Hello! This is a blooming romance between Six/Rex. I do not own Generator Rex MOA does. If I DID own Generator Rex, it would go like this:
There was something foreboding creeping, crawling, encroaching upon otherwise peaceful times. Something bad was coming… It hadn't rained in a very long time. Not even a trickle. Spirit hated the sun now. It had assassinated the clouds and took the rain down with them.
She stared out the kitchen window with a mournful look painted on her lovely face. Papa kept trying to get her to play games or even dance with him. She often did because it took her mind off of her long-lost friend, the storm. Also because it looked like fun and she didn't want to upset her Papa by being a sourpuss.
"The DDR game misses you," he'd say.
Daddy seemed more relaxed now that the storms stopped coming around. He didn't fear them. He feared the memories that came with them. Yet, Daddy would still come outside and retrieve his girl from her own private dance party. Sometimes she could get him to dance with her.
She loved those nights…
Daddy looked so beautiful when he was happy!
"Mija," Rex exclaimed when he found his daughter, "There you are! I've been looking all over for you…"
Spirit looked up to her papa and tilted her head to the side in curiosity.
"There's a storm coming. We're scattering to avoid it. Aunt Holi has work to do in Providence Japan. Naturally, Uncle Conrí wants to follow because it's Japan. Uncle Callan and Uncle César are heading to Abuela's. Kenwyn, Johnson, Claire, and Annie are checking out a Broadway show in New York. Daddy and I were going to go to The Castro. Uncle César loves that place. He said it's like coming home to a big gay hug! Who do you want to go with?"
If Spirit was going to go to Japan, she was going to do it right. She was going to go with her Daddy. Six was the only one who spoke fluent Japanese and had spent much of his youth there in between "assignments". Visiting Abuela sounded nice and New York sounded like fun… But a big gay hug sounded even better! She got several hugs everyday from her daddies and her uncles, but this was a whole neighborhood!
"You!"
Rex smirked, "I figured you'd say that…"
Spirit blushed as she thought about that blonde girl who ambushed her at the Color Run a couple of weeks ago. She had her first kiss at age eleven! And it was with a really pretty girl! And it was so magical!
Spirit stared up at him with her big grey eyes and begged him to tell her all about The Castro.
Rex smirked, "You'll just have to see if for yourself. We leave today. Come on, we need to pack for a couple of days. White gave us time off since we're useless to Providence if we're uh… Sanded in… Anyway, The Castro is a gay district with an old fashioned theatre, a gay history museum, and every kind of store imaginable. There's a cookie store, an ice cream store, lots of restaurants, and a couple of places that's strictly for mommies and daddies…"
'Which means I'll be on my own at night,' Spirit thought with a frown.
She didn't mind being alone… In fact, she was planning which books to take with her to pass the time. Spirit selected "Unbroken", by Laura Hillenbrand. It was the incredible true story of Louis Zamperini and how he survived a plane crash starvation, and torture at the hands of the Japanese during World War II.
She also grabbed "Wallenberg", Kati Marton. This book was about a Swedish man by the name of Raoul Wallenberg who with the help of his family name and a "diplomatic" title saved over 100,000 of Budapest's Jews during World War II.
Then there was "The Book Thief", by Markus Zusak, which was fictional "historical" novel about a little girl named Liesel Meminger who was fostered by a poor older couple during Natzi Germany. They gave her love. That was about all they could give her… She was a creative and spirited little girl who faced such adversity. Even though it wasn't a true story, Spirit loved this book the best. Liesel had a loud foster mother, a joyous and loving foster father, a mischievous dear friend, and most of all, a lifetime friend in Max Vandenburg.
If Spirit ever gained an elder brother, she would want him to be like Max. He was willful and encouraging. The bond they had was truly amazing.
Six handed her a book, "To Kill a Mockingbird", by Harper Lee.
Spirit tilted her head to the side…
"This is one of my favorite books. It is about life and racial segregation from a little girl's prospective in Maycomb County during the 1950's. Atticus Finch is a white lawyer who defends a wrongfully accused black man. He is a good character, someone who would potentially risk his life for what is right."
