Prompt: Toby asks Spencer to move in with him.

By: Guest.

I totally made up Spencer's peanut allergy. It's not true.

"Why? We've never been on a date, and we're perfectly fine. I hope." Spencer questioned Toby.

"First of all, saying that we've never been on a date makes us sound lame. And second, wouldn't be nice? Just to forget about all of the drama?" Toby pleaded.

Spencer smiled, and put her arms around his neck, "Okay, what time are you picking me up?"

"Who said I was picking you up?" Toby teased, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"I did." She smirked.

"Around 7, we're going on a picnic, so wear what you would on a nice picnic." Toby told her.

"Okay." She agreed. "It's a date."

"It's a date." He repeated, pecking her nose.

"Now, I will go since I have homework, and a date to get ready for." Spencer sighed. "I love you."

"I love you too." Toby replied, before letting her go.

By the time Spencer finished her homework, it was 6:30. She took a quick shower, and blow-dried her hair, she put half of it up, and left half of it down.

She put on a pink maxi skirt, and a flowy white tank top with a light orange cardigan. She didn't do much with her make-up, but what was there, was very light.

Just as she finished, she heard the doorbell ring. She grabbed a bag, and went downstairs.

"You look beautiful." Toby complimented when she opened the door.

"You don't look too bad yourself." Spencer smiled, locking to door behind her. Toby lead Spencer to his truck.

They made small conversation to where Toby planned the picnic. Spencer smiled, there was a blanket barely big enough for the two of them in front of the rock. There was a picnic basket in the middle of the blanket, and wine glasses.

"Don't get too excited with the wine glasses. I brought sparkling cider." Toby told her, after he helped her out of his truck. They sat with their backs against the rock, facing Rosewood, with the picnic basket between.

"So, I'm not a natural chef like someone I know, and I made the classic PB&J. Is that alright with you? I kind of hoped you weren't expecting pasta-salad with caviar."

"Well actually…" Spencer teased. "Peanut butter and jelly would sound great, but—"

"Peanut allergy. I totally forgot." Toby groaned. "Well, you can have grapes and cheez-its." He suggested.

Spencer nodded, picking a handful of grapes, and eating them one by one. "It's fine, Toby."

"Just please don't eat too many grapes. I learned the hard way."

Spencer chuckled. "When Melissa and I were young, she ate too many grapes and oranges. She and the toilet were hanging out all night."

"Oranges and grapes? That's an odd combination." Toby replied.

"Yeah, well Melissa didn't eat either one for the longest time." Spencer told him, eating a cheez-it.

Toby snorted. "I ate grapes the day after. And I got sick again."

Spencer laughed. "Why am I not surprised?"

"Are you saying I'm an idiot?" Toby asked.

"Your words not mine." Spencer teased.

The night went on with small banter, laughs, and Toby sneaking a few kisses on her cheek. "Before we go, I have something for you." Toby admitted.

Spencer looked at him with confusion. "Okay…?"

He grabbed a rectangular box, it was too narrow for a necklace, but too big for a ring. "Well, um, I talked to your mom earlier, and she approved. So just open it." He told her, handing her the box.

Spencer opened it, and found a silver key. "Toby?"

"Will you move in with me?" He asked. Spencer stood there just looking at him. "If you don't want to, you don't have to say yes. But I was hoping you would say something. Or you can keep it, and use it as a come-over-whenever-you-want key." Toby blurted. "Or you can stand there while I make a fool out of myself." He muttered.

He drove her home in silence, and it wasn't comfortable at all, it was very awkward. "Um, I'll see you, when I see you?" Toby told her, he walked with her to the door, then drove home.

"So you just stood there?" Hanna tried to comprehend.

"Yes!" She exclaimed.

"What were you thinking? When he asked you?" Emily asked.

"I was happy!" She told her, "But— I don't even know." She groaned. "God, I ruined everything."

"Toby's the one who asked you." Aria shrugged.

"Aria!" The girls scolded.

"He didn't do anything wrong. Except he almost gave me peanut butter, but he was devastated over it."

"Just tell him—" Hanna started.

"Tell him what? Oh sorry I haven't spoken to you in 12 hours, but yes I would like to move in with you." Spencer replied sarcastically. "He couldn't even look me in the eye. I totally embarrassed him."

"Just tell him you aren't ready yet." Aria shrugged, again.

"He gave me that option, and I still just stared at him, like he had a third eye!" Spencer half-yelled. She groaned into her hands.

"Tell him you were in shock, you didn't know what to say, and that you'd love to move in with him." Hanna came up with.

Spencer looked at her with puppy eyes. "Hanna, you're a genius."

"Well, I live to please." She scoffed, whipping her hair over her shoulder.

"I take that back." Spencer murmured. "But I have to go. I'll see you later! Thanks, Han!"

Spencer drove, faster than she should have, to Toby's loft. She quickly made her way up the stairs and knocked on his door.

"Oh, um, hi?" Toby greeted.

Spencer took in his appearance, he was wearing sweats, his hair was ruffled, and he looked like he didn't get any sleep. "About last night—"

"It's fine, Spencer. If you didn't want to move in with me, you don't have to." He told her softly. "I'm sorry for springing that on you."

"No, it's not that. I do want to move in with you. I just, I guess I was shocked, and then you dropped me off, and now we're here." Spencer explained.

"Oh." Toby replied. "Well um—" He was cut off by Spencer crashing her lips on to his. His hands instantly went to her waist, and he lifted her so her legs went around his. He brought her in, and shut the door. "I, was um." He chuckled, still carrying her "Not expecting that."

Spencer put her forehead against his. "Take me to our bedroom." She whispered in his ear.

So, while I was writing this I had Baby Swag stuck in my head. If you don't know what that it, (which I'm assuming none of you do) look it up on youtube. It's on The Mom's View. It's cute. Anyway, here ya go!
