A/N: Hey there everyone and welcome to chapter 38 of 'The Cafe' now before begin I want to to tell you that it's important that you read chapter 37 first. The reason I'm saying this is because there was some issues when it came to trying to upload that chapter and I'm sure I'm not the only one who encountered this problem.
Now this is going to related to Valentines Day and I wanted to get this chapter up before or on that day and I said that if I did not meet the date then I would push this back to next year. Given that the website was preventing me from uploading the previous chapter a week ago then I'll try to upload it within the month, hopefully.

(Gotham City 9:16 PM)
"Looks like it's going to be a slow one tonight huh Dick?" Batgirl said to Nightwing as they both stood on top of a building overlooking the city.
"Yeah it looks like we won't be seeing too much action tonight Babs." Nightwing responded back to her.
"Well the night's still young Mr. Grayson." Batgirl said with smirk on her face as she pulled her grappling gun and fired it as she swung off the building.
"I'm right behind you Miss. Gordon." Nightwing said as he pulled out his own grappling and followed suite.
As he followed her Nightwing couldn't help but think about all of the stuff that he and Batgirl have been through over the years, from their time as students at Gotham Academy to taking down several villains together throughout their careers as crime fighters.
As these memories ran through his head he found it difficult to put them into words so he did it in the one way he knew how, through song.
"We're the best of friends
And we've had our fare share of secrets between each other
Babs you knew everything that was ever on my mind
But somewhere down the road something in me had changed
As I lied awake in my bed
A voice I here inside my head
Softly asks"
"Why don't I kiss her?" Nightwing ask out loud as he swung behind Batgirl.
"Falling a little behind there aren't you slow wonder?" Batgirl asked him teasingly.
"We'll see about that Babs." Nightwing stated as he passed by here.
(Titans Tower 5:25 PM)
"Nightwing would you like to join us in the meditation?" Starfire asked as she noticed Dick walk into the room.
"I don't know Star, maybe later." Nightwing responded to her.
"You sure? Because you have been pretty stressed lately." Raven pointed out to the former boy wonder.
Nightwing was giving their request some serious thought and then he remembered the hardships endured during his time on the Titans and how Starfire was there to give him a shoulder to lean on. He also remembered on how Raven would sometimes confide in him and the bond they shared when she entered his mind and he comforted her child form when her father attacked their world.
"Why don't you tell them?
Why don't you let her see
All of those feelings that you hide
'Cause they'll never know
If you don't ever show
The way you feel inside
"Why don't I kiss her?" Nightwing asked himself.
"What was that?" Starfire asked him out of confusion.
"Oh nothing, you know on second thought I think I will join you guys." Nightwing said as he joined them in meditation.
(Watchtower 7:16 PM)
"So you guys have any plans for tonight?" Nightwing asked both Zatanna and Raquel as he approached them.
"Zatanna is putting on a show tonight in Vegas and she's planning on giving us the V.I.P treatment." Raquel answered.
"What do you say bird boy? Up for a little Vegas Vacation?" Zatanna asked him with a smile on her face.
Nightwing couldn't help but let out a small smirk as he remembered his passed relationship with both of the two ladies.
"Oh I was so afraid to make that first move
Just a touch and we
Crossed that line so long ago
Everytime they were near
I wanted to never ever let them go
I should Confess to them what my heart knows
I want to hold them close
And say."
"Yhw t'nod I ssik meht?" Nightwing said in a small voice.
"So are you in or what Dick?" Zatanna asked him again regaining his attention.
"Sure Zee, wouldn't want to miss the show of the century." Nightwing answered with a smile.
(Bludhaven 8:45 PM)
Nightwing stood on top of a building gazing up at the stars as he began to have flashbacks of all the women that left an impact on his life in many different and unique ways.
" Why don't I kiss her
Why don't I tell her
Why can't I let her see
The feelings that I hide inside of me
'Or she'll never know
If I never show
The way I feel inside"
"When I was an outsider
I was lucky that I had her
Even back in No Man's Land
She there to lend a hand."
Nightwing sung as memories of both Supergirl and Huntress flashed before his eyes in front of him.
"Even in times where I had to ponder
Girl, you were there as such a wonder.
When I watched afar from atop of the tower
I couldn't helped but be enthralled by your power.
The memories of his team ups with Donna Troy and Powergirl appeared in front of him from his Titan days and his solo days.
"When we were young, you couldn't see
Then the years passed and finally you noticed me.
