Thousand years has passed since the event of Dirge of Cerberus, leaving only Vincent alone. But then, an event turns up that requires his strength to join into the battle once again. Full summary in the Prologue chapter.

37. Chapter 36

Hello to all good fellow readers, the chapter 36 is up. And sorry for the late upload, lately I've been busy working around these days, spending a little amount of time for this chapter.

Not to mention, lately has been a lot of bad things going on in this world, like that Germanwings plane crash.

Chapter 36: Crystal Fragment Arc – Part 4

Right now, the current situation is in chaotic, people outside the museum are wondering what exactly happened inside the museum, the flash bang, the scream, and now the appearance of the man in black helmet arrived and entered into the museum.

"Suddenly the rumoured [man in black helmet] appeared and entered into the museum!" The news reporter announced, "What kind of business brought the man in black helmet here?" Then, they all heard metallic objects clashing sounds coming from the museum. "This time there are sounds that coming from the museum! I wonder what make those sounds! It's like swords clashing from movies!"

"…What happened inside there?" Kogorou wonders.

"…I don't know, somehow I got an uneasy feeling about this…" Ran said as she feels uneasy.

Sonoko took out her phone and began to call her uncle Jirokichi, "Uncle! What happened over there?" Sonoko asked as the call went through.

"…I don't know how to describe this…" Jirokichi replied through phone.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Sonoko asked again.

While Sonoko was busying talking to her uncle through phone, Agasa stood there speechlessly as he recognized those sounds. 'Those are definitely swords clashing sounds… it's the exactly same from the tournament before…' Agasa thought before they hear some calling for Kogorou.

"Mouri-kun!" Someone calls for the famous detective Kogorou Mouri before he turns around, seeing the inspector Megure, Takagi, Sato, Chiba, and Shiratori arrives to the scene.

"Inspector-dono!" Kogorou surprised a bit to see inspector and others appeared.

"We heard that man in black helmet appeared in the scene!" Megure said, "Where is that man?" He asked.

"…T-That man just entered into the museum not long ago." Kogorou replied as he points at the museum using his left thumb.

"What exactly is going on in there?" Megure wonders.

Outside the museum, where Jirokichi and inspector Nakamori are standing there spectating the situation inside there, "…Something that is way beyond our expectation…" Jirokichi replied as they are seeing both warriors fighting each other exchanging their attacks in incredibly fast pace. "What are you, Gabranth…?"

"…Just who in the world are they?" Nakamori asked as he dumbstruck.

[Start Music: Boss Battle – Final Fantasy 12]

Back in the museum, Vincent is currently under heavily pressured by continuously blocking Gabranth's heavy attacks, as Gabranth keep on rush toward to Vincent and gives several attacks, forcing Vincent to defend himself from his heavy attacks. Each block creates shockwave.

Vincent currently now is blocking Gabranth's attacks while analysing and reading his opponent's movements and attacks carefully before he blocked another attack and sent him away. He holds onto the floor to prevent being slammed onto the iron cage and landed on the ground safely after receiving the attack. 'He's tough… He possessed remarkable movements; his attacks are slow but heavy…' He thought.

"I wish we could use the Combine spell to combine two Hastes in order to quickly end this, kupo, but the Combine spell ain't able to work when one of the Chaos's elite warriors or more are around, kupo!" Mog mentioned through telepathy to Vincent.

"…That is… inconvenient." Vincent responded learning the disadvantage of Combine spell. "Even Jecht and Golbez?"

"Yes!" Mog replied.

"…Why are you holding back, knight of the goddess?" Gabranth asked as he noticed Vincent did not fight with his full strength. "Is there any reason for you to do so?"

"…There are hundreds of people nearby here," Vincent answered, "It's obvious that I won't go all out, even if I have to face one of the Chaos's elite warriors."

"…Why do you care about them?" Gabranth said before he lunge toward to Vincent and swing upward the lower part of his dual-blades to Vincent, Vincent raised his Hollow Blade to block the attack, that moment Gabranth immediately launched his attack again using the top part of his dual-blades swinging downward to him while the lower part of his blades withdrawn back, forcing Vincent to take a step away from the slash, he dodged the attack however it managed to damage his outfit.

"…Why I care about them?" Vincent said before he began to counter attack by dash toward to Gabranth, forward by he spins around to gather momentum before swings his Fusion Sword on his right hand toward to Gabranth, Gabranth takes a step away from his position as he raised his dual-blades to block the attack, this is to reduce the impact power from Vincent's attack. Then Vincent swing his Hollow Blade on his left hand downward to his opponent, Gabranth tilts his dual-blades from vertical to diagonal to block the attack from above him, and now both of them use their strengths to see who will win the strength contest. "I know why you're asking such question." He then adding more strength, forcing Gabranth to touch his knee on the ground, "You may think that all humans are bad, but you're wrong."

"…" Gabranth remained quiet while struggling to push back, he then smirked, "Hmph," he pushed away Vincent's swords then immediately jumps away to prepare an attack, he links his dual-blades together and lunges toward to Vincent, Vincent can feel that the attack is heavy, he increases his strength and blocked the attack to withstand his position from being knock away, the impact causing the floor beneath them crack apart in an area. "So that's your answer," Gabranth then adding up more power into his blades and forcefully push Vincent away toward to the upper part of the iron cage.

"Be careful, kupo!" Mog shouts through telepathy.

Vincent recovered back before he lands his feet on iron cage, '…Lady Cosmos told me before, his true strength will be unleashes out once he wear his helmet.' He thought, 'I have to be careful.' He begins to counter attack by lunge toward to Gabranth and sent out relentless attacks, and Gabranth blocking those attacks using his dual-blades.

While both Vincent and Gabranth are busy fighting there, Kaitou Kid is slowly recovering himself while spectate their fight. '…Wow… I have never seen such speeds… That man in black helmet from the rumored… and that security guard… just what are they?' Kaitou thought curiously yet awed before he took off his gas mask and slowly getting himself up, but the more he tries to stands straight, the pains grow stronger. '…Ugh!' He felt the sharp pains from his wounds as his legs feel weak to stand still before he fell on his knee. '…Ouch… it's difficult to move with this condition… I think I have a few broken ribs…'

"Kaitou!" Someone shouts at Kaitou, he recognized the voice before he looks up, seeing Conan is shouting to him through the window which is way high up.

"Ah… Detective-kun…" Kaitou feels a bit glad to see his rival appears, "What a pleasant to see you…" He said grinning even though he is badly damaged before they heard a loud crash coming from where the two warriors fighting, they turn their eyes to see the situation, seeing the man in black helmet was slammed onto the iron cage.

"Kaitou! Can you get up?" Conan asked loudly.

"…" Kaitou checks his equipment the hook gun, and unfortunately he found that his hook gun has been damaged, rendering his hook gun unable to be used. '…Dammit… Just as I feared, it's damaged.' He thought before he looked up and proceeds another way as he brought out a hook using his magic trick tied with a long rope and ready to throw toward to Conan, but the moment he tries to stood up, the pain from his wounds emitting even more, causing him losing his strength as he fell on his knees once again, unable to throw the hook with his strength. "Tsk…" He cursed.

Conan can see Kaitou suffered heavy injuries, rendering him unable to throw the hook to him, he then needs to think some way to get inside, the gap between iron bars is extremely narrow, even a child could not able to get through.

The man in black helmet (Vincent) recovered back as if it's like he was uninjured by the attack before he charged to Gabranth and attack. "…" Vincent took a glance at Conan that he is finding a way to reach Kaitou Kid, the distance between them is around 20 meters away, and iron cage are blocking the window. He looked back to his opponent then launches himself toward to Gabranth and readied the signature move Braver by bringing down his heavy sword to Gabranth. The Judge immediately raised his dual-blades and block, he blocked the attack but the attack was so powerful it created a crater beneath him.

"…What a power you have here, I'll acknowledge your strength then." Gabranth said before they both pushes themselves away from each other before they dashed simultaneously toward to each other and their weapons clashed once again to each other before they both starts exchanging attacks to each other. Then, their weapons clashed onto each other and both of them now struggling to determine their strengths, "But still… you care about these humans, that will soon be your fatal weakness." Gabranth stated.

"…If that will be my fatal weakness," Vincent said before he withdrew his swords and push Gabranth's weapon away, he then spin around to gather momentum power into his Fusion Sword on his right hand and swing onto Gabranth. Gabranth see an incoming horizontal attack from his right side before he brought up the lower part of his dual-blades and deflected the incoming attack from Vincent, but he did not see the wielder of the Fusion Sword there as Vincent disappeared right after he deflected the attack.

'What?' Gabranth then immediately looked back to his front quickly, but he could not react fast as he sees Vincent already appeared in front of him together with an incoming punch and delivered onto his face, sending Gabranth to the iron cage and crashed onto those.

Vincent grabbed his Fusion Sword back and wields it on his right hand, "I will overcome it. I have faced these kinds of situations in the past before." Vincent answers his question. '…If I did not hold back… I could have sent him breaking through walls.' Vincent thought as he minding the people outside.

"…" Gabranth listened to his answer as he recovered back from the attack, "Well said." He said. "Then, how about this," He began another question, "When the world is in crisis, which one do you want to protect first, the world, or the human?"

