Sometimes you got to show some dark to make the light shine even brighter. Now before you continue reading, please note from me that I do not condone torture, but you'll find out in this chap how dark I went for this. Chapter 38
Salemir's House of Horrors
Previously in the last chapter:
The battle in the factory got underway and Ron and Hermione got to Salemir back at Potter manor we find that Ginny was there but had unexpected company as it was VALE's former leader Phillip. In a struggling battle it left Ginny exhausted. Being pushed by the force of the blast and the shield spell she fell over the railing but Harry caught her just in time. Kamira blaster Phillip out of there and they went to him to find out Salemir's intention and to reveal his whereabouts only to die by the unbreakable vow for revealing Salemir's mansion. Ron and Hermione had Salemir but he blinded them and caused the factory to crumble and burn and everybody left out before the factory exploded leaving the fate of Ron and Hermione unexplained.

Outside The Burning Factory
Harry, Ginny, the Weasleys, Timothy, Kingsley, Jason saw the factory burn wondering if Ron and Hermione had made it out and not stuck in the factory for Harry it was like déjà vu with the warehouse incident. But suddenly Kingsley got a call from an Auror.
"Kingsley! I got Ron and another Auror unconscious. They're okay."
"Where are you?" Kingsley asked.
"In the woods yards away from the factory from the other exit."
"All right."
They all headed to the woods where the Auror was with Ron and the other Auror seconds after reaching them the factory exploded. The explosion was just enough to wake Ron up.
"Ron!" Molly cried. As she hugged him. "I'm so glad you're okay."
"Thanks mom I'm fine." Ron quickly got up.
"Ron are you sure you're okay?" Harry asked.
"Yes Harry, I'm fine." Ron had looked around and saw that Hermione was not there. "Where's Hermione?"
"Was she with him?" Kingsley asked.
"No I only saw him and Ron when I escaped."
Just then the other Auror woke up.
"Oh, Man."
"Are you okay?" The Auror asked.
"Other than the fact I failed to defeat Salemir, I'm okay."
"Salemir escaped?!" Ron and Harry asked.
"Yeah."
"Please, don't tell me he got Hermione!"
"I got out before you Ron. I don't know if he got Hermione or not.
"Well don't worry, we will find out where Hermione is Ron." Kingsley said.
"I know where." Harry said.
"Where?" Ron asked.
"His mansion. While taking Ginny home we came across the original leader: Phillip who almost put Ginny in the hospital again. He told us where it is before he died."
"How did he die?" Kingsley asked.
"By the unbreakable vow."
"You need to ban that as well." Ginny added.
"A new law I'll add to after this is done and over with." Kingsley said agreeing. As they were about to head off to the Forbidden Forest, Draco apparated near them.
"Weasley!" Draco yelled.
"Malfoy, what brings you here?" Ron replied.
"Returning the favor. Salemir has placed a whole bunch of spells around his island mansion. But me, Astoria and my parents had disarmed all but two spell force fields."
"Which two are those?"
"One which lets him know about any wizard intruders the moment they break through. And the other in which I will warn you; the carpet will not help as it will be plunging to the water. Only way there is to swim."
"Okay thanks."
"Well Draco, did you see Salemir?" Harry asked.
"Yes, but I'll leave you to confront Salemir. I'd say it, but Ron will need the energy."
For Draco to say that, Ron didn't need Draco to go any further. Salemir has indeed kidnapped Hermione.
In Hermione's dream she was still waiting along with Ron in her parents' time share. Until they heard from Harry and Ginny that Salemir has been caught and was put in Azkaban for life. So no longer will they have to live at that time share. But back in reality it was the evening and Salemir was at his mansion in which along the way, he did a spell to moon proof his building for the case that if the moon shines he would not turn into a werewolf. He looked at Hermione's wand in disgust and dropped it on the floor. He looked at his brother's portrait and had an angry look to his face.
Not to worry Fenrir I'll make sure I drive your murderer to insanity.
Salemir then he started making his way down flights of stairs to his secret dungeons. When he got to the dungeons, he looked around at his torture rooms which had different things in the form of torture. Any other time he would have used one of these rooms for Hermione but he suddenly arrived at a dungeon room where Hermione is and Hermione was still unconscious.
The sun was almost gone and Harry, Ron and Ginny along with Bill, Fluer, George, Angelina, Lio, Cho, Kingsley, Molly, and Arthur were at the shore of the forbidden forest.
"Draco said the only way there is to swim." Ron said. "Flying will get you shot down."
