Chapter 37

Hey guys how is everyone doing? I hope that good, and I also hope that y'all had fun during the holidays I kind of did. So here is chapter 37. Finally. I am so sorry for not updating but I have a few new ideas that I had to do before I forgot them, but I will continue to update this story.

I will try to update once or twice a week but I do promise that at least it will be once a week. I do not own any of the twilight characters but I do own the ones that I have created. With that said I will now leave you guys to the chapter.

KARLA'S POV

Alice was about a foot away from me. She tried slapping me, but I blocked her.

Most of my training was in the areas of balance, speed, and skills.

Alice tried hitting me with both of her arms, but I did a side flip. Alice laughed.

I ran a little and started doing front flips, then before doing my last flip; I put more pressure on my feet and jumped higher. Then I spin twice, and landed on Alice's shoulders.

Alice laughed, and I laughed with her. Then she held up her hands, and I put mine in hers.

I got off her shoulders with a flip. I landed in front of Alice, and Alice hugged my shoulders. I hugged her back.

Alice laughed again and I laughed with her.

Even though I only knew the Cullens for a day, I already loved them.

Then Alice froze beside me.

"Alice? Alice are you alright?" I asked.

In a matter of seconds we were surrounded by everyone.

A hand on my shoulder made me gasp.

"Gisselle don't!" Edward said.

But it was too late.

We were still surrounded by the Cullens, but I could barely see them as I saw that I was running.

My eyes were a golden color.

Jace was running behind me.

We were running at a speed that was not humanly possible.

Gisselle and Edward were right behind us.

Then we stopped and we were in the sunlight.

Alice was there also. Edward and her were in the sunlight and they were sparkling. As if they were made of diamonds.

I looked down at my skin and I could see my skin also sparking.

A human wouldn't be able to see it.

Then I was with Alice. I had one arm around her shoulders and we were both sparkling, but I was sparkling less than her.

We looked like sisters. We were laughing. We looked happy.

Then it was over.

I gasped and looked around and saw that I was still at home. I looked at Edward and saw that he had a look of horror.

What was that? What was going to happen?

"It was a vision." Edward said.

"But why was I sparkling?" I asked looking down at my skin to see if I could see the diamonds.

"I don't know. Things change based on decisions." Edward said.

"But I was different. Jace was different." I said.

Edward sighed. "Alice's visions change. The future is always changing. All we have to do is wait and see what happens." Edward said.

I swallowed and nodded.

He was right.

Novalee came out running from the house. "Jace!Karla!" She yelled.

We ran to her.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but we just got a call." Novalee said.

I looked at her and smiled. I started jumping up and down. Then I stopped as I realized that everyone was watching me. "Oh no! I'm turning into Alice." I said.

Alice hugged my shoulders and laughed.

I smiled. "Are my parents gone?" I asked.

Novalee nodded. "Everyone already left. It's just us." She said.

"Alright. Let's go to the training building to get ready." Jace said as the others joined us.

They went into the training room.

I turned to look at Esme. "I'm sorry. I feel like im taking advantage of y'all, but could y'all watch the children?" I asked.

Esme and Carlisle smiled.

Carlisle put a hand on my shoulder. "Go." He said with a smile.

I smiled and gave him a hug. "Thank you so much." I said.

"Karla!" Jace said.

"I'm coming!" I said before I let go of Carlisle and ran inside the training building.

ALICE'S POV

We watched as Karla ran to the training building.

"That was a close one." Edward said.

We nodded.

After last night, Gisselle had told everyone the truth.

Esme sighed. "Was the vision close to the truth?" She asked.

"It just showed Karla running. Jace was right behind her. Karla was smiling and looked back and that is where Gisselle and Edward are behind them but with a little distance in between. They were all in the sunlight, and I was there also. She looked down at her skin and she looked as if she was made of small diamonds." I said. I went over the vision. "She had golden eyes like us, and the speed. When I was with her, we were laughing and hugging each other. She was pale but not like us." I said.

