The ceremony was to be held in the late afternoon with the reception in the evening. Sakura was busy preparing her own lunch when she heard the doorbell ring; she groaned and ran out to get the door, opening it to let Chii in who was then followed by Freya.

"Sorry, I'm in the middle of making lunch-can you hold on one moment?" Sakura asked as she scooted back into the kitchen.

"Of course." Freya smiled.

The doorbell rang again. "Freya, could you get that please?" Sakura called out from the kitchen.

"Yes darling."

Freya walked over to the door and opened to reveal Lisa and Kanna, two of Sakura's close friends. They entered and Sakura poked her head around the corner to see who had walked through the door and smiled.

"Hi, thanks for coming." She smiled.

"No problem." Lisa smiled.

Sakura finished cooking and walked out to sit with the girls while she ate her lunch.

"So what still needs to be done?" Lisa asked.

"I just need to pick up the dresses and the flowers. The hairdresser is due to arrive any moment." Sakura replied. Just as she ended her sentence, the doorbell rang again. Sakura stood up, placing her empty plate on the table, and answered the door.

Standing on the doorstep was a young woman with her dark straight blue hair pulled back into a ponytail. She had hazel eyes and was dressed in a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans and in her hands she held two large cases.

"Hi-Stephanie, right?" Sakura greeted, stepping to the side to let her in.

"That's me. And you're Sakura?" the young woman smiled.

"Yes. Thank you for coming today." Sakura said as she closed the door.

"No problem. Who would you like me to start with?" Stephanie asked.

"I need to go out and pick up the flowers and dresses. Why don't you start with Lisa?" Sakura suggested.

"Sure. Where's the bathroom?" Stephanie asked. "It will be easier to do the work in there."

"Down the hall and to the right." Sakura replied.

Stephanie made her way down the hall and found the bathroom easily, and she re-entered the room.

"Well Sakura, since you're the bride what were you thinking of having done for their hair?" Stephanie asked her.

"Well they all have long hair-maybe something with curls? I was thinking they could have most of it up with the loose strands curled." Sakura said.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do." Stephanie smiled.

Lisa stood up and walked down the hall with the hairdresser. Sakura looked to the other two girls who were sitting patiently on the couch, "Do you mind if Freya and I go and pick up the flowers and dresses?" She asked.

"Go ahead." Kanna replied cheerfully, "I'll make tea for the two of us."

"Tea sounds lovely." Chii smiled.

"Great, I'll see you two shortly then." Sakura smiled.

Sakura then left with Freya and headed out to pick up the flower bouquets and the gowns; she was back within the hour, and when she got back she found that Lisa already had her hair done and Kanna was in the middle of having hers styled. As she walked through the door carrying an armful of bouquets, Chii couldn't help but giggle.

"Here, let me help you." She said, standing up and taking two of the bouquets from Sakura's arms.

"Thanks," She said.

"Let's find some vases for these, shall we?" Lisa suggested as she walked into the kitchen.

"Good idea." Sakura muttered.

They found a couple of vases for the bouquets while Freya brought in the boxes with the gowns in them and placed them on the couch so that Sakura could decide what to do with them. Kanna walked out with her hair finished and Chii was called up.

Sakura sighed, "Should we start on make-up?" she suggested.

"Sure, whatever." Lisa shrugged.

"Cool, we can use my bathroom." She said, "Let's go."

Syaoran sat with Fai and Yuui and much to his displeasure, his parents. His parents were dressed formally for the occasion, his mother in a pale purple gown with crème lace along the neckline and the edge of the cuffed sleeves. Her hair was pinned back with a platinum clip and she wore a platinum choker around her neck with a single diamond hanging from a chain in the middle. Neither of the two royals were pleased to find their son playing poker before his own wedding, let alone with Yuui and Fai.

"You suck at this game." Syaoran muttered as Fai lost again.

"Shut up." Fai retorted.

"How can you possibly play poker before your wedding?" Rena chided.