Harry looked at Cho and Lio. "You know you guys didn't have to be here."
"I know." Cho added.
"But think about it, you would probably need more man power to find rooms and it cuts time." Lio added.
"Of course. Well, with the wizard intrusion barrier up. We can't get there undetected." Harry said.
"Which is why I needed to come." Cho said. "And of course it was important to learn the animagus spell."
"Thank God for that." Ron replied.
"Lio, at this point you will see something cool." Harry said. before they transformed, George, Bill, and Ron, Angelina, Fluer, Ginny, and Harry. hugged Molly and Arthur.
"Be careful, dears." Molly said.
"We will." they said, and pretty much they all soon transform into animals in their respective patronus, except for George he transformed into a coyote reverting his patronus back from the hyena. Angelina transformed into a cheetah. after the transformation, Lio was shocked and surprised for he though it was as Harry predicted: cool.
"Engorgio!" Kingsley shouted and Cho who was a swan had grown to be 15 times bigger than her normal size as a swan just huge enough for everybody to fit.
"Ready?" Harry asked in which they all agree they all got on Cho and Cho swam off to the island. Midway there Cho was coming across three huge wooden stands and had realized they were now crossing where they had the second task for the Triwizard Tournament. This began to affect Cho, Harry, and Fluer.
"Are you okay Fluer?" Bill asked.
"I'll be fine." Fluer said. Lio wondered what was going on.
"Any idea what happened here?"
"Yeah." Harry replied. "Here is where we had a task which was part of a deadly tournament known as the Triwizard Tournament.
"What were the wooden stands for?"
"For the crowd to watch as we had to rescue someone from underwater."
"Cedric had to save me." Cho said.
"I had to save my sister Gabrielle." Fluer replied. "But Harry saved her when I couldn't. I was afraid I would lose her."
"And I had to save Ron. Also another was with us. Viktor Krum he had to save Hermione."
"Harry..." Ron said as he don't want to hear it as they cross the lake.
"Sorry Ron."
"If it was a Triwizard Tournament, why were there four of you? For a tri it means three." Lio asked.
"Because a death eater by the name of Barty Crouch Junior, placed my name in the tournament entry goblet which had a levitational flame known as the goblet of fire."
"Cedric was chosen first. But Barty jinxed the goblet so Harry could share the champion title." Cho replied.
Soon enough they had now crossed the small island where Dumbledore's grave was, and Harry had looked at it for a while before looking away. Cho who was still looking forward finally had Salemir's house in sight.
"We're here."
"Finally." Ron sighed. As he will soon be there charging in to find and rescue Hermione. When they got to the island and they all got off Cho it was soon nighttime and the sun was gone and the full moon was out in which Ron looked at.
"Oh no, Hermione!"
Ron rushed to the mansion as did Harry and Ginny. While converting to human form. Bill and George converted back to human and brought Cho back to normal size before she converted back to human. Once Fluer and Angelina had converted back to human, they all had went to the house and broke inside.
Meanwhile Hermione had just woke up to find herself bound with her hands over her head and she was wearing her work attire rather than the clothes she usually had on as she looked around she found herself in the center of a decent spaced room with nothing but walls and a ceiling window in which spotlighted her. Salemir soon appeared in make up in which glow in the dark probably to try and make Hermione fear her. However it only worked for a little bit she wasn't much afraid yet. But Salemir began to walk in circles around her. After he was done he was a good distance away from her before he pulled out his wand in which he conjured as a whip.
"It's time to play my favorite game. Well, it's a game I play with all my victims. It's called 'how long before you fear?' While you were sleeping like a dirty baby I had the pleasure of invading your mind. And I think I found your weakness."
Salemir let a lash near Hermione's foot which Hermione was too quick to dodge but she knew she was in trouble.
Ron where are you?
"Hoping that Ron would come Hermione? Yes I can also read your mind. Don't worry your hopes for Ron to come will end in ruin. And if he does come I will make sure he watches how helpless you'll be when you enjoy the pain of my torture for my pleasure, as justice for killing my brother!" Salemir whipped Hermione on her side and it stung her good, she let out a scream. "But not to worry, I'm not going to go werewolf on you. Without your wand or your family and friends you're just another filthy mudblood."
With the wave of his wand the ceiling suddenly closed and it was suddenly pitch black in that room. And Salemir's whip as well as his makeup emitted light. Noticing how Salemir had now became more scarier in the dark, Hermione was now afraid of him, and Salemir knew it.