"…" Vincent remained quiet as he listened to the question.

"Another tricky question, kupo!" Mog said.

"I'll definitely choose saving the world," Vincent replied, "and for the other option, I trust my fellow companions will definitely choose the other one."

Gabranth smirked, "Well said again, as the judge, I am impressed by your intelligence." He said.

"You just have to trust your fellow teammates." Vincent said before he readied his stance, and Gabranth readied his stance as well.

'…Teammates huh?' Gabranth thought closing his eyes as he heard the word, making him remember the other Archadian Judges, he stopped remembering back the memories before he continues, he opened his eyes and say, "I've listened to your answers, so," Gabranth said as he splits apart his dual-blades into two one-handed-blades, showing that he changed his fighting style. "Let's see how you can prove that!" When he was done saying, he immediately charged toward to Vincent with his speed increased, this caused Vincent immediately increases his guard by using the centre of his Fusion sword to block the incoming charge attack from Gabranth. Vincent blocked the initial charge attack from Gabranth. However it wasn't over, he continues his attack by throwing many slashes to Vincent, Vincent currently now is in defense state as he is now blocking, dodging, and deflecting Gabranth's attacks.

'…His fighting way has changed the moment he split his weapon into two,' Vincent thought while defending himself from the attacks. '…that way will give him more mobility and speed.' He then blocked a strong attack, knocking him back a little further. '…What's more, we're in the building… which makes me totally in disadvantages that I cannot use any large scale attacks. In that case…' He then combines back his Hollow Blade into his Fusion Swords, then he summons out a Water element sphere on his left palm and placed it onto his Fusion Swords.

"Hm?" Gabranth wonders as he sees an unusual skill from his opponent.

"Metal, Water, change my weapon." Vincent commands the elements, the weapon he wielding there begun to change its shape as the light glows, the size shrunk into a smaller size than Fusion Sword, as the light dies down, it revealing a unique appearance sword that look like it made out of water with a red cloth attached at the end of the handle, the Brotherhood, Tidus's main weapon. "Tidus, I'm borrowing your strength." He wields the sword on his right hand and readied his stance.

'Was that a magick?' Gabranth thought as he readied his stance.

"Get ready, Gabranth." Vincent told as he charges toward to his opponent, Gabranth dashed toward to Vincent as well and swings his blades toward to Vincent, Vincent then dodges the attack upwards towards to Gabranth and attack him at the same time, he managed to cut at the back of Gabranth, but the wound he inflicted onto was too shallow due to the armour Gabranth wearing.

'…Ugh, fast!' Gabranth thought before he turns around and swung his blade, but Vincent dodged it again by jump away, once he landed on the floor he dashed and thrusting his sword toward to Gabranth, Gabranth quickly dodge the attack but the attack managed to hit on his waist part, giving him another swallow wound. However, Vincent's attack isn't over yet as he go for another attack with incredible speed. '…So fast I could not able to fully dodge his attacks…!' Gabranth thought while struggling defending himself from Vincent's slice and dice attack.

'…Need to end this quickly.' Vincent thought while rapidly attacking Gabranth as he feels his attacks are weak against his opponent. 'This move isn't going to deal much damage to him because of his armour.' He then proceeds to execute his next attack, when Gabranth launched an attack onto him, Vincent dodge the attack and throw a slash onto him before he gave a direct kick onto his guts, sending Gabranth toward to the iron cage and crashed onto it, Gabranth looked back in front of him seeing Vincent charging at him and about to throw another slash, Gabranth then pour his hatred into his blades in order to add up more power before charge forward to Vincent. Vincent sees Gabranth charges at him with his blades readied, both side clashed onto each other and began to exchanging attacks, each attack could shake the floor as the battle getting intense.

The people outside there can feel the vibrations coming from the museum in front of them, everyone including the police officers are wondering what exactly happening inside there.

"…I don't know what exactly happen inside there… It sounds like someone is fighting inside there." Haibara wonders before she took off and head to somewhere while everyone was distracted, she went into the café's toilet and hide there before she took out her Detective Boys Badge, a small device that has the functionality of walkie-talkie and also a transmitter, she then bring the badge closer to her mouth and try to talk to someone. "Kudo-kun."

Haibara is waiting for the responds, till she heard a voice, "…Haibara?" The voice was Conan.

"Kudo-kun," Haibara said, "I know you are somewhere in there, what exactly happened inside there?" She asked.

"…Something extraordinary happened here, I can only reply that." Conan replied calmly through the walkie-talkie badge.

Haibara confused from that statement, "…What do you mean by 'something extraordinary', Kudo-kun?" She asked again before she heard some metallic clashing sounds coming from her walkie-talkie badge.

"I can't explain right now," Conan replied before he paused, Haibara can tell his voice is in hurry of something, "I need to save Kaitou Kid from there."

"Huh? Something happened to Kaitou Kid?" Haibara asked as she surprised.

"From here, I can tell that he's heavily injured down there." Conan replied. "I just need to find a way to descend down from here…"

"Descend down? Are you somewhere above the museum?" Haibara asked.

"Yeah," Conan replied, "Right now I am standing on the branch of the tall tree beside the museum that is close to a window, but… it was barricaded by iron cage, I can't get through."

"It seals every entrance." Haibara said before she heard a loud impact coming from her walkie-talkie badge, "Kudo-kun?" She shouts concerned.

…

Conan was covered his face with his arm from the shockwave, "…I'm alright." He replied before he take a peek inside the museum, he sees where the sound came from, he see the man in black helmet was crashed onto the iron cage right above the front entrance, and the impact caused the ceiling to collapse from outside, blocking the only entrance lead into the museum.

"What was that sound?" Haibara asked through his badge.

"The ceiling collapsed, blocking the front entrance." Conan replied as he sees the man in black helmet stood up from the ground and dashed at his opponent in armour and continues his attacks. "Anyway, I need to save Kaitou Kid first, later!" He said before he put away his badge and starts thinking a way to enter through these iron bars that block the window to save Kaitou Kid.

To Vincent

Vincent got up after recover back from the attack, '…He's getting stronger and stronger as his fighting style slowly changing…' He thought.

"What's wrong?" Gabranth asked as he taunting, "Can't keep up with me?"

Vincent looked at his opponent and dash again, with just a second he already appeared in front of him and begins to launch his attacks onto Gabranth, by using Tidus's fighting style he sealing every movement of Gabranth with his nimble assaults. However, Gabranth's power is slowly increasing the longer the battle goes on, and Vincent noticed that as he can feel that Gabranth's attacks are getting heavier than before. Then, as Gabranth able to deflect Vincent's attack and pushes him away, he prepared a move, the Vortex of Judgement, by spin himself around few times together with his dual-blades creating a whirlwind that pulling any misfortune opponent toward to his whirlwind of blades.

"…!" Vincent can feel himself slowly being pulling toward to the whirlwind of blades, he then use his left foot to stomp the floor to bury his foot into the ground, preventing him for being pulled, seeing Gabranth spinning together with his blades create a deadly whirlwind, he could see the curtains and some objects are being pulled by the force of whirlwind of blades and destroyed into pieces.

'…Damn! That's one crazy attack there…!' Kaitou Kid thought as his hands are holding the cracks created by them.

"…" Vincent looked at the Kaitou Kid is currently in trouble from being slowly pulling by the whirlwind, '…I need to get him out of here…' He thought before he looked at Conan desperately trying to get through the iron cage. '…I better lend him a hand.' He thought before he begins to communicate to Conan through telepathy. "Conan, can't get pass through the iron bars?"

"…!" Conan startled a bit from the sudden telepathy, "…Y-Yeah, the gap between iron bars are too narrow, even a child like me couldn't get through, if only I have better device I could bend these iron bars widely…"

"Stay away from the window, Conan." Vincent told, "I will lend you a hand later."

As soon Vincent done telling Conan, he release his left foot from the ground and dashes toward to the whirlwind of blades where Gabranth channelling the move.

"You lost your hope now?" Gabranth said as he sees Vincent dashing toward to him frontally, Gabranth then increases his rotating speed, turning the whirlwind into more violent, the tiles on the ground there are started to loose before get sucked toward to the whirlwind.

"Water" Vincent commands the water element, "Unleash your power to aid me." Using the power of the elementals he swings his sword upward, releasing a large crescent of blade made out of water from his sword heading toward to the whirlwind of blades. The crescent of water blade struck heavily onto the whirlwind of blades and cancelled the attack.

"Ugh!" Gabranth flinched from the water blade impact before he looked in front, seeing Vincent flew toward to him, Gabranth raises his blades to defend himself but his speed could not keep up the pace before he get kicked right on his face, sending Gabranth away and crashed onto the iron cage.

Vincent then looked up at where Conan is, he planned to use Telekinesis to help Conan as he motioned his hand facing at the iron bars in front of the window where Conan is, he then clenched his hand tightly, the iron bars in front of the windows suddenly get bended into centre, then he motions his arm by pulling, the bended iron bars immediately being pulled off, creating a hole for Conan.

"The path is clear, Conan." Vincent told through telepathy to Conan, "Quickly, go save Kaitou Kid, while I keep him busy."

"Alright." Conan received the message as the communication cuts off, he then approaches to the edge and use the iron bars as ladder to climb down to the ground. Meanwhile to Kaitou Kid, he has started to get slightly better by slowly standing up while holding his wound.

