Yu came forth from nothing just as he had disappeared from nothing, leaving Saki to give a sigh of relief. Teddie looked up at her curiously then back to Yu who was looking pale. "Sensei, what happened in there? You look all sick." Teddie ran up to Yu and grabbed at his face, making Yu have to bend over so Teddie could study him. "Did the long nosed guy do something? Grr! I just can't bear the thought that someone would hurt you anymore then you've already have been sensei!"

Gently taking Teddie's paws off of himself, Yu sighed "I don't know... he didn't do anything per se... but I'm feeling kind of freaked out. He said he'd tell my fortune and showed me the Tower..." Yu ran a hand over his head and sighed. "From what I remember it's not exactly a good thing. Maybe there's another meaning with it though..." Yu began to look down contemplatively, his face zoning out.

Smirking Saki walked over to Yu and began to walk him over to Daidara's. "Best you do that thinking indoors. Don't want you to get sick from being out in the rain." Yu nodded, but didn't respond. He just let Saki walk him back to the shop. After sitting him down she sighed and ran a hand through her soaking wet hair. "So... I should probably be heading home. But if you need anything I can stay Yu-chan."

"Thanks Saki, I think I'm good right now. I just... need to think. About everything." Yu crossed his arms and cocked his head. "We need to make a plan for meeting my shadow..."

"That's good, but you might want to get some rest. Hopefully tentacles won't come flying out of the television and drag you away to some hellish domain of your own creation." Saki grinned as Yu slowly looked over at her. "It's a definite possibility."

Nodding his head, Yu began to tap the side of his face. "Hmm... good point. But what can I do? Use Teddie as a guard?"

Teddie was busily messing with the sales counter while Daidara just watched him with a tense posture. When Yu mentioned him, Teddie swirled his head about and ran over to him. "What? I can totally do that! Please sensei! Let me prove that I can actually help you. I want to be more then your carrying bag!" Teddie bowed to Yu and grabbed at his knees. "Please, please, please, please, please..."

Yu groaned and leaned back into his chair, Saki smirked and leaned against the wall. "He's gonna keep saying that till you say yes."

"Please, please, please, please..."

Rubbing his temples Yu shut his eyes and began to breath heavily. There was a slight twitch to his left brow, which made Saki snicker a bit. Clapping his hands together he shocked both Teddie and Saki, drawing everyone's attention. "If you were my bodyguard, I'd probably be dead."

"Eewha?!" Teddie's mouth dropped and his eyes shimmered with tears.

"Wow, cold dude." Saki looked over to Teddie who began sobbing grossly. "Hey... if he's hollow inside where do the tears come from... come to think of it where does the voice come from... where..." Saki grabbed her head and grimaced. "You know what, forget it. I don't think its worth the migraine."

Teddie gave a loud sniffle and began to rub his eyes. "You guys are mean! Wa ha ha haaaa!" Teddie's tears began to arc cartoonishly in the air leaving Saki to gawk in confusion. Yu just stared with an apathetic glare and sighed defeatedly.

"Look, its a bad idea that you be my guard but... how about you act as an alarm clock. If anything weird happens wake me up. Got it?" Yu flinched back when Teddie launched himself at him. "Gaw!"

"Oh sensei! I'll do my best!" Teddie kept crying with a smile on his face, even as Yu began to push him off.

"Why is it every other time it's so easy to send you flying?" Yu groaned as he struggled to pry the bear off of himself. Finally, after straining his arms a bit, he got Teddie off making him fall on his back. Which sent the cartoonish mascot character into another fit of crying. "Oh... Teddie..." Yu held his forehead and sighed again.

Saki snickered again and held a hand close to her mouth to hide her encroaching smile. "Well, you know its nice that Teddie can really help change the mood from dire to ridiculous." Upon saying this Saki found herself with an agitated looking bear in front of her. "Wow... you're like one of those punching dummies..."

"Your implication of violence and insult to my intelligence aside, what do you mean I make everything ridiculous? I'm a very serious bear I'll have you know." Teddie gave a sneaky grin and began to to pose. "I can be a real terror if I have to be."

Saki raised her hand to respond but shook her head. "Whatever Teddie..." Saki grew quiet, her eyes looking past Teddie into the rainy night ahead of her. "I... really should be getting home." Saki bowed her head to Yu and, with a crestfallen look, began to head out. Before she headed out, Saki turned her head to Yu and smiled warmly at him. "Stay safe okay?"

Nodding his head, Yu stood up and bowed to Saki. "I'll do my best to keep myself from harm Saki-senpai."

