It's been awhile since the last author's note. Hasn't been feeling well lately. Thanks for the reviews and reads. Sorry if I don't respond. I suck at responding in here and until now I am still having difficulties in the functions.
As mentioned in the beginning of second part, this saga involves many fightings, not much of GV scenes yet but not much more to the exciting part of them fighting each other. (May be a little hilarious) I haven't re-write that scene yet but if I get more reviews in a week I'll quickly write all the way there and boom! Just kidding. My body hasn't been working very well lately so I need to find a time I can write.
Chapter 35: Vegeta VS Boru
Satan's match is coming next. While the audiences were all anticipating this awesome match coming out from their super champion, the ones who knew the truth simply feel pity for him. Now, there was no chance in hell he could get away with it easily. His opponent wasn't just a normal human after all. Satan focused on the woman opposite him and smiled confidently. Fighting a woman saves him the hard time after all. It should be easy to deal with. But he did not expect what was coming next from the announcer.
"Finally, we have the next match coming from the previous champion, Mr. Satan! I'm sure everyone has been waiting for this moment! Now the next one on my left is a female calling herself as Juuhachigou! Contestant Juuhachigou is doing her first attempt as well but she scored about 203 on the punching machine, well, though her first attempt scoring a 774 points seems to be due to the error of the machine. Well anyway, this is interesting coming from a female!"
Satan swallowed hard. He totally freaked out after hearing that score. W-Wait a minute! I remember there was a woman who scored 774 on her first attempt! My god! Don't tell me she is also one of those horrible group! He knew he was done for and his legs were shaking so badly that he could hardly stand. Imagine how bad he'll look if he was to lose against a woman.
Juuhachigou noticed his reaction immediately and send a smirk to tease him. Satan caught that and froze.
"Let's begin the match!" said the announcer when Satan hurriedly dashed to him. "Hold on, uh, can you wait for a minute? I need to have warm up before the fight. After all, my opponent is a woman and maybe it's best to give her some time to prepare. I need to be ready so I will not hurt her that badly."
The announcer blinked for a second. "Uh, okay. Ladies and Gentlemen, before we start the match, Mr. Satan will have a short warm up."
Satan sighed in relief as he can delay for awhile. He looked at the woman in front of him who was smiling at him. "Oh god, I can sense that woman is going to kill me on the match."
He knew that since she's an adult, it's not going to be as easy as Trunks who he had managed to trick.
"What's wrong? What happen to your warm up, Mr. Satan?" she purposely teased the old man.
"B-Buahahahaha!" and he started to do a few awkward warm up. "Ho! Ho! Ho! He! He! He!"
Videl slapped her head in embarrassment. "Oh papa..."
Gohan noticed that and tried to make her feel better. "M-Mr. Satan is strong so yeah, he'll do his best!"
Videl stared at him for a second before she mutters softly. "No way he's gonna win against you guys."
"H-Huh?"
"You guys are monsters. How can my Papa beat you guys when all of you can use some sort of special powers?"
Oh crap. Gohan thought. How is he gonna answer her?
"Oh well, I already prepared that one of you will be the champion." she obviously knew her father is not a match against them. It was pretty obvious and she already knew that her father didn't defeat Cell. As for herself, she knew she's going to fight with The Great Saiyaman next. Winning is already not possible. Instead of worrying about her father, she should devise her plan to tear down the mask of The Great Saiyaman.
...
"Umm..." the announcer tried to call Satan. "Mr. Satan, it's been over 5 minutes..."
Satan stopped and sweat. "Oh no... What should I do? What SHOULD I DOOOOOOOOO?"
"Hey hurry up you slowpoke!" Juuhachigou warned. "If you don't start, I'll start attacking you, got that?"
The announcer followed Juuhachigou and yelled. "Alright! Let the match begins!"
BONG!
"Oh shit!" Mr. Satan screamed in his inner thought as he saw Juuhachigou charged towards his direction. "Oh I am dead!" and he shut his eyes.
...
Strange. He couldn't felt any pain and when he opens his eyes, he saw Juuhachigou's face so close to him and her hand grabbed his neck closer to her.
"Ahhhh..." Satan couldn't bear to move.
"Hmp, listen, you wanna win right? I can let you win, do you want?"
