The Road Ahead
Minako looked at the captain as if she was registering what she was told. Her body had gone into shock mode and she didn't know how to process the information at first. She looked back down at her charts, going down the list until she saw the pregnancy blood test that read positive, "I'm pregnant…?" she repeated quietly, Captain Unohana nodding with a soft smile on her face. Minako looked over at Jushiro who looked just as surprised as she did.
"Yes. I did an ultra sound in the examination room while Jushiro was waiting in the waiting room just to confirm the results and took measurements. I determined you were eight weeks and four days along, just starting your third month." she explained to her, Minako opening her mouth but Retsu held her hand up, sitting down on the edge of the bed, "I know what you're going to ask. The baby looks perfectly healthy. He or she is about the size of a kidney bean and is developing just fine." she said, her reassuring words making Minako visibly relax, "Even so, I do recommend you going on light bed rest until you begin your second trimester at thirteen weeks. Just to be safe." she told her, Minako nodding to her, "Other than that you seem to be perfectly fine and once you finish this round of fluids you're free to return home." she said to her, taking the charts back to write something down and then she stood back up, "Congratulations Minako. Come by next week and we can do a formal check up and start your pre-natal care." she instructed her, smiling to Jushiro before she took her leave, closing the door behind her.
Minako was silent for a little while after Unohana left, Jushiro moved to her side, sitting down on the bed with a soft smile, "I'm really pregnant…" she whispered, one of her hands reaching down to lay atop her lower stomach. A few moments later Jushiro's larger hand laid atop hers and she looked over at him to see him smiling at her.
He nodded, curling his fingers around hers on her stomach, "You're really pregnant…" he repeated in a quiet murmur, Mink's lips slowly curling into a smile as tears brimmed her eyes. She tipped her head back against the pillows and she took a deep breath.
"Oh gods… I never even realized… I hadn't had my period since I miscarried… I just thought it was my body going through the healing process… I didn't even pay attention." she said, looking at her husband who was just smiling at her. Her heart was racing in her chest, everything making since. What she thought were colds and short stomach bugs, the dizziness, the nausea was actually her body in the early stages of pregnancy. She didn't even realize she was crying until she felt his fingers brushing her tears away.
Jushiro leaned over to kiss her softly on the lips, running his fingers through her hair, "I love you…" he told her, sitting with her on the bed until Unohana came back to disconnect the Iv and the monitors, giving her vitamins and other things to start her at home pre-natal care. When she was discharged, she began to walk outside until Jushiro scooped her up into his arms, making her give a little squeak and a giggle before she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and let him carry her home. With Minako at Squad Four resting Jushiro had taken Sakura to Tokinei's home for her to watch her. After getting home, he placed Minako back onto her feet and opened the door so they could go inside.
She walked into the living room area and she sat down on the couch, nipping her lip as she placed her hands on her stomach, "I still can't believe it…" she whispered as Jushiro sat down beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. He noticed she looked deep in thought and he placed his free hand on her thigh.
"What's on your mind? You look troubled." he said quietly, Minako taking a shaky breath as tears spilled down over her cheeks once more and then she looked at him with worried eyes.
"I just… keep thinking about Yuki… what if it happens again…? What if I lose this baby too? I couldn't bear it." she whimpered quietly, Jushiro frowning as he pulled her close to him, wrapping his arms around her as she laid her head on his shoulder, taking in his comforting scent that smelled of his natural musk and sandalwood. He stroked her hair with one of his hands as he rocked her, knowing part of her tears were probably her hormones but he could understand her fears. It worried him too but he knew he needed to be strong for her.
"I honestly can't answer that Minako… All we can do is pray to the gods and put our trust in Retsu to help us and just hope that this baby feels nice and safe and stays put." he murmured, kissing her forehead softly, "And I'll be here to help in any way possible. I'll be here every step of the way." he said to her, making her smile softly as she glanced up at him. It really comforted her to hear that. She knew she could count on him.
