Some slight spoilers from Deadlock :)

"Where are we to look for her?" Tailen asked, keeping a short distance between her and Ratchet expecting a Vehicon to pop out of every corner they turn.

"She will try to be brave." Ratchet answered, looking down another empty hallway. "And stop the Decepticon's from Cyber forming Earth."

"She is not stupid enough to try." Tailen shot, although she wasn't as certain of her words as she made them sound. Lately, Kclayna has had an unpredictable nature.

Ratchet scoffed, rolling his optics. "You clearly do not know her. She has grown into a far stronger young femme than you were at her age."

"Well excuse me. Have I not just shown I'm still as strong as I was?"

"Just because you took down a few Vehicons is miniscule compared to facing one of Megatron's lieutenants." Ratchet remembered when he not only face against a whole bunch of Vehicons, but he also took down Knockout and infected the Decepticon database without them knowing. "I've proved my medal during the war for Cybertron. I have yet to see you gain a medal."

"Kclayna gave me a medal. That is all I need." Tailen grinned at the memory. Unlike Ratchet, Tailen felt that medals were just for sentimentality. It's one's actions, wisdom and strength that makes a strong in any battle. When Kclayna was a sparkling, however, she made a silver medal made from scrap and wrote 'Mommy, my hero' on it. It was the only medal Tailen had ever gotten and she was more than content with it.

"Sentimentality." Ratchet whispered, pausing at the corner. "I'm kind of surprised Kclayna isn't like that."

"That is a surprise." She paused next to Ratchet, peering around the corner.

"Tailen."

"What?"

"Remove your servo." She looked up at him, suddenly her spark started buzzing rapidly like it was going to burn through her chest plate. She stopped breathing, her jaw dangled slightly, for a second she wanted to kiss him. She wanted to wrap her arms around him and hold him tightly, pretend the war wasn't happening, pretend they weren't on the Nemesis searching for their-her-daughter. For a second, they just stared at each other, their blue optics looking at each other. One wanted to kiss the other, one wanted things back the way they were. Tailen went numb, feeling his spark hum in his chest, she felt her head started to lower down to rest on his chest plate. Before it could drop, Ratchet's servo digit caught her under her chin plate and lifted it up. His blue eyes staring blankly into hers, he could see something familiar in them, a feeling she hasn't felt for a long time. Then he grasped her servo lightly, feeling it tremble like it used to before he'd kiss her neck wires. Ignoring his fluttering spark, he removed Tailen's servo and held it between them.

"This neither the time, nor the place." He said, struggling to keep his voice print clear and calm. Tailen's optics looked at him in pain and disappointment. Swallowing down the sobs in her pipes, she nodded and lowered her servo back to her side. Clearing her pipes, she refocused on the previous topic. "When I last saw her, before I sent her away, she was still a young, innocent femme with all these dreams of performing in a large audiance. I had hopes of the ending of war by this point."

"Perhaps there is a reason, a bigger purpose for her." Ratchet walked around the corner, leading the way again.

"Please do not start philosophical conversation with me. I am not in the mood."

"Please." Ratchet rolled his optics, exaggerating on his word. "I was only saying words you want to hear."

Ok, deep breath, you can do this, Kclayna thought to herself. Shockwave stood across the room from her, preparing to drain the perfected synthetic energon into the newly created Omega Lock. The blueish-green container's were nearly half full and rising up gradually as if it were taunting her.

"Shut it down Shockwave!" Kclayna shouted in a determined voice, taking a few steady steps. The one optic Decepticon turned slightly, the bright red dot seemed to be staring into her spark. Fighting the urge to run, she continued. "I won't let you harm Earth."

"The planet will not be harmed." He said in an almost annoyingly nails on a chalkboard calm manner. "Only to it's ingenious life forms."

"Not if I have anything to say about it." With as much courage as she could muster, she grabbed the scalpels from her side and barged forward. As she brought her arm down in a slicing motion, Shockwave moved slightly to the side and grabbed the back of her helmet. Gasping, she felt his strong servos lift her up and thrown over his shoulder.