Spirit stared at him expectantly…
"I think we should discuss this book after you've read it."
Spirit didn't quite understand what he was talking about but nodded regardless. She liked the idea of talking books with her daddy! Six carded hand through her curls with a small smile.
"Go finished getting packed. We're staying at a The Willows Inn. You'll have your own room connected to ours."
Spirit nodded.
Her daddy could be pretty strange at times but she knew that everything he said or did had a purpose and a meaning.
Rex zipped in, all hyper and full of excitement. Spirit was still amazed by how different they were. They were like night and day. They were so opposite it wasn't funny. They also revolved around her and chased after each other just like the sun and the moon. Yet they were so in love…
She sighed. Spirit was only eleven but to one day find a love like her fathers' would be a great adventure to her! Rex picked up her suitcase and they headed to the hangar where Six was waiting. The agent was leaning against his jump jet. He had considered going by car but it would've meant an eleven-plus hour drive! Six loved Rex, he really did, but the Latino was terrible on long car rides.
Rex had very little patience. The only time he ever showed any was when he'd help Spirit with her math or something. Beyond that, Rex tended to whine more than his daughter did!
"I know our plan during our days there but what about our nights?" Rex asked.
"We could go to The Castro Theater and take in a show. There are plenty of restaurants to check out, a museum…"
"The Café?"
"I'm sure there are plenty of cafes…"
"No. THE Café! It's… Uh… It's a night club," Rex explained, his face growing ever redder.
Six raised an eyebrow…
"What kind of night club?"
"The kind that Spirit definitely shouldn't go to…"
"Rex…"
"Spirit is a good girl. She has her books and we'll have our ear buds just in case."
"…"
"Come on!"
"…Fine. One night though."
"Two and I'll really make it worth your while…"
"…We'll see…"
Rex whooped loudly and flung his arms around Six's giving the older, frowning man a kiss on the cheek. He knew that clubs weren't Six's thing. His love was more for a quiet night at home with a book than a wild party with strippers.
'We manage to slip away and I'll so make it up to him in a back alley!'
Fortunately Six was in to sneaky PDA…
Spirit eventually drowned out her fathers' conversation with "To Kill a Mockingbird". She would occasionally look up into the rearview mirror and take note if there had been any change in the storm. There hadn't. It was still just a dry boring storm that needed some lovely, life giving rain.
Rain made everything so much prettier. It calmed her too. It was as though the pitter-patter of the drops matched the pitter-patter of her heart.
Six glanced back at his daughter and smirked when he saw that she had fallen asleep. His little girl was his pride and joy. She meant the world to him and quite frankly he feared that one day she will be all grown up and no longer need her father to guide her. The bond between them was so strong and the idea of having a wedge of some sort driven between them was painful. It made his heart ache…
"So where are we going first?" Rex asked.
"We're going to check into the hotel then check out Hot Cookie," Six muttered.
Spirit perked up at the word "cookie". That sounded marvelous! She grinned to herself and continued reading. The little girl eventually dosed off after the first hour. She was using her bag as a pillow and could've sworn that it had moved about while she slept. Spirit ignored it and wrote it off as part of a strange dream.
They eventually landed at San Francisco International Airport and picked up their rental car, a cherry red corvette. Spirit watched the scene pass her by. San Francisco was a lovely city and she hoped to spend some more time exploring it in the future. But for now she was very excited about visiting The Castro!
It was the gay mecha's gay mecha! She couldn't wait!
Six pulled up to The Willows Inn. It was a cozy little bed and breakfast. It was so unlike the luxury hotels that he tended to spoil Rex with. The Latino was going to be spoiled enough as it is. Spirit was wide awake and now more than certain that her bag had just moved…
Her papa picked it up for her due to all of the books she had packed. Six got their bag and they headed inside to the main lobby.
Rex watched with dread as a devilishly handsome Latino concierge all but lit up like a Christmas tree when he laid eyes on Six.
