Taliyah took a deep breath coming to a halt in front of the Great Hall, the crowd thicker than usual. Champions left and right taking turns gulping down as much ale as they could. She could not blame them, and ever since it began snowing, it was too cold outside to do anything. Squeezing through the overcrowded tables, she finally made it to the back, finding Yasuo in deep thought. Across from him sat Twisted Fate, a confident smirk upon his lips. Between the two lay a pile of cards, and silently Taliyah took a seat next to the swordsman.

Twisted Fate slid his hand back and forth as if deciding which card to use, but knowing the card master, he had already planned his next few moves. His eyes met Taliyah's, and his fingers pinched the edge of his hat as he tilted it slightly welcoming the little lady to the table. Yasuo finally picked a card, and set it down only to have it countered by the Card Master. With a smirk, Twisted Fate rose tilting his head to bid the man a good day. Yasuo's eye twitched, and he growled letting out a frustrated puff of air.

"Maybe another day," Taliyah smiled gently patting his shoulder. Yas shot her a quick and withering glare and she chuckled awkwardly. "I'm not helping, noted." She had never seen him lose his composure so readily before, much less glare at her, and it made her uncomfortable.

"Don't worry, it's to be expected after his 12th loss," Ekko grinned. Taliyah's jaw dropped, and she stood up abruptly watching the swordsman walk away with his back slumped in defeat.

"D-Did you say 12?"

"Well, maybe it was 13, I lost track. Best to give him some time, he just got owned." Ekko nodded in agreement to his own words, and in response, Taliyah nodded silently watching her friend leave the room.

"So-" Taliyah cut herself off, Ekko smiling at her, she smiled back only to realize his attention wasn't on her, but rather Jinx who sat a few tables behind her. She watched the two exchange devilish grins, and he bid her a brief goodbye as he headed off to greet his newly found friend. Taliyah frowned now finding herself alone at the table.

"Ah, men they're so blind," Janna sighed.

"More like boy," Taliyah corrected grumpily smacking her fingers against the table.

"Are you okay?" Nami asked.

"N-No, I'm not okay, he always says he likes me, but then his focus is on other girls, and it's really annoying," Taliyah ranted smacking her hand against the table in rage. Janna took hold of her hand before she could injure the table and smiled softly.

"Maybe you should talk to him then?"

"Words don't work with that moron," she huffed puffing her cheeks.

"Maybe you're not using them right," Nami teased playing with a lock of Taliyah's hair.

"I can't just walk up to him, and say such embarrassing things, and it doesn't work like that!"

"Sure it does, it's only embarrassing if you make it so," Janna said. "What do you want from him?"

"What I want...I know this sounds selfish, but I want him to pay attention to me," she grumbled. "He's always looking at other girls."

"It's not like you two are dating, why should he pay attention solely to you?"

"You're not helping..."

"On the contrary, dear." Janna took hold of Taliyah's chin turning her head to the left, her eyes now fixated on Ekko's back.

"If you want him to pay attention to you, then first you have to make him yours," she whispered. with a shocked expression, Taliyah's gaze fell on Janna, unsure whether she was an angel or a wolf in sheep's clothing, but she was making a fair point.

"But isn't that insinuating that he doesn't see me that way?"

"Then make him see you that way," Nami grinned. "And if it doesn't work, I'll smack him into the ocean." Seeing the doubt and confusion on Taliyah's face, Janna set her hand on her shoulder gently squeezing with a soft smile.

"It's better to make mistakes than nothing at all." With that Janna and Nami took their leave followed by Taliyah slapping her cheeks, now filled with a sense of purpose.

"I just have to make him like me, how hard can that be right? Agh, who am I kidding he's as dense as a boulder," she whispered to herself. She picked herself up heading towards her room, plotting for tomorrow's game, Ekko would be on her team, and it was now or never to make him notice her.

Taliyah sat atop a branch blowing on her hands hoping to warm them up. Even though she was supposed to grab Ekko's attention, she couldn't find him and ended up wandering the jungle in an attempt to do so. As she walked, she was in deep thought wondering how she was supposed to make him notice her. "Maybe if I saved him, he would be all like 'oh Taliyah, my hero I love you,' no that's just stupid," she grumbled.

"My hero," a deep voice rumbled, and Taliyah gasped whipping around just in time to block Rengar's claws. She jumped watching his claws slice the stone formation that had stopped his assault. Taliyah cursed to herself annoyed that she had let her guard down. Rengar charged at her, his claws extended in hopes of ripping her flesh, but she wouldn't fall that quickly. The beast growled ducking behind a tree to avoid the barrage of stones hurling in his direction.

