So the TVD series finale was underwhelming and little disappointing, so I hope to cheer you up with this chapter. Thanks to this snowstorm I actually had a chance to catch up on my writing. Hope you like it!
"Tomorrow you finally become my wife, and you'll be forced to sleep with me forever." Damon grinned as he wrapped his arms around her. He couldn't wait to become Bonnie's husband, he's been ready since the minute he fell in love with her.
"Hm." She hummed happily. She was about to become Damon Salvatore's wife. Something she thought would be an impossibility is becoming reality and she couldn't be happier about it. She was head over heels in love with Damon and all she wanted was to spend the rest of her life with him. "Tomorrow you finally become my husband." She said embracing him. "Who would have ever thought?"
"You and I definitely." He smirked. "Me getting married?" He paused. "Never. Me getting married to you." He beamed "Always." He said kissing her.
"Liar." She laughed against his lips. "You wanted to have sex with me."
"Don't pretend like you didn't want to have sex me either." He chuckled caressing her waist.
"I guess since you're going to become my husband I should confess the truth." She said sarcastically. "If you weren't being such a dick that night, I might have danced with you." She confessed. "But I'd never change our love story." She smiled leaning into him.
"Me either." He said kissing her nose. "Our life, our kids, our dogs." He laughed. "I love every part of it."
"Me too." She kissed his chest before locking eyes with him again. "I wouldn't change a thing. Even though you drove me crazy the first couple months I met you."
"I love you." He said kissing her.
"I love you too." She told him. "But we need to start heading to rehearsal." She said intertwining her fingers in his.
"Okay." He whispered kissing her again.
"They're waiting for us." She informed him
"I don't care." He mumbled before deepening the kiss.
"Damon." She said pulling away breathlessly.
"Fine." He pouted.
"Nice try with that tongue thing." She giggled as they made their way through the venue. "You almost had me there."
"Almost huh." He said cupping her face and pulling her in for another kiss.
She gripped on to his shirt and melted into him, letting herself enjoy every minute of the kiss.
He quickly pulled away which she wasn't expecting as she leaned in for more. "Uh." He said rejecting her. "They're waiting." He teased.
"You're such an ass." She laughed walking away from him.
He quickly ran after her and grabbed her from behind wrapping his arms around her waist. "I can't wait to be your husband." He confessed kissing her temple.
"I can't wait to be your wife." She beamed pulling him to her side and taking his arm and wrapping it around her shoulder. "I still can't believe we're getting married here, it like a dream." She said as they walked through the Vineyard. They were surrounded by acres of beautiful colorful bushes, trees and flowers.
"Took you guys long enough." Caroline complained. "We need to rehearse." She demanded pulling Bonnie away from Damon and taking her to the beginning of aisle.
"Hi Bon." Her dad smiled.
"Hi dad." She giggled. "I'm finally getting married." She smiled latching on to his arm. "Like you've always wanted."
"I'm so happy for you baby girl." He told her kissing her forehead. "Damon is a good man."
"He is." She beamed gazing at him as he waited for her at the other end of the aisle. "I'm very happy."
"That's all I've ever wanted for you." He illuminated. "You deserve nothing but happiness and I know Damon has given that to you and will continue to."
"Thank you." She beamed kissing him on his cheek.
"You ready?"
"I've been ready for seven years."
"Alright." He chuckled reaching his arm out for Bonnie.
"Look at Ari pulling Alex down the aisle." She giggled as Aria pulled a sleeping Alex down the aisle in a little wagon. "Hopefully he'll stay awake tomorrow."
"I think he will." Rudy stated.
"And if not you know Caroline always has a plan B." She said as they made their way down the aisle.
"Tomorrow I'm going to need you both to walk faster." Damon demanded.
"And why is that?" Rudy wondered.
"Because I don't want to wait any longer to become your husband." He declared taking her arm in his.