"And what can I do for you, tall, dark and emerald?"
"The joint suite under Six."
"A six? Really? I'd say you're more of a ten, amigo."
The agent raised an eyebrow and wondered if that meant this man thought he was weak… He couldn't help but frown at that as he was the largest number of the original "Six". Perhaps he was weak to some extent…
Rex startled his poor cariño by slinking an arm low around his hips and grabbing his ass, "What's the hold up, love? We need to go unpack and check out some hot cookies!"
Six jumped and stiffened at Rex's actions, "Rex?"
"Yeah, babe?"
The poor older man's face turned crimson in the blink of an eye…
Meow! Mrrrow! Mew!
Everyone looked to Spirit's Hello Kitty suitcase as it began to make a considerable amount of noise and move. Rex set it down and positively dreaded opening it. Sure, the conseurge was hitting on his man, but this was a nice little B&B and he didn't want to get kicked out for having a cat.
Sure enough, Magic Fluffball popped out and gave an indignant meow.
"Spirit," Six ground out in a warning tone, "Did you pack him?"
The little girl stared wide-eyed at the cat and shook her head "no". Magic Fluffball had stowed away like a poor passenger on a luxury cruise liner.
"I'm sorry but we don't allow…"
Aldo, the concierge, stopped short when Spirit picked up her cat, shoved him in his face and pouted.
'Madre de Dios! Not the eyes!'
The hot emerald stud's little girl quickly reminded him of his young niece and how she'd beg him for ice cream…
He sighed heavily, "Okay. Just clean up after him and he can stay."
"We don't want to be any trouble," Rex said.
He was totally lying…
"It's no trouble. This will be my hotel one day."
Spirit didn't like that he was still trying to flirt with her daddy but she simply couldn't be rude. A big cheery smile lit up her face as she signed, "Thank you."
"You're welcome, little girl. Just remember. You have to clean up after him."
"Can we get room service to bring up a cat box, some litter, some toys, and some cat food? Just add it to our bill," Rex said before picking up Spirit's suitcase again.
Six merely nodded in thanks to the other Latino as he followed his love to the stairs. Spirit lingered a bit and gave the man another dazzling smile before heading up the stairs. She used one of the black cat's paws to wave to him. Aldo felt like a fool waving back but she was just so cute and her father…
'Que guapo…'
Spirit dashed to her room and promptly flopped donw onto the bed with her cat. Magic Fluffball let out an indignant meow again. He did not appreciate such an action. The little girl watched her cat roam around and sniff at everything in sight. He was such a curious little thing. She would enjoy curling up to him when her daddies were off partying with naked men.
Spirit was young, but not stupid…
She knew exactly where they were going and it was not kid friendly!
"Come on, mija. Unpack some of your stuff. We don't want to miss out on all the cookies," Rex urged.
Spirit bolted up and began to scramble around. She unpacked her stuff and shoved it in the draws before running towards the door. She looked up at them expectantly. Six smirked and messed up her hair.
"Come on, baby. Let's go."
"WOOT! Cookies!" Rex shouted as he locked the door.
Magic Fluffball let out a mournful meow at the door. He hated to be confined but such was the price of stowing away in his girl's luggage. The black cat huffed and curled up on the bed only to bolt under it a couple of minutes later when a stranger came in and set up his food, water, and cat box. Toys were dumped onto the floor.
Magic Fluffball waited until he was alone then meowed pitifully and sniffed at everything. He quickly decided that he didn't like them and curled up on the bed for the time being. They didn't smell anything like his home or his family. So the despondent kitty curled up and waited for them to return. His lonely eyes remained trained on the door until he couldn't keep them open anymore.
Spirit found herself staring at the exterior of Hot Cookie. Why did she have a bad feeling about this? Did it have something to do with the bright red underwear that read "Hot Cookie"? Six and Rex stared at is stupidly and wondered if they should let their little girl go…
Spirit bolted inside and the poor guy at the counter and his patrons stared at her awkwardly. She peered into the glass, searching desperately for peanut butter cookies without chocolate. Magic Fluffball loves peanut butter cookies! She heard that sad little meow when they left! Magic Fluffball is sad and lonely and no amount of adult logic would convince her otherwise!
