Here is the next chapter and I hope you like it. There will be another chapter posted and comment what you think. I will be writing another RBS story once this is over.
"She needs a heart Erin," Dr. McAndrew said. He was getting annoyed.
"I know but she's not qualified. Not even a little," she replied.
"There has to be something we can do. She'll die."
"Let me get the head of Life Share on the line. I saved his chocking wife at a convention last year. Maybe it's his turn to repay the favor," Erin said hopefully.
"Thanks," the doctor said walking out.

Ian Archer was sitting next to Bella in her car.
"You never told why you left?" Ian asked.
"My dad was coming to pick me up and leave the hospital."
"So you're better," Ian said.
"I'm not. I just keep on waiting for someone to figure that out but they never do," Bella responded. "My dad called earlier saying that he couldn't make it."
"Well I guess neither of us can always get what we want."
"Well what is it you want?" Bella asked.
"This," Ian replied leaning in. He didn't know what got over him. But the boy started to kiss Bella.
Bella was startled at first but went along. She didn't know why this felt good and neither did Ian.
Ian was longing for someone and since Mary wasn't there, the other girl had to do.

Dr. Grace walked into the doctor's lounge. Nurse Jackson was looking through the fridge.
"Dinah, we got a heart," Dr. Grace said with a smile on her face.
"Oh my, that's great!"
"It's already here. Mary is prepped and is waiting for Brittany to take her up to surgery." Erin replied.
"Tell Brittany that I'll take care of it," Nurse Jackson replied walking out.

Mary Cross was sitting in her bed wearing a hospital gown. She was surprised to see Nick walk through the doorway.
"Nick, hey," she said.
Nick went over and sat on the bed opposite of her.
"Hey Mary," he replied.
"What are you doing here?" Mary asked.
"You can't expect me to let you go under without a quick pep talk beforehand?" He asked.
"Drew took that stuff pretty seriously and so do you," Mary replied.
"You know, one of the last things Drew told me was to make sure you get a heart," Nick said. "He wanted you to get out of here, but not the way he did."
Mary smiled. Even though it wasn't funny, Nick did too. Mary picked up something from behind her. A letter.
Mary held it out for Nick to take.
"If I don't make it, will you give this to Ian for me?" She asked.
Nick took it and held onto it.
"Sure," he replied.
Nurse Jackson appeared in the doorway with a gurney. "Mary Cross,"
Nurse Jackson boomed. "You're supposed to be in surgery," she said with a smile.
Mary stood up, along with Nick.
"Thanks Nick," she said giving him a quick hug. Mary went over and hopped on the gurney in the hallway. She gave Nick a quick smile and said, "See you on the flip side peg leg."
Nurse Jackson wheeled her away. She put the gurney in an elevator and followed it in.
"Nurse Jackson," Mary started.
"What is it?" she replied.
"What happens if my body rejects the heart?" Mary asked. She was scared but didn't want Nurse Jackson to see it.
"Look Mary, I know you're scared, but you're going to be fine. I promise," she replied putting her hand on her shoulder.
The elevator opened and they started to go out.
"Before I go in there, I have to tell you something," Mary said. The gurney stopped outside of a set of double doors.
"Thank you. Thank you for everything. I listened to you and took a good look in the mirror and you're right. I've been running away from myself for too long. Now I know who I really am," Mary paused. "And if I don't make it, I don't want to be remembered as the jackass that couldn't get her act together. But thanks to you, I did."
"Mary, we make a lot of choices in the world. And these choices define us. But when we make these choices, you either gain or lose something in the process. All of the choices you've made have brought you to this moment. So, you could've done worse," she said with a smile.
Nurse Jackson wheeled Mary into the operating room.