With a small smile Saki nodded her head and began to head out, before she left however she froze as her eyes fell upon Daidara who was looking at her with a knowing stare. Her face went pale as she watched him nod his head. "Night." She left the blacksmith shop, but stopped for a moment. Turning around she stared up at it and began to back away from it. Looking at it for just a few more seconds she gritted her teeth and sprinted off down the watery street.

Her socks had become completely waterlogged, and by the time she reached her home she could feel the water swishing and squishing underneath her toes. She stared quietly at the alcohol shop, holding herself tightly. Gulping she headed towards the house and gingerly opened up the door. All the lights were out, but Saki caught the smell of an opened bottle of sake. Her face darkened and she entered into the shop, letting the door softly shut behind her.

She stood for a few minutes just lingering by the door, her hair dripping droplets down into the body of water that was slowly forming below her. Letting out a heavy breath she began to take off her drenched coat and hung it on the hooks that were by the door. Lifting up one foot she took of her soaked shoe and then did the same with the other. Placing them under the coat, which was still dripping, she sighed and then began to take her socks off.

"What have you been up to at this hour..." a grumbling voice swam through the air. Saki didn't stop as the voice hit her ears. Once her socks were off she began to wring them out. "It's raining pretty hard tonight... now why would me darling little girl be out this late with two guys, and one in a bear suit no less."

"It's a personal matter. You don't-" Saki flinched when she heard the sound of two hands slamming against wood.

"Personal?! Personal?! I guess the sudden loss in our stock is personal too?"

Saki slowly turned around and looked into the darkness where she could make out a shadowed figure sitting by the sales counter. "So you know then."

"Saki, I count our stock, you had to know that I'd notice a sudden loss of product." Sighing her father leaned over on to the counter, his elbow knocking a bottle over and sending it to clatter and roll about on the floor. "Why... why are you doing this to us?" Her father began to let out a choked sob, his face rolling on the counter. "Why... why..."

Her eyes looked down to her bare feet which stood in the puddle of water. Her hands clenched together so hard they began to become white. With her lips clenched she looked away from her father and looked over at some more of the liquor that was set up nearby.

Her father slowly raised his head, shaking it slowly as he did. "Were you giving them some of it..."

"No. It wasn't them. They were just friends who needed some help." Saki looked back to her father who had his head hanging down, not even looking at her. Taking a deep breath she raised a hand to her face and placed a strand of hair back in its proper place. "I've only given away fifteen."

"Only?! Only?! Are you serious?" her father grabbed at his head and let out an intimidating snarl which actually made Saki cringe back a few steps. "You realize what you've done? We're already doing shit as it is when it comes to sales! Your stealing product isn't helping us any at all Saki!" Sniffling her father rubbed his nose and began to look over to wall to his side. "Who was it?"

"I... I don't know if I should say." Saki cringed as she heard her father slam the counter again.

"Tell me now, or I swear you are going to quit that damn job at Junes!"

Saki's face paled. "But how else am I going to make enough money for college?"

"How else are we going to pay back for all that product you wasted!"

Saki looked down angrily, tears welling in her eyes. "It was the principle. I bribed him so he'd push the first exams back a bit."

"Why?" her father's hands clenched at his face and he began to shake it. "Were you really doing so poorly?"

Saki flushed and she began to nod her head. "Yeah, I... I hadn't been doing much studying so I wanted to buy myself some more time."

Her father scoffed and he leaned back into his chair. "You did about how you usually do on these tests... wouldn't say it was worth it." Leering over at her he crossed his arms. "I hope you know your not going to get off for this. Not by a long shot."

"I'll pay you back... I swear dad. I'll use the money I get from-"

"Here. You'll use the money that you get from here."

Lifting her head up and staring right at her father Saki cocked her head. "What?"

"You are going to be working off your debt by working here. No more Junes until after we get paid back for all that product you wasted, with interest." Crossing his arms, Saki's father glared over at his daughter who stared dumbly at him. "We love you Saki... your mother and I really do. But I swear if you do something like this again. If you even make me think your doing something like this again. You are out of this house. No allowance, no anything. Got that?"

Saki nodded her head quietly. Her hands tightly wringing the socks that were now just damp. "I hear you dad."

Her father shook his head and began to head up the stairs. "Clean up that mess on the floor by the counter... and for God's sake get to bed. No more late night excursions. We'll be talking about what you were doing with your friends when I've lost this buzz..." groaning her father shook his head and disappeared into the floor above.

With soft footsteps, Saki walked over to the fallen sake bottle which had drained out upon the wooden floor. Holding her arms she sighed and knelt down. Gingerly she picked up the bottle then placed it back upon the sales counter. " I... I don't know what I was expecting. Of course I knew I'd get in trouble but... I don't know. Maybe... I was hoping for something a bit more." Saki looked over to stairs and sighed again. "Time to find the mop..."