Reaching up to cup his cheek, she leaned up a little bit so she could kiss him, "I know you will… and I love you for it…" she said back to him, returning her head to his shoulder as she curled up beside him, "So… do you want a boy or a girl?" she asked out of the blue which made him chuckle softly, "I kind of want a boy…"
He raised an eyebrow and smiled at her when she voiced her preference, "A boy? A boy sounds nice. I'm perfectly content with either. A boy would give us an even number." he mused, making her smile as they sat there together on the couch. He honestly was fine with either. As long as the baby was healthy and Minako had a smooth pregnancy he didn't mind which it was. Already Minako was imagining different scenarios. Would the baby be a boy or a girl? Who would it look like? If the baby had Jushiro's hair would it be black or white from his Tuberculosis? All the possibilities were flowing through her mind and she was feeling all sorts of emotions. Excitement, nervousness, worry, all those and more were going through her mind. She knew that there was nothing to do but keep up with her appointments, take her vitamins and just keep her stress levels down and not do anything too strenuous.
A few hours later Tokinei brought Sakura back home and the coupe told her the news. Of course Tokinei was excited, especially considering what happened just a few months prior. She squealed and spent some time with Minako talking about the good news and then returned home just before dinner, leaving Jushiro and Minako with their daughter. Once dinner was over Jushiro helped get Sakura bedded down and carried the sleepy toddler to her room while Minako put the dished in the sink. She dried her hands off and made her way to Sakura's room, blinking when she heard Jushiro talking in a soft voice. She peeked inside Sakura's room to see Jushiro walking around with a drowsy Sakura in his arms, her cheek on his shoulder, "Mommy's gonna have a little boy or girl… Isn't that exciting? You're gonna have a baby brother or sister." he crooned softly, pressing a kiss to her little forehead. Once she was settled, Jushiro slowly laid her down in her crib and pulled the blanket up around her, "Good night." he whispered to her before straightening up, turning to head out of the bedroom when he saw Minako standing there smiling. He smiled back at her and he closed the door to Sakura's room, "She's asleep. She didn't fight it this time." he said, making her chuckle as they both headed to their bedroom.
Sighing quietly, Minako walked inside and headed for the bathroom, Jushiro following after her. She took her jewelry off and placed them on the little tray she had on the dresser and reached down to untie her obi when she felt Jushiro's strong arms wrap around her from behind, making her smile. His lips pressed against the crook of her neck in little kisses, Minako breathing out a soft moan as she tipped her head to the side, "I'm going to take a shower. Care to join me?" she asked him softly as her eyes fluttered closed, feeling her obi loosening from his hands softly tugging at it.
"I was about to suggest the same thing." he said as her obi fell loose in his hands and he let it slide to the floor, his fingers opening her shihakusho to slide up her sides, continuing to kiss her neck which made her moan softly.
She turned around to face him, placing her hands on his chest as she smiled up at him, "Mnnn then what are we waiting for?" she asked with a smirk, leaning up to kiss him softly on the lips while their hands went to work on undressing one another. His fingers hooked into her pants to slowly push them down her legs and she was quick to get his shirt off him, her fingers playing down his muscular chest and stomach and soon along his definition lines until they reached his pants which she pushed down along with his briefs, "Much better…" she whispered with a smirk to which he returned with one of his own while his hands pushed her panties down, one hand slowly running up her back and into her hair where he pulled the ribbon to release the ponytail it was in. He slowly began to move, pressing her back until she felt her back gently hit the wall, Jushiro's kiss becoming more passionate which she eagerly responded to, her heart starting to race in her chest, "Mnnn what happened to the shower?" she asked with a small giggle in her voice as she pulled back from the kiss.
He pouted cutely when she pulled back but then his pout turned into a smile, "Yes ma'am. As long as you stay naked I'll follow you wherever~" he said, playfully groping her rear which made her meep cutely before giggling.
"Yes sir~" she purred quietly, taking his hand to lead him into the bathroom where she got the shower started and they both climbed inside and stood under the running water. Jushiro wrapped his arms back around her and pulled her close to him again and she smiled lightly, "You remember the first time we showered together?" she asked him, Jushiro nodding with a small smile as his hands brushed up and down her back.