Get up! She screamed at herself, stumbling to her landing pads, she slashed again. As one managed to scratch his deep purple husk, Kclayna felt a strong sense of pride overcome her spark. She slashed again, the blade screeching against his chest plates. Before she could slash again, Shockwave's arm slapped her faceplate and sent her spiraling into one of the containers. Her husk landed hard on the ground, she sucked in a short breath, her back and chest plates palpitating.

"Why do you insist on battle?" He asked, standing still at his post. "Earth is doomed as are your compatriots. Your death will be in vain."

His words echoed in her processor. In a way, he had a point. Even if the Autobots were to arrive at that moment and manage to take down Shockwave. How can she be certain that they would be able to stop Megatron or any other Decepticon from Cyber forming Earth? The feeling of hopeless defeat became a boulder on her shoulder pads, pinning her to the ground and suffocating her. She felt the strength seep away from her arms, her husk starting to lay flat on the ground and allow Shockwave to finish her.

Earth, Miko, Raf, Jack, she thought to herself, remembering why she was fighting. With their images in her processor, she stood up and barged at him again. Before either one of them could land an attack, a tall, beast like bot stood between them and flung Shockwave across the room. Kclayna cringed, hearing his husk hit the wall hard and landed with a loud thud. The beast turned and looked down at her with heavy concern.

"My queen, are you harmed?"

"N-no, I'm fine, Predaking."

"Kclayna! Get away from her!" Kclayna heard her mother shout. Predaking quickly turned and stood in front of Kclayna in battle position.

"No stop!" Kclayna screamed, putting her servos up. "Mom, he won't hurt me."

"He is a Predacon, a beast!" Tailen shouted, holding a fire blaster aimed at Predaking. Then she saw Ratchet standing behind Tailen, feeling a strong sense of fear spike from her spark. She hid slightly behind Predaking, hoping he hadn't seen her.

"My queen, who are these insignificant vermin?" Preadaking asked, staring down Tailen with energon thirsty optics. "How do they know your name?"

Kclayna forced a smile and moved around Predaking. Gently taking Predaking's servo, she held it over her chest plate. The battle rage, animal instinct disappeared from his optics when he looked down at her, feeling her spark hum against his servo. Kclayna's smile grew, feeling the warmth from his servo against her spark; in a way, it was comforting. But this wasn't the time for comfort.

"Predaking, these are Autobots, they are the good guys." She explained, in almost a condescending tone. "These two are here to save me."

"My queen, I will be the one saving you." Predaking took both of her servo's into his and pulled her closer to him, his yellow optics looking into hers. "You and I shall abandon this ship, take refuge together."

"And we will, I promise. But you have to do something for me."

"Tell me, and I will obey you."

Ratchet narrowed his eyes at the two, studying their postures and their voice prints. Then he realized what was going on, and it sent a chill down his spine. Although Kclayna stated she didn't want him to be her creator-lie or not he wasn't sure- he still had a protective instinct towards her. Well, he would to anyone who's servos were clamped in the Predacon's.

"Go to Megatron," Her voice print slightly deeper, as if she were controlling him. "Face him not as a warrior, but as a beast. Be who you are, and fight with us."

"I will my queen, and I will return to you victorious." He lowered his head to her servos, gently tapping his servo against them. He released her servos and ran past Ratchet and Tailen, disappearing out the door. Tailen and Ratchet gradually turned, staring at Kclayna with heavy questionable glances. Kclayna smiled innocnetly, waiting for one or both of them to start shouting at her. At least from Ratchet, she figured he already knew she had lied to him and hurt him beyond comprehension. Shockingly, he didn't say anything but stared at her.

"What just happened?" Tailen asked slowly. "Please tell me that was not what I think it was."

"Well, I guess I tamed the beast." Kclayna shrugged, keeping her smile as innocent as possible. Although Tailen wouldn't believe her, Kclayna was speaking the truth. After she had done her part, Megatron threw her to the mercy of Predaking. She waited for him to start throwing her against walls, slashing at her husk, stomping her into the ship. Instead, he was standing there and gaping at her.

"Tamed? That fiasco seemed a bit more than tamed."

