Naruto couldn't believe that they had returned home. Or at the very least to the apartment from their honeymoon. Personally, he loved the honeymoon, but he was happy to be back home with his wife. 'My wife…' he thought with a small smile. Taking a deep breath, the young man looked over at Hinata as he watched her bring in her suit case toward their bedroom. Now that he thought about it, he wondered if they would need a bigger place now that it was gonna be the two of them for good. Not to mention, the plans for the future with their daughter.

Narrowing his eyes a bit, he couldn't help but wonder. When would it come to be, when Hinata would end up pregnant? Sure, they had sex while away but that was normal. Until he was sure that he wouldn't disappear, he had to make sure that Hinata never ended up pregnant.

He couldn't risk it yet.

Breathing deeply, the young man looked out the window and gave a small smile. Maybe he could bring Hinata back to his parents' home after they unpacked. After all, Hinata did need to get to know his parents as well since they had only met at the wedding. Chuckling to himself, the young man made his way toward the bedroom to unpack his own things.

He turned to Hinata and saw her long hair pulled back in a low ponytail. She wore a simple sun dress that clung to her figure perfectly. Personally, he would have liked it if she wore nothing, but at the moment he wasn't going to complain about it. Chuckling to himself, the young man just smiled happily before he went to unpacking everything from his suitcase. Though for now he kept the books on him. He didn't want Hinata to have any knowledge of the future. Not yet, but so long as he could help it she'll never know anything about their futures.

"Hey, Hinata, I was wondering if you want to be formally introduced to my parents? You know, since you were only introduced at the wedding." Naruto said with a frown, and a tilt of his head. That would give them something else to do other than to just stay around the apartment all day. Hinata just stared at the blonde and crimson haired man for a moment before giving him a bright smile on her face.

Her smile was bright and radiant. That was one way to describe it… and it made his heart beat quickly within his chest. How was he that he could have been so damn lucky to have had someone like Hinata in his life? Someone like her, be so beautiful and wonderful both inside and outside was a mystery to him, but at the same time, he was thankful to have someone like her. Hell, he was thankful to even have her want to be with him in the first place.

"Okay, that sounds like fun." Hinata said with a bright smile on her face. The young man just smiled at her. Yup, he was indeed happy to have Hinata as his wife, his mate. Giving a soft chuckle, the young man set his things aside, maybe he could put his things away later. For now, he could handle to have Hinata in his arms and just hold her before they would go through the portal to his family home.

Tightly shutting his eyes for a brief moment, Naruto whispered "Just, if you seem scared don't be afraid to tell me okay?"

"Why? What would I be afraid of?" Hinata asked with a frown on her face.

"I know you haven't had a lot of good experiences with demons Hinata. So far, Sasuke and I are the only good demons that you have met so far." Naruto whispered softly before he rubbed the back of his neck. He hoped that with the past attacks of demons that Hinata had gone through didn't leave her horrified of demons other than him and Sasuke.

"Don't forget the masked woman, she's helped us a few times." Hinata piped up with a smile on her face. Only for Naruto to sigh, if only she knew that Kazumi was only half-demon and half-human because they, were her parents. Looking up at her, it seems like she hadn't gotten what he was talking about. Naruto was about to open his mouth to speak until Hinata started to giggle gently at him. "Naruto, I know what you meant with that. Don't worry, I'm not scared of all demons. I know, that just like with humans, there are good and bad demons. You don't need to worry about me okay?"

She knew that he was worried about her? Just trying to lightening up the mood for them so he could relax a little. Giving her a soft smile, the young man sighed softly before he walked over to Hinata and wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling her neck. "Have I told you how much I loved you lately?" He whispered gently, only to hear a soft giggle coming from his wife.

"You tell me every day Naruto." Hinata answered with a soft yet gentle smile on her face. Letting out a content sigh, the young man felt like a huge weight was lifted from his heart. Maybe, it had been him that was afraid. Afraid that Hinata would reject the idea of being in the same room as another demon who wasn't himself, or Sasuke. The fear that she would never accept his family or the rest of his kind for all the attacks that had been thrown at her lately. Or, he should say since he came into her life. Now though, that weight was gone, and his heart felt so light in the end.

'I guess, it was really me that was afraid, and not Hinata. Maybe I just wanted to think that it was her that was afraid of my kind, instead of being afraid for her.' he thought to himself before letting out a soft sigh before kissing her cheek.