"I do… it was right after you had Sakura and you were mumbling to yourself about your body." he said to her, Minako blushing lightly as she gave him a sheepish smile, "You called your body hideous and I very much disagreed with that." he said, one of his hands moving around to lay flat on her stomach that wasn't yet showing a pudge, "Because it can do something a man could never do. And it's about to do it again… with our baby." he said quietly with a tender smile that Minako had never seen before from him. His eyes were soft and his gaze to her belly made her blush all the more.
She laid her hand atop his and she laid her cheek against his shoulder, closing her eyes as the water poured over them, "It's exciting isn't it…?" she asked quietly, nipping her lip as her hand tightened around his, "But I'm also scared… What if something happens again…? What if I miscarry again…?" she asked softly, Jushiro frowning as he took his free hand to cup her cheek, tipping her head up so she looked at him.
"I can't say nothing will happen. There's always that possibility. But like I said earlier, all we can do is hope and pray to the gods and hope for the best. You're nearly done with your first trimester. Isn't that when the possibility of miscarriage goes away?" he asked her, Minako giving a small nod. He bent down to kiss her forehead softly, stroking her wet hair, "It'll be okay Minako… The baby will be fine. You'll be fine. I'll do everything in my power to make sure of it." he told her with that familiar warm smile that always got her heart fluttering. Mink's hands curled up a bit on his chest as she leaned to him, Jushiro wrapping his arms back around her, "We'll get through whatever comes our way." he said, resting his cheek atop her head as they stood there, "I'll be by your side no matter what happens."
Before she could stop them, tears began to slide down her cheeks and she managed to give him a little smile, Jushiro returning it as he brushed the tears away from her cheeks, "What did I do to deserve you…?" she asked quietly, making him chuckle quietly as he rubbed her back.
"What did you do? You were yourself. Your beautiful, sassy, spunky self." he said which made her smile grow and even got her chuckling. He leaned over to kiss her on the lips and then he surprised her by kneeling down in front of her, placing a gentle kiss on her stomach which had her blushing horribly while shyly murmuring his name, "Now listen here… You need to be a good baby and stay in there and cook for a long while. Your mommy and myself really want to meet you. So be nice and stay in there and don't make mommy sick." he said, poking her stomach which made her laugh.
"Sometimes you're too much…" she said to him, brushing her hand down his white hair, "But I love it." she murmured as he stood back up, pulling her back into his arms before he pressed her against the shower wall, making her mewl quietly, "Mnnn picking up where we left off?" she asked, Jushiro nodding as he ran his hands along her sides.
"You know it~" he said, Minako giggling quietly before she leaned up to kiss him deeply, wrapping her arms around his shoulders to press her body close to his. They kissed for a minute or two before Jushiro pulled back, making Minako blink, "I do have a question…" he said, Minako looking up at him curiously, "Sex… won't hurt the baby right? Like… I won't… poke it will I?" he asked her, Minako looking at him silently for a moment before she began to laugh, only getting him more flustered.
"No Jushiro. You won't poke the baby. The baby is tucked away nice and safe in something called an amniotic sac that's filled with fluids. Sex is a perfectly fine thing to do while pregnant. In fact, as long as it's comfortable a couple can have sex literally until the day you go into labor." she told him, which relieved him and made him blush at the same time.
He cleared his throat softly before smiling sheepishly at her, "I just wanted to make sure… It's not like I've had sex with a pregnant woman before." he said which made her smile.
"Well, we can definitely change that." she said, pulling him back to her as she captured his lips in another kiss, moaning sweetly against his lips as she felt his strong body pressing against hers. Jushiro kissed her harder, his tongue pushing past her lips to tangle with her own in a battle of dominance that Jushiro easily won. Well, Minako was happy to let him take over. She loved his dominant side whenever it showed. Her hands roamed up his wet torso and one hand curled into his hair while the other explored his body. She could feel her own starting to grow warm with anticipation. Now that she knew she was pregnant a lot of things made sense now. She had been feeling a bit more emotional but what she had definitely noticed was that she was craving Jushiro much more than usual. Not that she didn't crave sex anyways but she had been coming onto him hard core for the past few weeks and now it made sense as to why. With her hormones going up it made sense as to why she'd get hot and bothered more easily. While his hands went to explore her sides and back hers immediately went to his firm rear to squeeze it eagerly, making him gasp softly before he chuckled quietly while moaning at the same time.
