Life of a Castaway (book 2)

Seto's pov

"I did what you wanted." I said, dragging Ty behind me.

"Thank you." Erin said, not even turning around. I looked down at my ex-friend. His chest was rising and falling at slow spaced out intervals.

"What do you want me to do with him?" I asked.

"Well, he should be dead. So just get rid of the body." I looked down at Ty again. His arms and face were burned with blood seeping through some of the wounds. This caused a memory to flash through my mind.

"Is he going to be all right?" Ty's voice?

"Yeah." My voice? "He'll be fine." Who'll be fine?

"You promise?"

"I promise." I could finally see who we were talking about.

Enderlox...

I remember everything! Adam apologized! I just tried to kill my friend. Erin turned around.

"What's wrong?"

" 's fine." I looked down at Ty. "Just one question."

"What?"

"Did you by any chance glaze over some things?"

"What do you mean?"

"Never mind. I guess I should get rid of... well you know."

"Yes, you should." I grabbed Deadlox, and closed the door.

"Ty," I dropped down checking his pulse. It was faint, but enough to keep him going for a while. "Hang in there buddy, I'll be back with a potion of healing soon." My face felt hot as I ran through the halls.

I just fried my friend.

"C'mon, there has to be a brewing stand somewhere." I rounded a corner, coming to a vacant room. I sighed, and dug around in my pocket.

"I have to have everything." I pulled out the materials I needed, and put them in the slots. They flew together, creating a brewing stand. "All I need is glistening melon and an awkward potion."

I pulled out a water bottle and some nether wart. "I have to work quickly." I threw them together as fast a humanly possible, pulling out an awkward potion. "Now all I need to the glistening melon..." My pockets seemed even bigger than I remembered as I delved into them. My hand closed around a half-moon shaped, pulling it out. I added it to the stand. "Okay... done!" I stood back, turned on my heel, and ran back to Ty.

I flew through the hallways until I finally found my wounded friend. "Ty, Ty I'm so sorry." I dropped down next to him, and tipped the contents into his mouth.

"I-it's fine Seto." He choked out, then he sat up. "No harm done. I'm okay." I hugged him.

"I feel horrible."

"As do I. We are on the same page."

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. Your mind was erased." I wrung out my hands.

"I don't think she erased my mind. She probably blocked the memories since I remember the time you brought Enderlox to me. That jiggled the memory."

"Ever notice how weird the word jiggled it?" I smiled.

"I think everything sounds weird if you say it enough times." There was the sound of a door opening. "Try to act as dead as possible." I whispered.

"No problem," his eyes closed.

"You still haven't gotten rid of the body?" Erin asked.

"Well I don't know where to hide the body of a well-known person."

"Then I'll do it." She took a step towards me.

"No I can do it. Afterall he was the one who betrayed me." Erin sighed.

"Fine, but I don't want to see that body next time I see you." I picked Ty up as she went into a different room.

"You doing okay?" I asked. There wasn't a response. "Deadlox?" Still no response. "Ty?!" I said a little louder.

"Hm?"

"Are you okay?"

"Ye-yeah. I think so."

"We need to find Sky and Maya." I said, running through the hallways. "Now where would Sky be?"

"Probably still in the same cell."

"Thanks," I said, turning sharply. I came to a row of doors. I picked the second to last one, and flicked the lever that opened it, taking a deep breath.

"You might want to set me down." I nodded, propping Deadlox against the wall. I walked through the doorway. Adam was glaring at me.

"What do you want?" He looked like he wanted to kill me.

"I'm getting you out of here." Adam let out a chuckle.

"Wow Seto, I didn't think you's kept your sense of humor."

"Adam I'm serious."

"I am too Seto!" He was laughing like crazy now.

"Fine, do you want proof?!"

"I would love some proof!" I turned around, and picked Ty up. Adam's laughter stopped immediately. "Ty, what happened!?"

"I'm fine." Ty assured him.

"I'm getting you, Ty, and Maya out of here. You just have to trust me." Adam had his face set in a way that made me think he was going to punch me, but he let out a defeated sigh.

"Fine, I believe you, but I'm carrying Ty." I handed Ty over to Adam.

"Let's go." I said.

So, that's another chapter done. Seto has seen the error of his ways, and is now helping Sky and Ty! That's nice, anyway not much more to say except later Legends!
