Yu-Gi-Oh! Dissidia
In a trek through wastelands that are stained red, Kite considers the situation.
He too, wonders whether they dance on strings, set for a fate of destruction. And now, hearing of an encounter with his father, he is torn between answers and his own convictions.
Such loss of focus will surely mean his thoughts are scrambled…
Destiny Draw 42-III
The sands boiled rust red around Orbital 7's wheels as Kite drove through the wastelands.
He glanced over at Yusei, who was looking around the landscape from his Duel Runner, with Jesse squashed behind him. Kite frowned at the worried expression on Yusei's face; it seemed to be different from the look that he'd had before when he'd kept his mouth closed earlier.
He's hiding something, and more things than one, too, Kite thought with conviction. But it's no matter. According to both Bakura and Yusei, my father is hiding in the Dimensional Temple. Now I just gotta find it and take him out.
Jesse, no doubt, would be agonizing over his problem with Yubel and Jaden. It was a bit of an odd situation, Kite reflected.
They had seen a seal in the sky, one that looked familiar, but none of them had known exactly what it was. Jesse thought he'd remembered, and Yusei knew that he'd seen it before, but its name escaped him.
But according to Yusei, his father had been quite the host.
He's never been like that, Kite thought. Not even when he was masquerading as an evildoer. This is different from then, and he definitely doesn't want to be here.
His thoughts were interrupted by Yusei as the turbo duelist moved his duel runner closer to Orbital 7. "You all right, Kite?" he asked.
"I'd be better if you weren't hiding things from me," Kite retorted evenly.
Yusei looked at Kite sadly, and Kite felt a twinge of annoyance. It's just like how they kept on looking at me when I was using the Photon Transformation too much, he mused. "Just leave me alone," Kite said irritably.
Yusei hesitated, and eventually he pulled away.
Kite watched him return to the distance that he had been. Tch. I don't have time for this, he thought. Then he looked up and saw a pair of long-haired figures up ahead, and Orbital 7 rumbled as he drove over a small heap of rubble. There was debris everywhere, destroyed buildings that looked older than what Kite expected, as well as machines that looked strangely familiar. I don't have time for this either, Kite thought as the two figures came into view enough so that he could identify them.
Rex Goodwin was sitting on a pile of rubble, legs crossed and hands folded in his lap, his left sleeve rolled back to expose his mechanical arm. In a similar position sat Dartz, with a smirk on his face and his duel disk on his arm.
Perfect, Kite thought sarcastically. It's like they just show up for an excuse to fight. How do they do that anyway?
He braked smoothly and ground to a halt not five meters from the duo of corrupt businessmen. Orbital's plates retracted, allowing Kite to sit up and heave a breath.
"What do you guys want?" Kite asked angrily.
Dartz chuckled at the brash response. "Not you, young master Kite," he commented. "No, Rex and I have some business with young Mr. Anderson."
"Jesse?" Kite asked in surprise. Why is he getting so much attention?, he wondered. Surely he isn't that important…
Yusei and Jesse pulled up behind Kite.
"Goodwin," Yusei said shortly as Jesse dismounted.
Goodwin closed his eyes and inclined his head. "It's been a long time, Yusei," he said evenly.
"Save it!" Yusei yelled. "You moved on, didn't you?! Weren't you at peace?! Why are you here?!"
Goodwin opened his eyes. "Because Zorc saw fit to bring me here, as he did for all the others," he replied. "Rest assured that I did not choose a willing fate of destruction for all. However, this proves my original point: that both light and darkness will always be in collision, and that a final end to both should be sought."
"You're talkin' crazy, man!" Jesse protested. "That's not how it works at all!"
"Ah, how ironic, coming from one associated with darkness," Dartz mused snidely.
"What are you on about?" Jesse asked in confusion.
"You were possessed by a demon of darkness, bound to a king of darkness who became a monster," Dartz reminded Jesse. "Such association is likely not a coincidence, Jesse Anderson."
"Stop trying to poison Jesse's mind!" Yusei warned Dartz angrily.
Goodwin sighed. "Please, gentlemen, we are all equals here. All of us were summoned by Zorc and Horahkty to do battle, so a little decorum would not go amiss."
"If it's decorum you want, then I'd like to ask a question," Kite cut in. "Is my father really in this 'Dimensional Temple?'" he asked.
Bowing his head, Goodwin replied, "That's correct."
