Hello my loves, *get's shot by readers*. Hehehe, two months huh- where has the time gone. DON'T KILL ME! *get's shot again*. KILL ADDIE! SHE'S THE ONE THAT HAS BEEN MAKING ME NOT UPDATE!

Addie: YOU SIT ON A THROWN OF LIES! (haha, ELF reference because its almost Christmas. Unless you don't celebrate Christmas, then HAPPY HOLLIDAYS!)

Fine, enough A/N, let's get on with the story.

"Wha... gate babies?" Addie whispered out from my arms, still sleeping. Her pale face was contorted in agony and the bags under her eyes seemed to be getting worse. She seemed so fragile in my arms and she seemed unusually light despite what I had said earlier. This was odd because eating was all she did most of the time- besides sleeping. Not even her blonde/brown hair had the same life to it. It just seemed to hang off her scalp. Even her blueberry and spices scent was depleted somehow. Lira said that she was ok, but that was a load of crap. From what I observed, Addie couldn't even look at the lady without flinching, grimacing, or the more lately- passing out.

Soon enough the group of Liorians emerged from the ground into the bright, hot, desert sun. I set Addie down besides a wall then turned to Rose and Lira. "You'll have to manage somehow. I'm going to catch Scar, it's him the military's after," I told them.

"You're going to hand him over to the military?" Lira asked.

"That's the only way that the military will over look the people of Liore," they seemed to understand this, but Rose still looked uncomfortable with it, "but you guys have to promise me something."

"What is it?" Rose asked.

I looked at Addie behind me, "You have to promise me that you'll take Addie to the next town and tell her that I'll find her there. She can't come with me to find Scar- it's too dangerous." I knew that Addie was probably going to hate me after this, but she can't come. With her not having the use of her legs and not having a wheelchair, she would probably be killed.

"We'll do it, I'll treat her as if she were my own daughter," Lira answered oddly.

I looked warily at Addie again, she looked small compared to the wall behind her and every feature on her face seemed to be scrunched up with fear. Her breathing was rigid. "You guys have to tell her that I'll come find her, she can't go after me- got it," I said turning back to Rose and Lira. Rose nodded and I ran off with one last look at Addie.

(Addie)

So much darkness. 'Why is everything black? Am I blind now?' I looked around more and rubbed my eyes- hoping that somehow I would regain my sight. Suddenly there were millions upon millions of eyes starring at me. Just starring and blinking. Their luminescent eyes starred into my soul and I screamed and screamed until my throat was dry then I collapsed onto the ground- tears spilling out of my eyes and hopelessly whispering "someone please save me, Ed? Al? Please?" on repeat because I knew how much I tried I would never get out of the maze of eyes by myself. This was hell. People that think hell is a blazing hot place of infinite pain were wrong. Hell is the cold black inkiness of eyes that cut into your soul and assessed every fault- every insecurity that you ever had- and was silent except for the screams and whispers of your own pain.

I wished that Ed or anyone would come find me. This went on for hours and hours- then I realized that no one was coming to save me. I was on my own.

Cheap perfume and scratchy fabric was the fist thing I noticed when I woke up from the nightmare of eyes. I opened my eyes and bright sunlight invades my senses- then a pounding pain in my head. Why? I was looking straight into the eyes of the one and only Lira. I looked away instantly and the pain dulled slightly. "Where's Ed?" I asked her, looking anywhere but her.

"He left you," she answered, "and told me to tell you that he didn't need a paralyzed apprentice- because it was deadweight." I gaped. That wasn't possible. That wasn't Ed. He wouldn't.

"You're lying," I told her, baling my hands into fists. Ed wasn't that kind of person. He wasn't.

Lira grabbed my chin and made me look at her- much to my pain. "Look around, he's not here is he?" I looked around and much to my dismay he wasn't anywhere I could see.

I looked back at Lira and glared. "Ok- he might not be here you bitch. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't want me as an apprentice. We've been through too much together for him to do that. So- somehow I'll make a wheelchair and find him."

Lira smirked, "Try it."

I looked around, from what I could see we're just out side of the tunnels. Besides me there was a rusted piece of metal and a couple of rusted pipes. "Does anyone have any rubber and a shawl to give up?!" I yelled out and some people gave me their rubber materials and a lady gave me her shawl. I thanked them all and set all the materials on the ground. I still didn't have enough cloth. Wait- I was wearing a shirt wasn't I? Never have I been so glad to wear a tank top underneath all my shirts. I took off my emerald green long sleeve shirt ,I only wear long sleeves now to cover up the transmutation circles spiraling down my arm (for some reason I felt like they needed to be covered up) and set it down in the pile in front of me. Now I just needed the right circle. I clapped my hands together and put them under my chin in a thinking position. "Transmutation circles, transmutation circles," I mumbled to myself.

I removed my hands from my chin and put them on the ground and red electricity sparked up and went to the pile with a cloud of smoke. I waved away the smoke and there it was. A chair sitting atop a pair of flat wheels*. A very cheap imitation of a wheelchair, but it would work all the same. I put aside how I transmuted the same way Ed and Teacher do and focused on the important. I somehow got up on the cheap wheel chair and wheeled away before anyone from the Liore group could catch me.

It took me a while but I caught up with Ed, we were close to Liore. "Ed!" I yelled.

He turned around, "Addie!" he yelled and ran back to me, "why are you here? Lira and Rose were suppose to take you to the nearest town."

"You can't get rid of me that easy, Beansprout! After all we've been through you think you can just freaking toss me aside like tissue!" I yelled. Hell yes I was pissed! I needed an explanation.

"What?" he asked, "No! I was suppose to meet up with you the next town," he explained. Oh, that makes a lot more sense then what that bitch Lira told me.

I rubbed my hands over my face, then was surprised at how bony they felt. Wow, I really need a cheese burger. "Well, let's get a move on, we'll talk about this later, Scar could activate that transmutation circle any second," he nodded, and ran off, me following behind.
