AN: To the last guest reviewer, you made my day a whole lot better, thank you. As do all of your reviews, just thank you.

For the guest who requested the unholy trinity :)

Rachel opened her eyes to look at the glaring red numbers beside her. She could hear quiet chattering from the room across the hall and was glad that her girls were giving her a lie in, even if it was only half an hour. Rachel turned away from the alarm clock so she could at least get in some more shut-eye. Looking after three girls alone was rather tiring, but extremely worth it. Sometimes big Quinn would come out and help her look after the two youngest.

Rachel happily settled back into her warm duvet and pillow and awaited sleep to take over. She was on the brink of returning back to sleep when shuffling was heard from the door and then the bed dipped behind her.

"Mommy?" Santana whispered. She wasn't sure if her mommy was awake so she wanted to do it carefully! "Mommy?" Her voice was a little louder this time as her arms wrapped around Rachel's wait. Rachel smiled at the touch then turned slowly to face the middle child. Slowly she opened her eyes, squinting so she was able to adjust to the bright light.

"Morning sweetie," Rachel said, her voice still laced with sleep. Santana smiled and placed a kiss on her mommy's nose as a good morning. The Latina then remembered why she was in her mommy's bed then pouted.

"Mommy, Britty still asleep?" She asked, casting her gaze in the direction of Brittany's bed on the far side of the bedroom. Rachel followed Santana's eye line to look at Brittany's sleeping form. Her arm hang out from the bars with a pacifier gripped tightly in her hand, while her blonde hair covered most of her face. Rachel smiled at the sight and wished she had her camera with her to capture the adorable moment.

"Quinn said she could be dead! Is that true mommy?" Santana frowned and sat up, Rachel following her lead. "Is she dead?" Rachel was surprised that, at 8am, Brittany was still asleep. Brittany usually was the first awake and would, cheekily, climb over her bars and wake either her mommy or one of her sisters up. So seeing the blonde very much fast asleep was an unusual occurrence.

"She's not dead baby," Rachel said softly and pulled Santana onto her lap. She then pointed at Brittany and both stared at her for a few moments. "She's still breathing, can you see her chest move up and down?" Santana narrowed her eyes then nodded. She was very much relieved that her sister was still alive!

"Wanna help me wake her up?" Rachel laughed at the eager nod she received from Santana then gently nudged the girl off her lap. "Wait for me, though," Rachel said, stretching her arms to click her muscles. Pushing back the duvet, Rachel made her way over to Santana and kneeled down beside Brittany's bed. Santana was looking at Brittany with a frown etched on her face, something was wrong. She waited for mommy to push Brittany's arm back then push the bars down before kissing the blonde's head.

"You're a good big sister," Rachel whispered and stroked the blonde's hair from her face. The blonde was paler than usual and it seemed, from the heat radiating from her face, that she had a fever. "Could you ask Quinnie to help you get a wet cloth for Britty, please?" Rachel asked glancing up at a worried looking Santana.

"She's going to be okay," Rachel took Santana's hand and kissed it. The Latina nodded then reluctantly walked to find her older sister. Rachel turned her attention back to Brittany and worked on waking her up.

"Brittany?" She said softly while repeatedly kissing Brittany's forehead. A groan was earned in response and Brittany swatted at the source of the kisses. Rachel rolled her eyes playfully and shook Brittany ever so lightly. If the girl wasn't feeling too good in the first place she didn't want to make it worse.

"Come on baby, it's wakey time," Rachel cooed and laid her head beside Brittany's. It took a couple of minutes but Brittany finally woke up. Her eyes fluttered open and glanced to the person beside her. She was glad it was her mommy, she needed her mommy.

"Me," Brittany merely whispered. Rachel smiled and kissed Brittany's cheek, brushing the hair which had stuck to her face due to her high temperature. "Mommy,"

"Good morning sweetie," Brittany smiled weakly then frowned. Why was it suddenly so hot? Brittany groaned and kicked the blanket off her. A cry was then let out as the movement caused a wave of nausea to wash over her. Rachel placed another kiss to Brittany's forehead and sighed.

"I know baby, you don't feel too good, do you?" Brittany whimpered pathetically and slipped her pacifier in her mouth. Santana and Quinn came running in with panicked looks.

"Britty okay?" Quinn asked, deciding to stay behind Rachel incase the blonde was sick; Quinn swore she looked a little green. Rachel nodded and smiled in appreciation as the cool cloth was handed to her.

"I did it myself mommy, but Quinn super..um," Santana pulled a face, frustrated that she couldn't find the word. "superised!" Rachel draped the wet cloth across Brittany's forehead and kissed her cheek. The blonde closed her eyes and let out a sigh at the cold feeling.

"I'm proud of you," Rachel smiled at Santana's grin then stood up, her knees clicking from kneeling too long. "Morning Qbear," She added, kissing Quinn's cheek. Quinn, like Santana, smiled wide. Cuties.

"Okay guys, Britty is sick," Rachel turned to face Brittany whose eyes were squeezed shut. "So I need you to be extra quiet, just until she's better, okay?" Quinn and Santana nodded.

"I help mommy?" Santana asked politely. She hated seeing Brittany sick, but hated not being able to play with her too. Rachel nodded and gave Santana one of Brittany's cuddle toys.

"Will you watch her while mommy runs her a cool bath?" Santana sat beside Brittany's bed and closely watched her little sister. "and Quinnie?" Rachel turned her attention to the blonde standing quite a distance from her sisters. "Would you get the sick bucket from the kitchen?" Quinn gave her a disgusted look and Rachel couldn't help but chuckle. Quinn always stayed far away when one of them was sick. "Just in case," Quinn sighed but walked out of the room.