"Good," Kite replied. "Then if that's all, I'd like for us to get moving, but if you're going to be difficult, then I'll have to take you both out. Orbital!" he yelled, and the robot snapped into motion, transforming back into its robot form and shooting out Kite's duel disk. Kite caught it on his wrist, and then he glowed white, his black coat rippling as it became white. "Go, Photon Transformation!" he yelled as he took up a stance.
"You wish to take me on?" Dartz asked. "Fine, but only if you agree to team up with Mr. Anderson," he cautioned Kite, deploying his own duel disk.
"You're on!" Jesse yelled, hitting the deployment switch of his own duel disk.
Goodwin stood up and held out his arm. Twin blades shot out of it, and his back began to glow purple.
"Sorry, Yusei, but we need you to sit this one out," Kite told him. "You still need your rest from that battle with the psychopath."
Yusei didn't look too happy, but he nodded and he dismounted his duel runner, before sitting down and trying to find a comfortable spot.
"Let's duel!" all four duelists cried, drawing their starting hands.
"I'll begin this contest," Dartz said, drawing a card. "I summon Atlantean Attack Squad to the field," he declared, placing a card down. One of his frog-like warriors appeared, clutching a sword and a coral shield. (3/1400/0)
"I shall now place two cards face-down and end my turn," Dartz finished, slotting twin cards into his duel disk. The back images appeared one after the other.
"Then I'm up next! I draw!" Jesse called. "I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus!" he called, slapping a card down. His pale-furred friend appeared on the field with a neigh. (4/1800/1200)
"And when Sapphire is summoned, I can crystallize a Crystal Beast directly from my deck into my spell and trap zone!" Jesse added, selecting a card from his deck. "I crystallize my Ruby Carbuncle!"
A ruby appeared behind Sapphire Pegasus on Jesse's field.
"Then I'll play a face-down and end my turn there!" Jesse called, slotting the card into his disk.
Goodwin closed his eyes. "My turn," he said, drawing a card. "Since my opponent controls a monster and I none, I can special summon Oracle of the Sun from my hand!" he explained, placing a card down. An Incan spellcaster appeared on the field. (5/1000/2000)
"Then I summon the Fire Ant Ascator tuner monster!" Goodwin continued, placing another card on his duel disk. A crimson ant crawled out of a portal. (3/700/1300)
"A tuner monster?" Jesse asked.
Here it comes, Kite thought. A synchro monster on the first turn.
"I tune my level three Fire Ant Ascator with my level five Oracle of the Sun!" Goodwin declared, raising his hand high. Ascator became triple light motes, which quickly transformed into three green rings. They encircled Oracle of the Sun, causing it to fade into five light motes, through which the spear of light shot down.
"When the sun rises, it will illuminate all darkness!" Goodwin chanted. "I synchro summon Sun Dragon Inti!"
The four-headed, scarlet skinned dragon monster emerged onto the field with a roar. (8/3000/2800)
A three-thousand attack point monster, Kite thought to himself. This could be a problem.
"I'll end my turn with a face-down card!" Goodwin declared, slipping a card into his duel disk.
All right, it's finally my turn!, Kite thought to himself. "I draw!" he yelled, drawing a card from his deck. He smiled at the trap card. "First I'll summon Photon Thrasher!" he called. "I can bring him out when I control no monsters!"
Kite's glowing swordsman cut his way onto the field, brandishing his large blade. (4/2100/0)
"Then I summon my Galaxy Wizard!" Kite called. A smooth-skinned spellcaster in broad white robes and a tall hat appeared in front of him. (4/0/1800)
"Galaxy Wizard's effect activates!" Kite called. "By tributing it, I can add one Galaxy card from my deck to my hand!"
Galaxy Wizard exploded into gold dust, and a card slid out of Kite's deck. "I add Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon to my hand," Kite explained, holding up the card. "Then I'll place two cards face-down, so that we can get onto some attacking," he concluded, setting two cards into his duel disk.
Dartz chuckled at Kite's comment. "Well, if you want attacking, then I shall oblige," he declared, drawing a card. "I'll continue with the tuner monster, Deep Sea Diva!" he called, placing a card down. A woman whose lower torso was that of a scaled plesiosaur appeared on the field and she began to sing. (2/200/400)
Yusei gritted his teeth at the sight of the tuner monster.
