Pegasus' white wings flapped, folding gracefully as the lance of blue energy withdrew from his arm. "This is over… Master Antigua shall win this war, whether we are losing or not…" He said ever so calmly. The several pieces of bone-like armor on him had all vanished, leaving him to look like a normal, ordinary gentleman with wings. With that, he simply stood there, finished with his mighty opponent, the one who fell before him, unable to do much. All that was left of his opponent, droplets of dried blood, and bits of charred cartilage. No mercy; that was the rule of war. So why did the Shinigami seem to not follow that one rule? Was it because they felt that they'd win? Or was it something deeper than that…?

Madarame stood his ground, watching the smoke clear away slowly. The miasma of the explosion of energy cleared, once his opponent's Reitasu had finally settled. Everything had become silent; all he could hear was the rushing heartbeats of the Shinigami, the adrenaline rushing through their bodies in this war. Nothing else would matter anymore; it was no longer about the safety of the Seireitei. Now, it was the matter of life or death.

Before long, a single serpent lunged out from beneath the smoke, hissing dangerously as it came closer to Madarame. It hissed dangerously as it flashed its venomous fangs!

Madarame quickly evaded the snake lunge, and brought his spear down upon its throat, "Is that all you've got for me, coward?!" he barked as the blade came down upon the snake's throat. However… "What the?!" His eyes widened, as his blade didn't even scratch the snake's scaly throat. He backed off, his eyes still wide in surprise. Why did his blade not cut through this thing? Before the man could even blink, even before his train of thought could reach its telos, his arms and legs were then grabbed by multiple other serpent heads, all of them coiled tightly around his limbs. He could not even move any of his limbs, as he struggled to regain control over his own body.

"Can't even move now, eh, Shinigami?" A whispering voice said from within the smoke. The miasma finally faded, away, revealing Madarame's faceless opponent! Multiple serpentine heads could be seen emitting from the opponent's single throat, all of them hissing, while a few of the others were already doing their job on him. Golden eyes they had, as well as sharp fangs. In the middle, there lay a single, different head. This single head was made from a bone-like material. This single serpentine head, hissed dangerously.

This horrifying monstrosity stood on its two legs, now armed with large spikes on its back, all of them being large and almost ghastly to look at. It raised a single arm, revealing it to be covered in white scales, even the hands were covered with scales, forming bony claws that were sharper than a thousand saw blades. "It's time I finish you off, once and for all… Shinigami." The creature said in yet another low whisper, this dangerous whispering echoing through all of the area.

Hinamori Momo shivered, trying to hold her gut in. She was badly wounded, yes, but the mere sight, nay; even the voice was doing more damage to her mentality than Aizen himself!

Renji Abarai stared at the figure, eyes wide, unable to look away at the horrifying thing that stood there. J-just what the hell is that thing?! It's… no longer even a human! His bones chilled as a shiver forcibly shook his spine.

Izuru Kira's eyes were wide with horror just as well, his normally calm appearance now shattered like a piece of fragile glass. He, too, was badly wounded, but even the wound's head-tormenting pain was no match for this nightmare-like figure… A deity of nightmares; that was what it looked like to the three of them…

"It's been such a long time since I last took on this form…" The creature said, sounding almost satisfied, "no other being has forced me to go into this form."

"Oh really then? So I guess I should be honored by this monstrosity you call your release?!" Madarame said with a smile, a smile that matched Kenpachi Zaraki's, if not, went well beyond psychopathic. His bones were slowly beginning to give in, as the serpents coiled tighter around his limbs. As the blood flow to his hands and feet stopped, his limbs were slowly beginning to become numb, he could no longer feel what would happen to them, only see them, and imagine the incredible pain.

"You can call my release a monstrosity, but this is not a monstrosity amongst our ranks. This is a glorified form, a form that no others could match. This, my foolish enemy, is what a Pesadillas Arrancar is!" The Monstrosity laughed as a dark purple energy bubbled upon the very tips of its claws. The energy released a small spark towards the palm, the very center between the five spheres. It then expanded greatly, completely hiding the very shape of Madarame's monstrous-looking enemy.

"Heaven, I hope you hear me! I will survive this fight another day, I will not be dragged into your arms; I will stay here, and fight this new enemy! I will not fall, nor shall I fade! I will be sure to take him down with me, rather than die on my own like this!" Madarame laughed, had the man lost his mind?

"It seems like this man has already lost his mind… I shall finish him off quickly then…" The monstrous boned serpent muttered as the sphere had finally been released, "Cero Apocalyptica!" The blast launched forth, without a hitch, aimed right at Madarame's bound body.