"If you was afraid of this, just you wait, I'll defile you gently even though you deserve worst."
Salemir took his wand and suddenly Hermione only had on a black bra as the rest of the clothes ripped apart. He suddenly got behind Hermione. Salemir could hear Hermione whimpering.
"Welcome to your nightmare Hermione. May it drive you to insanity."
And the torture began with Salemir whipping Hermione as her screams echoed across the entire room.
The group walked into a huge lobby with a long staircase to the next floor and there were many rooms to look in.
"Hermione!" Ron shouted as there was no one to answer back.
"Hominium revelio!" Harry shouted to reveal that no one was there.
"Harry, you better not led us all here on a wild goose chase!" Ron said.
"Maybe she's not in these rooms but one of them must have some secret room or something."
"Okay well let's split up." Angelina suggested. And they did. Ron, Bill, Fluer, Cho and Lio went upstairs while, Harry, Ginny, George, and Angelina. Searched downstairs. They checked the study, the library, the kitchen, but there was nothing. But Harry and Ginny came across something on the living room table: Hermione's clothes. Harry and Ginny approached them.
"Hermione must be here Harry, there's no way he could leave these here and take her someplace else." Ginny said.
"Yeah but let's get everybody."
"Guys come here!" Ginny yelled and everybody had went to the living room, except for Ron, he suddenly came across a room which was Salemir's Master Bedroom and looked and saw Hermione's wand there he quickly unlocked the room and went inside once he got in he was going to pick up Hermione's wand and leave until Fenrir's picture started laughing. Ron was in no mood to be teased, mocked or laughed at. He took his wand along with Hermione's and shot a spell at the portrait and it fell instantly. After that the bed lifted up in which there was a button as soon as he pressed it a secret passage was shown and Ron went down there.
Back in the dungeon Hermione was on her kness and her hands was still above her crying at the pain she received from her torturer but Salemir wasn't finished yet. Next he had a metal glove which conducted electricity. He placed his hand on Hermione's body with that glove, and sent decent shocks through her body. She soon was lying down and that's when Salemir leaned down and got very close to her, his body wasn't touching hers, but it was just inches away from her body. Salemir enjoyed the sobs she gave out. Hermione looked away from him, she couldn't bear to see another man hovering over him when it should be Ron in the image of her and Ron making love.
Ron come save me please!
Salemir leaned down until he was centimeters at her ear in which he decide whispering into it.
"It's no use Hermione, either way he has failed you. And even if you manage to become sane again, just remember, no matter what you do that makes you happy, no matter how hard you try to forget me, I will always be in your mind. Even after my death, I'll always be in your mind."
Salemir got up and with his wand he turned Hermione around on her stomach, and with his whip along with the electric glove he began to whip Hermione on her back yet again as she kept screaming as loud as the last time.
Meanwhile Harry, Ginny and the rest of the group was still searching in the living room for a way for some secret passage to be opened where it could hopefully lead to Hermione.
"Ron! Ron! Where are you?" Harry yelled.
"Where could he be?" George asked as well.
"Could he still be upstairs?" Fluer asked.
"Maybe, could you guys get Ron?" Harry asked Cho and Lio.
"Sure Harry." Cho said as they quickly rushed upstairs and saw that Salemir's bedroom was and the secret passage still open.
"Ron?" Lio yelled to see if Ron responded but then it hit him. "Cho, suppose Ron found the secret passage to Hermione? Should we get Harry?"
"No. Because this could be a trap and a dead end. And if all of us get stuck down there that's it."
"Well let's just see where this leads first."
They both went down there to see where it lead after going a first flight down the secret passage closed.
"There's no turning back now." Lio said as they continued to travel down the stairs.
Ron was already down there checking through every door looking for Hermione, until he got to the dungeon in which Salemir kept Hermione he saw Salemir walking in circles over Hermione, who lied there very still yet her eyes were still open and tears fell from her face loosely. Ron could not believe to think that she's dead yet but he couldn't believe the state that Hermione was in.
"So beautiful, yet filthy. So innocent, yet murderous. I hoped for your husband to come so he can watch in despair how helpless and submissive you were but I guess I will have to tell him how you begged for him to come but he never did."
Ron was angry. But instead of breaking in the door he used his wand to unlock the door. And gently he went in. Salemir was a bit surprised but angry.
"How did you get here, and more importantly how did you undetected?!" Salemir asked.