'…Obviously I cannot die right now… for I still have something important need to accomplish…!' Kaitou thought before he turns his head facing at the pedestal that holding the magenta crystal fragment.

Vincent turns his face at his opponent Gabranth, seeing Gabranth slowly getting up from the ground after receiving his attack, "Not bad." He compliments as his tone changed.

'…!' Vincent noticed his tone changed, knowing that Gabranth is starting to get serious as he raised his guard. Conan reaches to the ground and heading toward to Kaitou to lend him an aid, Kaitou glad to see his archenemy but ally arrived to him.

"It seems like I have to use this." When Gabranth finished up the sentence, he brought him his right hand facing upward to the ceiling, knowing Gabranth is preparing to do something. Then, Vincent started to feel the air around him changed, not just the air inside the museum, he felt the air outside the museum also changes as well.

"…?" Vincent curious of what Gabranth is doing, until he hears something roaring outside, the thunder, roaring fiercely within the dark cloud in the dark night. His nose caught the smell of the rain outside, and then a loud thunder occurred.

*BOOM* the thunder struck somewhere further outside of this city.

"…No way, he summoned the rain, kupo!" Mog stated.

"…Rain?" Vincent said with his confused and curious expression. "You summoned out a rain?" This statement caused Conan and Kaitou surprised.

'…Scientifically… no human can do that!' Conan thought.

'…Not even a magic trick could do that. I wonder who or what they are…' Kaitou thought.

"That's right, and to be precise," Gabranth replied before his right hand magically materialized out his iconic helmet and wore it on. Vincent can feel that Gabranth's power increased tremendously. "It's a storm I summoned."

"…! This is bad! He's starting to get serious, kupo!" Mog warns.

"Go accompany with them, Mog." Vincent told, and Mog immediately step away from Vincent from the battle.

"Let's get serious, knight of the goddess." Gabranth said as he dashed toward to Vincent incredibly fast, Vincent widened his eyes for seeing Gabranth approaches to him incredibly fast, Vincent use his sword to block the incoming attack, he managed to block Gabranth's charge attack, however, the attack capable to send him upward to the ceiling.

The sudden storm caused all of the people quickly use whatever they can to shield themselves from the rain, even the police enforcers as well as they brought out their raincoats, along with the helicopters were forced to land on the ground in order to avoid getting caught by violent wind. All the spotlights are unable to withstand the wind as all of them fall onto the ground and broken.

"What's with this sudden downpour?!" Nakamori complains as he covering himself from the rain with his arms. "The weather report says today will be a sunny day the whole time! Really!?" He has an unpleasant face seeing the rain rains down on them. "Now it's the bloody storm!"

"Sometimes you cannot trust the weather report fully!" Jirokichi said while covering himself from the rain as well. Then, they felt a powerful vibration coming from inside, following the sounds of the heavy rubbles hitting on the ground as they see a lot of dusts coming through the debris blocking the entrance.

"Now what happened inside there!?" Nakamori shouts. They heard a lot of screams from the people outside for seeing something horrible and terrifying, everyone seeing the roof of the museum destroyed by unknown force, everyone couldn't see clearly of the situation due to the heavy rain blinding their sights.

"We need to get out of here, inspector!" Jirokichi shouts to them before they immediately move away from the museum.

The heavy rain covers both of the warriors from the eyes of the spectators, and even with the technology along with the cameras they are unable to get a clear view because of the heavy wind and the rain.

The people are panicked to see the roof of the museum suddenly blasted into rubbles, the people started to run away as they were expected the explosion caused the collapse of the museum roof.

Haibara got out from the café to see the current situation outside, the heavy rain and the wind were the first Haibara to notice, she covers herself with her hands from the wind and rain before approaches to Agasa, "…Rain? When did it start?" She asked as she was surprised to see the heavy rain suddenly appeared.

"Not too long ago, Haibara-kun." Agasa replied. Kogorou, Ran, and Sonoko are worried to see the situation suddenly become chaos, while the inspector and his fellow officers are trying to calm others down despite under this heavy rain, it's nearly impossible for them to try to calm them down, all they could do was seeing them running away from the scene in order to save themselves from harm.

Haibara then noticed the roof of the museum, along with the panicked people that are running away from the museum, police enforcers are trying to calm them down but it was futile for them. "What just happened there…?" She asked.

"I don't know what caused the roof to collapse… but I don't see any explosion… which makes this really weird…" Agasa replied.

Haibara worried as she heard that before she looked at the museum, '…Kudo-kun…' She thought as she worried about her friend. Then, they noticed the trees nearby are started to shaking badly.

"We need to get inside, now!" Kogorou shouts before one of the trees falls down in front of them. They quickly rush into the café for safety, Inspector Megure and the other police officers are busying escorting the civilians to safety when the rooftop museum collapsed.

The attack Vincent just blocked sent him upward broke through the ceiling of museum, flying through the air around 60 meters from the ground, '…What an attack…' Vincent thought as he remembering his block from the last attack was futile that sent him to the air above the museum by breaking through the roof of the museum, the force was too strong that caused the entire rooftop of museum to collapses, he quickly recovers himself in the midair. Right now he is in a large area in the air between two tall buildings, one is finished and the other is under construction as the top half is incomplete, 100 meters height for each of those two tall buildings. He then see Gabranth below him is flying toward to him, and that makes Vincent prepares to fight, when Gabranth approaches, he started to launch his attacks, and Vincent started to defend himself, looking for any chance to counter attack.

Gabranth's attacks are not like before, this time his attacks are more forceful and relentless, mixed with great movements, giving him more mobility and more cunning, allowing him to successfully deliver lethal attacks to his enemies.

'…His fighting style has totally changed.' Vincent thought reading Gabranth's attacks and movements before he sees Gabranth charges toward to him with his sword thrust. Vincent raised his sword to block the attack, Vincent successfully blocked the attack, but the force was too great that sends him toward to the unfinished building behind him, crashing into higher floor and breaks through several walls before he recovered back and landed on the ground. '…Ugh… another disadvantage to me, fighting in an unfinished building while there are people below here. I cannot go all out in this situation. But, at least that boy and Kaitou Kid are away from us, they should be able to get out of there.' Vincent thought before he focuses back on his opponent Gabranth, as he arrived on the other side of the floor, opposite of Vincent.

"Vincent! Are you alright, kupo?" Mog asked through telepathy.

"I'm alright." Vincent replied, "What about those two?"

"They're alright now, kupo," Mog replied, "…But, we're stuck within the rubbles, my magic protected them from these rubbles, kupo. You don't have to worry about us, focus on your fight, kupo."

"Thanks for protecting them, Mog. I will finish this fast." Vincent replied before the communication cuts off. Vincent looked at his opponent who is just standing on the opposite side of him. The rains outside there totally soaked everything around, even soaked both of the warriors. Vincent can hear the people panicking around after what happened on the museum a moment ago. '…Gabranth, the judge magister, a very formidable fighter… even now I am fighting him with my 40% of my capabilities… I am unable to fully go all out because of the people down there…' Vincent thought as he facing at his opponent, '…Should I… unleash my Limit Breaks?' He then shook his head for rejecting his own idea, '…Better not, it's not a good idea unleashing my Limit Breaks in this city.'

"What's wrong?" Gabranth asked with his mockery tone as soon he started to walk toward to his opponent, "Have you started to lose your hope?"

"…Not even one percent." Vincent replied before both of them lunges to each other simultaneously and their weapons clashed onto each other again.

Meanwhile to Mog as he is accompanying with Conan and Kaitou as both of them are trapped beneath piles of large rubbles from the roof, waters from the rain are flowing in through the gaps between rubbles."…Ugh…" Kaitou regained his consciousness after the collapse of the roof, he then finds himself trapped in the rubbles.

"Got up?" Conan asked as he was already conscious, sitting just opposite of Kaitou.

"…For some reason, we are still alright, despite almost being crushed by rubbles." Kaitou said as he looked upward. Then, they heard a voice coming from nowhere.

"That because of me, kupo~" Someone said out of nowhere, and that raised both of their guards up.

"W-who's there?" Conan demanded, then, the area between both of them, suddenly a poof of smoke came out, revealing a small fluffy creature with a red furry ball attached on its head, the magical creature, Mog.

"That's me, kupo~ I'm the one saved you two, kupo~" Mog revealed himself to both of them, which makes their eyes widened for seeing a creature they have never seen before.

"…" Kaitou took off his monocle and rub his eyes, when he wears his monocle back, he understand that he did not in delusion state.

"…What… what are you?" Conan asked with much surprises.

"I'm Mog, and I'm a moogle, from another world, kupo~" Mog introduced himself to them. "But first, allow me to heal your wounds there, Kaitou." He said as his hands glowing in green light, "Restore" Mog casted a healing spell onto Kaitou as his body glows in green light, and Kaitou can feel the pain from his wounds are started to fading away. When the green light dies down, Kaitou can feel the pains are gone, and his wounds are healed as well.

"…!" Kaitou was surprised to see something new, not just him, Conan was surprised as well. "I feel… better."

"…What was that just now?" Conan asked.

"It's magic, silly." Mog replied. "I just healed his wounds, kupo."