Her eyes lit up when she found what she was looking for. Spirit pointed to it adamantly. It took the clerk a moment to react…
"Uh. You want that one?"
She nodded.
Six finally joined his little girl and smirked when he saw the cookie she had selected.
"For Mr. F?"
Spirit nodded, "He was sad that we left!"
Six frowned, "Baby, I don't think…"
She frowned back, giving him her "grumpy daddy glare"…
Six sighed, "You know papa wants to go out, right?"
Rex pounced on that idea and ran with it, "We'll go out tonight and you stay at the hotel with Mr. F, okay?"
Spirit smiled and nodded. Her eyes landed on a rather huge chocolate covered man part on a stick. There was coconut for the hairy parts and everything. There was a similar cookie for girls. It was a headless curvy figure much like Roman or Greek goddess. It kind of reminded her of Aunt Sarah…
'Ew.'
Eating Aunt Sarah didn't appeal to her one bit…
Rex's eyes zeroed in on it and quite frankly it looked delicious but a little small compared to Six's "hot cookie"…
The agent saw it and quickly covered up his daughter's eyes.
Rex smirked deviantly and took over, "I'll take three of those, three of those, three of those, two of those, and two of those."
"Rex!"
The Latino laughed, ignoring his love's protests and paying before Six could convince the poor clerk to cancel the order.
"Uh… Do you want the undies in a separate bag?"
"Nah. I don't mind if they smell like cookies. They won't stay on long enough for it to matter…"
"Rex!"
Six's face now resembled the "Hot Cookie" printed red briefs…
Rex paid and turned on his heel, still giggling as he left. It was thankfully rather mild outside so keeping the cookies in the car wouldn't create a melted mess. Good thing too or else the underwear would look less sexy and more messy…
"Where too next, mija?" Rex asked.
"Museum."
"Museum?! This is vacation!"
"GLBT Museum."
Six frowned, "Why are you so interested in that?"
"I think we should go," Rex said.
The older man looked to his chéri with a frown and a raised eyebrow. What exactly had gotten into Rex he'll never know. The Latino was quite intelligent but museums and books weren't really his thing.
Rex, on the other hand, knew perfectly well why Spirit would want to visit such a museum and as much as he hated keeping secrets from Six he did promise… It wasn't that Six wouldn't understand or be supportive. It was more like his brain would positively break if he knew Spirit had had her first kiss already.
The clerk at the museum seemed to hesitate before giving them their passes. It wasn't that often that they had children visiting this kind of museum after all… There was a front gallery filled with art that ranged from beautiful, to painful, to explicit. The more she took in about the plight of the GLBT community, the sadder she became.
She was overcome by how shortsighted people are. Why could they not see something as beautiful as love? It reminded her of the cowboys who belittled her uncles and fathers for being gay. Spirit found it shocking that gay men were emasculated while lesbians were sexualized. Society was so wicked and filthy!
'How can love be unnatural?'
When she broke down crying in the middle of an exibit, Six decided it was time to go. He picked her up and she sobbed on his shoulder. He made it as far as the lobby before realizing that Rex was no longer with them. The agent sighed and quickly grew annoyed by how flaky his love was to wonder off like that.
In the mean time, Spirit was a little annoyed that she was still being treated like a baby. As much as she adored her fathers and the affection they lavished on her, being treated like a two-year-old was getting old. There were worse atrocities to face in this world and what was the point in daddy training her to be an agent if he was only going to treat her like a child?
Rex saw the annoyed look on her tear stained face as he emerged from the gift shop with a few items. He handed her a pin with a rainbow heart on it. His own read "I'm so Gay I shit rainbows!"
"The gift shop? Was that really necessary?" Six asked.
"Yeah. It kind of was. If Spirit is going to be a part of this family, a part of this world, she should know the good and the bad. So I got her some books and something colorful and cheerful," Rex said with w shrug.