"How did we get here? Your bitter enemy Phillip told my brother-in-law about this sick, demented place! How without being detected? Draco. Even when he could have left me to find out how to get to you, he helped out when you had your flunkies trying to kill his family. While you've spent your time on us, Draco disarmed most of your barriers only to leave your favorite: The wizard intrusion alarm barrier. Thank God I learned how to become an Animagus." Ron looked at Hermione and back at Salemir. "What have you done to my wife?"
At that point Salemir had laughed very wickedly yet soon maniacally as is he was waiting for Ron to say that.
"I made sweet love to her. And man, was she amazing."
Ron's eyes shot wide open at the words of Salemir's lie. As if he was in the same state as Hermione. He felt like he failed her and that she was soon soiled by the very man Ron now made as his mortal enemy. For Ron, Salemir was his Voldemort. As soon as Salemir calmed down he placed his foot on Hermione's stomach.
"But don't worry I didn't make the mudblood into a werewolf."
The mudblood insult wasn't needed for Ron to snap, it was when Salemir placed his boot on top of his wife's body. Luckily Cho and Lio was there and saw who was in there. They arrived just mere seconds before Ron drew his wand from his jacket like if it was a western showdown and fired at Salemir. Salemir wasn't quick to pull out his wand and he got hit with the spell which sent him back to a wall, but not hard enough. Ron charged at him as he shot another spell to stun him, once Ron got to him, he went non-magic on Salemir, punching him like if he was a punching bag.
"Has Ron gone mad?" Cho asked. But Ron threw Salemir across another side of the room.
"He's mad." Lio replied.
As Ron charged to Salemir ready to pummel Salemir, Salemir shot a stunning spell at Hermione as if she wasn't already. but all that did was anger Ron more Ron was suddenly in rage. and kept on with the punishing, Salemir fired another stunning spell at Hermione in which Ron got even angrier and had picked Salemir up and slammed him to the ground.
"What should we do?" Lio asked.
"What do you mean?" Cho replied.
"We go to calm Ron down or at least get Hermione out of there!"
"I know! But we don't know if we can get in!"
Lio tried opening the door and it opened as soon as it did Cho did a spell for traps and they both rushed in. Ron was still beating Salemir to kingdom come, but when Salemir shot a spell at Cho and Lio which missed Lio by a centimeter, they looked at the wall and saw a decent line, in which was sharply cut signaling for it to be Sectumsempra. Salemir looked at Lio and got angry as he now fought back and Ron was soon enough fighting like his life and Hermione's depended on it. As Lio, watched the battle Cho quickly maximized the protection barrier until she broke through Hermione's bonds. During the battle Salemir was harmed by Cho's protective shield while Ron didn't, and at some point, Salemir shot the sectumsempra at her barrier and it caused it to weaken, Ron gave them time to free Hermione by disarming him, and Cho had freed Hermione from the bonds.
"All right Cho, let's get out of here. Ron, kick his demented ass!"
Cho dispelled the barrier and left with Lio carrying Hermione. Salemir was about to shoot another Sectumsempra spell at Lio but Ron used his wand as a whip to grab Salemir's wand arm and pulled the hand away from pointing at Lio's direction, to another wall in which the spell fired. Then Ron pulled his arm towards him with force in which Salemir dropped his wand. Ron gave Salemir a knee to the gut making Salemir keel for a bit, This gave Ron just enough time to use the bombardment spell on Salemir's wand destroying it. After that, Ron looked at Salemir as if he was ready to kill him.
Meanwhile in a dark corridor Cho and Lio got to the staircase. And saw some of the stairs but the rest was pitch black Cho shot the sunlight spell and still nothing was at the other end.
"Great! What now?"
"Lio looked around for some kind of mechanism or something but yet he came across a sign with dial and a lock."
"'To open the hatch turn the dial to open and unlock the lock.'"
Cho turned the dial and unlocked the lock with her wand. Back in Salemir's main lobby, Harry and Ginny were still calling for Ron. But Bill, Fluer, George, and Angelina regrouped close to the stairs.
"You guys see Ron or Hermione?" George asked.
"No and I think we lost Cho and Lio." Harry said as they were about heading downstairs. But suddenly the bottom half of the stairs rapidly fell and Harry and Ginny stopped just before they fell. Harry and Ginny slid down the railing and appeared in front as they all had their wands out pointing to the new passage as they heard steps but only to emerge from the passage was Lio with Hermione and Cho.
"What happened to Hermione?" Ginny asked horrified.
"She was tortured and she's unconscious." Lio said.
"Was she..."