"When this beauty of the deep is summoned, she can call forth a three star or lower sea-serpent monster from my deck," Dartz explained, fanning out his deck and selecting a card. "I call forth Atlantean Marksman," he intoned. Another of the frog-like beings appeared, clutching a crossbow. (3/1400/0)
"Now I shall tune the two star Deep Sea Diva with the three star Atlantean Marksman!" Dartz called. Singing loudly, Diva burst into twin motes, transforming themselves into green rings. They encircled Atlantean Marksman, causing it to fade into three motes. As a spear of light shot down them, Dartz called, "Come forth! Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon!"
A long-necked sea-serpent made completely out of ice appeared with a screech. (5/2300/1800)
"Since I control another deep sea menace, my Attack Squad gains eight-hundred attack points," Dartz explained, and the sea-serpent screeched as it shot up to 2200 attack points.
Dartz selected another card in his hand. "Next I shall pay five-hundred life points to call out Orichalcos Kyutora," he continued. His life points decreased to 3500 as a bluish spiky creature appeared, with a single, bloodshot eye. (3/500/500)
"Now, Dragon Lord Gishilnodon, attack Jesse's Sapphire Pegasus!" Dartz called.
Jesse froze, but he reached for his duel disk as Gishilnodon charged up its attack.
"I won't let you!" Kite yelled. "I activate the trap card, Lumenize!" As the trap flipped up, Kite explained, "This card not only negates your attack, but it also increases the attack points of one light-attribute monster I control by the attack points of your monster! So that brings my Photon Thrasher up to forty-four-hundred attack points!" Photon Thrasher glowed brightly, and its sword, which only glowed along the edges, glowed fully as it powered up.
Jesse grinned. "Nice one, Kite!" he called.
"Don't thank me yet," Kite warned Jesse. "He's still got one more monster left."
Dartz smiled. "I end my turn with that," he said.
"What?" Yusei asked from the sidelines.
"What gives?!" Jesse yelled. "Don't tell me that you're not taking me seriously!"
"I'm giving you a chance to fight back, Mr. Anderson," Dartz explained. "If I am to gauge your darkness correctly, then wiping you out quickly serves no purpose."
Kite gritted his teeth. "That's not gonna happen," he warned Dartz coolly. "I've already gone through too much effort to keep this guy out of your claws, so don't think that you'll be able to get him." He glanced sideways at Jesse. "It's your turn now, Jesse, so do what you have to," he told the North Academy duelist.
Jesse nodded, and he drew his card. He looked over at his cards worriedly, and then selected one. "I summon Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle in defense mode," he said. Cobalt Eagle appeared, folding his wings in front of his head. (4/1400/800) "Then I'll change Sapphire Pegasus into defense mode…" he added, turning the card on his disk. "…And I'll end my turn with a face-down," he finished.
Kite couldn't believe it. "Are you just going to defend yourself while Dartz picks you apart?!" he yelled. "Show some backbone, Jesse!"
"Hey, there's no need for that!" Yusei protested angrily.
Rex Goodwin shook his head sadly. They'll never amount to what Horahkty hopes if they can't control themselves, he mused to himself. "My turn!" he called, drawing a card. "I summon Apocatequil!" he declared, placing a card down. A shaman-like idol sculpted from orange wood appeared. (4/1800/1200)
"Now, Apocatequil, attack Cobalt Eagle!" Goodwin yelled. The wooden warrior leapt forward and swatted Cobalt Eagle aside with its staff.
Jesse shielded himself from the backlash. "When one of my beasts is destroyed, it becomes a crystal in my spell and trap zone!" he called. The dust of Cobalt Eagle crystallized into a rough blue gem.
Goodwin narrowed his eyes. Then the other…, he thought. "Attack! Sun Dragon Inti!" he called. Inti blasted Sapphire Pegasus with a beam of sunlight, shattering it.
Jesse slotted the card into his disk. "Once again, Sapphire becomes a crystal!" he called. A finely cut sapphire appeared in his spell and trap zone beside the cobalt.
Goodwin closed his eyes. "I end my turn," he called.
"Finally," Kite muttered. He drew a card violently. "I draw!" he yelled. "And now, Photon Thrasher, attack Sun Dragon Inti!" he yelled.
"Kite, no!" Yusei yelled, but it was already too late. The swordsman charged, slicing through the dragon with one stroke.
Goodwin smiled. "When you destroy Inti in battle, it retaliates!" he cried. "It will destroy your Photon Thrasher!"
Inti's remains glowed and then they shattered in an explosion of sunlight, atomizing Photon Thrasher.