Naruto took a deep breath as he brought Hinata to his family home. He couldn't help but feel a little nervous though for a different reason. Sure, his parents accepted that he mated and married a human woman, though he still had the small nagging feeling in the back of his head. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, the young man felt like he had, in a way, let his parents down for being with a human. Yet, he knew that he had done what they had always taught him when he would listen to him.

He had followed his heart.

Giving a small smile, Naruto wrapped his arm around Hinata's waist and brought her inside. He couldn't help but chuckle at her awed expression. The mansion was grand and was lined in gold and crimson. A symbol of both his parents' clans that had been combined into one. The floors were decorated with plush red carpet. The walls decorated with paintings of him as a child, his parents when they were younger and of other foxes that he assumed were his ancestors.

The ceiling was adorn with mirrors that would always reflect someone's true form. When he looked up, he saw that he was in his humanoid fox form and just chuckled a little. When he looked at Hinata, he noticed something off about her.

Her figure seemed a little different. 'Odd…' he thought to himself, before he could get a better look, Naruto felt something slam into him, causing him to stumble a bit on his feet before he looked down and saw his mother's red hair. "Hello mom." He smiled more and hugged her for a moment before he felt his mother pull away. Soon, he felt his father patting his shoulder from behind. When did he get there again? Oh yeah, his father's one ability is speed, must have just sped up to stand behind him.

"Hello son." Minato said with a chuckle before both of his parents turned to Hinata. Hinata just blinked at him only to yelp when both of them hugged her. That had been something that she hadn't expected from the two adults but then again, she wasn't going to complain about it in the least. Naruto was just happy that Hinata was alright with his parents hugging her. He had a soft yet content smile on his face as he walked over to his parents as he said "How about we all go sit down? Hinata's never been through the portal so she must be tired."

Both of his parents looked up at Naruto for a moment before nodding and lead everyone to the living room. Just like the hall, it was decorated though instead of a red carpet, it was a golden yellow. The walls were crimson with gold trim. The couch was a plush red pleather. Hinata took a seat on the love seat that was the same red pleather as the couch. Naruto of course took a seat next to her as his parents took the couch.

"So, when do we get grandchildren?" asked Kushina, causing Naruto to blush crimson. Why would she even ask him that?! There was no way to know in the first place because no other human had ever mated with a demon, though he couldn't really speak for Sasuke or Sakura since he had no idea what they did.

"Mom!" shouted Naruto.

"What? I want grandchildren, it's been my dream since you became an adult!" Kushina said with a pout.

"We don't know if we can have children though." Hinata said with a frown on her face. Naruto turned to stare at Hinata with a frown on his face. He knew that they could have children, but he also couldn't let it on that in fact could have children. Reaching over, he held her hand as he kissed her cheek. He saw that Hinata did really want children, though she'll find out at some point that she would be pregnant at some point. Giving a soft and gentle smile, the young man pulled Hinata close as she said "It's hard to say if we could have children." She sighed softly before laying her head on Naruto's shoulder.

"There is always adoption." Minato suggested.

"True, but, maybe we should wait a bit." Hinata said with a smile on her face before looking up at Naruto and kissed his cheek. Causing the young man to blush a bit. Yup, he was lucky to have her in his life. "For now, I'm just happy to enjoy being married to Naruto, that's the only thing I want for now."

He chuckled a bit before pulling her closer to his chest, feeling her heart beating in her chest, it made him feel so alive and happy. For the first time in his life he didn't think that he could feel this content before in his entire life. Though, he knew that he had much to prepare for right now. He would have to tell his father about the upcoming war. That is something that he could at least share because Naruto knew that his father would want to know that his only child, may end up disappearing at this point.

Breathing deeply, the young man leaned against the seat as he said "There are a few things that I want to talk to you about dad. Think we could go into the study?" He tilted his head to the side of his head, hoping that maybe while he was gone, his mother and Hinata could get along.

Minato frowned as he saw the serious look on his face and knew that there would no way that this could wait. Breathing softly, the older man nodded his head as he turned to his own wife and daughter-in-law as he said "Ladies, please excuse us." He chuckled a little as he watched Naruto let go of Hinata and the two older men left to make their way to the study. Though, Naruto knew that his father was rather confused about this but the younger man knew that this had to be done before the war even started. They had to prepare themselves.

Once they arrived to his father's study, Naruto took a seat in front of the desk as he waited for Minato to take his own seat. Minato sighed and took a seat behind the desk. "So son, what is it that you wish to discuss with me." Asked Minato with a frown on his face. Naruto leaned back against his seat as he tried to pick his words carefully. He knew that if he didn't say it properly that he could cause panic unless…

"Dad, I need you to do me a favor before I speak anything of this matter." Naruto said with a soft sigh.