Spirit stuck the pin on her lightweight sky blue hoodie. She smiled and thought that she looked like Rainbow Dash! Six couldn't deny how she perked up after putting the pin on. He sighed out of a combination of relief and annoyance. It was as though Rex and Spirit shared a secret that he wasn't trusted with.
All children prefer one parent over another…
He thought that Spirit favored him…
It kind of hurt that it suddenly seemed like she didn't…
Spirit pinned a rainbow sheep pin onto his lapel… It read, "I'm the rainbow sheep of the family!"
"Baaaa," Six deadpanned.
His little girl silently giggled and flung her arms around his neck. Six decided that it was worth it not being her favorite daddy so long as she still loved him. Spirit kind of wished that he'd put her down already but was too polite to bring it up. Honestly, she was beginning to think that he needed to comfort just as much as she did.
Rex presented her with a couple of new books as well. One was "Come Out Under Fire", a book about the estimated one million gays and lesbians that served in the military during World War II despite the anti-gay policies of the U. S. Military. The other was "Evening Crowd at Kirsmer's: A Gay Life in the 1940s". It was a book about Kirsmer, a bar that became an "unofficial" home for gays and lesbians who struggled for acceptance and self-respect in a time where they were "sexual deviants".
"Come on," the Latino whined like a child, "Let's do something fun!"
Six looked to his daughter expectantly and Spirit gave him a brave smile in return. She didn't feel much like having fun. Honestly, she wanted to become an advocate of some sort one day, like how Emma Watson did for She for He or Malala Yousafzai did for female education in the Middle East. Spirit had plenty of people to look up to and if her fathers ever got off their lazy butts and adopted more kids, she wanted to be someone for them to look up to.
There weren't very many advocates for EVOs…
Most people just thought that they were monsters or potential monsters. Maybe she would become an advocate for them. There were still groups out there much like Hunter Cain's who were in favor of hunting and killing innocent people who just happen to be a little funny looking. It wasn't right…
Six raised an eyebrow as his daughter adopted a thoughtful look on her lovely face. She seemed to be in her own little world. Rex was yammering on about how they had done something that Six and Spirit wanted to do, so now it was his turn.
The agent's eyebrow quirked up, "And tonight's outing won't be all about you?"
"You need to cut loose and enjoy yourself."
"…"
Most times it was easy to forget that Rex was still a teen. He was surprisingly mature of his age in many ways. He took to fatherhood rather well despite the fact that he was only eighteen when they adopted Spirit. The Latino didn't complain nearly as much as he used to while on missions. He also did his part in cleaning up after them when it came to the heavy lifting.
Then there were other times where Six felt like an old fool for trying to keep up with him. It wasn't that the older man was short on energy. It's just that Rex's energy was almost manic at times. The teen was young and into young things. Six was an old soul…
Rex snatched Spirit from him…
Six frowned and followed them into a questionable store called Deisel. It was all ripped jeans and leather. Rex began to pull things off the racks and piling them onto his cariño. The agent sighed… It wasn't like his young love to be that into shopping. Spirit certainly didn't like shopping much either.
'I think he's just trying to distract her… It's sweet but expensive…'
This place was seriously overpriced.
'Thank God Providence pays so well…'
Rex shoved them both into separate changing rooms before disappearing into one himself. Six finally got a look at the stuff Rex picked out for him. He had a pair of tight looking jeans that mercifully didn't have any holes in them, a skin tight emerald V-neck T-shirt, and a surprisingly elegant looking black leather jacket.
He sighed and decided to humor the younger man…
Six frowned at his reflection, secretly hating how good he looked.
"You ready yet?" Rex called out.
"Yeah…"
Six stepped out and was greeted by the sight of Rex in a pair of black jeans, a right crimson V-neck T-shirt, and a relaxed looking black blazer with the sleeves folded up. He looked good…
Better than good…
He looked delicious…
Spirit looked adorable…
She wore an electric pink tutu, a black tank top with a skull formed of rainbow butterflies, black leggings, and a bright pink glittery fedora.