Satan swallowed and nodded nervously.
"You're rich right? All you really care is about your pride and status, so, if you want to win this round, you got to pay me 20 million zenni. How's that sound?"
"H-Hehhh?" 20 million zenni?! That isn't a small amount.
"It's not big. It's only twice of the kids division champion, you don't want me to raise that price, do you?"
"A-Ah... Okay... I-I will..." he had no choice but to agree. In the first place, he couldn't win against her. So in order to keep his dignity and status, he had no choice but to accept the deal.
Juuhachigou smirked. "You better keep your promise or else you knew what I'll do. After when I get up, I allow you to hit me. Of course, hit me as hard as you can." As soon as she finished, she screamed and pulled herself back and all the way to the ground. "Ahhhhh!" well, pretending that she was hit by Satan.
"Ooooohhh? Wah! Contestant Juuhachigou seemed like being hit by Satan and flew all the way back!" said the announcer as all the audience cheered.
"Yeah! SATAN! SATAN! SATAN!"
Satan pretended to laugh and roared to the audience. "Haha..."
"Oh?! Juuhachigou had gotten up from the ground!"
Juuhaichigou have a signal to Satan as he received it. He charged forward and gave his hardest hit to Juuhachigou as much as he can.
"..." Krillin.
"..." Piccolo.
"..." Gohan.
"..." Goku.
"..." Videl.
Vegeta didn't even watch.
"Heh?" Trugo just have a weird expression.
...
Juuhachigou was still standing there and a lame water drop appeared from the back of her head. "I-Is that your best?"
Satan gulped. She didn't even move a bit. He nodded.
Seeing that it was all he could gave, Juuhachigou had to pretend she got hit and pushed herself away from him and out of the ring. "Ahhhh!"
"Oooohhh! Satan gave a punch directly on Juuhachigou and she's out of the ring! Satan won!"
Everyone soared and yelled.
"..." the z fighters were kind of stunned with the results.
Juuhachigou ignored the cheers and came back to the group.
Krillin didn't really ask since he probably knew the reason. "Haha, she must have threatened him."
...
Now, the z fighters turned back into their serious mode as they saw Boru walking to their direction, planning to go out of the place and to the ring.
Of course, the next match is very… tense.
Vegeta simply just left the group first and prepare himself on the ring. As Boru walks pass the z fighters, they could felt an intense aura from Boru. He's flowing out a weird ki from him.
"Alright! Now, let's proceed the next match! This match will be a battle between two new contestants again. On the right would be Contestant Vegeta, who seemed to have destroyed the punching machine with one fist. On the left would be Contestant Boru, who seemed to have no data on him. Uh well, let's begin the match!"
BONG!
...
"Dad, beat that guy!" Trunks can't help but yelled. This is it. The time has finally come. Now when this Bayan is fighting against his father, the fight will definitely be very extreme.
Vegeta has been quiet for awhile, and it makes Boru to curious what he's thinking. "Vegeta that guy... He's smart. I wonder did he come up with something or not."
As for Gohan, he was praying hard that Vegeta won't turn supersaiyan. But knowing Vegeta, it's going to be very hard to predict. At the very least, he knew he should not let Videl witness this fight. Therefore, he silently slipped out from the group and quickly transform back to his usual state.
Quickly, he went back to the group and grabbed Videl's hand. "Hey!"
Videl was caught by surprised. "Gohan! What the...? Where have you been?! I mean, why are you here?! Only contestants are allowed!"
Gohan knew it was too troublesome to explain. "Videl, there's something I want to tell you, right now!"
"Huh? Now?" she doesn't know what Gohan is trying to do.
"J-Just come with me!" he pulled her along with him while Videl couldn't really resist him and follow him.
...
As soon as Gohan got Videl away from the ring area, he stopped and noticed Videl's glaring. "Haha... I had a bad stomachache again but now I am okay!"
"I-Is this what you want to tell me?" she frowned.
Gohan rolled his eyes to the corner. "Ah, actually... Ah, I saw Sharpner and Erasa awhile ago! I didn't know they came! H-Haha!"

Vegeta finally released his usual evil smirk. "So, I don't know if your plan was to really kill me but anyway, don't expect that I will be easy on you, whatever you name is."
