Chapter 38
As our friends on the surface were heading down with the help of Virgo, we go back to Harry and the two other Dragon Slayers with their cats, which Happy was being carried by Harry in the cage that he was placed in, were heading down to where Natsu and the leader of Three Tail Thorn were due to the explosion earlier.
"Never thought that Natsu would make a crater this big." Carla said as we looked for a place to land.
"He really made a big mess with his magic and what Titania has given him as well." I said.
"He seems to cause a lot of damage back home but this is a lot bigger compared to that." Gajeel said.
"Even the Guild Master gets mad for all the forms he has to fill out due to what Natsu and the others did." Happy remarked.
We kept flying and then I felt Winter inside starting to pulse and then saw a light ahead and said, "Over there!"
Gajeel looked up and sniffed in that direction and said, "Salamander is definitely there! I can even smell that jerk from that Three Tail Thorn with him!"
"Looks like we found them, now to land!" I exclaimed.
We saw a flat area and landed there. I also used my staff to pry the cage open to free the blue furball out of his little prison.
"Are you okay Happy?" Carla asked.
He flapped his wings a bit and cringed a little as he said, "My wing doesn't feel good."
"Let me take care of that and that bruise!" Wendy exclaimed and took him into her arms and healed him.
"That's much better!" he exclaimed.
As I looked over at the light, I felt a pebble fall onto my shoulder and looked up and saw the ceiling open up and down came people and heard them scream and they all landed on top of me.
"Thanks Virgo, you can go back." Lucy said and I saw the light vanished and knew that she used one of her Celestial Keys to get here.
"Looks like we're in the right place!" Butters exclaimed, which I had a feeling he was tagging along after his and Andi's task on the surface.
"Guys!?" I asked.
"Huh?" they all asked and saw me.
"Do you mind?" I told them in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Sorry! Didn't know you would be in the way of Virgo's tunnel when it opened up!" Lucy exclaimed as they got off of me.
I dusted myself off and said, "I guess the party's all here?"
I did see both Ladies, Fix, Butters, Grey, Lucy, Thomas, Erza, Laharl, and Dorenbolt.
"Of course! We need to get Natsu out of here!" Grey exclaimed.
"Where is he by the way?"Lucy asked.
Wendy pointed and said, "Even that Three Thorn Tail guy is there as well."
"Looks like they're fighting over there." Grey said.
"Yeah, I have a bad feeling that they are near the Layline over there and more danger may come soon."
"That's not good! Who knows what may happen next!" Molly exclaimed.
"That is why I'm going ahead!" I exclaimed.
"What? Why?" Lucy asked.
"You know what Natsu can do, right?" Erza asked.
"Exactly! I think I can use my own fire magic against his if I use it right and not touch the Layline with it!" I told them and then looked at Happy. "And I will have you!"
He gulped nervously.
I picked him up and ran forward and yelled after myself, "You all follow after five minutes! I don't want any more dangerous magic to fly, especially with the Faerie gifts you were handed!"
"He does have a point about that." Cerissa said.
"Even with what we saw above ground." Erza said.
I got closer to the area and noticed that there was another drop off and then yelled, "Parcore!"
I used it a few more times since the ground was uneven in some points and managed to get to the platform that Natsu and the Triple T Guild Master was on. I felt Happy shaking nervously in the pocket of my duster.
"Come on now, it was not that bad!" I joked.
"At least Natsu didn't experience what you just did and then you would have him be sick all over your boots again!" I heard the cat say.
I glared a little and remembered to when I rode the train the first time with him back in Fiore. I felt the ground rumble and looked up and saw a huge comet shoot at me. I rose my arm and used my shield bracelet to protect me and Happy. Once it had vanished, I ran forward and saw the Triple T Guild guy up against the wall screaming.
"Get away from me you psychotic dragon!" he yelled.
I guess this guy is a whimp, well Fairy Tail does have wizards that can use dragon magic that is way beyond my own reach and my idea of dragons.
"You hurt Happy you bastard so you must pay!" Natsu yelled and it felt more like a roar, which it pinned the guy to the wall.
"Come on man! I was just playing with him so you can show your strength!" the guy yelled.
He roared again and it sent a huge fireball and it caused a major lightning effect from the Layline. I felt the ground shake and then Happy yelled, "Look out!"
I saw a boulder from the ceiling fall at me and then I used parcore to get out of the way and then yelled, "Glacius!"
A sheet of ice formed and we landed on it to cushion the fall a bit.
"That was close." Happy said.
I noticed Natsu a lot closely and saw that he took on more of a demonic form, whi8ch his hair was spikey like Goku when he hits Super Seiyan and his hands were forming clasws like a dragon. I did notice his fangs were more elongated.
"Natsu!" Happy yelled and was about to get out of my coat pocket but I pushed him back down. "No! I need to go to him!"
"Stay down! He is not the Natsu you know right now!" I yelled.
I did see that he didn't hear the cat due to how much he changed and I had a feeling the Layline did it to him along with the Summer power inside.
"Shit." I muttered and then felt Winter start to rise and then a bit of warmth and saw the runes on my staff glow a bright blue. "Soul Fire?"
"Huh?" Happy asked.
"I think it's reacting to how I feel along with Winter." I said and looked at Natsu and the Triple T guy. "With this I am fired all up!"
I stepped forward and yelled, "Forarzare!"
It hit Natsu and he turned and I sent some of the blue flames and he roared. He then spotted me and went after me, which I finally got his attention from the guy who probably had his pants darkened if he had any under that cloak.
I managed to dodge but felt a bigger flame come at me and then used my shield bracelet again and the blast launched me far and I landed hard on the ground. I heard Natsu make a deep growling sound as he came and then out of nowhere I hear, "Winter Make LANCE!"
Natsu roared as he was hit by Grey's magic.
"Harry!" I heard Lucy.
"I will be okay!" I managed to say.
I felt the warmth of someone's magic and woke up to see Wendy using her healing magic.
"Looks like we made it in time!" I heard Erza.
"Natsu…he…took on the Layline and he changed into that!" I said.
"Great! Looks like we have a major fight on our hands!" Thomas exclaimed.
Gajeel held up his hand and said, "Wenddy, are you up for a fight?"
She looked at Natsu who was fighting Grey and noticed how Grey was losing a bit but more ice was coming.
"Yeah, he is a Dragon Slayer and the only of bringing him back is with our own magic!" she said.
"Are you sure about that?" Butters asked.
I stood up after my healing session was done and said, "Well, it should be done! Who knows what good we can do if we don't have the means of snapping him out of it!"
"What about our magic?" Fix asked since I know what he was talking about.
"I failed, I'd rather trust the only other two Dragons in this world." I answered and nodded towards Gajeel and Wendy. "Do what you can! I will come behind and try and use Happy again!"
"He can't hear me!" he said from the comfort of myt pocket.
"I will find a way! I seen you guys not give up before you went to Faerie, we won't here either!" I said. "Besides, Natsu's your friend and we will get him back!"
"Aye!" he exclaimed.
I turned back to the two and said, "Let's do this!"
They nodded and we ran ahead and with what we may pull may either give us the Hail Mary we need or will kill us it will be GAME OVER for us all.

Hey guys! Had to pop in with another commentary! Well, it looks like the final fight is here and soon the ending will come. I know you're surprised with my Goku reference but I thought it was appropriate, my explanation would be probably Butters let him borrow some manga. Sorry Dresden fans, that is the only idea I can come up with that part! Well, stay tuned for Chapter 39!