The outfit wasn't her at all and she didn't look all that convinced. Spirit made a face at her papa and pouted. He shooed her back into the changing room with what looked like a long purple shirt…
Spirit came skipping back out in black leggings that had white butterflies on the, a purple shirt dress, and a rainbow studded belt. She had a huge grin on her face.
Six sighed, "Alright. Change back and we'll go look at shoes."
"Oh! Not here," Rex said, "I saw an awesome place down the street!"
Six felt like groaning at the sheer amount of money that was spent for "fashion" but he knew that it would make him hypocritical. After all, he spent quite a bit on his perfectly tailored suits…
"Alright, chéri. Get a move on. You want to go out tonight, don't you?"
Rex grinned and kissed his cheek before heading back into the changing room, "We're so wearing what we buy today tonight and Spirit can be all decked out and fabulous when we go to the theater tomorrow!"
Six said nothing. He merely shook his head in fond amusement. They changed back into their civvies and paid for their new clothes. Up next was De La Sole, where they purchased some "epic" footwear. Spirit got a pair of shiny turquoise combat boots with Hello Kitty laces. Six and Rex each got a pair of snazzy looking black boots that were both stylish and comfortable enough to be worn on the dance floor.
Six didn't like their clerk, Rodney. He was a little too interactive with Spirit. The young black man thought it was amazing that their daughter was so passionately supportive of her gay fathers. Rex managed to pry more out of the young man with his charms and found out that Rod had a son that was a little older than Spirit and he sure as hell wasn't thrilled about having two dads.
"They pick on him all the time at school," Rod said with a frown, "It's like I'm in school all over again but I'm twice the outsider."
Rex gave him a comforting smile and said, "He'll come around. All that should matter is that you two love him."
"I hope you're right…"
Six briefly looked to his daughter and worried that she would one day be ashamed of her gay dads. The way she kept staring longingly at the rainbow knee-high socks made him think otherwise. Six picked them up for her with a small smile only to be rewarded with a big toothy grin.
Rex's eyes positively lit up as he stared at a shop across the street, "Why don't you guys pick someplace to eat? I'll be right back!"
Six glanced across the street and saw a store entitled "Does Your Mother Know"? He wasn't entirely sure what they sold but if Rex was this excited it likely had something to do with sex.
Spirit tugged on her father's hand and pointed up to The Castro. There were a couple of movies playing. They were old black and white classics but the one that caught his eye was "Chinatown at Midnight", a noir movie about a jewel thief who evolves into a serial kiler and prowls the streets of San Francisco's Chinatown. A small smile played on Six's lips as he thought the subject matter appropriate
"That one?" Six asked.
Spirit positively beamed and nodded. Tomorrow night was going to be fun! Her father grinned and messed up her curls. Rex ran back to them with nary a bag in sight. He blushed as his little mija tilted her head to the side in curiosity.
"I… Uh… I dropped it off at the car."
"What does your mother know?" She signed.
Rex laughed, "What mama doesn't know won't hurt her… Or me…"
Six raised an eyebrow and frowned as his suspicions were confirmed. They walked a ways, heading down the street to a Chinese restaurant called Mama Ji's. The agent nearly jumped out of his skin as Rex playfully slapped his ass and ran ahead of them. Spirit ran to catch up with him, a huge grin on her face and a mute laugh on her lips. Six was more than a little mortified to feel his face heat up as they headed in.
"How many," asked the lovely hostess, Mai Ling.
"Table for three," Six deadpanned.
She gave the odd trio a confused look as her brain tried to figure out what was going on. They were an odd trio with a giddy Latino teen, a grumpy man in his thirties, and an eight-year-old girl… They seemed like such a miss-matched couple yet their little girl seemed happy enough.
It wasn't long before a variety of foods was ordered. There were dumplings, egg rolls, sesame buns, seafood dishes, rice, chicken skewers… Six had a couple of glasses of masterfully brewed Kurosawa Junmai Kimoto Sake. Rex had a strawberry ramune and Spirit had sipped organic green tea.