"Oh calm down-he's just trying to relax." Yuui shrugged.

Rena sighed and shook her head.

"So…are we going to start a new game or a different game?" Syaoran asked.

"Why don't we play Pimps and Ho's?" Fai suggested.

"Sure."

His mother was utterly shocked at the name of card game as was his father.

"You're playing what?"

"Chill out, it's just a card game." Yuui said.

"Yeah, your son's just a ho." Fai said casually.

Syaoran kicked him hard in the knee and the blonde laughed. They started off the game, which ended in Fai losing and Yuui winning.

Sakura walked out from having her hair styled, all four girls standing in wait for her. Her hair had been pulled back into a bun with a braid around its base, and weaved into the braid were deep purple violets and white carnations. The other girls had their hair up with a couple of braids around the base, the loose strands hanging over the edge curled. They had glitter through their hair, unlike Sakura who's hair was clear of glitter, and just one violet and one white carnation in one side of the braid.

"Shall we get into our dresses then?" Freya asked.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Sakura replied.

"When does the limousine get here?" Chii asked.

"About an hour and a half." She replied.

Stephanie walked out with everything packed up and she was ready to leave. Sakura smiled gratefully, "Thank you for your hard work today."

"It was my pleasure." Stephanie replied.

"Thanks. Oh, I should pay you before you leave." Sakura smiled, and pulled out her purse.

She payed Stephanie and then let her out of the house, and then re-entered the lounge. Freya picked up one of the boxes and found Kanna's name written on it, and so she passed it over to her. They each found their own gown, and Sakura helped them into the dresses before Freya helped her into her own in her bedroom.

Sakura looked at herself in the mirror; she wore a deep regency coloured satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, the bodice fitted to her hips where the skirt flared out with a small train at the back. Crawling up the skirt was delicate gold embroidery of vine work, and along the neckline was pale crème lace. To hide her scars from everyone else she wore a crème lace cardigan with three quarter length sleeves, and on her feet were simple matching heels to her dress. Around her neck she wore a gold necklace with a purple crystal teardrop pendant and matching earrings in her ears. She wore minimum makeup-just a little bit of pale eye shadow and some clear lip-gloss. Freya and the other girls wore a simple lilac coloured gown that clung to the curves and hung neatly off of the hips compared to Sakura's extravagant gown, each dress the same design with minimum gold embroidery along the neckline.

"Are you ready to leave?" Freya asked with a smile.

Sakura took in a deep breath, "Yes…" she murmured.

Sakura looked out the window of the limousine and towards the large building of which her wedding would be held in. The door to the limousine opened and she stepped out; the sun was low in the sky, casting an orange glow. She began to feel nervous and was sure that everyone was already beginning to take their seats in the hall. In the mean time, she was to wait in the dressing rooms.

When it was finally time for the ceremony, Sakura met with Yuui outside the front of the doors.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I feel fine." She replied.

"Do you really?"

"I am perfectly normal!" She hissed.

He couldn't help but feel amused at her reaction, and they fell into silence. The doors opened and she walked up the isle; She looked to the front to see his parents were standing on the groom's side and as she looked briefly into the crowd she could see Chii's fiancé standing beside Chitose, Chii's mother. She smiled and turned her focus to the beginning of their ceremony as her foster father handed her over to the prince, and Sakura took Syaoran's hand.

The reception was smaller compared to the ceremony, with only friends and family invited. The newly wed couple sat one a table with Chii, Fai, and Lisa, while Syaoran's parents and Sakura's foster parents sat on a table together with Chitose. Kanna sat with a couple of people she knew quite well from when she worked with Sakura on the weekends as well as her two sisters, while most other tables were organised as groups of friends or families.

Dinner was pleasant; if it weren't for the amount of guests, it would have felt like they were just having dinner at a restaurant with some friends and a few family members.

"So what's planned for this evening?" Chii asked her friends with a smile.

Sakura looked at her with confusion, "Planned?"

Syaoran smiled, "That's a secret."

