Oh wow, a lot has happened. First, my last day of high school classes and my last social studies test (diploma exam) are now finished. Right after that, I went to a fundraiser where my super long hair and I was the main attraction and let's just say that I'm now bald! -_- *sigh* The hair will be going to make wigs for cancer patients and the money will be going to the cross cancer institute, so that's awesome... I'm just not used to being bald! Anyway, now it's time for me to go to a yearly town-wide festival that involves everything from a rodeo to a parade to amusement park rides. Not only that, but on Sunday, I have a family reunion that I have to go to and let's just say that I'm NOT getting away from there sober. UGH! Then, if that wasn't enough, I'll have my physics diploma exam and then I have to go and apply for a job that will likely take most of my time if things work out the way that I expect them to. ALL IN ONE FREAKING WEEK! Oh my gosh, this is so much. I know that I probably shouldn't be telling you guys all of this, but damn it, I'm freaking bald now, so IDGAF! Anyway, I'd better get to responding to the guest reviews before this escalates even further. However, the only guest reviewer this time was The Drone, so I'll just respond to them right now: The deku tree died in all of the timelines, but you can't forget the deku sprout, now can you? It's kind of obvious that it retains all of the memories of the original deku tree, though, because he was able to tell the hero of time about how he ended up in the forest. Therefore, I simply assume that the old deku tree body eventually decomposed and then the new one simply grew in its place... except for in the defeated timeline. I think Ganondorf kinda ruined everything for that poor world. :/ Anyway, I do support the theory of the sky temple in TP being an ancient skyloft because there's just too many reasons to support it and too few to disprove it. Just think of this dungeon as the very same location, but with the ooccoo having moved out, or something, because I didn't write them in. Finally, please see above for how busy my schedule has been, therefore, I only saw bits and pieces of E3. While I did see the trailer for Zelda Wii U, I specifically avoided anything about hyrule warriors because I want to prevent spoilers. I hope that this has answered your questions and I hope that you enjoy this week's chapters.

Alright, now please enjoy! :D

Chapter 37: Dislocation

We entered the building in the sky without too much of an issue. One major thing that I noticed about the place, though, was that it looked like it could fall apart at any moment. I asked the other Links what we would do if something like that happened, but the only response that I got back was knight Link joking about possibly using our big, floppy hats as parachutes. Obviously, neither of them wanted to think about it because it was such a frightening thought. Frankly, though, I didn't blame them!

Eventually, we came across an area that seemed to have a great many floor tiles that looked very decrepit. However, there was also a door on the other side that we needed to get to, so we didn't really have much of a choice. I personally volunteered to go first, but the other Links stopped me. Although I immediately pointed out to them that if I fell, then I could easily just use my double hookshots to recover.

At this, they both looked at me and finally agreed. As soon as I stepped on the first tile, though, it began to sink very slowly. Therefore, I immediately stepped back! Then, something caught me off guard: the tile started to rise back up! I looked at it confused, but then future Link spoke up and stated that if all of the tiles were like that, then all that we had to do was be quick about it. I then nodded and took a look out at the tiles, planning a route.

As soon as I had a seemingly solid route planned out in my head, I headed off. In my running across, my feet barely even touched some of the tiles and I began to seriously expect the flooring that was underneath me to fall away. With that expectation in mind, I made it to the other side without a single problem. Future Link quickly followed behind, taking the same path that I did, but a problem quickly arose. Knight Link was right behind future Link!

It was alright for one person to go at a time, but two people at once would spell trouble without a doubt. The thing was that it didn't give to flooring enough time to rise back up! Not to mention the fact that future Link was confident enough move a little slower and more carefully. Thankfully, though, knight Link became aware of this about halfway through and started trying a different path. Granted, this worked for a little while, but things began to turn sour again when knight Link found himself cornered!

Future Link had just reached my location by the time that I had sprung into action in order to help knight Link. I used one of my hookshots to get over to where he was, but I hung on to the ceiling that was above him. Looking down, I saw that he was just about to fall through, so I fired my other hookshot down towards him for him to catch. Unfortunately, after he did so, I heard a loud thunk above me and I looked up to see that the part of the ceiling that I was latched on to was falling off!

I barely thought about what I did after that, but I still detached the hookshot that had been holding knight Link and me to the ceiling from that spot. The last thing I needed was that large piece of stone falling onto my head! As soon as I did this, knight Link seemed to panic a bit and future Link got very wide-eyed. However, I quickly reoriented myself and sent the free hookshot hurtling towards future Link. Fortunately, he caught on fast and grabbed it without much of a problem. It was a bit of a pain when the rest of the falling block in the room fell away after being touched by the chains, but it actually worked out pretty well because it ended up with the three of us in our respective places of the chains in a straight line.

There was a pause as the realization of what just happened hit us. Afterwards, future Link let out a very worried and strained laugh while knight Link readjusted himself so that he wouldn't fall. Meanwhile, I could have sworn that I had a dislocated shoulder or something, but I still held on and started having the chains retract. When I found that I couldn't move the hand to do that with the hookshot that held knight Link, I came to the conclusion that something had popped. That didn't stop me, though, from bringing myself up to future Link and having him help me up.

Knight Link was left dangling for a while as I had to use my then free hand to operate the second hookshot and bring him up. I quickly became very thankful for the brace that held my hand in there when the chain was outstretched. When knight Link finally got up, he gave me an amazed and concerned look. Soon enough, I had future Link looking at my arm and discovering that, yes, it was dislocated! Honestly, I could only sigh and clench my teeth as knight Link popped it back into place for me. Of course it would be me, the weakest one of us, who would sustain an injury like that.

Either way, just before we moved on, knight Link told future Link and me that he would never do something like that again and he apologized just to me. I told him that it was alright, considering that he hadn't seen it coming until it was too late. I then got up and started walking along with the others behind me. As we walked, I tried my best to ignore the lingering pain from the dislocation. After all, the others would probably be able to easily walk away from it like it was nothing, so I had to do my best to keep up, right?