Boru didn't reply. He already got information how well Vegeta is. "I've been waiting for this, Vegeta. The time where the prince of Saiyan will go to hell."
As soon as he finished, he clenches his fists and started yelling. "Hahhhhhhhh!" suddenly, a burst of ki and wind came out from him. It was just like how Goku and the others release their ki. The cloak cap dropped to the back and his appearance can be seen clearly now. As expected, he also possessed purple eyes. He had a muscular look face with a scar at his right cheek. Well it doesn't matter to Vegeta how he looks.
"It seems unlike that woman, this guy produces more ki easily. Heh, better don't disappoint me." he stared building up his ki.
"..." As expected, the Saiyans are indeed strong. Boru raised his ki so high that the ground had started to crumble. Bit by bit, pieces of the ground started to float up. "Hah!" he released his ki in one go and the pieces of stones flew right at Vegeta.
Of course, Vegeta didn't feel anything from that. He just literally smirked and commented. "Stop raising your ki and do something else. Is this what you Bayans can do? I thought their talent was supposed to be the elements." Although Vegeta seems to be confident on his face, deep inside he's trying to analyze what kind of element Boru possessed. From what he knows about the history of Bayans, usually one can go up to only 3 elements. After all, having all 5 elements are not possible for their body to handle. They are not like the Saiyans.
"Here I come." Boru said and disappeared in front of everyone's eyes. Of course, to Vegeta, it was just a simple basic quick speed. He moved in quick speed like his opponent and disappeared in front of everyone's sight.
The sound of clashes appeared and everyone once again were all astounded by that...
...
"Oi Oi, not again." one of them pointed.
"They disappeared but there's sound coming from the ring..."
"A-Are they even humans?"
...
Vegeta's eyes followed closly to him and he was able to fully take on Boru's speed. His speed was not a problem to Vegeta and in fact, there was nothing special about this big guy after clashes with him a few times. The strength from him is strong but not strong enough to damage him. He came to a conclusion that this big guy is not using his full power yet.
"What's wrong? Hmp, is that all you got?" he yelled to him while continued to clash against him.
Boru stopped and smirk. "Alright, in terms of strength, you are superior. But Vegeta, you had no knowledge about any of our power despite knowing our history."
"What?" he muttered while floating on the air. After hearing that, he tried to recall Gohan's match. The opponent was also a Bayan and it seems like that the water could turn into bubble substances. It's the same time as Kuristal. She makes use of the wind and created a tornado.
"Depending on what element we are using, we can call out any shape related to that specific element we want. Therefore..." Two different lights form from the palm of his hands. One in blue and the other in brown. He placed the lights together until all the way his hands stick to each other. The lights went off and then his hands started to glow in brown.
He was totally confused of the way how he did it. He didn't use ki, expected. But he feel something danger from his palm of hands. "T-That's right. It seems that they can do all sorts of things as long as it concern with elements. The blue light coming from his left must be the water element. The brown... Wait, what element is in brown? Earth?"
"Correct." Boru answered to him and suddenly pushed his hands to the ground of the ring. "Hah!" suddenly the ground started moving heavily like as if there's an earthquake. Since it's only on the ring, the audiences didn't feel anything. And out of the blue, something came out from the ground of the ring. The shape of a huge stick pops out from the ground and aimed at Vegeta.
Vegeta flew back and avoided but noticed another stick came straight at him at another corner. "!" he looked at Boru and tried to analzye what kind of ability this is. An element? Stick?" he stared at the sticks. "So, water and earth becomes wood." he thought and smirked. "You think this is going to defeat me?"
"Hah, don't underestimate my power." Boru clashes his fists together and yelled, "Hah!" suddenly, thousands of sharp woods and out from the ring and grew up rapidly. The speed increase and as if he's controlling it, the woods all started attacking Vegeta , turning around and stretching longer each time.
Vegeta dodged as if it was nothing to him until he felt that the sharp pointed woods seem to be getting closer and closer to him. "!" he finds the attack really boring and sends his punch straight to it, releasing his ki to increase the effect! It made the woods pushed back a bit and stopped for awhile but then suddenly shoots back up to him again. "!" he moved away again as he was shocked that he didn't destroy the wood which he had intended too.
"I knew I put more strength to destroy that annoying thing but it didn't even scratch." he thought silently and gave an unpleased look.