Breaking the kiss, he trailed his lips to her neck to kiss and nip at it, his body shivering slightly as he heard her give I'm a breathy moan, her body arching to his touch as his hands moved to her breasts, her lips parting as her moans grew louder and echoed around the bathroom, her hand slowly clawing up his back to grip his shoulder while the other stayed on his rear. He moaned her name quietly as he kissed her neck, leaving a small hickey there. Steam was quickly filling the shower from the hot water flowing down their bodies, "Mnnn so beautiful…" he whispered softly as he trailed kisses down along her shoulder.
Minako hummed softly and smiled lightly at him, "Mnnn say that again when I'm nine months pregnant and look like a whale." she mused, making him chuckle as he pulled back to look at her, both their features tinted pink from their bodies getting warmer, "Mnnn would you still make love to me then?" she asked quietly, Jushiro giving her a warm smile as his hands settled on her hips.
"I'll make love to you even then. Because you are my wife and will be beautiful just as you were when you carried Sakura." he told her in a quiet voice, making her smile as her hand cupped his cheek.
"Make love to me now…" she whispered softly to him, Jushiro nodding as one of his hands slowly moved down to cup her heated flesh, two fingers brushing between her folds which made her head tip back as she gave a loud moan, her hips rocking to them as her walls fluttered eagerly, "Jushiro~ Haaa~" she moaned out. He wanted to moan just from hearing that sweet sound coming from her lips. In a way it made him prideful, his chest swelling with it every time that she moaned for him. Knowing those moans were meant for him, no longer for Aizen. What Aizen lost, he gained. He gave up all rights to the family he created and Jushiro stepped in and filled the role, gaining a beautiful woman to call his own and a precious little girl to call his daughter. And now… now they were having a child of their own. He pushed Minako against the shower wall, pressing his firm body against hers which made her breath out softly in delight, giving a little mewl that had him smirking. He could feel himself getting more and more turned on.
He pressed his hips against hers to let her feel him, "Mnnn see what you do to me Minako?" he asked quietly with a smirk, Minako reaching between them to cup his length, earning her a deep groan from him that vibrated against her shoulder that he was currently kissing. His length twitched in her hand as she slowly stroked him, her thumb moving to his tip which made him gasp before giving a low, deep moan, "Minako~ Gods…" he groaned, slowly slipping his fingers inside her to have her moaning as loud as he was.
"Yeah~ Mnn Jushiro~" she panted out, her face twisted in a soft look of pleasure as her walls fluttered around his fingers that were pumping in and out of her. Her hand squeezed around his length a little more as she stroked him, his hips rocking slowly to her hand. After teasing her for a few moments he pulled his fingers away and then in one easy motion lifted her against the shower wall, her legs instantly wrapping around his hips. She released his length from his hand and he positioned himself, moving to kiss her deeply again as he pushed inside her, going nice and slow so she could feel every thick inch of him sinking inside her. They breathed out each other's names and he stilled once he was fully inside her he began to move, slowly pulling out before pushing back in. Jushiro broke the kiss to press his head against her shoulder as he moved, going at a steady pace that had her trembling and moaning for him. Her toes curled up as the heat pulsed through her veins, "Yes~ Haa Jushro~" she called out between moans, panting as her fingers dug into his shoulders and back, her legs wrapping tighter around his hips to push him even deeper as his thrusts became quicker and harder.