Both of them have never seen a real magic before, until now. "I hate to admit… I've never seen such magic like this before… They said magic like just now are just fiction… but, I'd never guessed it's real…" Kaitou said.

"…'Mog', right?" Conan started, "…You said you're from another world, does that means those two fighting outside there… are also from another world as well?" He asked.

"That's right, kupo." Mog replied, "Me, together with the one wearing the black helmet, we're sent by our goddess to this world in order to search something, kupo." He told. "For this current situation, we did not expect Gabranth was boldly enough to have a fight with him."

Conan and Kaitou are speechless for listening their motive, "…Goddess?" Kaitou said.

"…Mog, this man in black helmet," Conan started another question, "is his name Vincent Valentine?" Conan guessed.

"…I knew this will happen one day, kupo." Mog said, "Correct."

"Vincent Valentine huh…?" Kaitou said as he heard the name, "…What a charming name he has there, pretty sure his name will hook up many ladies." He jokes, even though it's true. "If I'm not mistaken, he's from a famous town called Mahora, right?" He stated. "I read a magazine only published from Mahora."

"Correct, kupo~" Mog replied. "But he quitted as a teacher there, because we have found something important here, kupo."

"I just had a hunch but unable to confirm because of lack of clues and evidences… but now it's cleared." Conan said. "However, this matter no longer needs to be concern." He continues.

"…By something," Kaitou started, "you mean that 'Bloody Crystal' in this museum?" He guessed intelligently.

"Correct, kupo." Mog replied to the infamous thief's question.

"…I knew it was something fishy… provoking me using the Bloody Crystal, luring me into his museum," Kaitou said as he remembering the scenes before, "had me to fight this security guard… and I was being overwhelmed… I've never been so humiliated before…" His fist clenched tightly gritting his teeth with a small hint of anger.

"…How 'important' is this Bloody Crystal?" Conan asked.

"It's 'very' important, kupo." Mog replied.

"Alright, later chat, first, we need to get out of these rubbles." Kaitou told.

"Right," Conan agreed as he adjusts his modified belt, preparing to use his Anywhere Ball Dispensing Belt, "…But," he hesitated a moment, "it's too risky when I use this…"

"The rubbles will collapse down onto us, you mean." Kaitou said, and Conan nodded.

"Don't worry, kupo," Mog ensures them, "with my magic, we can leave this place, kupo~" Mog begins to cast a magic as his hands glowing, the rubbles around them started to glow, "Now, push them, kupo." He told them.

"…" Conan and Kaitou looked at Mog before they looked at each other, then they follows what he said. When Conan placed his palm onto the rubble, he felt something odd, "…?" He felt something, "…It's kinda… light." He said.

"Indeed," Kaitou agrees as he placed his palm, he then try to add force onto his palm to try to push the rubble, in the end the rubble he touched there moved, he surprised that he pushed the rubble with just a little force. "…W-wow…" He astounded. Then, both of them started to push those rubbles together to dig their way out.

Outside the rubbles, the sky still rain down heavy rain, the rubbles that trapped three of them are started to shake before the side of the rubbles blasted away, more likely being pushed from inside, Mog, Conan, and Kaitou able to get out from the rubbles as they dashed out, the light around the rubbles fades away before the rubbles collapses. "…Phew, luckily we made it out…" Kaitou said while covering himself with his arm from the rain.

Conan looked up to the night sky, the dark clouds rain down heavy rain, forcing him unable to see well the situation, reducing their range sights. "Damn… the rain is quite heavy…" Conan commented while covering from the rain. "How could someone capable to summon down a rain… that doesn't make sense…"

"That man Gabranth used a powerful magic to summon heavy rain, kupo." Mog replied as he was on Conan's shoulder.

"What is he? This man 'Gabranth' you said there." Kaitou asked.

"He is one of the Chaos's elite warriors," Mog replied, "and Chaos is a God of Discord, who brings only destruction upon the world, kupo." He explains further, "Vincent is the last chosen candidate as the warrior of Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony. And me, as the supporter to Vincent, kupo."

Conan and Kaitou as both of them can tell Mog isn't joking with them, after what they saw till now, they accepted all these are true. 'It sounds like the war between gods restarted… the scale is just too much for us to do.' Conan thought.

Then, they heard sounds echoing from above them, they all look up to the sky between two tall buildings.

"They both are fighting somewhere up there!" Conan said.

Kaitou covers himself from the rain as he tries to see clearly the situation up there, "I can't see well from here…" He said. "Damn… are they fighting under this heavy rain?"

Conan closed his eyes for focusing onto his hearing ability, even with just a little sound emitted, he can definitely hear something even under heavy rain, and also he can distinguish the sounds precisely. "…I hear… sounds of metals clashing," Conan stated as he heard weapons clashing from above them, "…And it sounds like… they are fighting within the building…"

Kaitou can understand instantly, "Are they fighting in one of the floors up there?" He said before he looked at the unfinished building, "In that unfinished building?"

"Seems like it." Conan confirmed as he opened his eyes.

"…" Kaitou can understand the current situation is dire, he understands that those two warriors are not humans, and their strengths can definitely level the entire city in no time. There are still a lot of civilians nearby these two tall buildings, and he can imagine if the unfinished building collapse due to their overwhelming powers, he could not dare to imagine the huge number of casualties.

"Don't worry," Mog say, Conan and Kaitou looked at Mog, "Vincent isn't that reckless one, kupo." He ensures them. "Whenever he fights, his mind is always minding the safety of people first. And because of that, he cannot fully go all out, kupo."

"There are people still around these two buildings… including us." Kaitou said.

"…Mog, there's another reason why Vincent cannot fight with his fullest, right?" Conan guessed.

"…Yes," Mog nodded, "…Vincent mentioned this to me before, magic cannot be expose in public, that is the most priority rule for mages, kupo." He said. Conan and Kaitou understand immediately of what he means.

"…I see," Kaitou said, "…If the magic has been exposed to the entire world, that means without a proper govern, chaos will be everywhere in the entire world…" He said.

"And the crime rate will increase as well…" Conan added in.

To Vincent

The thunders roaring within the dark clouds more fiercely before striking down the earth, right now both Vincent and Gabranth are still fighting each other fiercely, their fighting place keep switching from current floor to another floor, concrete columns keep getting blown into pieces, for them they are still waiting for an opening. When both of them clashed against each other with their weapons, another shockwave created before they both pushed away each other, 'Tsk… This is getting troublesome…' Vincent thought after he landed back on the floor. '…I might need to increase power a little…' He thought before he readies his next move as his Brotherhood sword started to generate waters as the water engulfs around his sword.

"Hm?" Gabranth noticed Vincent's sword engulfed with water. Vincent then swings his sword aiming at Gabranth, releasing multiple water blades from his sword toward to Gabranth. Gabranth readied his stance and prepare one of his strong attacks, "If that's what you wanted, then… Aero!" He spins his Dual-Blades incredibly fast and creates a large tornado from beneath him. Vincent's multiple water blades has been extinguished by the force of tornado.

'…Damn! He used that magic in here!?' Vincent thought as he did not expect to see Gabranth brought out a powerful wind magic, and he sees the force of the tornado is getting more and more powerful, the weight of the half building could not withstand such attack, the columns that support its weight started to split open, causing the entire top half of the building get lifted before it gets swallowed by the tornado, destroying all of the floors above them, sending all the rubbles including all the heavy equipment along with a large crane to the sky above them, the entire top half of the unfinished building vanished from the sight of outside. '…So that's why he summoned out the rain… it's amplifying his power…' The power of Gabranth's Aero had been amplified by the fierce rain and the wild wind.

"…!" Conan and Kaitou are shocked to see half of the unfinished building just been leveled into the sky and crushed into rubbles by tornado.

"The top half of that building… just leveled in instant by that… tornado?!" Conan stated before his sharp eyes noticed many rubbles flew into the sky. "Th-Those are rubbles from building!"

"If those rubbles fall onto the streets with people…" Kaitou said.

"Don't worry about those, kupo. Vincent can handle those." Mog ensures.

"…!" The situation is getting more chaotic, for Vincent as he did not expect Gabranth possessed an ability to create a powerful tornado, known as Aero, to counter his water blades easily. However, his main concern concentrated onto the falling objects coming down from the sky above them, all of those rubbles and the crane are separated in wide area, and those objects will fall onto the streets full of people in large area. He got no time to think as his instinct tells him what to do immediately, '…I need to force all of those rubbles including that crane into one area…' He then brought up his left hand facing on the sky where the rubbles are, using his Telekinesis he closed his hand into fist form, capable to move all of those rubbles including the crane, compressing the entire objects together forming into one giant rock sphere. However, it is still large enough to crush down the entire building with its weight. '…I have no choice but to do this…' After that, he immediately change his Brotherhood weapon back into Fusion Sword, 'At least I'll try to minimize the damage…' his Fusion Sword started to glow blue light together with blue electricity running through the Fusion Sword with incredible power. "Blade Beam" He then unleashes Blade Beam toward to those huge rubbles and crane, blue beam fired toward to the incoming giant rock sphere, when the beam contacted with the rock sphere, it explodes with large scale of explosion, creating a powerful shockwave and loud explosive sound, frightening all the people on the streets.