"And you take damage equal to half of your monster's attack points!" Goodwin added.
Kite was blasted backwards, his life points falling to 2950, and he grunted in pain as he hit the ground.
"I'm not done yet!" he yelled, rising to his knees and slotting a card into his disk. "I play the spell card, Photon Sanctuary!" he called. "This card special summons two Photon Tokens, with two-thousand attack points each!" he explained, rising to his feet as two spheres of light appeared on the field. "And now I'll tribute both of my Photon Tokens in order to bring forth the monster more savage than a supernova!" Kite declared. The tokens exploded, and then their remains pooled into a red cross, which Kite grabbed and threw into the air. "A cataclysmic force of ten black holes put together, and a cosmic scourge that vaporizes anything in its path, the incredible Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!" he yelled.
With a roar, the glowing dragon emerged from the cross, flexing its muscled arms as it landed before Kite. (8/3000/2500)
"Your beast is most impressive, Kite Tenjo, but you've already finished attacking for the turn," Dartz reminded Kite.
"And you think that I'll let that stop me?" Kite asked, holding up a card. "I play the quick-play spell card, Photon Stream of Destruction!" he called. "This card will allow my Galaxy-Eyes to banish one of your cards, and I'll choose that Sea Dragon Lord of yours!"
"What?!" Dartz gasped.
"Go, Photon Stream of Destruction!" Kite yelled, as Galaxy-Eyes powered up and fired a stream of light at Gishilnodon, atomizing it.
Dartz shielded himself from the explosion, and his Attack Squad's attack points fell back down to 1400.
"I end my turn there!" Kite called.
Dartz lowered his arm, but the expression on his face was one of calmness, seemingly unrattled by the destruction of his synchro monster. "Then I shall take my turn again," he declared, drawing a card. "And this time, Mr. Anderson, I shall not be so merciful!" he warned Jesse as he placed a monster card down. "I summon Atlantean Pikeman!" he called, and another frog-like monster appeared, clutching a long and deadly spear. (2/1400/0)
"Since I once again control another sea-serpent monster, my Attack Squad gains eight-hundred attack points!" Dartz called. "Now, Atlantean Attack Squad, attack Jesse directly!" he ordered.
But this time, Jesse was ready for the attack. "I activate the trap card, Rainbow Path!" he called. "This card negates an attack at the cost of me sending a crystal from my spell and trap zone to the grave!" He slid a card into his graveyard, and the cobalt shattered. "I choose Cobalt Eagle!" Jesse called. A barrier of rainbow light sprang up and closed around Jesse, and Attack Squad lashed out futility at the barrier. It coalesced into Jesse's deck, and a card slid out from it.
"After that, I can add my Rainbow Dragon from my deck to my hand!" Jesse explained, taking the card.
"You can't block this next attack," Dartz warned Jesse. "Atlantean Pikeman, strike him now!" The Pikeman extended its spear and lunged forwards, hitting Jesse painfully in the gut and knocking him backwards.
"Jesse!" Yusei yelled in shock as the boy hit the ground and skidded to a stop. Jesse's life points fell to 2600 and he got up painfully.
"I end my turn with that," Dartz declared.
Kite watched his partner in concern. It's his turn next, and I might have gained us some ground, but I can't fight both Dartz and Goodwin at the same time!, he thought urgently. "About time you stopped napping around," Kite commented. "Look at you, you've got more reason to be fighting now than I do, and yet I'm pulling our weight around here."
Jesse sprang out of his pained crouch quickly. "I-I'm just taking a breather!" he protested.
Kite snorted. "Please. I could halve their life points in the time it's taken you to search out your ace monster," he taunted.
"All right then, I'll prove that I know how ta duel my way out of this!" Jesse said proudly, drawing a card. He smiled at his draw and slid it into his duel disk. "I play the spell card, Crystal Promise!" he called. "I special summon a crystal, and I'll bring out Ruby Carbuncle!" he called.
Jesse's partner appeared on the field, a blue-furred, cat-like creature with a ruby in its tail. (3/300/300)
"And when Ruby here is special summoned, I can call out all the crystals that I can from my spell and trap zone!" Jesse added. "So come on out, Sapphire Pegasus!" he called.
Sapphire Pegasus emerged from its jewel with a neigh.
"Sapphire's effect lets me crystallize Amethyst Cat directly from my deck!" Jesse called, and a rough amethyst materialized behind his monsters.