The hostess watched out of boredom and curiosity as the grumpy older man seemed to shed his harsh demeanor just a bit and came alive. He even laughed as the little girl signed something with great urgency before stuffing a sesame bun into his mouth. The years just seemed to melt away for the older man as he casually covered his mouth with a sheepish grin.
She was amazed that just like that he went from cold and unapproachable to being quite handsome. It was a shocking transformation! Poor Mai Ling couldn't stop herself from blushing as the eldest of the three went to pay. She stared dumbly ad the credit card he provided.
'Providence?!'
She looked up at him in shock and wondered just who he was but his attention was divereted to the little girl. Mai Ling ran the credit card and was accosted by her friend who served as their waiter.
"What's wrong?"
"They gave me a fifty as a tip…"
"Is it legit?"
"Yeah."
"Damn… I shoulda flirted with him when I had the chance…"
"Yeah. Me too…"
They headed back to the hotel. Six had the clothing. Spirit insisted upon carrying her new books. Rex had the hot cookies and his mystery package that was well on its way to making Six hard just thinking about it. The Latino had whispered its contents in the car. The agent was finding it difficult to not jump him then and there.
The first thing they did when they got back was check on Magic Fluffball. Spirit crawled under the bed and hugged her poor lonely cat. Rex quickly locked up his new toys while Six laid out their clothes on their cozy double bed.
Spirit's new outfit hung up using a knob on her dresser so it was all ready and wrinkle free for tomorrow's adventure. In the meantime, said little girl showed her cat a new toy; it was a clear plastic stick that had a long rainbow tail to it. The pair began playing immediately after cuddle time was over. She barely took notice of her fathers and what they were saying about emergency contacts and the like.
She already knew what to do…
Her daddies took quick, unfortunately, separate showers before getting ready. Six's hair was slicked back as always. Rex's was a little messier. He laughed at how proper the older man looked before running his fingers through hair to mess it up just a bit. Six gave him an annoyed glare but left it go regardless.
"Remember, baby, we're a blip away," Six reminded for the fifth time.
Spirit resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she nodded.
Rex grinned, "You'll be fine. Just staying the room and don't let anyone that isn't us in. Have fun and keep Magic Fluffball company, okay, mija?"
Spirit nodded again…
The pair finally left her to her own devices after a group hug and a big kiss from each of them. Spirit locked the door behind them and broke the peanut butter cookie in half. She nibbled on her half after smashing Magic Fluffball's. The cat spread himself out on her lap and purred as he ate some cookie.
Six frowned as Rex quickly made himself comfortable in the car. The Latino had all but pounced on the older man as soon as they were alone and on the road. Rex's hand kept wandering higher and higher up his thigh. Six silently contemplates driving into the ocean to cool off as nimble fingers walked backwards up from his thigh and to his crotch. He fidgets involuntarily in his seat as they pull into a parking spot at The Café.
Rex undid his seatbelt and practically curled into Six's lap as he began to kiss his love's neck and explore his muscular chest. Six stiffened and groaned.
"Rex?"
"Hm?"
"I thought you wanted to dance…"
"I do. I just want you more."
He kissed Six soundly on the lips. The older man palmed the Latino's raging hard-on, rubbing languidly before somehow sneaking out from under Rex and out of the car. His chéri stared wide-eyed after him as though he was unable to believe the moves he had just pulled off to get free.
Six glanced back with a cocky smirk, "Are you coming or not?"
Rex groaned in annoyance and scrambled out of the car to join him. He latched on to his arm with a frown. There were other guys arriving. Some were single. Others were "shopping around". Either way he didn't want any part of them and they certainly weren't going to get any part of Six!
"How are you even getting in anyway? This isn't geared towards the udneraged crowd…"
Rex whipped out a fake ID from his back pocket…
Six glared at it…
"I'm only one and a half years away from being legal," when a couple of guys looked his way he hastily added, "To drink."
