A/N: This chapter explains what happened with Breena and Senior before, during and after the end of the previous chapter where Breena and Vance were talking. So there will be some back and forth.

Anthony DiNozzo Senior threw a rock through a window. In order to gain access to the Palmer's apartment. It was tricky because they lived on the fifth floor but he had no other choice. If he tried to enter through the front door he would have to be buzzed in. For a while he just stood in the court yard behind the complex plotting his next move. He learned from the list out front that the Palmer's lived in 5D. His only problem however was figuring out which side of the building their apartment was on. Finally the night doorman exited the building and approached him.

"Excuse me sir?" The doorman asked.

"What is can I do for you young man?" Senior asked.

"Do you have any business here? Some of the residents have voiced concern about a man lurking in the parking lot." The doorman explained.

"I was just trying to find the Palmer's apartment." Senior replied.

"Oh well they live in 5D. I can buzz you up if you want." The doorman offered.

"Don't the Palmer's have to allow that?" Senior asked.

"Well Jimmy had to rush out a couple of hours ago. Something about a work emergency and Breena must have gone to bed by now. Just tell me who you are and I can buzz you right in." The doorman explained.

"Oh I am Jimmy's father." Senior replied.

"That's odd cause I swear Jimmy told me his father died when he was a kid." The doorman replied,

"Oh did I say Jimmy's father I meant Breena's I'm just so attached to that kid he may as well be my own. Never had a son myself." Senior lied.

"Sir I have met Breena's father and all three of her brothers." The doorman argued.

Unable to think up an explanation Senior picked up a rock lying on the lawn and hit the man over the head with it knocking him unconscious. He held on to the rock and moved as fast as he could up the fire escape. He quickly realized that the complex was only four apartments wide with eight floors. So logically D would be on one of the ends. He had come up the left side so that was the side he tried first. He slammed the rock through the window. Once he had the initial break he kicked the rest of the window in. Only to realize he was in the bedroom of a small child.

"Wha? Aghhhh!" A boy about seven yelled.

"Oh no it's okay it's just a dream." Senior said.

"Johnny are you... Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my son's room?!" A man demanded.

"You really couldn't keep your mouth shut could?" Senior growled at Johnny.

"I'm going to call the police!" Johnny's dad yelled.

Senior grabbed his rock and jumped back out the window running up the fire escape towards what had to be the Palmer's apartment. Once again he thrust his rock through the window before kicking it in the rest of the way. This time finding himself in the nursery of his youngest son. The one he may actually be proud of one day. If this went perfectly.

Breena was talking to Leon Vance when the window broke. Ironically he was telling her that an agent was being sent over for protection detail for her and Gabe. Jimmy would either be at HQ with Gibbs and his team or in the hospital where several agents had been sent to look out for agent DiNozzo.

"It's just a precaution but none of us would forgive ourselves if anything happened." Vance assured.

"Yeah I understand." Breena replied.

Before Vance had a chance to respond or Breena had a chance to say anything else. She heard a the sound of the bedroom window breaking. Followed by shards of glass crunching as somebody walked over them. She didn't need to see a face to know that it was Anthony DiNozzo Senior.

"AGGGGHHHH!" Breena screamed.

Without even thinking about it Breena thrust her phone to the ground and tightened her grip on Gabe. She frantically ran to the apartment next door and pounded on the door.

"Breena it's two in the morning? Are you okay?" Carly her neighbor asked.

"Somebody broke into our apartment!" Breena cried.

"Come in now!" Carly cried,

"Thank you." Breena replied as Carly closed the door behind her.

"Have you called the police?" Carly asked.

"No I I accidentally dropped my phone when I ran out." Breena sobbed.

"Here you can use mine." Carly offered withdrawing her cellphone from the pocket of her sleep shirt.

"Hey Carly there are cops downstairs apparently somebody tried to break into the Mathias place and he was seen running this way are you alright?" Carly's brother Jeff asked returning from his night shift as a security guard.

"I'm fine but he broke into Breena's place." Carly replied.

"You guys stay in here I'll go wait for the police." Jeff replied.

Carly and Breena nodded in agreement. Jeff grabbed his baseball bat from behind the couch and opened the door. DiNozzo Senior was waiting at the doorway and quickly shoved Jeff to the ground. By the time he was able to pull himself up. Senior had already pulled out the gun he kept strapped to his ankle and walked over to Breena and Carly who had sat down at the counter. Senior spun around and aimed his gun at Jeff.

"You take the kid and go down the fire escape. So you can avoid the police. Wait for me in the shed around back!" Senior demanded.

Jeff nodded and walked over to Breena he whispered something in her ear, she nodded, and handed him Gabe. Jeff ran out the fire escape as Senior had told him but instead of running in the opposite direction of the cops he ran to the Matias's apartment where the cops were investigating the break in.

"You have to help me! My neighbor's house was broken into. She escaped to the apartment I share with my sister but when I went for help the man entered my place. He is holding my neighbor and sister at gunpoint. This is my neighbor's son he told me to take him and wait in the shed." Jeff informed the officer.

While the cops were taking Jeff's statement Senior continued to torment Breena and Carly. He had tied them to their chairs and then tied the chairs. Carly closed her eyes and prayed that Jeff was safe and was keeping baby Gabe safe. She wondered why Breena had given her son up so willingly. She and Jimmy had wanted a child for so long. Breena took deep breaths trying to remain calm for the sake of the baby and herself as well. She was relieved Jeff had told her that he was going for help instead of listening to Senior. She knew the cops would keep them safe and would hopefully soon arrive to save her and Carly.

"You should have just let me have my son back! All I want is a son I can be proud of instead of the worthless piece of shit I am glad I no longer call my oldest son! With any luck he died tonight! That's what I wanted!" Senior yelled to Breena.

"What's he talking about Breena?" Carly whispered.

"He's Gabe's biological father." Breena whispered.

"Shut-Up!" Senior yelled to Breena.

Carly wanted to say something but she knew it was useless. Senior shot her a smug that's what I thought look. Before aiming his gun at Breena and firing. Carly turned her head and saw Breena slumped forward in her chair unmoving. Her blond hair hanging in front of her face. This can't be happening Carly thought to herself. What would happen to Jimmy? Breena was his world her and Gabe and God only knows what had happened to Gabe. Jimmy had already been shot and now he may have just lost his whole family to a mad man.

A/N: Will Breena get out of this alive? New chapter Friday. The next chapter will be about Vance telling Jimmy and the rest of the NCIS family about Breena. So it will be taking place at roughly the same time as this one. Please review and thanks for reading.