"The woods I created are stronger than even diamond, Vegeta. It's no mere or pure strength that can destroy it easily."
"Hoh?" he showed no sign of shock. It's not like he doesn't know that. Even though he knew the Bayans are only gifted in elements, he didn't feel satisfied at all. He prefers to fight with skills combat, not this kind of ridiculous power that has no theory. Whatever he did with the woods, he doesn't care. The fact the Bayans are enemies can't be denied and he can't just ignore. How hard he wishes to kill him, he knew he could not. If not he won't be able to fight against Goku.
...
"Oi, I think the tournament has already become an inhuman fight... I had no idea what's going on now."
"T-T-True..."
Bulma heard the conversation behind her. Not like she didn't see such crazy fights before but she has never really seen someone controlling the nature as they please. Of course deep in her heart, she knew Vegeta would win. After all, he's been training in that gravity room for so long.
...
Boru continued to attack Vegeta with his woods and the speed is getting faster and faster. "If I can't destroy these annoying things, I just have to attack that user huh?" Vegeta thought as he moved back swiftly to keep on dodging.
He stopped in mid-air and observed his enemy. After devising his plan, he uses his speed as an advantage and appeared behind Boru before he noticed.
He smirked as Boru turned his head. With all his strength, he sends a punch agains Boru's body!
Something splattered out.
Vegeta was about to smile when he stopped and realized the face of Boru. Even though his hands had gone through his body, the thing that splattered out wasn't blood. To his shock, it was in brown and sticky. It feels like mud to him that he had hit.
"Hehehe..." he laughed. "This is why you can never kill me even if you land a hit on me, Vegeta."
Vegeta removed his hand away from him quickly and moved back. He was shock and he could not deny it. "T-This guy... His body..."
"Yeah." Boru faced properly back to Vegeta and with snapped, the woods all disappeared in a flash of light and the ground was back to normal, though there are cracks everywhere. "Didn't I said? We Bayans aren't just using basic element. We can make anything out of the specific element. Since I am using the element of Earth, I made my body into Earth as well."
"..." he didn't really show much of any expression but deep inside, he was still confident. There must be a trick. No, it's not a trick. There must be a weakness in him.
"Now, Vegeta, how would deal with this? Hehehe..." Boru didn't wait for Vegeta's answer and used another attack. He raised his arm up and out of nowhere, a pool of mud was formed.
"T-That guy..." Piccolo bites his teeth. He never thought that Bayans could use their abilities like that. Nature is not something that anyone can control in the beginning. It's like when an earthquake come, you can't stop it until it stop by itself.
"..." Goku didn't say a word. He just plans to keep observing the fight.
"A-A pool of mud...?" the announcer lifted his sunglasses and takes a good look. Nothing can be described by words now.
Vegeta grinned. "You're not thinking that's gonna hurt me, are you?"
"Why don't you try and take a taste of it then?" Boru replied and released the attack. He controlled it by throwing at where Vegeta was.
Vegeta took his challenge and remain at the same spot. He didn't think that kind of attack will hurt him until at the very last attack, he spotted something. "!"
BLASTTTTTTT!
The blast was so loud that everyone yelled as covered their ears. The impact wasn't that great though.
"Vegeta..." Goku tried to see if Vegeta was okay. Of course, he knew Vegeta shouldn't be hurt since his ki is still there. But there was something strange.
The smoke around him slowly lifted away and Vegeta's shirt was torn a bit. He had wounds at the left of his cheek and seems like it was a cut. "T-Tch... T-That guy..."
"Heh? Vegeta got injured?!" Goku can't believe that kind of attack had hurt Vegeta even though it's not a serious one. Strange, the attack was supposed to be something muddy as yet it blasted at Vegeta and the result is he got a cut? It doesn't make any sense. "It's a relief Vegeta managed to use his ki and blow away the attack at the last second but what was that cut? How did he got that cut?" Goku muttered.
Piccolo was asking the same question to himself. What did that guy do during that attack?
Vegeta wiped off the blood that was dripping from his face and remained his posture. He of course had noticed what attacked him at the last second. "I see... Kind of sly huh?"
...
"T-The blast was indeed a shock and contestant Vegeta seems to be okay except a scratch..." the announcer said.