"I'll also summon Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise in defense mode!" Jesse called. His aqua-skinned, emerald encrusted tortoise appeared and quickly retreated inside his shell. (3/600/2000)
Dartz smiled. "Three weak monsters?" he asked. "I'm surprised, Jesse, I'm sure that such a power of darkness should be able to do better than merely that."
"Stop callin' me the power of darkness, I'm not!" Jesse protested. "Sapphire Pegasus, get ready to shave some life points off of him!"
"You won't be taking any life points from me," Dartz replied. "My Orichalcos Kyutora will absorb any and all damage from battle."
"Then I'll just have to take him out first!" Jesse called. "Sapphire Pegasus, take out his Kyutora!"
With a proud whinny, Sapphire charged forwards. "Take this!" he called, hitting Kyutora dead-center with his horn. The little rock monster shattered.
"I'll play a face-down, and I'll leave it at that," Jesse called, slotting a card into his disk. "Think you can wrap this guy up for me, Kite?" he asked.
"We'll just wait and see," Kite replied.
"In case you had forgotten, Jesse, it happens to be my turn again," Rex Goodwin warned the excited duelist. He drew his card calmly. "I summon the tuner monster, Supay!" he called. A horned mask-like creature appeared on the field. (1/300/100) "Since a tuner monster is on the field, my Apocatequil's effect makes it become level five!" Goodwin added, and the orange idol glowed yellow as its level rose.
"Next I shall banish the tuner monster, Fire Ant Ascator, from my graveyard in order to special summon Weeping Idol from my hand," Goodwin continued. A carved wooden idol appeared, holding twin staffs. (2/0/500)
He's synchro summoning a level eight monster, Yusei thought. But it's nothing that I've seen before, so just what is it?, he wondered.
"I now activate the trap card, DNA Transplant!" Goodwin called. A trap flipped up, bearing an image of three goblin doctors operating on a yellow creature. "With this trap card, I can change the attributes of all the monsters on the field to the one I select, and I choose the dark attribute!" he called.
As all of the monsters on the field darkened in colour, Kite snorted. "My strategies might involve light attribute monsters and support, but you've barely made a scratch in them," he scoffed.
"That was not my intention," Goodwin said calmly. "I tune my level one Supay with my level five Apocatequil and my level two Weeping Idol!" he declared, and Supay burst into a star that became a ring of green light, surrounding the other two monsters. They faded into seven motes of light, aligning themselves and a spear of light shot down them.
"Lord of the flies, cast your shadow over this disgusting world!" Goodwin chanted. "I synchro summon Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons!"
With a gargantuan roar, a massive dragon appeared on the field. Legless, wingless, and with stubby arms, its true power lay in the twin dragon heads that sprouted from its shoulders. Its true brain, however, lay in the upper torso of a woman with masked eyes and black hair. (8/3000/3000)
Yusei gasped at the miasma that the dragon was emitting. He pulled out his Stardust Spark Dragon card in shock and looked at it. There was no trace of it now, but Yusei knew, he knew that it was the same miasma that Stardust had been giving off when Doctor Faker had been using it. Are these dragons connected to each other?, he wondered. He knew that he'd sensed the same miasma another time, but when, Yusei couldn't remember. But it had been in this dimension; that was definite.
Kite looked at Beelze impassively. "Not bad," he admitted. "That's one nasty monster."
"Beelze requires a dark attribute tuner monster," Goodwin admitted. "But in exchange, Beelze cannot be destroyed," he explained.
Kite blanched. "What?!" he gasped.
"Attack!" Goodwin yelled. "Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons! Destroy Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon with Beelze Carnival!"
Beelze's heads surged forwards, but Kite was already reacted. "I activate Galaxy-Eyes' special ability!" he snarled. "When it battles, both it and the opposing monster are instantly banished!"
Galaxy-Eyes lit up, and it vanished from the field, as did Beelze.
"Very clever," Dartz commented.
Goodwin nodded. "Good move, Kite. But now we both have no monsters, and you'll be catching up."
"Don't patronize me," Kite warned Goodwin. "You know full well that the effect of my Galaxy-Eyes will return both of our monsters to the field once your battle phase is done."
And indeed, both dragons were reappearing on the field with twin roars.
"I'll end my turn," Goodwin said.
Kite gritted his teeth. Great, he thought. Another monster that can't be destroyed at all. I'll have to use Neo Galaxy-Eyes to take that thing out. He drew his card with a grumble.