Rachel knew that Brittany was likely to be sick when she moved her to the bath and back so having a bucket close would save a lot of mess. Rachel kept her bathroom door open as she ran a bath for Brittany. That, along with some medicine, would hopefully bring Brittany's fever down and the family could watch movies all day.

"It okay," Rachel heard Santana coo. A smile came across her face as she listened to Santana talk to Brittany. "Me and mommy will take care of you," was followed by another whimper. She knew Santana would be pouting so decided to take over.

"Okay baby," Rachel leant down and hooked her arm around Brittany's waist. "We're gonna get you nice and cool now," Brittany nodded slightly and opened her eyes when she was sat up.

"Quinnieee!" Santana shouted, noticing the odd look on Brittany's face. Rachel helped Brittany turn and get her adjusted to sitting up for a while. "Quinnie quick!" Santana ran out to the hallway in time to pull her sister into the room.

Brittany spat out her pacifier and looked at Rachel. Rachel then realised why Santana was hurrying Quinn and tied Brittany's hair back.

"Quinn!" Rachel didn't want to risk moving Brittany anymore so she held the girl close to her. "deep breaths baby, copy mommy's breathing," Rachel then began to breathe slowly and Brittany attempted to copy her. Santana ran in, dragging Quinn behind her.

"Quick!" Santana urged and pushed Quinn towards her mommy and sister. Quinn held the bucket far out in front of her and frowned as Rachel directed the bucket to Brittany. She was about to protest when, unfortunately for her, Brittany threw up into the bucket.

"You're good sisters," Rachel said softly then rubbed Brittany's back, making sure she had gotten it all up before she bathed the blonde. Tears gathered in Brittany's eyes as she was sick. This sucked.

They stayed like that for a few minutes; Brittany leaning into her mommy, Santana pouting and Quinn turned away with the bucket held as far away from her as possible. Rachel took the bucket from Quinn and set it on the floor.

"Thank you for holding that baby, you can clean up now," Quinn sighed in relief and pulled her shirt over her nose to try block out the smell of sick. "You can pick some movies for our movie day," Quinn nodded and quickly walked towards the door.

"Icky," She mumbled and Rachel smiled. At least she didn't drop the bucket.

"Mommy's gonna help you stand up now, okay?" Brittany nodded once then rest her head on Rachel's shoulder. Carefully, the pair stood up and headed towards the bathroom. Santana followed closely behind; she was going to be the best doctor ever! Rachel sat Brittany on the closed toilet seat and began to undress her. A sheen of sweat covered Brittany's body and Rachel knew she needed to get some medicine in her, stat.

"What I do?" Santana rocked back and forth on her feet as she watched her mommy. Rachel slowly got Brittany settled in the cool bath and a sigh of relief left Brittany's lips.

"Mommy needs to get the medicine from the cabinet, so can you keep a close eye on her?" Santana immediately nodded and rushed to the side of the bathtub. Rachel smiled at her little helper and looked through her cabinet. Brittany wouldn't swallow pills so Rachel searched for the liquid medicine.

Once she made sure she had enough of that, Rachel grabbed a glass from the cabinet and held it under the tap. Brittany would want to rinse her mouth to get rid of the taste. Rachel headed back over to her girl's and smiled at the relaxed look on Brittany's face. The cool water seemed to be working which was a start.

"Can you get the bucket Sanny?" Rachel placed the medicine beside her on the floor and gave Brittany the glass. Santana followed instructions and retrieved the bucket within seconds. "Just rinse and spit baby girl," Rachel held the glass, as well as Brittany and helped tip it.

After the medicine was consume and Brittany was cooled off, Rachel helped her back into her bedroom and laid her on her bed. Brittany had her eyes closed and preferred to keep it that way as it help with the sick feeling.

Santana chose some new pajama's for her sister and watched intently as Rachel taped a diaper on Brittany. She didn't know what to do so stuck to stroking Brittany's hair. This time she didn't feel so hot, that was a good sign, right? Her and her mommy were miracle workers!

"Quinn," Rachel called out once Brittany was fully clothed. Said girl popped her head around the door and cautiously glanced around the room. Luckily the smell of sick had gone which meant the bucket mustn't be there. Rachel noticed the look and laughed.

"Don't worry, you're safe," Quinn walked further into the room and sighed in relief. "Can you help watch Brittany while I clean up?" Quinn happily nodded and took Rachel's space beside Brittany.

"You feel okay?" Quinn asked softly and Brittany whimpered once again. "Mommy will make you feel so much better," She said and kissed Brittany's warm cheek.

Rachel made herself comfortable on the sofa after getting breakfast for her girls then a bottle of milk for Brittany. She was so proud of her girls for helping out and for being quiet.

"For my litte lady," Rachel whispered and held the bottle out to Brittany. Brittany refused to hold it and instead she climbed onto Rachel's lap and had her feed her. Rachel didn't mind as she had one of the movies Quinn picked out to entertain her.

Santana sat on the other side of Rachel contentedly eating her breakfast, but she occasionally snuck glanced at Brittany, just to make sure she was okay. Quinn, however, had sat on the recliner furthest away from the sick bucket. No way was she risking getting sick.

Halfway during her bottle, Brittany had fallen asleep and Rachel was happy to feel that her fever had subsided. She slowly leant forward, careful of Brittany, and placed the bottle on the coffee table.

"Sweet dreams baby," Rachel whispered, helping Brittany lay back. Santana took this as a chance to cuddle into her mommy's side for the duration of the movie.

"Thank you for helping Sanny," Rachel praised Santana who beamed up at her. "I promise next movie night you can pick the film, anyone you like," Santana nodded then turned her attention back to the movie.

"But mommy?" She asked quietly. "I don't feel good,"
