Aurora's POV
"I came to collect a debt from Lady Yui the last of Seiryuu's of power is promised to me" the blonde told me and Tama. He then held up a fist. "I have waited for so long for this moment, I shall become a god and rule over all creation and then I alone shall decide what is allowed to exist and what is destined to be destroyed in the world, in this world as well as our own, I who was born to a hated tribe and forced to live a miserable existence shall decide the fate of all reality and you Aurora will be my goddess"
"Over my dead body!" I snapped.
"So you want to conquer unknown lands? For power, fame and fortune?" Tama questioned at the blonde.
"Fortune? Not at all this is vengeance"
Tamahome kissed Yui's forehead before coming to stand beside me.
"Become the ruler of reality? That isn't going to happen because you and I weren't created to exercise those kind of rights, you and I both are characters in a book we were created by the people of this world and without them we would cease to exist that's right you and I can only draw breath if someone animates us on paper and you think something fictional could control the real world?" Tama went on. "Give it up"
Nakago paused for a second before replying.
"Who cares about that?" he asked rhetorically.
"Who cares?! Are you f**king kidding me?!" I yelled.
"Even if everything you say is true Tamahome, you can't deny that we still exist so what difference does it make? Besides if someone in this world created me it means they are my creator, my personal god, and every man and every culture has a god when I become a god myself I will control the fate of others and I'll be able to destroy my creator's world"
"Oh hell no you ain't!" I yelled.
"You'll have to go through us, this world is where Aurora and Yui live and we won't let you devastate it alone destroy it" Tamahome shouted as he got into a fighting stance. The symbol on Nakago's head glowed and the fight was on. Nakago taunted us for a second before he was surrounded by a blue light and unleashed a wave of his life force at us and our surroundings got destroyed. Soon flames lit up around various buildings as did people scream. The ground shook from Nakago's assault.
Tamahome charged at Nakago but the Seiryuu used his speed to dodge the attack. He then tried to kick Nakago but again the blonde was quick to avoid it. He then appeared behind Tamahome and unleashed his life force using a blue beam of light. My best friend yelped as he endured the pain from Nakago's attack and he fell on the ground.
Nakago then eyed me and the unconscious Yui. Growling I used a black feather to form a shield around Yui before running over to Tamahome and I stood in front of him. Then I charged at Nakago with fury surging through my veins. Knowing he was fast I would be faster using my vampire and wolf speed. I leapt in the air and I threw my fist hard forward and was able to give Nakago a much deserved punch to his jaw. He swore before I tried to a do a roundhouse kick but the blonde caught my leg.
"I've always look forward to fighting you my love"
Snarling I threw another fist forward but Nakago caught it and he smirked before releasing my leg and seized my lips into his. Tamahome screamed in anger and when Nakago finished the lip lock he got out of the way of Tama's kicks and punches. I followed after Tama and together he and I continued to throw punches and kicks at the blonde but it was to no avail.
Nakago suddenly seized Tama in a choke good before slamming him into the ground. Then he picked up Tamahome by the hair and I shrieked before I charged and I body slammed Nakago hard. The impact was strong enough to separate Nakago from Tamahome and again I stood protectively in front of my best friend and fellow warrior.
"The only one whose is going to die here is you" I hissed at Nakago. "You've caused enough grief and pain"
Tamahome being the stubborn idiot he was got back up and he charged at Nakago. Tamahome was determined to bring the blonde down but his martial arts still couldn't touch the Seiryuu. Tamahome was sent flying again and he was on his back. Nakago again taunted Tama but Tama ignored him as he got up. Tama then ran at Nakago and having enough did the blonde unleash a beam of blue life force at him.
I used the black feather to form a shield around Tamahome and it protected him from the blast. Nakago shot me a glare and I shot him the bird as I rushed to Tamahome's side.
"Hold onto this" I ordered him giving him the black feather. "You need to rest for a few"
"Be careful sis" Tama told me and I kissed his forehead before leaving the safety of the shield. Nearby I saw Dad and my eyes widened when I saw he was in his black thieving outfit from the old days so our clothes were matched. Yui was awake now and Dad had tried to help her but a blue shield blocked him from getting to her.
"Huh I see a new ally has come" Nakago had finally noticed my father.
"So you're that bastard Nakago" Dad hissed.
Nakago eyed my father for a second before he looked back to me. A smirk then came to his lips.
"So that man is your father"
"Don't you dare Nakago" I hissed.
Nakago simply continued smirking and him even thinking about touching my father the Seiryuu would have drawn the line. Dad drew out a black feather and it glowed blue making the force field protecting Yui break. Before Nakago could even walk over did I rush past him and got in front of her and my Dad.
"Go and keep Tama safe I'll protect Yui"
"Be safe kid, Hotohori should be here shortly" He then kissed my forehead before summoning his wings and he flew over to Tamahome and was able to enter the shield I conjured.
"You have your father's eyes Aurora" Nakago said coming to a stop a few feet from me and Yui. Suddenly he appeared behind Yui and took hold of her.
"No more dawdling Lady Yui, the time has come for you to use your final wish and ask Seiryuu to make me a god, ask him to grant me eternal life and power over all creation"
"Never! After all you have done to me and Aurora I won't do it! I don't owe you anything let go of me Nakago!"
I smirked glad Yui was back on my side at long last.
"Lady Yui you don't understand you must keep your promise to me because if you don't I will have no choice but to kill Tamahome something I promised I wouldn't do, instead she will suffer"
Nakago then looked to me and then rocks lifted in the air before hitting me at a fast rate of speed. My arms and face began to get sliced into and I dropped the black feather I had in my hand. I screamed as I endured the pain.
"Stop it Nakago I thought you loved her!" Yui exclaimed. Nakago didn't say anything as he continued to attack me.
"AURORA!" Dad shouted.
"Stay in the shield!" I called out and as the rocks continued to strike me did my hair come out of its braid.
"Stop it right now your killing her!" Yui ordered Nakago.
Nakago obeyed and the rocks stopped hitting me. I fell onto my back and I still clutched Flame of Suzaku.
"Aurora!"
I opened my eyes at Hotohori's voice. My mate had finally made it. He soon held me in his arms and I teased him.
"Your late"
"So his highness has decided to join in" Nakago sneered.
Hotohori growled dangerously and helped me to my feet. I looked to Yui and she looked back to me. Tears streamed down her face.
"I'm so sorry Aurora, I'm sorry for not believing in you"
It broke my heart to see her like this.
"I finally understand" Yui went on. "I was just so angry when I never should have been, I know you would never intentionally hurt me and even when I was your enemy you never stopped believing in me I'm so sorry"
Yui then closed her eyes.
"It doesn't matter anymore I'm so tired"
She then opened her eyes again.
"Bye, bye"
"No! Yui don't!" I screamed. Hotohori held me back while Dad had to do the same to Tamahome. Yui then closed her eyes.
"Kaijin"
She then glowed as she used her last wish. She then disappeared in the intense blue light which then formed into the beast god Seiryuu.