Sakura looked at him sceptically, "What have you done?"

"Calm down." He said, "Nothing too drastic."

"Nothing too drastic, he says. Like I'm going to believe that." Sakura rolled her eyes.

"If you'd like I could always ring his phone in the middle of the night." Fai offered.

"Do that and I'll gouge your eye out." Syaoran threatened.

"Ow, no thanks-that would hurt like a bitch." Fai shuddered.

"Do it anyway." Sakura smiled.

"What-no! I don't feel like losing an eye over a phone call thanks."

"Damn." Sakura sighed, "And I was so looking forward to coming up with a new nickname for you."

"Bitch."

"Yep." Sakura smiled as she picked up her wine glass.

When dinner ended and the chatter died down a little, it was time for speeches. Sakura watched as Fai walked up to the stage at the front and pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"So…anyone got a phone I can borrow?" The blonde asked.

Sakura laughed while Syaoran rolled his eyes at his friend's joke. His parents appeared amused as were Freya, Yuui and Chitose, all knowing of Syaoran's irrational fear. Most others appeared confused by the joke, unknowing of Syaoran's fear therefore not getting what Fai meant.

"We're all here tonight to celebrate the union of our two favourite individuals-well, I don't know about Syaoran with his irrational fear of phone calls." Fai began.

"Why does he have to keep bringing that up?" Syaoran complained.

"Because it's fun to pick on you." Sakura replied with an amused smile. He groaned and returned his attention to Fai.

"I still remember the day when these two started dating. To be honest I was pretty relieved-I was worried about having to introduce the two and how they would interact with each other, but I didn't have to because they just ended up meeting anyway. How Sakura didn't know he existed in our classes throughout year ten and eleven is beyond me."

Sakura muttered something under her breath about killing him later receiving a small giggle from Lisa.

"Sakura changed a lot after meeting you Syaoran, I hope you know that. She opened up more and is able to express herself more openly compared to what I had seen previously, and even though you've had some difficult times, we have watched the two of you struggle together and find ways to compromise and get through it together. You doubted yourselves, but never gave up, and I admire the relationship that you two share. I'm sure that you will continue to face many challenges in the future, even if the first is arguing over paying the bills."

"I'm going to kill him." Sakura muttered.

"Karma, my dear." Syaoran replied with a smile. She glared at him for a moment and sighed, unable to stay mad for long with his loving smile.

"With that in mind, I would also like to remind you that there are always be fun memories to be made. Congratulations and good luck for your future." Fai ended his speech and everyone applauded as he left the stage. Sakura, despite her earlier comments, stood and hugged him gratefully.

"Thank you." She said as she pulled back. "But I will make sure you drown at work."

"You're welcome."

The music started up again and Syaoran took Sakura's hand in his, "May I have this dance?" He asked softly.

She smiled, "Of course."

They danced and laughed the night away with the people closest to them, and as it reached around ten it was time for the party to end. Most guests began to leave and the couple were left with Chii and their family. Fai had to leave earlier to help get Kanna and Lisa home.

"Well, you can't hide it from her all night." Freya said as they stood out the front of the venue.

"Hide what?" Sakura asked.

Syaoran smiled, "I'm sure she can wait a little longer." He said.

"Wait for what?"

"Well I suppose you'll find out eventually." Freya sighed. She embraced her foster daughter with a soft smile, "I'm so happy for you. Remember; if you ever need anything, just give me a call."

Sakura smiled back, "Thanks. I know."

Freya then turned to Syaoran, "I know you'll take good care of her," she said as she hugged him. "Don't forget to look after yourself as well, though."

"Thank you, Freya." Syaoran returned her smile as she released him from her embrace.

"Take care of yourselves and don't get into too much trouble." Yuui said.

"Trouble?" Sakura repeated with confusion.

"Oh yeah, heaps." Syaoran rolled his eyes with sarcasm.

The blonde smiled, "We better be leaving. Have a good night." He said.

"Likewise. Thank you for coming." Syaoran replied.