Both of them ignored the announcer.
"Heh, do you think I am just pulling out my attack with nothing in return? Be grateful I give you only a scratch."
At this moment, Vegeta recalled the last attack. At first he sensed nothing wrong with the attack that was coming straight at him but he knew that there was something not right. His opponent couldn't be just attacking recklessly like that. This was when he saw a shining sharp thing inside the mud. He quickly released his ki and the blast came. The blast is unexpected but it didn't harm him at all. The only thing that he failed to dodge in time was the sharp wooden stick that shot through from the mud and cut his face.
"Strange..." he tried to feel the wound. It doesn't even hurt him at all. Yet he felt something from it. That weird wooden sharp attack earlier, he mentioned saying it was even harder than diamond. So shouldn't it at least hurt more than that?
He noticed his opponent was smirking, knowing that himself was confused with his ability. Furthermore, he is still bothered by their real intention. Boru doesn't seem like he's giving of a killing aura. That woman Kuristal as well. "Whatever they are up to, this fight need to be finished quickly." he rolled his eyes at Goku for a second. "Kakarotto, even if you are able to achieve the third form, I will not allow you to damage my pride. I'm going to defeat you!"
"Oi Oi. I've been the one attacking so far. Why don't you come at me with your attacks?"
He knew his opponent will not die easily since he made his body into earth, which means his attacks will never hurt him. And they aren't even using ki to use their abilities. Turning supersaiyan wasn't an option as well. No killing in this ring is allowed as well and it frustrated him. He already had confirmed he's not their target anymore. So there isn't a purpose for this stupid fight. He needs to advance to the next fight or else he'll never fight against Goku.
He finished what he was thinking as suddenly he sensed Boru's attack again. That big pool of mud suddenly attacked him. Vegeta feel that dodging was too much of a big nuisance. But if he doesn't dodge, that weird mud will start to explode again, though, it doesn't causes much damage. He flew higher up and looked down at Boru. He placed a palm at where he was and threw a few ki blast on the ground. Boru avoided by flying up as well and it made him realized something.
"Heh, finally using your energy huh?"
"..." Vegeta looked closer to Boru's body. Since Gohan was also fighting against a Bayan earlier, he could tell some similarities about how they fight. However, since Gohan's opponent wasn't that strong to begin with, it's hard to see whether Boru's weakness is also the same. Gohan gave a kick and forced his opponent out of the ring, which means that physical attack still does affect them. But right now, Boru's body is made of earth. It doesn't work. But why? "Why did he dodged the ki I send to him? He shouldn't be afraid if he could regenerate once more... Could it be?"
He started throwing more of his ki blast against Boru but at the same time, he has to beware that the wooden sharp attacks within the pool of mud. The fight was getting so extreme and unbelievable that people have been complaining about their spilt cameras.
"It's odd!" one of the cameraman who was at the side explained to the staffs. "Before even the kids division starts, all cameras and even the backup cameras were all spoilt. I can't figure out the reason why it's not working at all."
"What?! The fights have been so inhuman and exciting and what's with the cameras?! I don't care! Hurry and go borrow the audience's cameras or something!" the one in-charge of the video camera yelled.
"T-The problem is, even the audiences cameras are not working... Isn't that... odd?"
"Huh?!"
Trunks and Goten were watching the fight and they can't help but felt so excited. "Dad! Beat the guy! Beat the guy!"
"Beat him! Beat him!" Goten went along with Trunks.
Goku turned back and wondered what's wrong with the guy with black costume. "That guy sure has a weird body. Can he be also one of Bayans?"
...
At this moment, Videl is getting more and more impatient. "Hey, if you're not gonna talk, then I should go back! I don't want to miss the crazy fights your father and his friends are doing!"
Gohan gulped. Well, until now, he hasn't felt Vegeta's supersaiyan ki appeared yet. But still, just in case, he wants Videl not watch the fight. It could be bad. What should he do to make her stay?
"Ah. Yeah! Why not we talk about your father? His fight with Juuhachigou was quite good!" he quickly started a topic, hopefully this would drag longer until Vegeta ends his fight.
...
As the time pass, he noticed the speed from Boru's attack are getting faster and sharper. "S-Strange... His attacks are faster each time I dodge."
