-?-'s POV
Ultimate Chaos.
No better phrase could describe the condition of Viridian City. Some people ran about in panic. Others chasing the first group. Some still stood dazed.
In the midst of all this, a group of trainers flailed about, some trying to help, others trying to save themselves.
Overall however, no one in the city was able to drink their coffee peacefully. Panic filled every person here.
Hilda's POV
The hospital wall blew open, bits of debris fogging up my sight.
"RUN!" Red cried, running down the hall. We followed him until we passed the hospital room with N and Nathanial.
I looked over at Leaf, who seemed to have the same idea as me. We burst in, and, pulling the metal rings off, we helped the two boys get out of the building.
I pulled out my pokéball.
"Fearow! Help N and Nathanial get to safety!" I cried. Fearow moved his head, as though nodding. I helped N and Nathanial onto Fearow's back, and they flew away.
As for the three of us, we continued to run. The panicking crowds made our getaway easier.
Now, with not much to focus on, I pondered.
How did they find us?
My thoughts were distracted by the sight of a teenage boy.
Once seeing him, everything else meant nothing to me. This teen, the one with the tan spikes of hair and the black jacket…Blue….but Blue was dead! Right?
Leaf saw him too. "Is that…" Leaf smiled, and tears formed in her eyes. "Blue!"
The boy ran off though. He must have heard us, he wasn't that far.
ybe that wasn't Blue.
It might have been a lookalike. Either way, my heart sunk as we fled the panic.
Blue's POV
Shoot.
Hilda….ey saw me!
My cover was blown. My lying for what felt like forever, had been useless.
I ran from them, and away from the parading grunts as well. Worried I'd get caught, I sent out Blastoise, my trusted partner.
"Aim for the men in black," I said to him. Blastoise smiled, and readied a cannon of water.
I couldn't hide my childish laugh as the grunts were knocked over like bowling pins. I high-fived my friend, and ran onwards, after returning Blastoise to his pokéball.
Clearly, though, from what I'd seen, Leaf and the others weren't doing so well.
I ran into two somewhat familiar faces, near the edge of town.
"Ay! Watch where you're going, you weak-" Silver looked up at me. "Oh. What are you doing here?"
"Trying to help out, little man. You?"
"Same. But how?"
I thought about it. Those grunts were looking for us, and they were more fierce than before. We needed to get the citizens somewhere safe.
"Without raising too much attention, get the panicked citizens out of the frenzy. Again, don't raise attention. They're here looking for us."
"Got it." Silver nodded, and he and Lyra ran ahead.
I stood behind. How was I supposed to help out without Leaf and the others seeing me?
Lyra's POV
"Ouch, Silver! You're hurting me!" I shouted.
"Sorry," he grumbled, loosening his grip on my arm.
We ran into Leaf, Hilda and Red. Leaf was bawling, and Hilda and Red tried to make her feel better.
at had to be Blue," Leaf cried through bawls.
"Leaf," Hilda said, putting her arm around Leaf, "if it was Blue, why did he run away when we called him? It couldn't have been him."
"No. It was Blue. It was Blue." Leaf didn't look so happy.
"But…Blue was-" Silver covered my mouth as I talked. Then I remembered that promise we made.
"Um, Lyra, can you and Leaf leave the city for now? Go into hiding. I don't think either of you are in any shape to fight."
Boo. I didn't want to, but Silver seemed mad, so I didn't fight him. Leaf and I walked into the forest at the end of the city.
Hugh's POV
Of course we couldn't have a perfectly normal train ride. That would be too much to ask for.
Rosa and I ran through the walk way. But, since the train was moving, sooner or later we'd reach a dead end. And we'd get caught.
It was when I stuck my hands in my pockets and felt the surface of a round ball that I came up with and idea.
"Renuculus!" I send out the pokemon. "use Psychic!"
Psywaves flew through the air until landing on a target. The grunts stood dazed and dizzy. Added with the occasional bumps provided by the uneven train tracks, they all toppled above one another.
"Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen. The ride to Unova will be ending soon. Thankyou for riding with us."
I looked out a window. Anville Town, a small town off the tip of Unova was in view.
Whenever I saw this town, I felt peaceful. So, naturally, I eased up at the sight.
Rosa leaned beside me, smiling as well.
Maybe things could turn out just fine.
