a.n. Hi! So sorry for the long delay and for this chapter being so short. I had trouble with writer's block but i'm back and we're almost to the end! Thank you for reading and I really hope you all like it. Please, let me know your thoughts

"Let's go then, I'll deal with Warrick when she's safe." The Doctor announced and followed his new guides deeper into the maze.

"Used to be that I thought I knew everything. Y'know, I worked for the news so why wouldn't I? But, turns out I was wrong. I worked for the Blip. I think that it's probably the same for you guys. You think you have all the information you need so you're okay with doing whatever your boss says but you don't. You have a blip. You have what he wanted you to know so that you would follow orders. Look at us! We're in an ice tunnel and you aren't even allowed to leave anymore than I am." Sela spoke out loudly. She was trying to buy time, hopefully even confuse them some until the Doctor got there

Her captor's all turned to her and mostly they looked irritated but there was something else there. She had struck a nerve in some of them.

"You don't know what you're talking about. You're just a piece of a puzzle that has to get put together or we all end up dead." One of the men snapped at her. She finally recognized him, he was from the news office.

"Tyce, yeah? I remember you. You used to ask that girl to lunch everyday until she left. Is she what your fighting for? Is she here?"

"Callum, shut her up." Tyce ordered, clearly rattled.

"The Doctor will help you. When all of this is over and I'm out of here, he will help you too. That's what he does even when someone is awful. I don't think there's been a time he didn't offer a chance but see... it's just the once. He doesn't offer second chances. This is your one chance, Tyce."

He was very on edge now and held his gun so close to her that Callum tensed up, ready to intercede."Sela, you're the only one tied up here. You're the only one trapped. You're in no position to threaten or offer chances."

"Oh, but I am. And my friend here was right, she knows me well. Hello, Sela! Not the time for laying about, there a revolution on!" The Doctor announced, busting in through the formerly locked door and flanked by two men Sela didn't know.

"Yeah, so i've heard." Sela answered, grinning in relief. Callum sprang into action then, using Tyce's distraction to disarm him and point the weapon at the only other person in the room who had one.

"Hada, put It down." He instructed to the nervous woman.

"Yes, Hada, put it down. And you, Callum. There's no need for that stuff now. Just look at us! We're a proper angry mob now. Let's go storm the castle." The Doctor said in his strange mix of playful sternness. Using the sonic he snapped the bindings from Sela's wrists and ankles and caught her from sliding to the floor.

"Feeling okay?" He asked softly, checking her eyes. Sela nodded.

"Yeah, just weak. Doctor, he said that we were all going to be killed if they didn't hand me over. Do you know anything?"

"A little. More every minute though. These are my friends Mason and Kel. They're going to keep, Tyce was it? They're going to keep Tyce here company, yeah? Callum, before you say anything. Don't. You're going to go find Perryn and Krissa and hide, got it? Wherever you were before we got here, go back and stay there. Sela, hold my hand and no matter what, do not let go. I can't risk that blasted mind machine transporting you again. Let's go."

"How do you know where to go?" Sela asked, actually glad to not be left behind.

"Angry mob remember? Mason and Kel have just come from the belly of the beast and can lead us straight back there. Hold tight, nightmare's almost over."
