Woohoo! Finally an update from me :D So, me being the lazy person I am (I don't feel like focusing on my novels today) I've decided to write a chapter for one of my fanfictions. Yeah, I know I haven't been the most active writer ever, but I'm back ^.^
Anyways, I feel like I want to make another drabble based on SMC since I'm in love with it even more (since its actually following the manga correctly...for once...), but I don't know what. Leave me some ideas if you can think of something ^.^
Chapter 37- Kitten
As usual for the past few days, Serenity was alone in the garden. Endymion was busy with his duties, and Jade was too busy following him around and reminding him about his schedule, and well…Minako was a little too busy flirting with that guard, Malachite. Serenity could clearly tell that Minako had a thing for the guard, but that was an entirely different plan for another day. Today, she wanted to walk around the garden and despite her powers being weakened every few hours, she was able to make some plants bloom.
The birds tweeted around her as she hummed a cheerful tune and the butterflies landed on her hand or on her fingertip. Her sister allowed today to be beautiful and not as hot as Serenity would normally expect. Continue to stroll, she heard a distant meow.
"Mm?" Serenity turned her heard to the left where another meow responded to her. Was there a cat nearby? Serenity started to grin and trailed off to the sound, she loved kitty cats! They were so adorable! And fluffy! And did she say adorable? The meows came louder as the princess came closer.
"Oh…where can you be little kitty!" Serenity called out searching the bushes where the sound had come from. Searching through another bushes where the sound was the loudest, she spotted the black tail of a cat swaying back and forth.
"There you are!" Serenity giggled and grabbed the soft furry body of the cat which turned out to be a small kitten. How did it even get all the way out here? The cat wasn't a little kitten, no bigger than her small hands. Its red eyes glimmered at her happily though it was trying to get free from her semi-tight grasp on it.
Serenity walked away from the bush and to the stone bench, "Eek! You're so cute!"
Placing the kitten on her lap, she still held her delicate hands around it, she noticed the crescent metal hanging from its collar, "A name tag?"
Moving it so she could see better, it had the name "Luna" engraved on it. Was the kitten's name Luna? Now that she got a good look at it, the kitten's forehead also had a crescent bald spot on it. For some reason, it felt familiar to her, but she pushed it aside and began to rub the kitten's ear, causing it to purr.
"Luna…such a pretty name!" Serenity grinned then placed the kitten on her lap where it stopped struggling and began to play with the bow on her dress. "I'm going to keep you until we can find your original owner!"
The kitten continued to play with her bow while she carried it back inside. She was glad that she found a cute companion to keep her company. Of course, she didn't notice the figure hiding behind the tree who was watching her interaction with the kitten nor the smile the person gave before disappearing.
So, we finally introduced Luna :D She won't be talking for the time being since well...she's a kitten :3 So, I decided to take this drabble a different route than I originally wanted to do. Some knew plot points are coming to mind for me and yes, I will be back to updating this drabble (not sure about the others) everyday again, so expect an update tomorrow ^.^ I'll give cookies to everyone who reviews or is still reading this story! Cause you deserve it for sticking over so long without an update!