"W-what the hell was that!?" Kaitou asked as three of them covering themselves from the shockwave and bright light from the sky.

"It appears Vincent just destroyed a giant chunk of object, kupo." Mog told.

Once Vincent done the giant boulder of object, he lost sight of Gabranth, '…He's not here.' He thought before he starts looking around him, his sight can see everything clearly, even under the heavy rain. '…He hid his presence…' He knows Gabranth is planning something as he readied his stance. Then, he felt an enormous killing intent from behind him far away, '…Over there!' He turns around seeing Gabranth that came out of nowhere flying toward to him incredibly fast, Vincent swings his Fusion Sword toward to incoming Gabranth, and Gabranth readied his Dual-Blades as he is about to thrust. Both weapons collided with huge power, causing another shockwave blowing everything around them. Then suddenly, both their weapons slipped through each other and both exchanged powerful blows simultaneously, followed up an explosion, and both forces received heavy damage afterward.

…

Three of them are still watching the situation up there, "It's getting fiercer up there…" Conan said as they felt vibration. "Can we do something, Mog?" He asked.

"I can't… Vincent told me to accompany you guys, since I can't fight kupo…" Mog replied. "He doesn't want me to get involve in a fight, kupo."

"…" Conan remained quiet as he understood, "I see."

Then, they heard a crack sound, even though under the fiercely rain, they heard an audible crack sound coming close by. They looked where the suspicious sound come from, until they see the crystal fragment and something just took their attentions.

"…Why isn't any rubble near that pedestal?" Conan asked as they noticed around the crystal fragment, there is no rubble near the pedestal that holding the crystal fragment, as if something protected the crystal fragment from the collapse of rubbles.

"…" Mog remained quiet. Then, they see the surface of the crystal fragment got a small crack, indicating that the small fragment of the demon inside starting to breaking out. "…N-no way…!" Mog surprised.

…

Right after the explosion occurred caused by Gabranth's Execution attack, the attack Vincent received, and at the same time Vincent delivered a powerful blow onto Gabranth. And now, both forces suffered heavy injuries as they are on their own knee using their own weapons to support each other from falling onto the ground. The helmet Vincent wore there has been damaged as he took it off.

For Vincent, the right side of his waist is bleeding heavily as he received Gabranth's Execution attack, '…What an attack…' He thought as he placed his right hand on his wound and starts to cast Cure to heal himself, but the healing process is slowed down due to the presence of the Chaos from Gabranth, healing speed process will be slow down. Receiving any attack from the elite warriors of Chaos can damage him.

Gabranth also suffered heavy injury from Vincent's attack just now capable to penetrate through his armor, inflicting a heavy vertical wound on his chest. "…Not bad… immediately deliver an attack onto me…" He commented before he stood up slowly, and same goes to Vincent as he stood up as well.

Vincent stares at the Dual-Blades Gabranth currently wielding, '…Is there any way to counter his weapon?' He thought.

"You're holding back because of these humans below there, right?" Gabranth said. "That is your fatal weakness, holding back your capability means your death, knight of the goddess."

"…Ain't that a bit exaggerating?" Vincent said back as he tries to buy time to think. Then, the moment his left hand clench into fist, it reminds him something back then. '…Wait… I haven't tried that one yet…'

Flashback

On the rooftop of Mahora Academy, the girls of Class 3-A are having a farewell party for Chao, Vincent had a thought, then he went and ask the female martial artist, "Ku Fei," He calls.

"Hm?" Ku Fei turns around as she was been called. "Yes, Vincent-sensei-aru?" The girls are having chit-chatting to each other without bothering both Vincent and Ku Fei's conversation.

After a short conversation, "As a martial artist, do you think that move existed?" Vincent asked.

Ku Fei was surprised hearing that from her teacher, "…Honestly… I don't think that move kinda exist-aru…" Ku Fei replied as she scratching her head speaking with her experience as martial artist, "…Even if it's existed, it will take a long time for martial art masters to master it-aru… some more… I think it'll require a lot of Ki energy-aru."

"Hm…" Vincent thinks as his expression changed.

"…Vincent-sensei, you look like you want to learn that move-aru…" Ku Fei said as she sees his expression. Vincent looked back at Ku Fei before he smiles.

"…I think I will try to make this move into reality." Vincent said.

Flashback ended

"…" Vincent then becomes quiet before he dispels away his weapon, which took Gabranth's attention.

"What?" Gabranth did not expect Vincent withdrew his weapon away. "Why did you withdraw your weapon?" He asked before he noticed Vincent changed his fighting style, into martial art style as he borrows Tifa's strength.

'…Tifa, I'm borrowing your strength…' Vincent thought before he replies back Gabranth's question, "…I'm not done yet." He told.

Gabranth realized, "…Using your bare fists? A fighter?" He said as he sees Vincent clenched his hands into fists, indicating that Vincent changed his fighting style into close combat fighter. "Ha ha ha ha ha!" He laughs, "I thought you've given up, but I guess not… you really are unpredictable warrior…" He comments as he readied his stance.

"I take that as compliment then." Vincent said before he receives an emergency statement from Mog through telepathy.

"Vincent! The crystal fragment got a crack, which means the demon inside there is going to free itself, kupo!" Mog told.

Vincent widened his eyes for not expecting it happens so soon, "What?" Then, Gabranth charged at him and send out four enormous energy blades to Vincent. Vincent focuses back on his current situation as he sees four incoming enormous energy blades, '…I have to end this quickly without doing any large scale attack.' he then strengthen his fists and break each of them into pieces using his fists.

Once Vincent done destroying those, he looked back at incoming Gabranth as he approaches at him in close distance, and both of them once again exchanging attacks, blocking, deflecting, and dodging attacks. But this time Vincent has an advantage as he can freely use his legs together with his speed in close combat, together using any element attacks combining with his fists and legs, extremely effective to break through Gabranth's defense.

Vincent kicks him away before he readies one of his spells, "Blizzard" Vincent casted out a block of ice in front of him and then he smashed the ice block in front of him using his fist, breaking the ice block into small pieces and sent those toward to Gabranth.

Gabranth sees an incoming wave of ice pieces toward to him like a hail of bullets, he then spins his Dual-Blades to deflect those incoming ice bullets, he managed to deflect most of those ice bullets, but cannot fully deflect those as some bullets managed to hit him.

"…Ugh…" Gabranth cursed after being injured by the ice bullets as he staggered. When he looked up in front, he seeing Vincent already approached to him and taking attacks from him.

Gabranth right now received hail of punches from Vincent, and when Vincent done his attacks, he continues with his final attack using a new move he learned few days ago, changing his right fist into palm. "I've never thought of using this against one of you Chaos warriors, but…" He said as he pours energy and Ki he learned during the tournament into his palm, "Buddha's Palm" he slammed his palm onto Gabranth's chest, a powerful shockwave occurred together with bright light coming out from the attack.

Gabranth received another powerful attack from Vincent as he spitted out bloods from his mouth. "UGHH!" He screams in pain as he could hear his bones shattered.

A moment later, everything calms down, Gabranth slowly losing his strength and fall onto the ground, together with his Dual-Blades as his hands letting them go. Their battle is over.

Vincent stares down onto Gabranth lying on the ground motionlessly, he could see a mark of hand printed on Gabranth's chest armor before he felt a sharp pain coming from his right forearm, '…Damn… a Ki beginner-user like me to use that move… it's sure painful to use a large scale of Ki for a sudden…' He thought while holding his right forearm.

"…T-that… that move… W-what… was that… move…?" Gabranth asked while panting exhaustingly. "I felt… an energy that I do not recognize…"

"…Buddha's Palm," Vincent stated the name of the move, "something like focusing your inner energy into your hand, releasing a powerful shockwave onto its contact… I'm still a beginner though." He sighed. "You were holding back, right?"

"…" Gabranth remained quiet while still lying on the ground bathing under the rain.

"I knew you also don't want to involve innocent people." Vincent said before he needs to focus back onto the other matter, the crystal fragment. "…Anyway, I have to get back to the museum… because the crystal fragment started to crack."

Gabranth heard of what Vincent said, "…So it's about to be release huh." He said with uninterested tone before Vincent jumps off from the edge.

"It looks like the fight is over." Kaitou said as they can feel the rain has started to calm down. Then, they noticed someone is coming downward from the top of the unfinished building, they see the person landed in front of them, and it was a tall man with long black hair.

"Vincent!" Mog shouts as he glad to see Vincent won the fight, while Conan and Kaitou were stunned a little there to see a man they see in magazine appeared in front of them.

"It seems you two are alright," Vincent said before he looks at the crystal fragment which is unharmed from the rubbles. "…So it's cracked." He said as he sees the crack on the surface of the crystal.

"…What is that thing inside that… crystal?" Kaitou asked as he unfamiliar.

"…From what I know, it's a small piece of a powerful demon." Vincent replied.

Conan and Kaitou surprised a little, "…Okay, first the gods, now this demon inside of this crystal…" He said with a little disbelief.

"How… powerful is this demon?" Conan asked as he started to understand why the demon inside the crystal.

Vincent glanced at Conan as he sees the kid isn't an ordinary kid, he then reply back, "To be honest, I've never face any one of them so far," He said, "…Right now, this will be my first time facing this demon."

