Chapter 38: Living Legend
"Ohhhhh…. My head…" Link says and touches his head. He stands up and looks around before he realizes that he is in a jail.
"What?!" Link says and runs up to the jail cell and looks out of his jail. There's no one around here. Then he realizes that his weapons are gone.
"What happened?! Oh! Someone kidnapped me!" Link says. Then he tries to use an Aura Sphere to break the jail. But it was no use, he can't use any move!
"ARRG!" Link roars in pain and holds his left hand, because the strange pattern on the back of his left hand starts bleeding! But there is no blood come out.
"… So it is the time for me to pay the cost of existence…" Link mumbles. Then he turns his attention back to the jail cell.
"BAHHH! Is anyone here?!" Link roars and shouts out of the jail. But no one responds to him.
"Oh Farore…" Link says.
"Link! Are you alright?" Midna asks.
"Midna! What happens after someone smashed my head?" Link asks.
"… I am not sure about this because not so long after you fell unconscious, I fell unconscious for some reason too." Midna says.
"Someone kidnapped us!" Link says.
"Not just both of us…" Midna says and points her finger to the inner area of Link's jail. Link realizes that Zelda, Jedi, Ordin, Scarley, Dyabolt, Glacier, Iris, Ravenoir and Falcon are also here too. But they are still unconscious.
"Everyone!" Link shouts, but no one wakes up.
"… Someone put a sleeping weed into their food or attacked them with a sleeping gas. But they are still fine." Midna says after she investigates everyone.
"Thank Farore…" Link says and picks nine Chesto Berries from his bag and gives them to everyone.
"Yawn…" Everyone yawns and wakes up.
"Where are we?" Scarley asks.
"Hey! We are in a jail!" Ordin roars.
"How can we end up here?!" Dyabolt says.
"We had been kidnapped!" Jedi says.
"Link! Thanks Farore!" Zelda says.
"Link, do you have any idea about this?" Glacier asks.
"No. I only know that someone kidnapped us." Link says.
"By who?" Iris asks.
"Dunno." Link says.
"Let's break the jail!" Scarley roars. But Ordin smashes Scarley's head.
"You fxxxxxg idiot! Don't you see that they took our weapon too!" Ordin roars.
"And a few moments ago, I tried to use my move, but it was no use…" Ravenoir says.
"… As well as my magic." Iris says. And then, a group of Pokemon appears in front of the jail.
"Oh! Did you sleep well?" One of that Pokemon asks.
"Hey! You bxxxxxd! Let us out!" Ordin roars.
"We can't. You are criminals!" Another Pokemon says.
"We aren't criminals! We aren't Heroes/Heroines of Legend!" Glacier says.
"Ah! Then your existence shall serve as the offering in this night's ceremony!" Another Pokemon says and laughs.
"What?!" Link says.
"Now please prepare yourself for a ceremony this night…" Another Pokemon says before they disappear.
"Blast it!" Ordin roars.
"What should we do?! They will kill us tonight during the wedding ceremony!" Zelda says.
"Can anyone do something?!" Link asks. But no one answers him.
"… All you need to do is sit down and calm down." Falcon says.
"How can I stay calm?!" Link roars and looks at Falcon. But Falcon looks back at Link with his serious face.
"And how can a Hero of Legend can't calm down in this situation?" Falcon says.
"Fine!" Link roars.
About thirty minutes pass, Link and his friends are able to calm down. The watch on Jedi's wrist shows that now is about 14 o'clock.
"Falcon, you are right. After I calm down, I can think of everything brighter." Link says.
"Did you find any way to get out of here?" Zelda asks.
"Not really…" Link says.
"Link, I notice something. This jail has an anti-move and anti-magice barrier. So this place aren't ordinary place…" Midna says.
"… And the one who can create the anti-move and anti-magic barrier that strong enough to makes us can't use any move or magic… That one mustn't be an ordinary Pokemon." Dyabolt says.
"… Do you think that the one that kidnapped us is the Dark God's minions?" Glacier asks.
No one says anything.
"… It is the time…" Falcon says.
"Time?" Everyone looks at Falcon.
"… It is the time for you all to know the truth about me." Falcon says.
"Falcon! We must think of a way to get out of here first!" Scarley says.
"… We will not be able to get out of here if you don't listen to me." Falcon says.
"... Falcon, you know something about this and you didn't tell us, don't you?" Ordin says.
"… Yes. I know that you all don't like when their friend keep a secret from his or her friends, but could you listen to my story first?" Falcon says.
Everyone looks at each others, then Link answers.
"… Okay." Link says. Then Falcon starts telling his story.
