"So you and Fate-san are a couple." the light-blue haired girl said, eying the slightly older girl. They were currently located in the younger girl's room on the seaside of the mansion. There the private rooms for Residence and guests were located.

Nanoha felt slightly troubled by the openness of the wheelchair bound girl, while she was emptying hers and the blond's luggage.

"Ye-Yes, that's right … uhm, earlier you called Fate-chan 'Onee-chan' didn't you?" she asked getting a little irritated remembering how stunned she was hearing her Fate being called that.

Ah she blushed while getting flustered I thoughts of her as my possession again.

Rein who noticed the slight red tint on the auburn haired girl's cheeks smiled eagerly and pried for information.

"What did you just think about?"

The skirt Nanoha held fell onto the bed, her face further reddening.

Fate-chan! Where are you!?

Outside in front of the room stood said blond together with the young ladies butler. They leaned their backs against the wall across the large wooden door that lead inside. They stood silent … the whole time, avoiding a certain topic which would just irritate the blond and made her maybe punch the other … until they couldn't stand it any longer.

"Testarossa?"

"Signum, may I ask if the doctor is in the hose?"

"He isn't…and no breaking the forth wall in this chapter…" the blond let her head fall to the side "but more importantly…I need you help…" the stoic appearing woman said shifting her sapphire eyes towards the shocked ruby ones of the other.

They stood like that for a while, Fate dumbfounded because she never heard a direct request from the stoic butler and Signum in embarrassment because she normally didn't need help with anything.

"Um, Nanoha-san … "the two girls were now sitting on the Queen-sized bed in the back of the room. Nanoha still in daze from the sheer size of this room and the pile of manga that resembled a wall to a certain degree, so she didn't notice Rein calling out to her.

"Nanoha-san?" the light blue haired girl tapped said other girl's shoulder to get her attention and Nanoha who was still absorbed by her surroundings jumped when she felt something touch her shoulder.

"Ye-Yes?" She looked at the shorter girl, leaning close to her.

"Um, Nanoha-san … would you be so kind and…" Rein stopped mid-sentence which made Nanoha curious.

"What's wrong?" she asked but Rein reddened slightly.

"What's it like on the mainland?"

"I thing Rein-ojou-sama's sickness worsened!" the pinkette butler exaggerated laying on the ground, fidgeting while holding her head with both hands.

Fate found it quiet amusing.

"Weren't you there before?" Nanoha asked a little bewildered by the sudden question.

"No, not really … well, as you should have noticed … I can't use my legs due to a certain gene defect … to be more precise the muscles tissue in my legs is weaker that with most" she groped one of her legs making Nanoha's jaw tighten as she saw how easily the flesh gave in to the pressure, like a sponge "Therefore I will probably never get to walk…"

Nanoha didn't know what to say, until she saw the little smile on the shorter girl's face.

"At least until cybernetics advances so much that they can give me artificial legs." the girl said with a illuminating smile which nearly made Nanoha close her eyes from its radiance.

"Though the reason why I can't go to the Mainland is because of my sisters." Rein mentioned waiting for Nanoha to drop the important question…that surprisingly didn't come so she continued "Well both of them are a little overprotective of me…Do you have siblings Nanoha-san?"

"Yes" she answered "An older brother and sister. I can relate how annoying it can be when the older siblings try to protect you."

"Or how they pry into your business even if it got nothing to do with them" Rein continued.

"Un! Especially when they think you can't do anything on your own and try to help."

"Or if you ask them for help they simply turn it down with the reason 'You're still to young for that'!"

"I know that one! Oh, oh, and not to forget when someone is being mean to you and your siblings beat them up."

"Oh, yeah it's always reassuring to see your older sibling beat the hell out of someone." both girl's giggled deviously – unbeknownst to them said siblings felt a cold shudder run down their spines – until they were laughing.

After their laughter died down Nanoha asked what she wanted to the entire time "Um, I apologize if I may appear rude but with what exactly do you earn a living to live in a mansion like this?"

"Didn't Fate-onee-sama say anything?" Nanoha choke her head "I see. It doesn't really matter but-um, both of my sisters are working for the state. My eldest sister Reinforce is currently the Defense-minister while my second eldest sister Vita holds the position of Minister of Internal Affairs which she secretly shares with two others, but don't tell her or we'll be mowed by her mallet." Rein explained making the slightly older girl giggle.

Then Nanoha noticed that the younger girl was serious and went silent.

"Oh and before I forget, this island was made the same way as those sand islands in the coast of Dubai."

"I heard her say Dubai!" the pinkette butler exclaimed after pressing her ear against the door "Maybe she's got Dubai sickness! ARGH! What am I going to do!? Should I ask Reinforce-sama to bom-" Signum was getting frantic with her wild delusions making less sense minute by minute … the blond still leaning against the wall looked at her with a blank expression on her face.

Then the pinkette's thoughts got disturbing, making Fate hit her on the head hard.

"First of all, Dubai is a nice, filthy rich, warm, exaggerating influential, country. Second: How the hell did you thoughts turn to that, huh? And third, isn't it finally time to get in contact with your inner self? And forth, you're acting like an overprotective boyfriend … Oh pardon me, I meant girlfriend."

"I. We. She…not!…!"

"Would you like to see my see my Manga collection?"

"Sure why not." the short girl pressed on a button on the wall, making the wall lift to reveal a large bookshelf full of … Yuri Manga?

A/N This is actually the second time I used a padding like this in a chapter and I think it makes the text look longer than it actually is, right?
