37. Sarcasm
"Silvy?"
"Hm."
His face shifted towards his right, away from the novel that was in his possession, and towards the source of the voice. Metal eyes keened at the fairly small silhouette of his girlfriend standing against the patio door of her home in New Bark, lowering the printed work down slightly. He noted the small details of her stance: arms crossed over her chest; how her pigtails didn't seem to defy gravity (how she managed to pull that off was way beyond him) and instead; rested on her shoulders, and her calm face. Silver sighed quietly, blinking. "Yes?"
She swayed her hips to Silver, who sat on one of the patio chairs that were decoratively settled towards the left of the patio door, hands clasped behind her back like a schoolgirl. When she approached him, the brunette gently extended her hand, grasping the top of the book and tugging at the book in curiosity. "Silver reading a book?" she blurted playfully, one thin eyebrow arched to match her tone. Her head dipped forward, chocolate brown eyes scanning upon the printed text from the book, upside down from her point of view.
"Yes, Silver is reading a book, it's going to rain meowths and growlithes," he chirped with aggressive sarcasm. When Lyra started to burst into a giggle fit, he pulled the book out of her grasp. "Now, if you don't mind..." he mumbled, lips giving off a faint smile, "I'd like to stay focused and get back to reading, hm?"
In a quick moment, Lyra had hopped next to him, leaning down to press her soft lips to Silver's left temple. One last giggle rang from her mouth as she pulled away. "Of course, you book-weedle."
As she stood up to skip off, his face scrunched to give off a puzzled expression. "Book-weedle?" he asked to himself, baffled. "The hell is a book-weedle?"
A/N: ... hi
I really can explain for leaving abruptly. I have been through tough times these last... five months /shot. I'm taking a load of college units, and it's really difficult for me to even pick up my laptop and write anything unless it's a ten page essay I'm always assigned to do (I know, damn English 102 T.T). So, there's that.
I've lost motivation to even write anything that isn't a college related assignment. Tbh, I almost even gave up writing fan-fiction altogether. I was down to the point where I was going to drop everything and delete my stories and account, but that wouldn't be fair to you guys. But I'm actually starting to feel that urge to write coming back, which is a VERY GOOD THING. You guys don't know how awful it is to have writer's block that is so deep it makes you upset that you can't write down a single sentence. :c I'm pulling out of there, yeah! :D
I am so so so (to the infinity power) sorry that I have been leaving everyone hanging. I've seen my inbox here FLOODED with unread messages I will get to them!
ugh, also sorry for my writing. I've grown accustom to APA and MLA argument papers, so my literature is a bit weak. rusty writing from me (ι´Д`)ノ
SO HOPEFULLY, I'LL BE COMING UP WITH SOME MORE STORIES TO WRITE! I'M STILL HERE, GUYS!