"…"
"Don't make me beg."
Six let out an amused sigh, "Fine."
Rex grinned and laced his fingers through his.
"But if I have to carry your ass home I'm kicking it later, got it?"
The Latino laughed, "Understood!"
They entered and were automatically greeted by the bouncer who was looking Six up and down as though he were a piece of meat. The agent didn't even notice as he shot a glare at the cute blond bartender lusting after his Latino. Rex clung to his love's arm a little tighter and sent a glare in the bouncer's direction.
Six hated these types of clubs. It was less dancing and more an orgy on the dancefloor. There were cages with gogo dancers of both genders and a hoard of horny men and women rubbing up against each other. Rex seemed to know this as he ordered a couple of neon green Tokyo Ice Teas to "numb" Six's brain.
It was as though the man needed an extra dose of stupid rather than some liquid courage to get him to cut loose. It didn't take long to kick in before Six was comfortably numbed and indifferent to the people around them. He pulled Rex into him by his hips and the two began to dance.
A wicked smile appeared on Rex's lips as he leaned back and kissed Six's Adam'a apple. The older man hummed in appreciation and returned the favor with a searing kiss.
Dancing turned into grinding…
Kissing turned into full-on making out…
The club semed to have disappeared along with its patrons, the rainbow strob lights, the obnoxious techo music, and even the bubbles. All that mattered was here and now. Six leaned down to suck on Rex's collarbone, causing the Latino to whimper and beg for more. It wasn't long before they migrated from the center of the dancefloor to the edge as Rex was pressed against the wall.
Six ravaged his lips and neck as Rex found himself having to wrap his legs around the older man's hips.
"Six. Six, please. Six, I need you…"
The older man knew just how much his young love needed him. He broke the kiss and flashed him a devious smirk. Rex would always complain that he didn't know how to have fun and really let loose. Six grabbed his hand, pulling him off the wall and into a bathroom stall of questionable cleanliness. He pressed Rex against the wall and undid the Lation's pants.
Rex was too horny to protest even though he wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of fucking in some dingy bathroom stall. Six seemed to sense his apprehension and silenced them with a tender kiss.
"Relax."
The teen's eyes widened in shock, "I'm usually the one telling you that…"
This cariño smirked and undid his pants as well, pressing their cocks together. Rex felt almost shy as he wrapped a hand over Six's. This was so unlike his love! Six was the quietest, most lowkey peson he had ever met. This was risky and kinda hot even though it made him pretty nervous…
It took their alcohol addled brains a moment to find a good rhythm but it wasn't' long befoe they were fucking their hands in perfect sycronization. Six leaned forward and traced his tongue along Rex's collarbone to his neck, to his ear. He smirked and nipped at his jaw.
Rex whimpered and clawed at Six's hair with his free hand, eventually guiding him to his lips. He sucked and nipped as his bottom lip with a contented smile. His hand then slipped up the agent's shirt, causing him to pause and chuckle at the feather light, tickling sensation.
They paused and giggled like a couple of dorks before continuing. Rex was desparate to get off. Six was desparate to leave. They pumped in sycranization, creating delicious friction. Rex cried out as he came, staining their hands and dribbling down to the floor. Six followed quickly with a groan.
Rex reached up and pulled him into a kiss, "I love you…"
"I love you too, chéri… Let's get out of here."
The Latino laughed.
He had been expecting that all night from his love. They got cleaned up and headed back to their rental for a nice quiet ride back to the hotel. Spirit was curled up on the floor with her books surrounding her like an engaged audience and her cat asleep at her back like a bodyguard.
Six carefully picked up their little girl and tucked her in with a little help from Rex. They gathered up her books before turning out the light and going to bed in each other's arms.
It was the sweetest gay vacation ever...
I was going to add more sex but I ran out of time… Also, Six just isn't the type of person to take things to that level in THAT public a setting. Sneaking around or in private is more his comfort zone. Same with Rex. I published this chapter in honor of my homophobic Ex on his 30th birthday.