Bonnie rolled her eyes and giggled looking over to her father. "I'll do my best." Rudy chuckled. "But you know I'm old bag of bones."
"You're the best old bag of bones in the history of the world." Bonnie told him. "I love you dad." She said kissing his cheek.
"Save all the sentimental moments for tomorrow, we need to rehearse." Caroline demanded.
"Lets do this." Damon stated.
"Bonnie Bennett." Caroline yelled barging into her room. "Wake up."
"Shh." Bonnie grumbled. "Give me five more minutes."
"Get your ass up." She yelled again pulling the blankets off of her.
"You're going to wake up Ari." She complained cuddling closer to her daughter.
"Bon you need to start getting ready, it's your wedding day." Elena giggled she was a lot more passive than Caroline and had a lot more patience.
"A couple more minutes of sleep." She begged. "Damon isn't going anywhere." She mumbled. "We've waited long enough, what's a couple more minutes." She yawned.
"Bonnie Bennett soon to be Salvatore, are you getting cold feet?" Caroline scoffed.
Bonnie chuckled. "Not even close, I was honestly just trying to cheat my way into a couple extra minutes of sleep."
"Well it ain't happening time to wake up." Caroline said jumping on top of her making sure to not wake Aria up. "Go jump in the shower." She demanded.
"I'll be back." She told them. "I have to feed Alex first."
"Hey baby boy, good morning." She said picking him up from his crib. "I missed you." She cuddled him close and covered his face with kisses making him giggle. "I bet you're hungry." She said sitting in the rocking chair. When she finished feeding him she stayed in the room a snuggling him, even though she knew she was going to hear an ear full from Caroline. "Mommy and daddy are getting married today baby boy." Receiving a small smile from the baby. "I'm happy too." She smirked when she noticed his smile. "A little nervous." She sighed. "But happy, I hope we'll be just as happy as we are now." She confessed. "I know our family won't be perfect, but all I want is for us to be happy."
"And we will be." Damon told her walking into the room.
"We shouldn't be seeing each other before the wedding." She said wiping her tears away.
"Hey you were the one who walked into my room." He said embracing her. "We had this planned out. You take Ari and I take junior here." He said taking him from her arms and blowing on his belly making him burst into laughter.
"Hey I made sure you weren't here, Stefan said he'd distract you while I feed the baby." She said caressing Alex's face.
"Please, you didn't think I'd escape?" He huffed. "I honestly just wanted to see you babe." He said pulling her in for hug.
"You'll be seen me for the rest of your life." She said wrapping her arms around him.
"And your point." He said kissing her forehead.
"Bonnie Bennett." Caroline yelled as she walked into Damon's room.
"Hide me." She said hiding behind him. "She's going to kill me."
"What the hell?" Caroline grumbled stomping into the room.
"I just came to check on the baby." She defended. "He wasn't here when I came to check on him." She said quickly.
"Oh that's bull." Caroline complained.
"He was the one who snuck up on me." She pouted.
"Bon." He huffed.
"Let's go." Caroline said grabbing her arm and dragging her out room. "And don't think you got away with this Damon, you'll be hearing an ear full from me later."
"I'm sorry." She mouthed looking back at him. "I'll make it up to you."
"I will literally guard the door of the room just to make sure you don't get out." Caroline stated as they made their way down the hall.
"I had to feed Alex." Bonnie defended. "Did you want me to walk down the aisle with a dress covered in breast milk?" She argued.
"Not the point." She quickly said. "You weren't supposed to see Damon until you walked down the aisle." Caroline complained.
"I'm sorry." Bonnie said apologetically. "I honestly didn't know he was going to be there."
"I believe you." Caroline sighed. "I just want everything to be perfect you deserve the perfect wedding Bonnie."
"Thank you Care." She said pulling her in for a hugging squeezing her gently. "I know and I love you for that, even if it does drive me crazy."
"Lets get you married." Caroline stated excitedly. "We've all waited long enough."