Madarame smirked, the man did not fear death, nor did he fear his enemy. Nay, this was just the start for him, for he was unaware of an opponent being so mighty… That was the very burden of the mighty, showing the weak how ignorant they were of how much stronger another person could be, and now, Madarame was going to learn it firsthand… The blast finally neared him. How long had it been since the monstrosity blasted such a tremendous attack? To Madarame, it felt like it had been hours. I guess the adrenaline's slowing time for me… my body knows when it's at its limits, and it's savouring the last moments before being decimated… Were his very last thoughts before the blast had completely absorbed his entire body, exploding with almighty fury! That explosion took up enough space to have possibly destroyed an entire city if it was necessary!

The monstrosity reappeared in the sky, high above the site of explosion. A few of the serpents had gone missing from its head, but were soon replaced by two more for each one that went missing! Each of the heads appeared slimy, as they were regenerations of the previous heads. "This is over… nothing's left of these pathetic fighters…" It spat as the entire form glowed black. Each and every bit of bone vanished, along with the snakes, revealing Lernaean Shiraki, the Cero Espada, now in his humane form. A smirk formed across his face, as this battle had satisfied his current need for blood spill. His battle, had finally reached its end…

The miasma that covered their battlefield had slowly drifted away, slowly drifting, slowly revealing the features of two mighty warriors. Their Spiritual Pressures had finally reached their climax; the two were on even ground currently. One appeared to have been dressing less appropriately for battle, but was possibly dangerous beneath that look. She wore nothing more than a white nightgown, long yet flowing with the rushing gales. In her hands was a single, white scepter of bone. Encrusted at the very tip was a single diamond. The woman's eyes had changed; they now had a pitch, black-as-night sclera, white-as-snow iris, and a single black line as a pupil.

Opposing this woman was the enemy of Arrancar, a Shinigami Captain. As the smoke faded into the shadow… an exact duplicate of that Captain stood right beside him. This one had long black hair that splashed down his back, wearing a black Haori, a white Shihakusho, everything about their clothing together were the opposite. White was black, and black was white on this duplicate, in terms of their clothing. However, the original Captain wielded a single blade, this one having a strange charm attached to the very hilt. Long, slender, all white the blade was, whereas the strange charm hung like a rope with multiple other charms on it. The rope appeared to have been severed. The other wielded a black blade, the same exact appearance as the original. "Shinju no Souseiji!" The two said at once.

"So, that's your Bankai?" The woman asked, raising an eyebrow, "That's absurd, you haven't even changed at all. All that's occurred is that you've gained a duplicate, so what's this going to do? Two of you make absolutely no difference when faced against me."

"You don't know my Bankai, so I wouldn't talk so confidently about it." The white-haired Captain said with a smile on his face.

"I'd recommend you shut it, woman." The black-haired opposite spat with a disgruntled frown running across his face.

"Now you're attempting at trying to get to my head." She chuckled. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, what's next? Going to try a cheap trick to distract me?" She then swung her scepter decisively, releasing a blast of white energy and that lunged forth at the two!

"Hogosuijou!" The white-haired Jushiro commanded, swinging his white blade. Upon command, a barrier of water took form, taking the attack head on! "My Zanpakutou and I aren't to be that easily defeated." He said underneath the loud hissing of steam formation.

"Eat this, Amezuchi!" A rougher voice commanded from behind the woman. She quickly turned, but had no time to evade a bolt storm of white energy! She ducked the one aimed for her head, but several had landed their mark, leaving only small burns that were soon taken care of, as if nothing had happened originally.

"So you think you can defeat me with a two-on-one, eh?" She then twirled her scepter as both ends glowed pure white, drawing a circle in the air. "Then have a good taste of this, Trabaje Ilusión!" She then released her scepter, as it continued to spin. Almost instantly, a portal of darkness ripped open, hundreds of Menos screaming and roaring from within it.

One of those large, tall figures stepped out, being tall enough to possibly even scratch the heavens! It roared mightily as its mouth opened wide, a crimson light bubbling from within its spacious mouth. The energy shot forth at the black-haired one before he simply said "Amezuchi!"

The crimson energy was met with a storm of energy bolts that were pushing it right back. The crimson energy screamed forth, trying to overpower the many bolts, only to be continually pushed back towards the origin point of the flamethrower-like attack. Soon enough, the figure screamed in pain as it was absorbed into its own attack, combined with the storm of bolts that pierced right through its head!

"Now then, do you plan on continually messing with us, or fighting for real?" He said with a cocky smile.

Jushiro chuckled "Come on, you can't really expect my decrepit body to keep going like that, right?"

"Hey, shut it, I want to see if this woman can provide a good challenge." The other disrespectfully responded.

Another roar came from the first Menos to have emerged from that large portal, it screaming almost backwards-like. The head seemed to have been rematerializing; now this caught the attention of the two opposites!

"So it seems that we're not finished with this guy just yet, eh?" The duplicate smirked.

"It seems not. Shall we show him and our opponent a good time?" The original smiled.

"I don't see why not!" The both said in synchronization as lightning struck from the skies, and from the earth a geyser of water erupted! Just what were the two planning?