"…'Them'?" Kaitou said, "You mean… there's still more of this thing?"

"There are three in total, including this one right here." Vincent replied. "Anyway, Mog, is there any way to seal it back once again before we retrieve it and send it back to where it belongs?"

"Use Light element to seal it, kupo." Mog replied, "But be careful of its defensive mechanism, like I've mentioned before, when there is something powerful approaches, it will unleash out a powerful shockwave, sending everything away, kupo."

"I will," Vincent replied. Then suddenly, the crystal fragment shattered instantly right in front of them. "What!?" They are shocked to see the crystal fragment suddenly shattered without any hesitate.

"T-the crystal… shattered suddenly?" Conan said. The shattered crystal fragment fades away into nothing.

"T-The crystal… it must've lose all of its power to contain, kupo!" Mog told.

As the rain still goes on but not fiercely, they can started to see well the black object that were once sealed inside the crystal, a black sphere that float on the pedestal. Then, a large eye just opened up, frightens both Conan and Kaitou, for them, this is their first experience to see such creature. They see the unknown creature slowly move its eye to the left and to the right, as if the creature is looking to its surrounding.

"Everyone, do not move an inch." Vincent told to them using telepathy. "…Right now, we do not know how dangerous this demon can cause."

"…Indeed kupo…" Mog agrees as he nervous, "…Try not to make any sound." Conan and Kaitou are trying their best to stay still as normal humans. When the creature looked at them, they startled but still not making any move. However, the demon moved away its eye from them, looking to its surrounding once again.

'…Its eye… its eye cannot see anything but detecting any motion?' Vincent thought as he reading its movement and action. Then, the wall behind them suddenly collapsed and hit on the floor, causing it turns its eye together with a killing intent. Vincent widened his eyes as he felt an enormous killing intent coming from the creature, "Get away!" He shouts to Conan and Kaitou as he brought out his hand and casted out a Barrier. The creature grew out its tentacles and launches its tentacles toward to where the sounds come from. And, the creature's tentacles capable to break through Vincent's Barrier and one of the tentacles shot through Vincent's waist before hitting the rubbles behind them. "…Ugh!"

Fortunately Conan and Kaitou managed to dodge the attack just in time. "V-Vincent!" Conan startled to see Vincent injured. The demon withdraw its tentacles back into it, and Vincent fell on his kneel, his bloods flows down from his wound hitting the ground, creating more sounds for creature to know his location, including the smell of blood. They see the creature suddenly opened its mouth with sharp teeth, indicating it found its first meal.

"…So… it wants a meal huh?" Vincent said with a smirk while healing himself with Cura. "Well, you just found yourself a meal here." He said as he taunting the creature, in order to avoid its eye eyeing onto Conan and Kaitou. "…Mog, get them into safety, it seems like I've no choice but to end this thing now…" Vincent told through telepathy.

"What!? You can't be serious! You're wounded right now, kupo!" Mog said.

"…Trust me, I won't die easily, that is because I'm going to use my Limit Breaks." Vincent said, and this makes Mog surprised. "…Besides, it's impossible to retrieve this thing and send it back to where it belongs, right?"

"…It seems like you have no choice… be careful, alright!?" Mog said as he understands the current situation.

"I will. Right now you three should get out of here." Vincent said before the communication cuts off. His wound healed up, "…I think I got a suitable name for the likes of you…" He said as the demon grew a pair of dark wings on its back, its body started to form into humanoid shape, its legs and hands armed with claws together with its head grew out two horns, and its starts growling.

"We need to go, now!" Mog told to the other two, they quickly move away from the museum.

When the three of them are away from the museum, "Hell Bringer." right after Vincent finished his talk, he started to gather his energy into his Protomateria in order to use his Limit Breaks, Vincent's appearance starting to change, his eyes turned into yellowish eyes filled with demonic power, his hair turns into white as two black horns grew out of his head, his skin turns into dark blue, sharp claws grew out from his hands and legs, his transformed body ripping away his outfits but his pants is still intact, the Galian Beast.

*Growl* the Galian Beast growls at the demon in front of him now. Vincent-Galian Beast can feel himself that his power increased tremendously while under the 40% of his capabilities. However, he cannot unleash any more belts when he is in his Limit Breaks state.

*Growl* the demon growls back at the Galian Beast, its eye detecting a powerful presence on its front, as it wanted to fight something powerful.

Then, another piece of wall crumbles down and the moment it crushes down on the floor, both of them lunges to each other and drawn out their claws simultaneously and their attacks crashed onto each other, a powerful shockwave occurred.

This is a contest of strength to see which one of them has a better term in strength as their claws slammed onto each other and push to try to overwhelm their opponent. The more strength they pour into their arms, their feet sinks into the ground beneath them, not just the museum, the streets outside also started to crack from the museum, indicating that the place cannot withstand their overwhelm strengths.

However, Galian Beast still has his sane on, he noticed that the ground cannot hold much longer the longer they keep on fighting in this contest of strength, but still, he has the advantage in term of strength, and what's more, he can feel there are no people within 30 meters radius range around them. He immediately overwhelms the demon by forcefully push the demon and slam it onto the ground, followed up with his fist and pounded onto the demon's head, another shockwave created.

But, it doesn't meet his expectations, the demon grins at him, indicating that the fist attack wasn't strong enough, the demon counter attack back as it launches its tentacles from its back toward to Galian Beast, the beast immediately jumps away and avoided the attack, seeing the tentacles drilled into the ground in front of him.

Galian Beast takes this chance to attack the demon while its tentacles are still bury in the ground and slashed its tentacles away from its body, followed up he brought down his claw onto the demon, but the demon blocked his attack, and the demon launched a kick onto his guts, sending Galian Beast onto the sky. "Ugh…!" Galian Beast knows that he will be in disadvantage in terms of sky, he quickly recover his form back before noticing the demon flew towards to him. Luckily the rain still going on, otherwise a lot of people will notice two creatures that they have never seen before are fighting. Their fighting place switched into sky which is 500 meters from the ground, giving the demon more advantage since it has a pair of dark wings. Then, Galian Beast suddenly felt something on himself as his body glowing white light as he stopped and floating in the midair. "…?" He wonders before he receives a communication through telepathy.

"Vincent! I've gave you a supportive magic called Flight, which allows you to fight that demon in air freely, kupo!" Mog informs.

"…Thanks." Vincent-Galian Beast replied back with his extremely deep voice before the communication cuts off. Now, the Galian Beast can now fully focus on the demon, even fighting in the air. Now, there is no obstacles that will hinders their way, Galian Beast first taunts the demon by doing the 'come on' gesture, provoking the demon as it works, forcing the demon to took initiative as it lunge at him readied its sharp teeth to try to gnaw him. Galian Beast noticed the demon tries to bite him with its sharp teeth, he then lunge towards to the demon and readied his claw and swings upward, the demon took the uppercut attack from Galian Beast, followed up the Galian Beast sends out a barrage of his attacks, giving no advantage for the demon to counter back.

Mog, Conan, and Kaitou are watching the fight between Galian Beast and the demon from the rooftop of one of the nearest buildings. "…H-he could transform into a lycanthrope?" Kaitou said.

"…He was been experimented before, kupo." Mog told them about Vincent, and the word 'experiment' caused Conan to widen his eyes.

"…He was been experimented…?" Conan said with disbelief, and Mog nodded. Conan clenched his fist as he understands the pain. He is also a victim that was shrunk down from teenager back into child form with one pill. Then, he plans to help Vincent. "Mog, do you have any magic that can boost power output?" He asked.

Return to Vincent in Galian Beast form as he able to overwhelm the demon, and when he gave the demon a powerful upper kick, sending the demon onto the sky higher before he prepare another attack as fire coming out from his mouth, Beast Flare, he unleashes his fire breath to the demon, and when the fire breath contacted with the demon, a powerful explosion occurred, unleashing out a large shockwave coming from where the explosion occurred.

When the smoke dies down, Galian Beast can see the demon has been wounded by his attack, seeing the demon lose its left arm. The demon looked at Galian Beast then growl hostility with full intent to kill before it charges at him. Then, someone arrives to them.

"Eat this, monster." The Galian Beast recognized the voice as he looked beneath them, seeing Gabranth who was injured arrives with his Dual-Blades in thrust stance, flying toward and pierce through the demon. "Execution" Once again another explosion occurred after he delivers his Execution attack onto the demon.

*Scream* the demon screams in pain.

Vincent-Galian Beast right now is curious, to see one of the Chaos's elite warriors arrived and help him, "…Finish it." Gabranth told before descending to the ground, and then he understands why. The Galian Beast look back to his opponent, to see the demon now suffered another heavy injury as its left waist wounded. However, the more injuries inflicted onto the demon, the angrier the demon as its eye glowing menacing red.

*Scream* the demon screams angrily before it flew toward to Galian Beast and both sides exchanging attacks in incredible speed, right now the demon has the advantages in term of speed, faster than the Galian Beast, forcing the Galian Beast unable to withstand its insane attack speed.