"I'm surprised, Kite," Goodwin commented. "You're not much like your father at all."
Kite scowled angrily. "Don't compare me to my father when he's acting like that!" he yelled. "He's weak willed and foolish, and I don't know what Zorc told him to get him to serve him, but it doesn't matter! I'll have to take him out regardless!"
Goodwin was quite surprised by Kite's words, but he didn't let it show. He is still not ready. He isn't keeping everything in mind. Not yet.
Kite raised his arm. "Go, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!" he yelled. "Attack Atlantean Pikeman with Photon Stream of Destruction!"
Powering up, Galaxy-Eyes blasted a stream of light at the pikeman, atomizing it within seconds.
Dartz was pushed backwards, his life points falling to 1700. His boots carved gouges in the dust, but he remained on his feet. But he was laughing, a sneering, mocking sound that infuriated Kite.
"What's so funny?!" Kite snapped.
"You've sealed your friend's fate, young Kite Tenjo!" Dartz declared, slapping a card onto his duel disk. "Since a normal monster has been destroyed, I can call forth Orichalcos Shunoros!" he explained.
"What?" Yusei gasped.
Dartz continued to laugh as a massive jade giant rose from the ground behind him, with stubby, powerful limbs and the seal that they'd seen in the sky emblazoned in its forehead. (10/?/0)
Yusei realized in horror what had happened. "Dartz, you snake!" he yelled. "What were you doing earlier?!"
"That's what that seal was!" Jesse gasped. "The Seal of Orichalcos! That things seals away people's souls when they lose…no…you can't have!"
Kite realized what Jesse had. "If it seals souls, and Dartz is still here…" he gasped.
Dartz had stopped laughing, but now he was smiling again, and somehow, this was even worse. "Yes, that's right," he said. "I dueled Jaden Yuki using the Seal of Orichalcos."
"What happened to Jaden?!" Jesse yelled. "What did you do to him, Dartz?!"
Kite was furious as well. If he's taken out Jaden, then we need to win this duel more now than ever!, he thought, holding up two cards. "I play two cards face-down and end my turn!" he yelled, slotting them into his disk.
Dartz was grinning madly. "It's my move!" he called. "Orichalcos Shunoros's attack points are equal to one-thousand times the number of monsters that you control, and with four, it has four-thousand attack points!"
"Uh-oh!" Jesse yelped.
"Orichalcos Shunoros!" Dartz ordered. "Attack Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus! Photon Ring!"
Shunoros blasted a ring of light at Jesse's monster, and as Sapphire Pegasus whinnied, Kite only knew rage at Dartz's actions.
No more…no more! Father, I'll end this madness by taking you down!
I was out up in the Coromandel, and then I had two trips for summer school, so I haven't been able to make as much progress as I'd have liked. Sorry about that, everyone.
Anyway, to those who I have been able to answer and those I haven't…
sonofthetrigod: I do like the portrayal of psychosis. That being said, the hatred was the Thief King's, but not Yami Bakura's, necessarily.
Spyrofan777: As before, posting the answers here.
Kaiba's got Azure-Eyes already.
Probably not, because they're difficult for him to summon.
Yep. He most certainly will (I was so happy to see those). Thanks for the chant, by the way.
Maybe. To say anymore would be spoilers.
I thought about it, but ultimately decided against it. His extra deck is already full as it is, so he'll stick to Elemental HEROes and Neo Spacians.
jalen johnson: Given what's happened to Yuto now, it's very unlikely that any of the three counterparts will be the heroes…well, not primarily, but you know what I mean. Now it's a toss-up between Shun, Gong, and Shingo. Probably going to be Shingo though. I think. Think Yuto wouldn't be as prejudiced as Shun regarding Fusion though.
Peter Kim: Don't call him "Supreme King Hao," mate, that's literally calling him "Supreme King Supreme King." He doesn't technically count as a hero. Kite was ruthless, yes, but that was largely due to believing that Number Hunters were monsters. Shark too, was ruthless, but he felt what he did, all right, and arguably acted out of compassion. Yami Yugi, well, he WAS ruthless, but character development made him back into the man that he was. Kaiba again, was ruthless, and he took the cake before his Mind Crush and the shattering of his heart and its subsequent repair, but even then he has quite the lack of empathy (I think that he draws the line at death now though.) And Jack, well, he was more desperate then ruthless.
Honestly, I think that when he gets in here, Declan is going to take the prize for this one. For now, though, Kaiba.
