There's not many thing that Tsuna hide.
He is a person that like to share everything with his family, likely his mother (and not his father of course, since that man never coming home) , and hide everything from strangers. When Reborn come, he instantly shut himself off. Reborn, although had the appearance of baby, could be very much frightening. And maybe it was because of his Hyper Intuition, but somehow Tsuna could sense the danger.
It took time, but Tsuna managed to open his shell. One by one his family increased and he opened his true self.
He didn't have many secret, but he do have one thing that he didn't tell his family.
One secret that he will keep until the day he die.
-A month after the Representative Battle of the Rainbow-
"So, Tsunayoshi-kun, you figure it all by yourself, hmn?" Kawahira mused softly as he looked up from his tea. Tsuna smiled grimly at the white haired man. He nodded and sat in front of the man. Tsuna sighed as he leaned back on the chair.
"So, what I need to do?" He asked finally after long silence surround them. Kawahira stared at the scared teen. So young, yet so powerful. The burden that the young boy brought upon himself was far greatest that many powerful man that he had ever seen in his very long life. And he could hold his weight, which undoubtedly unbelievable.
"Are you sure about it?" Kawahira asked again. Tsuna smiled, determined than ever. He stared unblinkingly at Kawahira as his eyes glowing amber.
"Kawahira-san, you should know that it's impossible for me to reject it. When I win from Bermuda, The pacifier has choose me immediately. I could feel the connection with it even if Uni was the one who was wearing it." Tsuna explained. "The other pacifier also has chosen their successor. And should I did not break the chain, we would become an Arcobaleno then, and Reborn would die.While I don't know about their opinion, their power actually wasn't need as much as the sky. If you asked me, am I sure? Yes, for them I would do anything."
Kawahira nodded.
"You... you are the first person the pacifier has chosen." Kawahira stated. Tsuna stared unblinkingly. Confusion entering his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"You know about the Vongola Ring and Mare Ring right?Their history and all?" Kawahira asked back. Tsuna nodded.
"Long time ago, when the Tri-ni-sette first formed, I gave the Vongola Ring to Giotto because he has been chosen by the ring itself while the Mare Ring was given to Sephira to hold dan I become the administrator of the Arcobaleno. It was also the first circle the Arcobaleno was chosen. In fact, Bermuda and Jaegar was the first Arcobalenosetthat I choose." Kawahira said. Tsuna stared at Kawahira with blank face. He had no idea about that.
"Sephira, while holding the Mare Ring was not the true owner of it. When Byakuran was born and his power was activated, The Mare Ring chose him and the ownership was moved to Byakuran."
"In the other hand, Arcobaleno Pacifier is a special set because it always change holder, however it never choose it true owner." Kawahira said matter of fact. He pointed at Tsuna. "You are the true owner of the Arcobaleno Pacifier that The Pacifier has choose."
Tsuna stared. The feeling of dread come to him again. It was like the battle all over again, like when they come to the future and found the situation was so horrifying, or found out that the Vindice interfere with the battle, but it was more worse that before. More more worse.
"And what is that mean?" Tsuna asked quietly. Kawahira sighed before he stared back at Tsuna, eyes hard and voice like steel.
"That's mean Tsunayoshi-kun, that you could control the other Tri-ni-sette power to some extent." Tsuna widened his eyes as dawning horror come to his face. "Arcobaleno is supposed to be the Balance after all."
"You look more worried than I thought you would." Bermuda commented. Checkerface stared back at Bermuda and sighed. He put away his alter ego, and rubbed his forehead. He had a bad feeling about this. And he didn't like it at all.
"I remembered some chat that I have with Tsunayoshi-kun few years ago." He answered truthfully. Both of them watched as Irie Shouichi and Spanner plus Giannini with the help of Verde tried to make the gate open once again. The tension in the room was thick. He, Bermuda and Yuni was there, watching the mechanics work themselves out.
"And I hope." Kawahira said as a black portal slowly formed in the middle of the machine. Collective relieved sighs were heard around the room. "That we are not late."
"We need to find Tsunayoshi." Mukuro said seriously. Giotto stared at the mist with bemusement across his face.
"Their target would likely Tsunayoshi." Mukuro elaborated. Face contorted in silent rage. Giotto widened his eyes as understanding dawned in. His face become serious as he started to light up his flame and face stared at the sky, prepared to fly.
"We should find him as fast as we can Primo. I'm afraid that I can't tell you why, however we need to find him as fast as we can. If, if he was captured." Mukuro silent stopped before stared at Giotto more serious that he ever seen him. "If he was captured, I'm afraid we will face hell." Mukuro cautioned. Giotto widened his eyes and nodded in understanding before proppeled to the sky. Mukuro stared at the flying blonde before he also dissipated inside his mist, mind whirled on different thought and possibility.
He has a boss to find.
"They are multiply." Tsuna deadpanned. Xanxus snorted, accidentally heard his grumbled while Fon nodded in his serenely way. Reborn stared, irritated at the approaching enemies that had yet to end.
"Where the hell they found this many people anyway? They just don't stop popping up!" Tsuna said frustrated. He ducked as a bullet passed him and punch the one responsible to oblivion. Beside him, Xanxus started to shoot with his destructive power while Fon managed to took down some number of them. Tsuna stared at the storm in wonder. How the heck did he managed to look like he dance even if his way is brutal?
"Reborn?" He wondered when he realized that there were no kind of Chaos on Reborn side. He turned around wandering where the chaos sun had gone but found No one.
