Let's begin the story shall we?

(Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Young Justice. Honestly I don't know why I keep saying that cause you already know that so well.)

Chapter 37: Inner Demons

"Talking"

'Thinking'

Danny and Dan kept on running for a good 4 minutes with speed could make the fastest of Ninja's burn with jealousy and the fastest of warriors feel ashamed of their speed and went very deep of Danny's mind to do a check up on him.

"You know. After that beat down he took from Silver, I expected him to take a dirt nap of at least 3 more years." spoke up Dan, his expression grim as he recalled that eventful yet dreaded day.

"Me too. But that guy is stronger than both of us combined, Dan." said Dan. "We're almost there."

"Makes sense." spoke Dan before they both came to a halt and both Danny's looked at the large gate in front of them with a weary and cautious eye.

"Let's go in." said Danny but Dan didn't respond and went in without another word.

The inside was rather different from all the other parts of Danny's mind. Both ghosts cloud hear the dripping noises of water droplets continuously. But neither paid any mind to it.

Soon they encountered another door. It was bigger, and was pouring out a lot of energy. Ghost energy and Demon energy. It was obvious that the Ghost energy was being bound by the demon and was furiously trying to break free.

The door opened on its own and Danny entered followed by Dan.

Inside was what appeared to be a jail cell and inside was a being. Strapped to the wall even through one arm was free, dangling. Snow white hair, same as Danny's which were so long that they hid his eyes from view of the ghost and and current human. The jail bars had a few seals that had weird looking markings on it.

"The seal seems to be fine. Then why all the roars?" asked Danny.

"I think we really are becoming insane." said Dan, running his hand in his flaming hair.

"Don't go that way." spoke Danny, becoming annoyed at Dan. And the being strapped on the wall began to stir, catching both Danny's attention and looked at them with an emotionless face which quickly turned into a scowl. He growled at them. His Green and red eyes, glowing with fury.

"Let me out." spoke the being, his eyes glowing with hate and anger. But it didn't effect Danny or Dan the slightest, they looked at him with an emotionless face.

"LET! ME! OUT!." he... it... roared again. This time, his voice more like Danny's ghostly wail, only stronger 3 times.

"Like hell," spoke up Dan, annoyed cause he almost had his ear blown out by that.

"Let me out! I have to kill them! It's the only thing that'll bring peace to me!" he said again, thrashing in his bonds, trying to break free and take control over Danny's mind.

"You're rage. Rage can never wither away. If we free you than you'll just keep slaughtering anything and everything that you see." said Danny, his voice colder than normal. He didn't give a damn about what happens to the humans or anyone else, not Superman or Batman. The only reason he doesn't let his rage out is because he'll kill Dani. Silver can take care of himself since he was the one who trapped his rage in this cage in the first place.

The Danny look alike kept thrashing around, trying to break free. His roars going throughout Danny's mind making it almost unbearable for him.

"Re-enforce the seal." said Danny his head was aching from the yelling from his rage and anger.

"Okay." said Dan and they both raised their hand at the center of the cage. Both of their hands glowing green and red which poured out their energy. The energy turned into a gas and made it's way towards the metal bars and that went on for a while. The sounds of Rage became less and less every passing second till it became non existent.

Rage kept thrashing around and broke the bond on his hand and now both of his hands were free.

Danny and Dan's eyes went wide at that. At this rate,, Rage will be free. That was what they thought, till a hand rose out from behind them, and a monstrous voice spoke.

"Sleep"

The Body of rage went limp at that, and it fell asleep instantly, his body dangling but not touching the ground.

Danny and Dan hurriedly turned around to meet someone who they didn't expect.

"I-It can't be." shuttered Danny, his eyes wide.

"B-but h-how?" asked Dan, who was equally shocked as his counterpart.

"Theós?" they both asked in unison while said being just gave a sly grin.

Dani walked back to her home with a smile on her face. She had loads of fun with her new friends. Even though for some reason her 'dad' told her not to tell them about his ghost powers while had made it rather hard when they asked her how she was a Half ghost while Danny was human. But she avoided that by saying it was complicated which led to a raised eye brow from Superboy or Connor, whatever he liked to call himself to say that those very words, it's complicated might have been a family trait, since Danny says that a lot as well.

Walking by the roar, all by herself, Dani was almost halfway there when he saw a new building in the horizon. Surprisingly it wasn't a building when she got close enough for it. It was a monument being made.

"Um, sir. What's this?" she asked a man who was working on the monument.

"Huh? Oh this? You see, the President's of the world have thought that the Justice League has done so much for them and didn't ask anything in return. So they are making statues for their honor and bravery all around the planet." spoke the man before going back his work.

"Nice." said Dani with a small whistle and continued on her way.

Just a few seconds after her head whipped around, spotting her dad who just went by her with a hard hat on him, indicating that he was a worker. She blinked a couple of times at that.

"Hey dad, what are you doing?" asked Dani but her dad didn't reply.

"Dad?" she asked again and ran towards him putting a hand on his shoulder. The man turned around and gave Dani a confused look.

But that man wasn't her father.

"Can I help you?" asked the man, his brown eyes looked at her in confusion and shoulder length blond hair covering a part of his eye.

"Huh? Oh sorry. I thought you were someone else." said Dani and let him go. The man kept walking forward, his face away from Dani's view and said girl started back to her house trying to erase that awk-weird predicament from her mind.

But she missed the sly smile on the blond man's face the moment he turned away. Showing jagged teeth and his eyes glowing ever so slightly.

'Soon' thought the man as he vanished.

Wow. Finally I'm finished with this chapter. Actually I was supposed to finish this one three days ago. But something came up and I have to look after my dad's store. *Sigh*Whatever. I know that none of you care.
