Talon roughly took the slave by the wrist as he sheathed his blade. "I think lord Talpa wold like to hear what you have to say and then he can decide how to have you punished."

The slave was jerked away from the wall and stumbled along side Talon as the assassin started to lead him to the throne room. No matter what he was about to tell Talpa, he knew his life was no longer meant for this world. What he did for the rebellion was worth whatever punishment Talpa would inflict upon him.

Talon glanced around on their way to meet Talpa, he saw a few slaves hidden around the corners whispering among themselves as they tried to keep their eyes away from them. The assassin caught the gaze of a few crowded around the next corner and flashed a fake smile. He knew it disturbed them because they knew Talon thought nothing of them but as target practice.

The other slaves pulled away from where they stood and quickly made their way from the corner and got out of sight as quickly as possible.

Talon smirked and then turned his attention forward again as the two of them were now entering where Talpa was waiting, the interrogation room. "Lord Talpa, I bring news which you might find interesting." He shoved the slave towards Talpa.

The slave stumbled and fell to his knees, he caught himself with his hands before he was totally laid out onto the floor. He kept his head down and his voice silent for the moment.

Talpa studied the slave, he raised his hand and a dark pulsating power radiated from the palm of his hand and shot out towards the slave. He raised his hand higher into the air, which in turn raised the slave from the ground. "What is this I hear about you helping the prisoners to escape?"

His voice was barely a whisper when he started to explain himself.

Talpa's eyes flared red as he increased the power he held in his hand. "Speak louder! I can't hear you!"

The slave yelled from the very top of his lungs when he felt the anguish of the pain from his master's power. His heart beat increased dramatically, his breathing was rapid. He felt his head being forced to look up at the tyrant. "Yes...I...Helped them...Escape."

"What was your reason to do so? Why would you want to betray your master like this?" Talpa asked as he scowled at him.

"Why do you think? You forced my father and I to build this for you and then you killed him right before my eyes. I bide my time until I could find a way to bring you and everyone else under your rule down!"

"As you know, betrayal against the Capitol is the worst crime of all, and it is one that must be punished." Talpa replied as he raised his hand a little higher and started to squeeze his fist tight.

The slave yelled in extreme pain as he felt Talpa's power course through his body even more.

Talpa got an idea of how to dispose of this trash. "Talon, follow us outside. I want you to witness something which I believe you'll enjoy very much." He turned his back to the assassin as he had the slave floating close behind him.

Talon raised a brow in a curious manner. 'Why not, if Talpa said I'll find what he has in mind interesting then more in likely I most certainly will.' The assassin followed them outside and stood beside Talpa.

Talpa spoke an incantation and within moments a 45' long and 20' tall muscular black and red dragon stood in front of them. The dragon's tail flipped around its tail while the scaly beast shrieked and beat its leathery wings in order to stretch out from being stored away for so long. His master was impressed by the beast's magnificence. Talpa only called upon his night dragon as a last resort or to send a very important message to his enemies.

"You were right my lord, I am extremely impressed by your dragon. He's magnificent." Talon replied in awe as he took in the dragon's stature and power.

The slave's fear of what Talpa intended to do with him ate away at his sanity, it reduced him to a gibbering wreck. The cold knot of knowing he was about to die clenched tight in his chest. 'Father, I'll be with you soon.'

The night dragon's breath encased the slave, crisping him into an early grave. Once the slave's body was nothing more than dust the beast roared so loud vibration from the sound shook to the very core of the land within the entire grounds of the Capitol.

Talpa's eyes no longer flared and the dark magic he held vanished from the palm of his hand. He looked towards his mighty beast and gave him a nod of approval before the dragon vanished from their sight. "This is the price of betrayal. Make sure to remember it assassin."

Talon looked over towards Talpa in surprise and then a slight frown creased his face. "My loyalty has and always will be with you my lord. There is no question about it."

"It had better be otherwise you know what your fate will be if I find out otherwise." Talpa warned as he turned and walked back inside the building.

Talon swallowed hard from his master's warning. This was the first time in an extremely long time he actually felt fear. The first time he felt fear like this was when he started training as an assassin. The second time was when he had been employed by Cale. Now Talpa reinstalled the fear back into him, and he hated feeling this fear. It drove him to the brink of insanity to where he knew he would never escape except through one way, which would be his own death. Talon shook the thoughts from his head and took a glance at the pile of ashes before he went back inside.