"Well, instead of beating me to a pulp, he dropped to his knee pads and started calling me his queen."

"He called you his queen?" Ratchet asked, wanting to smack himself for the unsteadiness in his voice print. Kclayna remained silent and her smile disappeared. Ratchet threw his arms in the air. "Ah dep dep dep, I'm better off not knowing."

"W-we got other things to worry about."

"The Omega Lock's control station is located on the lower deck." Ratchet informed, keeping an optic on Shockwave while Tailen and Kclayna guard the doors. "Tailen and I are already here, and we have Kclayna as well."

Then the floor began to move, opening from the center and spreading out. Ratchet backed up to a corner, watching the floor disappear and a bright blue light lit up the room. He didn't need to look down to know it was the Omega Lock, and it was fueled and ready. Looking at the femme's who had somehow moved from the door to the opposite end of the room, he could see the panic in their optics. Neither of them knew what to do. Then blue balls of fire shot up, missing the control panel.

"Shockwave, commence Omega Lock firing sequence." Ratchet heard Megatron's voice print on the monitor. He gasped and looked at the control panel, seeing Shockwave was up and running to it. Ratchet wished he had a firing weapon instead of blades, it would have been easier to stop Shockwave. Since he didn't possess any weapon like that, he brought out his blades and charged at Shockwave. He raised up his left blade and sliced off Shockwave's servo. The faceless bot howled in agony, stumbling backwards and holding his servo in pain.

"Watch out!" He heard Teama's voice shout. Ratchet turned in the direction of the voice only to be shoved back by Tailen blocking a fire blaster. "Keep your guard up! The Deccepticons must not be allowed to launch any attack from the Omega Lock!" The doors opened and a combination of both team's charged out with a swarm of Vehicons following closely behind.

Ratchet dodged the balster fire soaring from the door. Vehicons marched in like Nazi soldiers and started firing at every Autobot in their sight. Ratchet and Tailen waited for them to be close enough to slash off it's helmet. Then a bunch of them hit the ground when sharp blaster fire punctured their husk. Ratchet's optics shot up, seeing a flier soaring in small circles above the Omega Lock. Two small bots stood on top of the flier, shooting spears and using a shiled to block fire blasters.

Ratchet recognized the wings on the flier.

"What the scrap are you doing!?" Bianna screamed, dodging blaster's, trying to watch Micra and Blur as the soared in circles around the Omega Lock.

"We're here to help!" Micra shouted, managing to hold herself up on the homemade leg's she made out of scrap. Steele stood behind her, using a shield to block the blast fire while Micra dropped something thick and heavy on a few Vehicons. Seconds later, it spat out spears at the Vehicons, killing them on the spot. Bianna screamed again. Seeing a purple fire blaster coming at them, the flier flipped them up and transformed into a familiar small bot."Whoa!"

"You two are in so much trouble!"

"Busy mom!" Blur managed to shout, transforming back into a jet. Steele and Micra landed perfectly on his back.

Then a loud shriek pierced the space, and another flier soared down, attacking every Vehicon in it's sight. Ratchet realized it wasn't a flier, it wasn't even a Decepticon, but a, as humans would call it, a Pteranadon.

"A dinobot." Ratchet said, Ratchet said in disbelief, staring wide optic at the flying, prehistoric bot. He heard a loud roar and screams of agony behind him. Ratchet quickly looked at the door, his optics went wide when a Triceratops and Steogsaurus barged out, taking out the Vehicons Smokescreen and Arcee were struggling against.

"Woo-hoo!"

"Wait, who..."

The Pteranodon soared downwards and a small bot jumped off it's back, landing gracefully on his landing pads next to a pile of dead Vehicons. Even in the dark, Ratchet recognized the white helmet and yellow landing pads.

"Kade?"

The mech turned around, his dirty faceplate formed a warm smile. His blue optics glowing, dents and scratches covered his husk. Bianna and Bumblebee felt their sparks buzz rapidly, Bianna's optics welled up, and her mouth valve started trembling. It was like living a moment in a nightmare and dream crossover; Kade was online but was in danger of dying.

"Hey, mother."