And when the demon throw its kick onto Galian Beast's head, stunning him momentary, the demon open its mouth, a large amount of saliva flowing out from its mouth for it began to fill its hunger. When the demon flew toward to Galian Beast with its mouth with sharp teeth opened, Galian Beast quickly seized its mouth from being chewed. The demon then releases two tentacles from its back, flew over it and shot through both Galian Beast's arms, trying to weaken his strength. "Ugh…!" The Galian Beast is in critical situation as he trying his best to hold the demon's hungry teeth.

"Can you really do it, kupo!?" Mog asked as he stood on top of Kaitou's shoulder.

"Trust me! I can do this!" Conan replied as they are now flying in the sky, using Kaitou's hang glider, together with Mog's Wind Shield which protecting them from the violent wind, allowing them to have a steady flight in the air.

"Trust this kid, Mog, he can do this." Kaitou said while holding Conan on his hands. "I've been eating his football attacks for so many times."

Conan then readjusting his Anywhere Ball Dispensing Belt, then a football came out of his belt and he holds it. "Mog, now!" Conan shouts as he starts to adjust the power of his Power-Enhancing Kick Shoes, allowing him to kick any objects with tremendous power.

"Power amplifying… go!" Mog chants a spell onto Conan's enhanced shoes, boosting the power of his shoes even more as red light glowing on Conan's shoes.

When they see Galian Beast and the demon are in front of their sights, "Go!" Kaitou signaled the kid before Conan kicks the football.

'…Its strength… is unbelievable…' Vincent-Galian Beast is struggling to prevent its sharp teeth to gnaw at him, until something flying towards to the demon without noticing. A football, just struck onto the demon's eye and destroyed, causing the demon went panicked as its one and only eye just destroyed.

Vincent-Galian Beast did not expect a football just capable to destroy the demon's eye before he hears someone shouts at him, he looked at the direction where the voice come from, seeing Kaitou is flying around with his hang glider carrying Conan together with Mog.

"Vincent! Quickly!" Mog shouts before they flew away.

Vincent-Galian Beast looked back at his opponent panicking around with its eye loss. He then lunges toward and rammed at the demon, followed up as he slashing the demon with his razor sharp claws, weakening the demon before he began to finish the demon using his fire breath once more. "Beast Flare" This time, Galian Beast pours more energy into his next attack, and unleashed a very intense breath of fire to the demon. The demon sees an incoming fire breath toward to it, the demon quickly bring up its hand and created a barrier to withstand the attack. Unfortunately for the demon as its barrier unable to withstand Galian Beast's Beast Flare, cracking the barrier before it shatters and burn up the demon.

*Scream* the demon screams in pain before it gets incinerated into nothing. And, that was Vincent's first battle against the Hell Bringer demon. Once the smoke has been cleared away, Galian Beast sees a glowing object on where the demon dies, he approach to the light to verify it, revealing the object is a small crystalized eye.

Mog, Conan, and Kaitou have seen everything as they are on the top floor of the unfinished building where Gabranth was defeated, "He won against that thing…" Conan said.

"…Phew…" Kaitou let out a breath of relief, "if he lost against that thing, we're dead."

"Conan, if it wasn't your assistance, Vincent could not able to stand a chance just now, kupo." Mog mentions before the Galian Beast landed right in front of them and they get startled.

"…" Galian Beast remained quiet before he transforms back as the body of Galian Beast shrinks down, the white hair reverting back into black hair, the skin slowly changing back into human skin, they seeing the Galian Beast slowly turns back into human form. A few seconds later, Vincent has returned back to human form, his shirt was gone, leaving only his pants on. "…How many centuries have passed since my last time to transform?" Vincent said as he sat on the ground.

"Vincent, are you alright?" Mog asked as he flies to Vincent and casted Restore magic onto Vincent, instantly heal his wounds.

"Thanks," Vincent thanked Mog before he glanced at both Conan and Kaitou, "…If it wasn't you two, along with Gabranth, I would have lost to Hell Bringer."

"Hell Bringer?" Mog wonders.

"That's the name I gave to that demon, I underestimated its strength." Vincent replied before he stood up and approach to both of them, and bring out his right hand, "You have my thanks." He offers his gratitude to both Conan and Kaitou for their assistance.

"Heh," Kaitou smirks as they handshake, "No problem. After all, I don't want that thing destroying everything around." He said after their handshake.

"Say," Conan mentions one thing, "Where is that guy you called Gabranth?" he asked as he looks around.

"He's here." Vincent replied before someone just landed beside them, causing both Conan and Kaitou to raise their guard.

"…" Gabranth remained quiet before he dematerialize his Dual-Blades in front of them, indicating that he is not going to have a fight. "I'm not going to fight."

Kaitou glare at Gabranth with unfriendly expression, after of what Gabranth did to him before. "I still haven't return back the favor you did to me." He said with unsatisfied tone.

"…" Gabranth remained quiet before he smirks, "Hmph," he then took out something from his pocket, and threw it to Kaitou. Kaitou caught something from Gabranth, and when he sees the object he caught just now, it was a jewel. "Forgive me that I did horrible things to you back there." He apologizes as he sat on the ground leaning his back on the wall behind him before he stares onto the sky as the sky stopped raining down.

"You summoned out the rain in order to prevent all of those people to see us fighting, and the demon as well, right?" Vincent said as he sees through. "You knew this will happen."

"…" Gabranth remained quiet before he starts, "…Just… how many years… how many years that we have to suffer in this endless war…?" Gabranth said in question tone.

"…The war, you mean the war between God of Discord and Goddess of Harmony, right?" Conan asked.

"Correct, it seems you two are well informed." Gabranth said.

"If you're tired of this endless war, then why not rebel against that Chaos?" Kaitou asked with a little angry.

Gabranth looked up at Kaitou before he laughs, "Ha ha ha ha ha…!" He quiets down before continues, "…I was been banished, banished into the hell dimension, for trying to escape this fate." Gabranth told, "…One thousand years ago, when the warriors of Cosmos managed to defeat the Chaos, I thought everything has ended. Then, one thousand years later, Chaos reincarnated once again, and… the cycle of war restarted."

"…The Chaos, God of Discord, managed to reincarnate himself, because he had a backup plan," Vincent started, "that is before the battle between him and the warriors of Cosmos, he split a small portion of his soul from his main soul, he knew that the battle between him and warriors of Cosmos, will end his life." He continues. "Once he was defeated, the warriors of Cosmos including Lady Cosmos thought everything is over, but it wasn't. The last remaining small portion of Chaos's soul was still there. His defeat doesn't matter to him, as long as the soul wasn't harmed, no matter how many years or decades or centuries pass, the soul of Chaos will regenerate his energy back."

Gabranth and others have listened to his explanation, he placed the back of his head facing the wall behind him, "…Dammit, so that's how he was reincarnated. How did you know about this?"

"Jecht gave me a sphere," Vincent replied as he took out an object, a blue semi-sphere item. "It's a recording device that allows the user to record everything and store it into this small device. I've learned everything a few days ago." He then placed it back into his inventory.

"…Still, you won't give up, right?" Conan asked Vincent.

"It's obvious, right?" Vincent said, "Of course I won't give up, no matter what."

"So, what are you going to do now?" Kaitou asked, "Now this demon has been destroyed, you have two more."

"…No, that one just now wasn't its main body." Vincent re-corrected the statement.

"What!?" Kaitou and Conan surprised, "…How powerful are these things?"

"Let me tell you something," Vincent said as he shows them his arms with tattoos, "You see these tattoos?" he said, "These are the sealing powers that bind my powers, and right now my current power is in 40%, which I can easily annihilate an entire army in one shot." He explains.

"…" Conan and Kaitou can understand of his statements.

"Now… the demon just now that I faced can injure me badly even I was in my Limit Breaks state." Vincent continues, "And still, that demon was just a small portion of its main body. Plus, there are two more of such foes. Now, can you imagine how terrifying these demons can cause?" He paused, "Because there are a lot of people here, I cannot go fully all out. Like what Gabranth mentioned before, that is my greatest disadvantage."

Conan and Kaitou are nervous after hearing those, "…I see… these demons serve as power vessels, right?" Kaitou said.

"And that's why the Chaos is planning to seize these demons, right?" Conan said.

Vincent smirks as he sees their intelligences, "Correct," He replied. "And that's why me, together with Mog, we have to find and retrieve those crystals before they free themselves, or the Chaos's forces will seize the chance."

"Yet still, we don't have to worry much, kupo~" Mog mention one thing, "The crystal itself has a protection mechanism, that the crystal itself can hide its presence from two sides, which is an advantage and disadvantage to us, kupo…" He then frowned.

"Correct," Vincent pat on Mog's head softly, "What Mog says is true, the crystal can hide its presence from us, preventing anyone to find and seize it." He helps explain.

"So… how are you going to find them?" Kaitou asked, "It has to be a way to find those crystals."

Vincent smirks before he brought out something, a glowing crystalized small eye. "…Isn't that?" Gabranth asked.

"Correct, this object here is from the demon that I killed just now." Vincent replied. "I believe this object here is a part of the demon."

"Yes! With that object serve as a sensor," Mog started, "we can find those crystals easily, kupo!" Then, Vincent gave the object to Mog before he went and sat on the ground, leaving Mog tinkers the object.

"Gabranth, what are you going to do now?" Vincent asked Gabranth as he is sitting on opposite side.

