Three days later, Kakashi and Sakura stood in the once Training Grounds 5. The small gurgling of a baby was at the clearing's edge, an ANBU leaning up against a tree.

Sakura sighed softly. "I'll be honest with you." She said tiredly. "You have, for the most part, the skills to be in ANBU."

She looked like she hadn't slept in days.

"You just don't have…the stomach. It comes with age and experience. You should wait a few years and enjoy your childhood."

Kakashi curled his lip, "Enjoy my childhood? You can't be serious."

Sakura shrugged, readjusting her fingerless gloves. "You can always start fresh, Kakashi."

"That's bullshit!" he spat. Anger was building up in him. It was like a waterfall of emotion that he couldn't surpress. "You have to live with the mistakes you've made! So you can become stronger! You said that!"

"No I didn't."

He gritted his teeth. "It was close enough."

They stood in silence for a few moments.

She smiled sadly. "I won't go easy on you."

He crouched, "Good."

III

"You're going easy." He dodged a punch, easily clearing a log at the same time.

She grunted in response.

He let out more explosive tags, which she dodged easily. "Quit it!" he pulled a kunai and tossed it, releasing the exploding tag.

She was silent. She lazily punched, he ducked, pushing himself off the ground and connecting a swift uppercut. He heard a crunch and she fell back six feet.

"Fucking shit, Sakura! Fight me!" he felt like crying for some reason. "I know you're better than this! You tore this place to shit!" he gestured around.

A baby cried. Sakura snapped her eyes to alert.

Kakashi snarled, moving quickly to kick her in the stomach. "You stupid bitch! You're in the middle of a fi-"

Sakura was on her feet and Kakashi against a tree on the other side of the clearing before he could breath.

For some reason the pain felt amazing.

Tears rolled down his face as he crumbled against the base. Obito's eye burned and it wasn't until he wiped his eyes did he realize it was blood, not tears coming from his eye.

A lump formed in his throat at the thought of Obito.

Of Rin.

"Minato-sensei…" he bit his lip, looking angrily at Sakura. She was holding the small baby. "You fucking stole his move!" he spat. "Why would you do that!" he was sobbing now. "Why?" his voice cracked as he knees to his chest and buried his face there. "Why did he die?" he choked.

Minato-sensei was so strong. Why did he have to die?Why does everyone die?

"Sshhh…" he felt warm arms wrap around him pulling him forward. He felt his ears burning as he gripped Sakura, burying his face in her chest, letting out everything. He felt weak, pathetic.

So alone.

"Minato-sama protected this village. Protected his son. Protected you."

"And you." He mumbled weakly.

Sakura laughed, "I don't belong here." Kakashi lifted his head, seeing her eyes red with tears.

He pulled her tightly against him. "You do belong here." She laughed with a bit more feeling behind it.

"You won't leave me, will you." He asked timidly.

Her breath hitched and she gripped him tighter. "I will, eventually…" she whispered. "But for now, I will be here, for you Kakashi."

"And I am here for you."