I remember taking those first steps onto your door
It was then that I knew that we would want more."
Memories of his encounters with both Bette Kane and his landlady Bridget Clancy flooded over him.
"The time that we spent together was electric
What we shared was something magic
Even though what we had was just a fling
We both soared high on the mantle of the wing."
As Nightwing sat perched on top of Gargoyle statue he thought back to his brief relationship with Cheyenne Freemont and how they teamed up together, plus he couldn't forget her own Nightwing outfit.
"Ooh, I know that we have the bond of history
I know there were times I was a total Mystery
The smile you had always a sight to see
I'll never forget the first time you kissed me."
Then time with Deborah Poulos the history buff he dated in New York and also his old circus friend Raya Vestri.
"All those times when we faced other
I could barley take my eyes off her
Even though her morels were sometimes out of place
No matter what I tried I couldn't forget her Face."
Nightwing looked up into the night sky as he thought back to his relationship with Shawn Tsang The Defacer and even his team up with Harley Quinn of all people.
"What would I say
I wonder would she just turn away
Or would she promise me
That she's here to stay
It hurts me to wait too long
I keep asking myself"
"Why don't I kiss her?" Nightwing asked himself as images of all the ladies from his past and present appeared in front of him. He tried to reach out to them but they all vanished into smoke when he attempted to touch them.
Then he felt a hand placed onto his shoulder and he turned around to see Guardian standing in front of him with a comforting grin on his face.
"Why don't you kiss her?" Guardian asked.
"Why don't I?" Nightwing responded back to him.
"Why don't you tell her you love her?"
"I love her?"
"Why don't you let her see the feelings that you try to hide?"
"I try to hide?"
"Or she'll never know if you never show her"
"Show her?"
"The way you feel inside, so..."
"Why don't you/I kiss her?" They both sung together as the constellations in the night sky began to form into all of the women Nightwing just sung about.
(The Cafe 6:25 PM)
"What do you guys think?" Nightwing asked both Robin and Superboy as they just got done watching the video on Nightwing's computer.
"Well it's interesting." Superboy said a little surprised by what he just saw.
"You really outdid yourself there Dick." Robin said rubbing the back oh his head sheepishly.
"By the way Mal thanks again for the help." Nightwing said to his friend.
"No problem, I owe you one for helping me with my romantic dinner plans for Karen." Guardian told him with a smile.
"So this is what you're planning on showing them?" Superboy asked the former boy wonder.
"I thought about that but then I decided to change it to a video card wishing them a happy Valentines day instead, you know after I give it some thought to avoid complications; afterwards I had Mal email it for me since I had to leave early to help pull Wally's butt out of the fire again." Nightwing explained to the boy of steel.
"Yeah about that, I had to rush out of there in a hurry when I realized that I was going to be late for my dinner date with Karen so I might have sent the wrong video by mistake Dick." Mal said to the former Boy wonder with a some what embarrassed look on his face.
"Don't worry about it Mal I'm sure you sent the right one." Nightwing said confidently.
"Kind of tempting fate there aren't you Dick?" Robin asked.
"Tim you seriously need to get whelmed because everything is going to go smoothly."
A/N: Well there you go guys I hope that you enjoyed this chapter, now as you can tell I used almost every woman Dick has been with. I mean I went deep with this not just movies and animated series but comics as well, chances are I probably left out a few and there was one girl that liked him back in the 50's and I thought it would be best not to mention Talia from Brave and the Bold, so anyway I hope you liked it.
The song that was used is 'Why Don't you Kiss her?' By Jesse Mccartney, Nightwing's voice actor, it wasn't that hard for me to change a few of the lyrics and I even add some additions to it as well. The other song that I came across was 'Into Ya' also by him, and yeah no way that one would've worked after listening to it. I also had Mal help him out because of his work in the music entertainment industry in the comics and it felt like a natural choice for him to help Dick out.

"Ahem." A voice said getting Dick's, Tim's, Conner's, and Mal's attention as they all tuned around to see all of the women from Dick's video.
"We got your video email." Zatanna said as Raquel held up her phone and it showed the video that the guys just done watching.
"So, is there something you would like to say to all of us?" Batgirl asked Nightwing with a grin on her face just like all of the other ladies present.
Nightwing looked at all of the women then looked over to Robin and Superboy for help but they just had amused looks on their faces. He then looked over to Guardian for help but it looked like Mal wasn't going to be much help here, so he looked at all of them and said the first thing that came to mind.
"Um... Happy Valentines Day..."