Minato raised an eyebrow as he stared at his son. It seemed that Naruto was serious about this, though he knew that his son must have his reasons. Lowering his eyebrow, the older man asked "What is it Naruto?"

Naruto stared at his father, his stare serious as he stared. Breathing deeply, Naruto rested his elbows on his knees as he said "I need you to swear to me as King of Foxes that you won't repeat this to anyone. That you will never speak a word of this to anyone. Not mom, not even Hinata. I have done all I could to keep this a secret from everyone and I am trusting you because of what will happen if I don't." Minato just stared at his son, rather surprised that his son would speak like this, he couldn't help but smile at him. His son would be a great king when it was his time to retire.

"I promise son, as King, I promise not to speak of this to a soul." Minato promised.

Naruto stared at his father, to see if he spoke the truth. Closing his eyes for a moment, he leaned back and opened his blue eyes. "Okay dad, I have information about an upcoming war. I don't know who it is but I have an idea as to who it is." Minato just stared at his son, his gaze was aghast. "The masked woman, the one that I had mentioned before… she's my daughter from the future. She was sent here to stop her future from happening."

"What future?" asked Minato.

Naruto seemed to freeze for a moment, the young man seemed troubled by what was to be said next. The young man knew that this was going to be tough on anyone, but Naruto knew that he had to do something. Or in this case, something. "Hinata will become pregnant with our daughter in the future. When she is six months along, I will disappear because someone is after me for my power." Minato stared with wide eyes, not sure what he was to say next. Naruto covered his face as he said "I know you and mom locked it away when I was a child to protect me. But…"

"But what son?" Minato asked with a frown on his face.

"My powers have been unlocked, the Poison Demon had a dagger and sliced my skin a little. My powers are slowly awakening." Looking up, he saw the shocked look on his father's face and knew that he had to keep going. "In my daughter's future, I was stabbed and it fully awakened my powers. Not giving my body a chance to really adjust to it and thus, making me lose control over myself. It was how they could control me, but I don't know if they still can since my power hasn't fully awakened yet."

"So, you think there is still a chance on you disappearing when Hinata is pregnant?" Asked Minato.

"I do, and I believe I know who it is that starts the war." Naruto whispered. "I think it's Kuro, since he wanted you to bring me to him for revenge for me killing his son, and you refused he will start the war." Minato leaned back, his hands folded together as he thought about it. It made sense for the war to be caused by this fact. The King knew that he would have to think of something to prepare everyone for the war since normally, they lived in a peaceful time in this place. Now though, he had to prepare himself for a war that was on its way. Yet it did make sense for him in the long run.

"I see son. I'll go prepare the guards for war and try to make a battle plan." He pushed himself up and made his way to Naruto before placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know this had to be hard to let anyone hear this son, but thank you for telling me. I have to start preparing though I know this will be hard to let anyone else know about this. Though what about Hinata?"

"I was gonna have her learn to defend herself. Though I'm gonna ask her if she wants to learn but I hope she'll want to learn some kind of self-defence." With that said, Naruto pushed himself up and started to make his way back to the living room. He just hoped that he would be able to get Hinata to fight to protect herself. If she died, he'd join her in death… Closing his eyes for a moment, he walked through the doorway of the living room and just couldn't help himself as he smiled.

There Hinata was, sitting on the couch with his mother looking at photos. "This is Naruto when he was a baby." Hinata let out an 'awe' before giggling softly. Kushina laughed with her at the photos of Naruto when he was a baby though just stared fondly at the old pictures. "I miss those days when he was a baby."

"He's so small, makes me wonder how he got so big and strong." Hinata said with a smile before leaning on the back of the couch with a bright and cheerful smile on her face. Naruto couldn't help but sigh in content, to him Hinata almost seemed to be glowing with joy.

"Hinata, can I ask you something?" Asked Naruto with a big smile on his face.

"Sure." Hinata smiled at her husband.

"Well, I was wondering if we went to visit your father, and if he'll train you to defend yourself?" He almost half expected her to say no, though he hoped that she would say yes. With the war coming, and him not always around it was best that she could protect herself against other demons.

"Sure." Hinata said with a smile on her face.

Yup, this had just made his heart a lot lighter right now… it would be one less thing to worry about with Hinata. And for that, he was thankful…