"First, like Anna, I came from the past… with my best partner, Tysand the Garchomp." Falcon says.
"You and Tysand know each other before?!" Link says.
"… For several years. After we came to this period of time, a group of Pokemon appeared and… captured me and Tysand. They took us to the Gamma Building…" Falcon says.
"Wait, didn't you the one who met Tysand, the last dragon and you took him to the Gamma Building?" Glacier says.
"… No, both of us were captured by a group of Pokemon who work for President Veyser. When the leader of that group saw me and Tysand… He took Tysand into a part of their nasty project…" Falcon says.
"What project?!" Link asks.
"… They distorted Tysand's gene, made him a mutant Pokemon." Falcon says.
"Wait…" Jedi says and thinks back to when he was doing the graduate exam at the Alpha Exploration School… There is a question about the mutant Pokemon.
"There are three types of mutant Pokemon. One is a Pokemon who has a very strange, disgusting body but with no mental problem. Two is a Pokemon who have a little strange body but with a little mental problem. And the last… a Pokemon with a normal body but with a strong mental problem…" Jedi explains.
"You are right… They turned Tysand into a Pokemon with normal body but with a strong mental problem. This is the reason why he can't talk." Falcon says.
"So cruel!" Zelda says.
"Did President Veyser know all of this?!" Scarley asks.
"… I think he only knows that I am the one who found Tysand, the last dragon. But he doesn't know about the nasty thing that those scientists had done with Tysand…" Falcon says, a clear drop comes out of Falcon's eyes.
"What the…" Everyone says.
"And then they brainwashed Tysand and used in many bad ways such as send him to kill someone…" Falcon says, trying very hard to hold his tears back.
"Then, what did they have done with you?" Iris asks.
"… After knowing that I am a sorcerer, they used me in many bad ways such as control Pokemon…" Falcon says.
"But then, why did they allow you to travel with us?" Link asks.
"… Everyone, I am sorry. The reason why they want me to travel with you because… They want me to brainwash you all or kill you all if I can't brainwash you." Falcon says.
"What?!" Everyone says.
"… In the deepest part of my heart, I have no desire to do anything bad to you. And after I saw Anna and realized that you all are the Heroes/Heroine of Legend… I know that you all are my only hope…" Falcon says.
Everyone looks at Falcon.
"… I decided that I will aid you during your adventure. This made those scientists became very mad because I didn't even try to do something to you… This may be the reason why they kidnapped us…" Falcon says.
"They kidnap us because they want to kill or brainwash us?!" Link says.
"But why didn't they brainwash you?" Midna asks.
"… I am a sorcerer, so they can't do anything to me. I know that after they brainwash you all, they will kill me." Falcon says.
"What the…" Everyone says.
"… Before I told you about this, I told Anna about my everything before. She agreed to help me and Tysand because she is willing to help Tysand from the Gamma Building." Falcon says.
"Anna knew all of this?!" Everyone says.
"… This is the reason why she acted aggressive toward you before. She wants you all forget about her and don't get in her way when she tries to rescue Tysand." Falcon says.
"Then, the reason why Anna decided to get married with Tysand…" Glacier says.
"… I have heard from President Veyser before that if I can find a female dragon, he will try to ask her to get married with Tysand. President Veyser wants to make the dragon type Pokemon to come back again." Falcon says.
"Did these scientists agree with him?" Link asks.
"… Yes. President Veyser just want the dragon type to come back, but those scientists want dragon type Pokemon in their control. I don't know the reason why they want to take control of a dragon type Pokemon." Falcon says.
Everyone stares at Falcon with an unbelievable face.
"Trust me, everything that I told you is the truth." Falcon says.
"… Falcon, why do you care so much about Tysand?" Midna asks.
"… Because he is my best friend… No… Not just best friend…" Falcon says.
"Hm?" Everyone mumbles.
"… He is my husband." Falcon says. His word shocks everyone.
"What?!" Link says.
"But both of you are male!" Jedi says.
"… It is the time for you to know my true identity…" Falcon says and grabs his chin. Then he starts glowing.
After he stops growing, Falcon is no more there. The one who is standing at the point where Falcon was standing before is another Lugia. But that Lugia has black, ivory wings. Its eyes are as red as blood. Its body is covered in a dragon-scale. It is holding a mask in its left hand and holding an Amethyst Chakram in its right hand.
"You…are…" Everyone says.
"… Some knows me as the Black Angel. Some knows me as the Sorceress of the Darkness. Some knows me as the fiend. And a very few knows me as the Heroine of Wind. My name is Winsol Gale-Norval." Lugia says.