"Fon? Xanxus?" He thought aloud and realized the mist that start to surround him. What?
"Hey, guys? Where are you?" He shouted. The mist getting thicker and he could feel the strange effect it brought to him. He feel the danger alarm inside his head as his Hyper Intuition started to blaring with obvious urgency.
"Sleep."
The voice was like a whisper of wind. He would ignored it if not for the fact he felt another presence inside the mist.
"Who are you? Where am I? Where is my friends?" Tsuna asked aloud. He could feel his body weaken, his stamina ran out and his eyes started to close. Black spots danced on his vision before his knee buckles and he crashed to the ground.
"Sleep tight. You'll be alright."
And blackness consume him.
Reborn was annoyed. He sure he was standing very close to his beloved student when all of sudden the enemies stopped attacking him. He narrowed his eyes at the thought that maybe the enemies retreated. But it was a fool thing to think. Then he realized that he didn't hear anything except his own breathing and the wind blowing. He didn't heard his student voice and sarcastic comment before the enemies stopped attacking. He turned around and his face set in grim line.
He was alone and there was no one behind him. No. Tsuna, Xanxus and Fon. Three which obviously would following him. He pocketed his gun and strode to the clearing he was sure would be where they were.
When he reached it, he didn't like what he see. Yes, he found the others, Xanxus and Fon. Both of them still fighting so happily yet he could tell from their expression that they too felt something was wrong.
"Where's Tsuna?" He asked. Fon furrowed his brows. Xanxus grunted as he blasted off another enemy.
"I thought he was with you. We didn't feel he follow us." Fon stated. His eyes started to looks worried. Reborn clicked his tounge in annoyance. He stared at his surrounding when he didn't feel enemies anymore.
"Let's go. We need to find him." He said. Fon nodded while Xanxus just strode over him. Reborn pulled his fedora down. He was pissed and annoyed. And when he annoyed, hell will down.
Byakuran, the other Byakuran and Sephira stared at each other in sync. They could feel it, very faint and demanding. It called them, at the same time. They understood although they didn't know how.
"What is that?" Byakuran asked. The other Byakuran frowned in contemplation. Sephira stared unblinkingly as her eyes glazed over.
"This bond, this is my bond with my Tsunayoshi-kun. How could you feel them?" The other Byakuran scowled in frustration. Byakuran stared at his other self before turned to Sephira who was seems to be having another vision.
"Tsunayoshi is in danger." He said monotonously. Byakuran and his counterpart self stared at each other in alarm.
"In danger? What do you mean, Sephria?" The other Byakuran asked. They watched as her eyes cleared and she stared at both of them.
"They target from what I see and I conclude is not this mansion." Sephira started. "They didn't targeted the Vongola rings nor the Mare rings. What they've been aiming all this time is Tsunayoshi of other world. And since both our world's Tsunayoshi and your world's Tsuayoshi is in the same body, that's mean both of them." Sephira explained.
Byakuran furrowed his brows. "Why? Didn't they knew that the only person that could pulled out the true power of Mare rings is me. Shouldn't he targeting me for that?"
"Yes, but he also need the arcobaleno pacifier. And since the pacifier itself is the balance, the set is more valuable than the other. If you could control it, the other would be easier." Sephira explained. "However, it seems that they also did not target the sky pacifier as I am here and there's no enemies that trying to take me or kidnap me or attempted to steal it."
"That's... strange." Byakuran summed up.
"But then, what could make him stop his assult and just... like that?" He asked again.
"...He didn't stop." The other Byakuran said slowly. His mind whirled on different situation and different possibility. There's one, that sound impossible because only him, Checkerface, Tsuna and Mukuro that know about that fact, but the most possible outcome right now. But... it couldn't be right? It couldn't be that the other Chekerface know about this right?
"He is being controlled by Checkerface counterpart self. Since that day, he was never want to betray any of us. He didn't want to betray me. He know that Dominico is my best friend, one of them, and he took advantage of it. It could be possible that he also investigated everything about me, maybe even my past."
The other Byakuran snapped his head as one of the most earlier conversation come up.
"There's a possibility." He said faintly. He ignored the confused Sephira and the calculating gaze Byakuran send him in favor for extending his flame beyond his limit. He could feel the rain, the sun, the arcobaleno, Ryohei, Kyoya, the first generation, Giotto, Xanxus, Fon and Reborn. But no Tsuna. Nothing. Nowhere on his range.
His eyes narrowed as feeling of dread pooled on the depth of his stomach.
"There's a possibility." He repeated his words. Face grim as he stared back at Sephira and Byakuran.
"What?"
"One person that could control both Vongola Ring and The Arcobaleno Pacifier, the last two tri-ni-sette, and could to some extent control the power of Mare Ring." The other Byakuran explained slowly. Byakuran and Sephira stared at Byakuran other self with widened eyes.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi."
"But-No one can control Mare Ring except us!" Byakuran subjected.
"Yes true, not until the pacifier of our world, choose Tsuna as it's right owner. For the first time." The older Byakuran said. Sephira gasped. Byakuran stared at the sky arcobaleno in alarm.
"The pacifier is a sentinel being, the watcher, the guardian, and most of all the Balance. For it to choose someone..."
"Yes, that's mean, Tsuna has managed to gained Tri-ni-sette's approval and thus, that make him, to some extent, could control the tri-ni-sette power." The other Byakuran said as he stared at both of them. "That, include the Mare Ring."
