They get farther than they thought they would, Teyla and Vala make a very persuasive team.

"How many fingers did you have to break?" Cam quips.

"Just the ones that deserved it," Vala winks at Teyla.

"So," Cam speaks to the entire room "Thanks to Teyla and Vala we were able to find out that he specifically targeted one of the security guards and we have possible information on his whereabouts."

"What about Daniel?" Vala asks.

Cam clears his throat. "Seems that he hit a bit of a snag. Niam insisted that he would only speak with the Chief. She's headed there now."

"This was about us," Weir says. "The whole time. He wanted to get our attention and get his laptop into this building. He wants to take us down."

"Well," Cam seems surprisingly calm, "That makes it easy then, doesn't it."

Weir doesn't appear to see it that way. "Why easy? He's pretty much declared outright that his entire goal is to bring down the SFPD."

"Which means," Teyla has caught on. "That we will have no difficulties finding him. He will come to us."

"So we can do things on our terms." Cam finishes. "Rodney, think you can use his laptop to send him a message?"

"Of course, that's easy."

Cam makes the call. "Good, do it."

Rodney will never say it out loud, and he's definitely never going to mention it to John, but Cam and Teyla do make a pretty fantastic team.

Oberoth takes the bait. Everything seemed to be going fine until it wasn't.

"Go." Weir says. "I'll be fine."

Teyla knows that it isn't true. Knows that she shouldn't walk away. She looks to Cam. "We're not going anywhere," he says.

"I would prefer you stay." Oberoth says.

If they stay, then they will all be trapped.

Chief Weir straightens. "I'm your commanding officer and I am giving you all orders. Out. Now."

Orders. Teyla thinks of the times that John had skirted orders. That she had skirted orders. Because sometimes it was worth the price that would have to be paid.

None of them have moved.

"Out," Cam finally says.

And sometimes there were the orders that had to be obeyed. No matter what.