"I should be leaving also; mother and I are rather tired, but we're grateful that you invited us. Thank you." Chii smiled as she hugged her two friends quickly.

"We appreciate you coming." Sakura replied with a smile, and Chitose stepped forward.

"Forgive me for not introducing myself sooner; my name is Chitose."

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Sakura replied softly. She wasn't sure how to interact with Chii's mother and felt a little awkward.

"I'm not sure if you already know, but I knew your mother-we were close friends. I was very sad to hear that she and her husband passed away. I'm sorry for your loss, and for not coming to visit you while you were growing up under Yuui's care."

Sakura, surprised at the queen's words, was speechless. Chii appeared just as surprised. Sakura finally found her voice and she smiled, "Please, you don't need to apologise for anything, and I'm sure that my mother wouldn't want you to feel any sort of guilt; after all you had a daughter and a country to look after. Thank you for coming tonight, it means a lot to us." Sakura replied.

Chitose smiled, "You're a sweet girl, Sakura. Syaoran has chosen well."

Sakura blushed a little while Syaoran slipped his hand into hers.

Chitose and Chii left together, and so the couple were left with Syaoran's parents.

They stood in an awkward silence and Sakura shivered a little against the cold of the winter night.

"What do you plan on doing from here, Syaoran?" His father asked.

"I don't know-I haven't quite figured that out yet." Syaoran replied.

"Do you honestly have no ideas in mind?" Rena asked her son.

"If I shared what I had in mind with you, I'm fairly sure you'd disapprove." Syaoran said.

"So you won't come back to the castle and take up your duties?" His father asked.

"That all depends on whether or not you'll actually choose to accept my relationship with Sakura and get to know her." He answered.

There was an uncomfortable silence between the four and Syaoran smiled bitterly, "I didn't think so either. Give me a text when you change your minds."

Sakura smiled awkwardly, "Syaoran, really-it's ok…"

"No." he said. "It's not."

Instead of angering her son any further, Rena smiled. "I believe we should take our leave. Make sure you get plenty of rest…we'd like to hear from you every once in a while as well." She said softly.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure he calls." Sakura smiled.

"Thank you." Rena replied.

"Take care of yourselves." His father said, and they left.

Sakura looked to Syaoran, "So…what are you hiding from me?" she mumbled.

He smiled and opened the door to the limousine, "That's a secret." He said.

She rolled her eyes and climbed into the car, pulling her dress in behind her, and Syaoran slipped in beside her.

As Sakura finally realised that the ride was going longer than it should to get home, she turned to her husband and gave him a sceptical stare. "We're not going home, are we?" she said. He just smiled and continued looking out the window, refusing to answer her question. "I should already know by now that there's no point in asking when you've made up your mind to keep a secret…" she muttered to herself irritably.

He laughed, "You should, but you ask anyway." She rolled her eyes and leant her head against his shoulder instead, until they arrived at the airport. When she realised where they were she turned to him and he smiled, "Not yet."

They walked through the airport, their luggage already having gone through which Sakura thought was weird, and as they continued to the lounge and Sakura saw that no one was there she quickly noticed that there was something else going on.

"Just one more surprise tonight." Syaoran said softly.

A female flight attendant walked out and smiled, "Are you two ready to leave?" She asked.

"Yes, thank you." Syaoran replied.

"If you'd follow me." She smiled.

Sakura looked to him, knowing that most flights most definitely weren't like this, and they followed the flight attendant out; Sakura was faced with a jet, and as she walked up the steps with some assistance, she found an elaborate interior.

"Who owns the private jet?" She asked, unable to hide her surprise.

"My parents." Syaoran replied.

"I thought…"

"I suppose you could say that this is their wedding gift to us."

"Paying for our trip?"

"Yep."

"Most expensive present I've been given in my whole life." She said, still shocked.

He smiled, "Come on, let's go sit down. You can get changed into something more comfortable."

"Good idea." Sakura replied with a smile.
