Time for the newest chapter

Ryder was inside the steel mill, he had received word that someone had broken out of Rollins Asylum. Ryder eventually heard some noise coming from upstairs and went to investigate, inside, he found Clockwork sitting at a desk.
"Oh no!" said Clockwork
Clockwork tried making a run for it, but Ryder chased after him, when Clockwork was sure he had lost Ryder, he hid. Ryder searched for Clockwork until he found his hiding spot.
"Dammit!" said Clockwork
"Jebediah Toll, you're under arrest for prison break" said Ryder
"I think not Ryder" said Clockwork
Clockwork threw down a smoke pellet, when the smoke cleared, Ryder had his hand around Clockwork's neck.
"Strange, that always works for you" said Clockwork
"Word of advice, when you use smoke pellets, before the smoke clears, you have to run" said Ryder
Ryder placed a pair of handcuffs on Clockwork and dragged him outside.
"Don't you even want to hear my plan?" asked Clockwork
"Doesn't matter, you aren't getting a chance to start it" said Ryder
"Good, because I hadn't thought that far ahead" said Clockwork
Ryder got Clockwork outside and entered a code into his gauntlets, a few seconds later, the Ryder Wing flew overhead. Ryder took out the grapple launcher and got himself and Clockwork into the wing, before flying to Rollins Asylum. When they arrived, Guards took Clockwork back to his cell.
"Thanks for bringing Clockwork back" said one of the guards
"No problem, it's what I do" said Ryder
Ryder went to leave, when he was about to leave, he typed a code into his gauntlets and looked up to wait for the Wing, when he looked up, he saw some type of shadowy figure on the roof of the Asylum, he quickly called a guard over.
"Hey, is it just me or is there someone on the roof?" asked Ryder
The guard and Ryder looked up, but there was no one on the roof.
"Sorry Ryder, there's nothing up there, you might be seeing things" said the guard
"Yeah, maybe, it's late so I might be a bit tired" said Ryder
The wing flew overhead, Ryder grappled up to the wing and flew back home.
"I know I saw someone, but the question is...who?" thought Ryder
==The Next Morning==
David was at the computer in the lab, he was watching security footage from the Asylum to find any sight of the shadowy figure he saw on the roof, he watched the footage over and over with no sign of the figure. Angelo entered the lab.
"Sir, you've been watching the same footage all morning, what are you actually looking for?" asked Angelo
"Well, last night, when I took Jebediah back to Rollin's Asylum, I saw someone on the roof, but when I looked back, they were gone, I've been reviewing security footage all day to find any sign of the figure, but so far, nothing" said David
"Let me check" said Angelo
Angelo watched the security footage, he saw no one on the roof at any point.
"Sorry sir, you were probably just seeing things" said David
David looks at the footage in confusion.
==That Night==
Ryder was scouting the city in the Ryder Wing, he ejected the wing and landed on the roof of a building, he took out his binoculars and watched the streets for anything unusual. Ryder, looked at the roof of a building across the street, he thought he saw another shadowy figure, similar to the one he saw at the Asylum, Ryder got a better look at the knight armour the man was wearing. Ryder took out a boomerang and threw it at the figure. Ryder was able to see the mysterious figure catch the boomerang in mid air.
"There you are, you've got a lot to answer for" thought Ryder
Ryder grabbed his zip liner and got down to the roof of the building the figure was on, but when he reached the roof, the figure was gone, but the boomerang was there. On the floor was a weird symbol with a bunch of circles.
"I have been watching you Ryder, to see if you are truly ready" said an echoed voice
Ryder looked around to find the source of the voice but found nothing. Ryder activated the camera function in his glasses and snapped a picture of the symbol. He sent the picture to Angelo.
"Angelo, I've just sent you a picture of some weird symbol, see what you can find out about it and send me your findings" said Ryder
"Sir, you must be mistaken, there is no type of symbol on this image you sent me" said Angelo
"What?" asked Ryder
"There's no symbol, it's just a simple picture of the roof of a building" said Angelo
"Angelo, I'll get back to you" said Ryder
Ryder turned off the communicator and looked at the symbol.
"Maybe it's my glasses" thought Ryder
Ryder removed the glasses, thinking others couldn't see the symbol because they don't wear them, but he was wrong, even without the glasses, Ryder could clearly see the symbol, he put his glasses back on.
"The shadow and the symbol must be an invitation, a way of asking if I want to play some sick twisted set of mind games, my answer...Yes!" thought Ryder