"I'm not sure Harry. But right now Hermione is still alive." Lio said cutting off Harry's sentence before he could think of what the worst could be.
"Where's Ron?" Bill asked.
"He should still be downstairs with Salemir." Cho said.
"Hopefully kicking his ass. But quickly get to him before he kills Salemir." Lio replied.
Harry, Ginny, George, and Bill. Went down there as Lio, Cho, Fluer, and Angelina was still there.
"You can put her down now." Angelina said.
"Are you sure? You want me to put Hermione on the floor in the house of one sick demented criminal? I mean no disrespect to your family but if it was my wife, I wouldn't mind who held her as long as she wasn't on the floor of an enemy's house."
"I know William would be pissed if I was lying down on these floors." Fluer replied.
"Understood. But at least close her eyes." Angelina ordered but before anybody could, Cho has made a link to the ministry from the fireplace and Kingsley, Jason and 5 other Aurors came in.
"What's the status?" Kingsley asked.
"Hermione's unconscious. And Ron is with Salemir." Cho said.
"Jason you and the others dispel this entire place."
"You got it." Jason said and soon later through the front door, Timothy came with the ambulance.
"I don't know why, but somehow I figured ambulance was needed."
"Anybody need assistance?" A doctor asked.
"Yes, this one." Lio said.
"Our sister-in-law!" Angelina said.
"What seems to be the problem?"
"She was tortured and assaulted. We don't know what more she suffered."
"Okay how long has she's been like this?"
"More than 1 hour." Lio said.
"Okay, we got to move her."
They left with Hermione out to the ship in which they had. Lio and Cho went back with the doctors to go back to Ned who's at the hospital, and Timothy was helping out with the other Aurors to dispel the entire house.
Meanwhile back in that same dungeon, the battle has once again become one sided, because Ron was now swinging Salemir from his neck from one wall to another like if he was a pinball. And when Salemir got close Ron would punch him but when Salemir was close to him this time, Ron Kicked him and Salemir had hit the wall hard. When the punishing was done Salemir was clearly a bruised rag doll with a bloody mouth. But throughout all that, Salemir let out a small chuckle.
"Heh. Heh. Heh. Hope you can live with a tainted wife, Ronald Weakley."
Ron had gotten sick and tired of Salemir disrespecting the Weasley name. So he resorted back to Punching him. But he only got 7 blows in before Harry, Ginny, Bill, and George. Got to the dungeon and decided to incarcerate Ron.
"Let... Me... GO!"
"Ron calm down!" Harry yelled.
"Yeah, you've done enough!" George asked.
"Yeah... You've done enough... Weakley. Listen to your family Weakleys."
"YOU'LL PAY DEARLY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY WIFE SALEMIR!"
"Really? Like what you did wasn't your best?"
"Ron, Enough!" Bill said. "Right now Hermione needs you."
"Hermione."
Ron left and went to tend to Hermione if the ship hasn't left. George and Bill and Harry and Ginny has left the dungeon. Once back up, they got to Kingsley and the group as Angelina and Fluer hugged their husbands.
"Where's Salemir?" Kingsley asked.
"Down there." Harry said.
"We will have to wait until the morning to move him. It's a full moon out."
"Okay. We go to see Hermione at the hospital."
Just then Salemir was screaming again and everybody wanted to know why. But Harry looked around and realized something as well: Ginny was missing.
"Ginny..."
*flashback*
Everybody left out of the dungeon and was at the stairs but Ginny did not walk up those stairs she left to go back to the dungeon.
*End Flashback*
"Ginny!" Harry shouted as he went back down there. He along with Kingsley, Jason, Timothy and the Aurors went back and saw Ginny place a huge cloud of bat bogey hexes on Salemir. Harry got to Ginny.
"Ginny stop!" Harry Yelled.
"Not yet!" Ginny replied. "Now I wan't him to suffer."
"Ginny, I'm gonna have to order you to stop!" Kingsley ordered.
It took seconds before Ginny responded.
"Fine." Ginny lifted the hex and started to leave.
"Your Bat Bogey hex is a joke! Just like your family."
In Ginny's mind she wants to lunge at Salemir and beat the hell out of him yet Harry felt like doing the same thing. But they promised Kingsley and was about to leave.
"The funny thing is Salemir, I'm glad your brother's dead. because I can finally say that you will never be like your brother."
Salemir got angry as they left, leaving him with the Aurors and Timothy who decided to invade his mind.
Hours later, Harry and Ginny got to the hospital as they joined the family waiting for the result and status of Hermione Granger Weasley.
