''Henry can you get your Storybook?'' Emma asked and Henry got his bag.

''Why do you need it?'' Herny asked as he handed the book to Emma.

''I'm looking for someone from your mom's past.'' Emma explained.

''There are three men that were important if that's what you mean.''

''Do you know?'' Emma asked surprised.

''Of course, I read this book many times. Including mom's story.''

''Right.'' Emma said, ''So who are they?''

''Well there's her father, Henry and Daniel and Leopold.''

''Cora wants to bring someone back Regina doesn't like so who could it be?''

''Mom doesn't like me talking about Leopold because she said he's a bad man but Mary Margaret told me that mom was lying so I'm not sure.''

''Say Leopold is a bad man like Regina, why bring him back?''

''He's not going to hurt mom, is he?'' Henry asked worried.

''I hope not.'' Emma sighed.

Regina was starting to get hungry and exhausted. She had no idea how long she'd been here. When she heard someone coming she got ready to put up a fight even though she knew her mother was stronger. When the door finally opened Regina expected her mother or Leopold to walk in but they didn't.

''Rose?'' Regina said, worried and relieved.

''Mom?'' Rose stepped forwards to hug her mother. Regina wrapped her arms around her.

''How did you get here? Did my mother hurt you?'' Regina asked as she put both hands on Rose's cheeks.

''No. I saw them walking out of this building and I went inside to find you.'' Rose explained.

''You have to go.'' Regina said.

''Wha- why?'' Rose asked.

''My mother can't see you.'' Regina said.

''I'm not leaving without you.'' Rose argued.

''You have to, I can't leave. Please.'' Regina pleaded.

''I can't leave you here with them, what do they want? Who is that man?'' Rose asked.

''It doesn't matter. What matters is that you get out. You have to do something for me.'' Regina said.

''It does matter. Are they going to hurt you? Is your-'' Rose started but Regina interrupted.

''Rose. Look at me. Go to Emma. Tell her to go to my vault and find my mother's heart. Then go to Gold's. Tell him he needs to say Cora's name with the candle over her heart. He'll know what it means. Tell him in return I'll do anything he wants. Now go.'' Regina pushed Rose to towards the door.

''I don't understand. Please don't make me leave you here.'' Rose begged. She didn't want to leave her mother alone with them.

''The only way you can help me is by doing what I just told you.'' Regina said and Rose nodded. ''I love you.'' Regina told her.

''I love you too.'' Rose said before turning around and running out.

''Emma.'' Rose said when she ran into the apartment.

''Emma's not here.'' David told her.

''Where is she?'' Rose asked, still out of breath.

''At the station. Why?'' Mary Margaret asked.

''I found my mom but she's with this man. I think he's going to hurt her but she wouldn't tell me who it is.'' Rose said. ''I have to go to Emma.'' Rose continued and started to walk out.

''Wait. I'll drive you.'' David offered.

''Emma.'' Rose said once they reached the station.

''Rose, where have you been?'' Emma asked as she put her arms around Rose. Rose was taked back by this but soon regained composure.

''I found my mom but she can't leave. She told me you have to go to her vault and get her mother's heart. Then go to Gold's and tell him to say Cora's name over her heart with a candle. She said Gold would know what to do. She also said she would do anything for Gold in return.'' Rose rambled but Emma understood.

''Let's go.'' Emma said, walking out followed by Rose and Henry.

''So my mom is okay?'' Henry asked and Rose nodded before mumbling ''for now.'' but Henry didn't hear that.

''Regina, how are you?'' Leopold asked as he walked in. Regina ignored him.

''It's been a while for you hasn't it. For me it's been yesterday.'' Leopold smirked.

''What the hell do you want?'' Regina spat.

''Isn't it obvious? I want you dear.'' Leopold said, walking over to Regina.

''Sorry. I'm taken.'' Regina said sarcastically.

''Yes. Your mother told me about that blonde and a girl.'' Leopold looked disgusted.

''Well sorry but we live in the 21st century. You're gonna have to keep up with what's new.'' Regina said.

''Good thing you're back with me again.'' Leopold said.

''Depends on your defenition of good.'' Regina mumbled. However leopold heard this and Regina felt his hand connect with her cheek.

''Have you not learnt anything while I was gone?'' Leopold spat.

''Gold we need your help.'' Emma said as she stormed in.

''How may I help you? Gold asked. Emma explained what Regina had told Rose.

''I can help you with the candle, however I can't help you with the rest.'' Gold said.

''Why not?'' Emma asked confused.

''Because whispering Cora's name over her heart with the candle will cause her to die the next time she has her heart back.'' Gold started, ''I'm trying to change, for Belle. No matter how much I'd like to make a deal, I won't to that. My heart can't go blacker than it aready is. It would ruien my one chance at trying to change.'' Geold finished.

''So the person that kills Cora will have a dark heart?'' Emma asked, still confused.

''Not exactly. This deed will darken their heart but it won't go completely dark. It would take a lot more bad deed to get a heart as dark as mine, or Regina's.'' Gold said, placing the black and white candle on the counter.

''Then I'll do it.'' Emma stated.

''You can't!'' Henry said. ''You're the savior. You have the whitest and purest heart. If you darken your heart we won't have a savior anymore and I don't want to think what could happen then.''

''What do you suggest?'' Emma asked.

''I'll do it.'' Rose said.

''Hell no. First off I don't want you to blacken your heart. Second, you mother would kill me.'' Emma said.

''It'll be okay.'' Rose said, grabbing the candle.

''No. I won't let you do this.'' Emma said. ''There must be another way.'' Emma said, looking at Gold.

''The girl's right. There aren't many people that would do something like that for Regina. Your boy's right too, you can't let your heart get dark. That leaves you with not many options.'' Gold said. When Emma turned around Rose was already holding the candle over Cora's heart, one side was already burning.

''Rose no.'' Emma said but Rose lighted the other side too.

''It'll be okay.'' Rose promised and she bowed down.

''Cora.'' Rose said over the candle.