Carlisle sighed. "It revealed something and it poked her curiosity." He said.

I nodded.

"We should head inside. It should start raining soon." Gisselle said.

We nodded and ran inside the house.

KARLA'S POV

I went inside the training room to find five shadowhunters marking each other.

Jace looked up and came to where I was. He took off part of my gear and started marking me.

I noticed that he didn't mark me with the sight mark. I put my gear back on and then I marked him. During the pregnancy, I learned about the marks, and how to mark someone or myself. When I was done, Jace put on his gear.

Novalee went to put her hand inside the blue vase.

The walls turned, and the floor split into two. Then two large tables came up that were full of weapons.

I went to grab two swords, and tied them to my belt so they would hang to my sides. I grabbed a silver nine millimeter and I put in on my belt. I also grabbed a silver forty five and got two clits for each gun. I also grabbed two seraph blades and I put them on my belt.

I sighed. This was going to be the first time that I was going to be fighting demons or forsaken.

"Alright lets go." Jace said.

I grabbed two daggers and put them on the back of my belt. "Jace, I'm going to go check on the children really fast." I told him.

Jace nodded.

I ran out of the training room and towards the house.

Everyone was in the living room.

"Hey, I just came to say that we're leaving." I said.

"Wow, now you look different with all of those weapons. You look sort of dangerous." Emmett said with a smile.

I laughed. "Alright I'm leaving cause they are waiting for me." I said running to the front door.

"Hey, Karla?" Alice said.

I turned around. "Yes?" I asked.

"Good luck." She said.

I smiled and nodded. "Thanks." I said before I opened the front door and ran the Skyline. I got on the passenger seat and put on my seatbelt.

Jace shifted into first gear and he put his foot on the gas.

I pulled my hair up and tied it into a ponytail. "So where are we going?" I asked.

"We got a call from a place that is kind of close to here. There is some demon and forsaken activity." Jace said.

I nodded.

Thirty minutes later.

Jace parked in front of a two story building.

It looked old and abandoned.

We got out of the cars and closed the doors. Then we went to the front of the house. We were about to start going in but Jace stopped us.

Jace took out his sensor. "There's definitely demon activity here." He said.

"High or low?" Matt asked.

"Low." Jace said.

"Low for you or low for us?"Matt asked.

"Low for me." Jace said.

Matt sighed.

I smiled and took one of my swords out.

"Matt and Imogen, take the first floor. Novalee and Uriel, take the second. Karla, Jared and I will take the roof." Jace said.

Everyone nodded.

Jace and I ran to the stairs and we started going up. We made it to the second floor, and we found another flight of stairs after we went through a door. We went up, and then we put our backs against the wall.

I got my sword out.

"Damn it full up here." Jace whispered looking put the small window the door had.

"We can take them as long as they don't corner us. Well until we wait for the rest to get up here." I said.

Jace nodded. "Stay close." He whispered.

I nodded.

Jace opened the door slowly and we got out carefully trying not to make nay noise.

I followed Jace and the door started to close.

"The door." Jace whispered.

I turned around to grab it but it closed loudly. "Damn it!" I whispered. I turned around and saw that the demons and forsaken turned around and started coming for us.

"Remember to stay close!" Jace yelled.

I nodded as I took my other sword out.

One demon was coming towards me.

I ran to it and slashed it, but then it started to get back together. I swallowed and I put both of my swords away. I grabbed my seraph blade. "Michael!" I said as the demon came towards me again.

The seraph blade came alive and started glowing a blue color.

The demon jumped and I sliced its head off. This time it didn't got back together.

There was a forsaken to my right, but Jared attacked it.

The door opened and Novalee, Uriel, Matt, and Imogen came in and started attacking the demons.

Okay guys I am going to leave it there I am so sorry for taking so long to update but I've been busy with the rest of the stories but don't worry I am still writing this one. I barely have half of the story written. I wanted to thank my new followers for following this story and I wanted to thank everyone that has put this story as their favorite. It means a lot.