"Minako~ Haaa Minako~" came his moaned replies, his hips rocking to hers, his length pushing deep inside to stroke that spot that would have her crying out to him, her face twisting in bliss. Water dripped down their bodies, washing away any sweat the accumulated on their bodies from their intense movements down the drain at their feet. His hands kept hold of her to keep her lifted against the shower wall. Her body was so sensitive now. Everything tingled in the best of ways and it left her craving more. The way he worshipped her body in the bedroom was definitely something she'd never experienced before him. He took his time with her, exploring her body in ways that Sousuke never did. It wasn't one sided. Jushiro happily and eagerly gave her body attention just as she gave his body attention. There were so many things that she was completely new to, and Jushiro was more than happy to get her acquainted each thing, loving that he was the first person to introduce her to those things.
Her body felt like it was on fire in the best of ways. She tipped her head back and her back arched, feeling the heat building up more and more in her body, "Yes~ I'm close~ Jushiro!" she called out, Jushiro lifting his head to look at her face as it twisted in pleasure, just for him. He angled his hips differently and began to hit her pleasure spot at a different angle, making her call out louder to him.'
"Me too~ Mnnn gods yes~" he groaned, his own face heated and scrunched in his own look of bliss as the heat came crashing down over him. It didn't take much longer for him to send her over. Just a few more thrusts was all it took and Mink's body began to tremble and writhe in his arms as she climaxed, her moans turning into hot cries of ecstasy as her fluids dripped down his length, her walls clenching around his thrusting length as he too met his end and climaxed as well, moving to kiss her hotly as he groaned, his fluids spilling inside her as his hips slowly came to a stop. They slowly broke the kiss so the could catch their breathes, Jushiro looking at her with his soft brown eyes while she him with her platinum ones, smiles slowly appearing on their features. He slowly pulled out so he could place her back down on her feet, his hand reaching up to brush his knuckles down her cheek.
"Jushiro…" she breathed out, keeping her arms wrapped around his shoulders as he wrapped his around her waist to pull her close, bending down to give her a soft kiss, "I love you…" she breathed out softly.
"I love you too…" he replied quietly, feeling his heart starting to calm down from getting so worked up, "Heh, sometimes I wonder if we shower together to actually get cleaned up or for shower sex." he mused, making her laugh softly as one of her hands ran down his chest, feeling his strong heartbeat beneath her fingertips.
"It's definitely for the sex. We never actually touch the soap when we take a shower together." she said back which made him smirk, "Not that I mind one bit." she said as she leaned up to kiss him, one hand cupping his cheek while the other remained on his chest, his arms tightening around her. They did manage to at least wash off before the water began to run cold and after another good make out session they turned the water off and got out, drying off before heading into the bedroom to lay down. Jushiro pulled the blankets over them and he laid on his back with Minako snuggled to him.
He laid his hand on her stomach once more and he smiled sweetly, rubbing it slightly, "It's still hard to believe… we're having a baby…" he murmured quietly, Minako nodding as she rolled onto her side so she could cuddle up to him, draping one of her arms around his chest while she laid her head on his shoulder.
"I know.. I'm excited though… And nervous but… mostly excited." she murmured, closing her eyes as she relaxed with him. She could feel herself growing sleepy and making herself comfy at his side wasn't helping. She was happy, relaxed and ready for a night's rest.
Jushiro could tell she was sleepy and he reached over to turn the lamp off, shrouding their room in darkness, "I am too… but right now I think we should get some rest… It's been quite an eventful day." he said, Minako nodding to agree as she yawned cutely, nuzzling his chest happily as she listened to his heart beat.
"It has… I'm definitely ready for some sleep… Good night Jushiro… I love you." she murmured sleepily, Jushiro smiling softly before closing his eyes.
"Good night Minako… I love you too….
Another update~ I am on a roll! ^_^ I've been wanting to write as much as I can before the new semester starts. I'm taking 18 credit hours and that's gonna drive me insane. But, I'm kind of at a writer's block. I want something dramatic to happen since not much action has been going on... Besides sex. XD ANYWAYS! Please review? Lemme know if you're team boy or team girl! What will they have? Tell me what you want them to have~ I may put a pole up and let you guys decide! Because honestly I have a bias for my characters having girls (mainly because I want to have a girl once I'm married and start a family). So yeah. let me know what you think. :)
