A little elfling, battered and beaten, is brought to Rivendell after being found by an elven patrol. Since elflings are rare these days, where did this one come from? The birth of one would have been known in every elven land. Why is the Seneschal of Rivendell so protective of her? And how will she be the Valar's checkmate piece on the chessboard of Arda's fate?

36. Important Note

To my dear readers- this is not an update, as you can see. *smiles wryly* Instead, I am here to tell you that I am in the middle of writing the second book and the first chapter will be out soon, I promise. Please be patient with me.

I wanted to write this quick note because I wanted people to know that this is to be a Trilogy, the second book dealing with LOTR and the third book with going back to Aman.

For the back story of Glorfindel's life in Aman when he was Reborn, I suggest you read Elf, Interrupted: Book One: Glorfindel Redux by Fiondil. I am going to be using his book as the basis for Glorfindel's relationships with the elves of Aman, who's reborn, and who's not.

I do not claim to own his ideas, all credit goes to Fiondil, as well as his own OC's. I am merely using them as a foundation for my own story. Any of his OC's or specific ideas or scenes will be mentioned in an author's note at the beginning of the chapter, and they belong to him, not I.

It is not necessary to have read his book, although it is a good idea to. I will be making sure that things are clear enough not to have read his story. If you have, all the better. If you haven't... You're missing out. ;)