With a quick leap Rengar threw his bola towards Taliyah, and to his satisfaction, it wrapped around her ankles, and she fell while attempting to take a step backward. He took the opportunity to leap at her, his claws at the ready. However, the young girl had more tricks up her sleeve, she pressed her hand to the ground concentrating her powers and as hunter closed in, she let out a fierce battle cry, a stone spike coming out of the snow-covered ground and impaling his chest, before his claws could dig any deeper into her shoulder.

He coughed, sputters of blood falling on the young girl's coat. Taliyah picked herself up and went to finish off the hunter, but he sliced the pillar in half taking the sharp edge out of his chest, throwing it to the ground.

"Oh, no you don't!" Taliyah shouted chasing after the cat, but it was too late he had turned invisible and made his escape. In the distance, Taliyah could make out the clashing of swords and came right on time, as Ekko was cornered in a duel with Darius. She smirked finding her time to shine was now, and with all her might, the ground shook, the earth bending and twisting to her will.

Darius was caught off guard by the sudden shaking and glanced up to see Taliyah falling towards him, hurling stones of all shapes and sizes in his direction. Ekko took the distraction to his advantage and charged at Darius, his clock hand drawn, but Darius wasn't a fool, his attention was still partially on Ekko, and before the boy could land a blow, he kicked him away sneering as he crashed into the wall.

Once the boy had been dealt with, Darius grabbed Taliyah's leg before she could reach the ground and threw her to the side. She rolled a few paces before coming to a sharp halt hitting the patch of ice lightly covering the river. It cracked beneath her, and she gasped falling through and into the water. The river was not deep and only reached up to her waist, but it didn't stop the frigid water from seeping up into her clothes. She scurried out of the water, freezing as a shadow loomed over her. Darius glared at her, and without a word he kicked her, watching her slide across the ice.

"You fucking bastard!" Ekko screamed charging at the Noxian Hand. The bulky man grabbed Ekko's hair lifting him off the ground before forcing him back down to the floor. Darius stepped on his stomach, clutching his axe preparing to finish Ekko for good. A sudden gust of wind caught the Noxian off guard, and his attention was now focused solely on the swordsman who had made a heroic entrance.

The two charged at each other, while Darius easily outmatched him with raw power, Yasuo was swift, and precise his attacks one by one stripping Darius of his defenses. The rest was history as Darius collapse from blood loss, and the swordsman scoffed cleaning his sword in the snow. He glanced at Ekko who held Taliyah in his arms, he was visibly upset, and the man sighed rubbing the back of his neck.

"She'll be fine, she's just exhausted from fighting Rengar," he motioned pointing to her bleeding shoulder. The game came to a quick conclusion, and Ekko wasted no time in scolding Taliyah for her reckless behavior.

"You're reckless all the time," she snapped back.

"Yeah but I can fix my mistakes!" At those words, Ekko thinned his lips watching her hurt expression.

"I just thought you would pay more attention to me if I saved your life," she mumbled. "You hardly spend time with me anymore, and I-whenever you look at other girls I get jealous, and it hurts because you never notice me!" She bit her bottom lip her eyes tearing up, and she just realized the words that left her mouth cursing Janna mentally.

"Is that all?" he asked. Taliyah's jaw dropped her heart clenching, feeling the rush of anxiety through her body.

"You're a terr-" he cut her off, pressing his lips to hers laughing to himself.

"You're silly," he smiled.

"What?" She took a few steps back pressing her hand to her lips staring at him in shock.

"You're silly for thinking that. I've never had my eyes on anyone else but you," Ekko smirked rubbing the back of his neck. Taliyah stood there silently, her hands dropping to her side, and after blinking a few times, letting the words sink in, she huffed.

"You're lying!" she countered. Ekko narrowed his eyes at her and scoffed.

"I confess, and you tell me I'm lying, that's rude!"

"Then don't lie!" she mumbled her cheeks reddening.

"Fine then let's go out on a date!"

"W-what?"

"You heard me, let's go out or are you too scared?" he smirked making chicken noises.

"Of course I'm not scared!" Janna stared at their exchange with a loud and exasperated sigh rubbing her temples. "They're both morons..."

"Indeed," Yasuo agreed, watching the senseless bickering going back and forth between the two. They kissed again, Janna and Yasuo stared unsure whether they loved or hated each other.
