lindsay's footsteps, non stop. "I'll go see her" Rachel walked up the stairs, once again, Marion did not object. She stayed away, Rachel could handle it, she however, couldn't.
"Lindsay, what on earth are you doing?" Rachel asked Lindsay, who was now emptying her draws, and stuffing them into a bag.
"I said i was leaving didn't i? I don't say things like this and not act upon it. I don't agree with empty statements, Emily is gone, there is nothing else for me here" Lindsay snapped, continuing to pack her bag, Rachel stood there gawping, how would she handle this situation? She went to speak, but Lindsay took the oppurtunity first. "No, mum is not a reason to stay here. Do i need to repeat what i said? She isn't a mother."
"Give her a chance, Lindsay that is all i ask.. stay?" Rachel looked to her like she had become a puppy, vulnerable and upset.
"And what? Let you tell her what to say, let her become your puppet? No, thats not real. You may aswell be my mother, you did a better than job that her. Don't try to stop me Rachel, i'm done" She zipped up her bag, hauling it over her shoulder, she ignored Rachel's pleas as she hopped down the stairs.
"Please, Lindsay!" Rachel called after her. Marion stood up from the arm chair, turning behind her to find a distraut Rachel.
"Lindsay? What's going on?" Marion stood in the door way next to Rachel, Lindsay span round, pulling her bag back up to her shoulder.
"Leaving. What else does it look like?" Lindsay groaned, her mother had the same shell shocked look on her face, the one which never ever seemed to go away.
"But honey.. i love you, and i know you don't believe-"
"- I know that you mean, i don't believe in anything you do for me. You stalk me, you hang around me, but barley ever speak. You just follow. I don't remember the last time you was really there for me. I know Rachel told you to go to me when i was in the bathroom crying my fucking eyes out!" Lindsay insulted.
"I bet you hate me, every time you reached out to me Lindsay, i never replied, i never helped. I'm sorry. It never occured to you how i might be feeling in all of this.. Lindsay, i hold back because i know i can't help you, i know Rachel is best at that. You didn't confide in me, you went to her for help, i didn't want to intrude. If i helped you, then i would've become more and more part of your life, and i don't want to risk another goobye Lindsay. I'm begging you... please.. stay" Marion sobbed, she inched closer and closer to her daughter, who just stared at her blankly, blinking to hold back the tears that were forming.
Lindsay dropped her bag to the floor, and dived into a hug, Marion squeezed her tightly, stroking her hair. "I love you, I'm sorry" Lindsay whispered in her air.
"Me too." Marion buried her head into Lindsay's shoulders, she never wanted to let go, not ever.
"Bye mum" Lindsay peeled herself of her mother, Marion stared at her, a face of remorse and dissapointment had been painted to replace it. Lindsay turned away from her mother, she lifted her heavy bag of the floor before snaking her arm through the loop. She walked slowly down the street, and almost to illustrate her feelings, rain began to fall, and the sky became darker as stormy clouds towered them. Lindsay continued to walk, not daring to look behind her. Rachel and Marion watched her. Mario had no more children, she had let the only 2 people she cared about down. Rachel's heart was torn out of her chest, she had been through so much with Lindsay, she had become a new person because of her.
"Come on" Rachel put her arm around Marion, who showed no emotion, she had found with Lindsay that, that was was dangerous. They walked inside, Marion walked straight upstairs, much like Lindsay did after Emily's funeral.
She stood out the door, staring at the two empty beds, she never even realised that Lindsay probably stared at Emily's empty bed at night, she never thought about that, her own daughter might've struggled to stay in that room. She gazed upon the room, before a piece of paper caught her eye, in which read:
Dear mum and Rachel, i'm sorry i left, i just can't handle these memories anymore, it's best if i go. Start a new life, with Hope, and Emily. I know, Emily will be watching over me, I think it would help if i moved away. I can find a place, it'll be fine. Sorry for all that i have put you through, i will remain in contact, when i find a place of my own i'll send you the address. Thank you, I love you.
- Lindsay.
A/N- The next couple of chapters will be about Lindsay and her future life. Kinda like a sequel?