"…I won't stay here any longer," Gabranth replied as he looked up to the sky, "my purpose to fight you in the first place is complete." He replied. "I guess I have to say goodbye to sir Jirokichi and lady Sonoko."

'W-what!? S-S-Sonoko?' Conan and Kaitou surprised to hear that.

"The time that I spent with sir Jirokichi and lady Sonoko during the time to visit them, it was quite enjoyable." Gabranth said. "After all, I'm an outsider of the cycle of war."

"But still, you helped me just now." Vincent mentioned as he remembers Gabranth flew toward to the demon and managed to stop the demon's attack by inflicting a powerful attack. "I think you better reconsider your decision there, do what you need to do, as a Judge."

"…" Gabranth remained quiet.

"Vincent, I've done tinkering the object, kupo~" Mog said as he arrives and hop on his hand, showing him the object that Mog was tinkering just now. He sees the object has been improved into an accessory, an earring.

"An earring?" Vincent said as he took the earring from Mog before he gets up.

"Wear it, and it will help us guiding our search, kupo." Mog said as he floats in front of them. Vincent take a look on the earring, the chain did not attached on the crystalized eye, but it crystalized eye is hovering inside the chain. Vincent then wears the earring on his right ear.

"Then, let me change my outfit first." Vincent said as the darkness coming out from beneath and wraps around him, and when he is done changing, the darkness around him fades away. His outfit has changed into his usual outfit, his Turk uniform, black suit, black leather shoes, and black necktie.

"I better get going, that's because I can hear the police siren." Kaitou said grinning as his hang glider brought out from his back covered with his white cape, he runs toward to the edge and jumps off and fly away.

"Then," Gabranth gets up from the ground, "…I must return back and apologize to sir Jirokichi and others, including Lady Sonoko." He said before he disappeared in front of them.

"Then," Vincent said as he grabbed Conan on his collar. "Let's switch place, shall we?" Vincent said before they disappeared from the scene. Shortly later after the rain stopped, the civilians has calmed down after all these happens in sudden, the entire places around museum are totally wrecked caused by the storm, is swarmed with police forces and they began to investigate these unknown causes of destructions.

Somewhere on the rooftop far away from the scene where there is no people around, Vincent and Conan has landed on the rooftop. "Hm?" Vincent noticed Conan got frozen in fear after the trip. "My apologies, I shouldn't do that."

"I-It's o-o-okay…" Conan forgives him before he calms down.

Vincent got a question that he wants to ask, "Conan." He calls.

"Y-Yeah?" Conan responded.

"What's with the body of a child?" Vincent asked, and which surprises Conan.

Conan knew that he cannot hide his secret in front of Vincent, "…When did you noticed?" He asked as his expression changed.

"You remember the day we first met?" Vincent said, Conan recalls back the day their first met, in front of the Teito Bank which was few days ago.

"Yeah, in front of Teito Bank," Conan replied.

"Simple." Vincent replied, "No kids ever dare to step in front of Teito Bank which the armed robbers took the building, some more the police officers did not even mind about you at all. As if it's like… you've accompanied them frequently in some cases, right? Such as the murder cases."

"…" Conan was impressed with just one met, and he was impressed by Vincent's intelligence. "You're correct, this child body of mine here isn't my real form."

"Wow," Mog said. "I never thought humans capable of producing such drug, kupo."

"…Yeah," Conan said, "After what they've done, I will never let them get away that easily." He said as he clenched his fist tightly after all incidents related to the Black Organization, he remembers there was a woman he was unable to save, the deceased woman known as Akemi Miyano, Haibara's older sister.

Vincent can understand Conan's anger, he kneels down to Conan's height, "Calm down, Conan," he said as he addressed Shinichi as Conan, "criminals like them can run, but they cannot run forever. You still have friends that help you catch them, right?"

"…" Conan recalls back that he still has reliable friends from different places, especially his lover. "…Yeah, I still have them." He said.

"Criminals like them won't be able to hide forever," Vincent said, "You just have to look every angle, and with your intelligence and your keen of sense, you will definitely catch them." He continues, "Have faith in yourself, and your friends." He brought out his fist.

"…" Conan remained quiet before he nodded and smirk, "Thanks." He then gave Vincent a fist bump as friend.

"Now, shall I bring you back to your agency?" Vincent said as he stood up, "There is a favor I need you to do, Conan."

"Hm?" Conan wonders.

Vincent right now is standing in front of the entrance of a cafeteria shop, and above the cafeteria shop which is the famous detective agency. "Thank you~~" Shout by a child from inside the building, Vincent can hear footsteps sounds coming from the stairs, seeing Conan arrives to him with an autograph with a signature. "Here you go."

"Thanks." Vincent thanked as he received the autograph from Conan, "A friend of mine is actually a fan of the famous detective Sleeping Kogorou." He said before he smirks, "It's hard for you to watch over him, right?" He said as he keeping his sense around him, to make sure no one hear their conversation.

"Ha ha ha…" Conan laughs with unsatisfied and unhappy way, "It cannot be helped… In order to capture those criminals in black, I have to increase uncle's fame, and become a famous detective, so that I will be able to capture them using uncle's power, while I am in this child form…" He explains as he frowns before his expression changed into annoyed and feel a bit regret, '…After that incident, I arrived back with them, and they scold at me for went missing in crucial time,' He thought, '…Still, the situation is under control, and luckily there were no casualties in that scene. Still… It's kinda my fault to make them worried…'

"Don't worry about that body of yours there, Conan." Vincent said, "You said that you have a friend who was the researcher from the Black Organization to help creating an antidote, right? Have a faith in her, she will definitely find an antidote in one day." He continues as he ensures.

"Yeah, but, can't your magic do something about this?" Conan asked without thinking ahead for once.

"I don't have any magic that can revert back your body through physically," Vincent replied, "And, even if I have that kind of magic, you should think about your friends first. What will happen to those who did not know your secret yet?" That moment when Conan heard that, he was stunned for a while for he did not even consider this before.

"…" Vincent sighed as he leans toward the wall, "Conan, just be patient, stick to your current form, and once you have captured those criminals, confess everything to your friends."

"…" Conan then sighed, "…I guess so." He said before he placed his hands on the back of his head and look up to the night sky filled with stars. "…I just don't want them to get involves in this…"

"…" Vincent remained quiet seeing Conan with sadness, he understands the pain. "You just need time, that's all."

"Yeah," Conan said as he calmed down before he turns his head facing Vincent as he getting off from the wall.

"I have to get going, Conan." Vincent said, "And, good luck on your quest." He brought out his fist.

"…" Conan then smirks before he brought his fist and bump on Vincent's fist, "You too, Vincent. Good luck. The fate of the world is depending on you." Conan replied back. Vincent turns around and jumps away, disappearing in front of his sight. Conan looked up at the sky before he hears someone calling for him.

"Conan-kun!" Calls by his childhood friend and his lover, Ran. "It's getting late, and you need to brush your teeth there!" Ran told as she coming down to Conan. Conan turns around seeing Ran coming down to him with his blushed face, knowing that he cannot keep on hiding his true identity from Ran. When Ran arrives to Conan, she noticed there is no one around, "Eh? Where's that person you said that wants father's signature?" She asked as she looks around.

"…That person already walks away. I was just standing here staring at the sky there." Conan replied back like innocent children before he points his finger up to the night sky. Ran looked up to the night sky filled with beautiful stars.

"Wah…" Ran was amazed seeing the night sky filled with a large number of stars before she kneel down and hug Conan from behind unconsciously while staring at the night sky.

"…!" Conan was blushed from being hugged by his lover, his face flushed with red as his heart is racing fast. '…Y-yeah… I think I should stick to this form a little longer…' He thought as he took Vincent's advice.

"Hey!" Kogorou coming down and arrives with them, "It's getting late for…" He scolds them before he looks up at the night sky filled with beautiful stars, "Oh…." and he was amazed as well. Then, three of them stood there a little longer to stare at the beautiful night sky.

Somewhere on the rooftop

Vincent stopped on the rooftop of one of the buildings close to the train station, he bring out his cellphone and plan to call the headmaster of Mahora Academy. Then, he felt a presence approaching to him, a presence he knows. As he turns around, seeing Gabranth arrives and landed in front of him with his formal black suit that he wore as bodyguard.

"Gabranth?" Vincent said as Mog appears out with a poof of smoke, "What brought you here?"

"I better inform this to you," Gabranth said as he looked up to the sky, "…Go to the world called Mundus Magicus." Gabranth told. "The crystal, I'm sure you'll find it over there."

"Mundus Magicus… it has a few names, like Country of Magic, kupo." Mog said.

"Mundus Magicus is a Latin language of the World of Magic, is an alternative world lies on the Planet Mars, the 4th planet of the solar system." Vincent answered. "This means we need to travel to that alternative world, a great chance the crystal might be there."

"Alternative world, kupo?" Mog asked.

"Albireo told me everything before the festival, the world Mundus Magicus did not exist in the reality right now, but exist in an alternate plane." Vincent explains before he pause his explanation. "Speaking of Mars, Chao Lingshen stated she is a Martian from the Planet Mars, it means something big will happen in the future." Vincent then scratch his head, "…There are still many things I don't understand yet." He said.

"That because we're not from this world, kupo." Mog said.