"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Boru continued to attack fiercely.
"Huh? My attacks..." he questioned him. "I've been speeding up my attacks but he kept on dodging it easily. His speed shouldn't be that good so why?"
Boru knew that Vegeta had fallen into his trap. But he didn't say it out. He wasn't stupid enough to do that. "Bit by bit, I'm getting stronger. That's because when it comes to or gift, we're not using our own energy. However, Vegeta..." he raised his voice. "Bit by bit, you're going to get tired!"
Vegeta widened his eyes when the wooden attack suddenly rose directly at him. In the nick of time, he pushed his head up as if he is flipping his body. The attack miss again and the attack was about to shoot at the audiences!
"K-Kyaaaaa!" the audiences got up from their seats and tried to avoid the attack that was coming at them. Boru managed to stop the attack and make them disappeared with his fingers.
The announcer has been sweating for awhile. "W-Whew... What an attack!" he tried to warn. "Hey, Contestant Boru, I would like you to refrain your dangerous attacks at the audiences, you should know it's dangerous."
"Okay, okay." Boru snickered but his focus was still on Vegeta.
Goku had noticed as well. "Piccolo, is it 'that' time that he slowly started to change?"
Piccolo nodded as he also figured out. "Perhaps so. Ever since that attack, Vegeta's speed is getting slower."
"Vegeta hasn't realized that. He must have thought that Boru was the one who's getting faster but in fact, he's getting slower."
Vegeta flinched as he finally burst out in anger. He hasn't turn supersaiyan, not because he plans to listen to Gohan's advice of not to. He doesn't want to waste his energy against him. Ignore about that, it doesn't change anything except increasing his strength. If his opponent won't get hurt by physical damage, then it's not going to be easy. He needs to win this game by brains, not strength.
Slowly, he started to try to calm down. Over the years, he knew that when something surprises him, he gets a little impatient and work up. But if he uses his brain with a calm mind, he will be able to figure out the weakness. "First... Why dis his speed suddenly increase?" he asked himself and then notice his body. "I see! It's not him who's getting faster but I'm getting slower. Why?" he tried to call back. "I-Is it because of that attack earlier?!" he touched his face and tried to feel his body. Yes, he realized his energy is not full anymore. He didn't really use much energy yet something is draining out of him. "This means that I must finish this fight as fast as possible... And I'll attack that weakness of him!"
Goku noticed Vegeta's smirk. "Heh, seems like Vegeta had figured out. Maybe he got to know what kind of weakness that guy got."
"..." Piccolo then turned his head towards the opponent he's going to fight next. He told Gohan earlier he's going to forfeit after battling this guy. There's a reason why he wanted to fight this guy before forfeiting. Too many strange guys keep popping out and they are all related to the Bayans.
Trunks noticed the stare from Piccolo and whispered to his best friend. "Oi, Goten, Piccolo is looking at us. We must be careful."
"Ah, okay!"
"...what the hell is that guy?" Piccolo remained his eyes on them.

Vegeta flew up higher and higher, preparing his attack. "I guess that's the only way." a light form from his palm as he's about to begin his big bang attack.
"!" Boru noticed the ki that Vegeta was producing and controlled the pool of mud and flew straight at him.
Vegeta smiled and disappeared.
"!" Boru turned left and right as he couldn't see Vegeta. "No way! His speed is still that fast?! Where is he?"
"Here!"
"What?!" Boru noticed Vegeta was back at the ring and his attack as become bigger. "S-Shit..." he quickly used the mud he's controlling and defend himself by pouring all himself before Vegeta could attack.
"Big, Bang, ATTACK!" he disappeared from the ring and appeared on top of Boru!
"! What...?" he felt Vegeta's ki above him.
"Hah!" he released the attack and it hit Boru!
"Arg!" Boru used all his strength to withstand that the attack. It was good that he had poured the mud over him as a defense since it would be a big trouble if he gets hit by that attack. "Hehe... Nothing works on..." he stopped when he suddenly felt a big pressure from the attack that was pushing him down to the ground. The ground crack. "W-What the...?"
"Hahhhhhh!" Vegeta continued to push his attack against him.
"N-No way? W-Why? Where does his strength comes from?! He's not even supersaiyan yet!" was what he screamed in his thoughts. "Ah... AGGGGGGG!" the pressure was so big on him that his mud defense broke apart and the attack went straight against his body! "Arggggg!"
His body flew backwards and out of the ring.
Vegeta slowly ascended to the ground, staring at Boru, who quickly got up from the ground. Despite he wasn't injured that seriously, he was already out of the ring.
"Shit, I can't believe I lost like this...!"
"Ohhhh! Contestant Vegeta wins this match! Although the fight has been so complex, I felt that this is the fight that I've always wanted to watch!" yelled the announcer.
People had no idea what was going on but to just clap for the exciting match.
"Yeah I knew Vegeta would win!" Bulma yelled.

Boru stood up from the ground and covered his head with his cloak back. He glared dangerously at Vegeta while in his thoughts. "I see that he had figured out the weakness of my body. Hmp, I knew he's smart but just in that short moment of time... Huh... Well, my role ends here for now." he turned and walked back into the waiting area.
He walked passed Goku and all the way back to Kuristal.
"See? I told you that he's not that simple. Look how you lost like that." his partner mock at him.
"Shut up. He's smart. Besides, I haven't even used my full strength yet. This stupid rule tournament is just limiting the potential of a real fight."

"Hah, that was good, Vegeta." Goku said to him.
"With that, now we are sure that I'm not the target anymore."
All of them laid their eyes to the Bayans.
"But why would they purposely let us think this way? They shouldn't have said their purpose to us if they wanted to target someone among us." Goku couldn't comprehend the fact. "Besides, looking at the matches pairing; only Kuririn and Gohan will have the chance to fight against that woman."
"..."
"I don't even want to think of fighting that woman. Oh god, I had a feeling that I'll lose before even fighting her." Kuririn trembles and Juuhachigou smacked his head.
"You haven't even tried. I admit, that woman is strong. But you're not weak either. And besides, I don't think they will be serious against the fight when their plan doesn't seem to be the fight."
Piccolo cut in. "The Bayans have a plan, no doubt. It may seem like they are targeting Vegeta but now that possibility isn't there anymore. Who knows, they are not even targeting us."
"But the fact that girl who fought Trunks appeared and even revealed who they are proves that they are planning something that is going to do with us." Goku explained. "Everything is going messy now. Although that guy didn't turn serious when fighting against Vegeta, it may be that they are only trying to make us confuse. They may be planning something ahead and let us consider the other possibility.
"This means that whatever they said to us before, we cannot take it as real." Said Piccolo. "Son, this include your wife, Gohan and Goten as well. It may not seem that they would be a target but none of us know about their real plan. Besides..."

(Vegeta won? It hasn't even been 20 minutes. And... This means that they really are not targeting him? Then what was with Trunks's warning about someone is going to disappear? There must be someone they are targeting at, definitely. But who? Maybe it's not even related to the tournament fight pairing.)
"Gohan?"
"Ah! Ah! Yeah! Oh it's Piccolo's fight now! Shall we go back?"
She stared strangely at him.
"Go back? I think I'm the one who's going back."
Gohan almost forget about his identity. "Ah Yeah, I mean, I want to watch the next fight! Anyway, I'm off! See you later!"
With that, he escaped from her and quickly turned back into his Great Saiyaman costume.
"..." she blinked. "Then what's the reason of pulling me all the way here for? That Gohan..."

Gohan went back to the group and noticed they were together.
"Gohan!" Goku spotted him and told him to go to them. He explained their discussion to him and asked for his thoughts.
"If they had a plan that's unexpected, then we can't do anything about it until they start the plan right? I mean, maybe their plan is very simple but they all make it confusing. So I think that maybe their plan has nothing to do with who fights with who but just to confuse us. I get the feeling their plan will start after the whole tournament finish."
"Gohan's right. Their motive can't be predicted like what we are trying to figure out. Targeting one of us is still a possibility."
Gohan looked at Piccolo. There was something that his mentor hasn't said to anyone. But he kept quiet. He looked at his father. The enemy is too hard to predict. Who knows they are lying about not knowing Goku will appear today? Who knows that their aim is still Goku? After all, Goku has always been a big target to the enemies.
"Piccolo, your fight is next right?" he reminded Piccolo.
Piccolo nodded as he walks to the exit.
