Chapter 7-Risks of a New Power! The Awakening!
Nobuki his confidence swelling inside of him. He stood red light radiating of him. He stood with the power of Four-Tails Chakra Mode. Kohaku stood his Chakra Mode activated as well.
"You trying to out shine me?" Nobuki asked.
"No, your transformation somehow triggered my Chakra Mode," Kohaku explained. Nobuki's eyebrows rose, but Kohaku continued to explain.
"Now that you got this power it's time to learn what price it comes with," Kohaku started. Nobuki nodded and Kohaku started again.
"You see with this power you take control of the Four-Tails chakra and kind of put your chakra in stasis. Basically you're not using or guarding your own chakra, so that leaves it open for the Four-Tails to devour. When you're using his power he eats your chakra. This restricts you from using this power. This kind of makes it important to befriend Son. All in all you can use it all you want and just worry about making friends," Kohaku explained. Nobuki nodded and sat trying to take all the information in.
"First, technique we're going to learn is controlling your strength. For me my transformation uses the chakra arms yours could be just the regular tails. So basically concentrate on trying to stretch without using your arms," Kohaku explained. Nobuki nodded and tried the technique. His sides emitted these arms that looked like the tails on the Four-Tails, but hands were at the end. Kohaku looked impressed and Nobuki clapped using his chakra arms and the force made him fall back on his rear end.
"Perfect example of controlling your strength. Since this place is limited to resources we're going to the Training Ground," Kohaku said deactivating his Chakra Mode. Nobuki clapped his regular hands together and he turned back. Nobuki felt awesome and Kohaku and Nobuki left the Hall of Light. They opened the door exiting the mirror.
Nobuki started to think about Son. He didn't understand why Son Goku was so stubborn. Nobuki tried to understand how Son felt, but normally under certain circumstances he didn't want to understand the big ape. He felt like he was just trying too hard to become friends. Son Goku just maybe couldn't be tamed and probably would hate humans for the rest of his life.
"Watch out you're going to run into that wall," Kohaku said. Nobuki shook out of his thinking and stopped as he was going to run straight into the wall next to the exit. Nobuki opened the door and walked out as they went to the Training Grounds. The day was still fresh as the sun was still hanging over them.
"Hey, Nobuki I wanted to ask you something," Kohaku spoke behind him stroking his hair back.
"What's up?" Nobuki asked.
"You know that one day we're going to be the next Kage's. You being the Raikage and me being the Hokage. I was wondering you know how would that work out. I mean two Jinchuuriki's as Kage's we're going to be powerful. Basically my point is how are we going to continue our friendship? To the point where we're like this," Kohaku said tongue tied. Nobuki stopped at the bottom step the sun illuminating his right side of his face. Nobuki looked solemn and for the first time in his life he wasn't sure about something.
"Where's all this coming from we'll always be friends. We still have five years ahead of us we'll think of something," Nobuki answered turning around smiling trying to supply some hope in Kohaku. Nobuki's smile was fake, but he tried his hardest to make it look real. Kohaku nodded and flashed his devilish smile and the two continued walking. They were quiet the whole way back trying not to open some type of rift between the two. The bustling of the two grew louder at their approach. With the Hokage Mountain glaring at them watching their every move Nobuki couldn't help to think that maybe he shouldn't be here. One day he was going to leave and break the relationships that he had formed and leave go back to the ones he already destroyed. If he went back to the Cloud he would have to reconnect them again. Nobuki shook his head again as he was too focused on the future and he needed to concentrate on his training.
Children's laughs filled with mirth and joy filled the air and Nobuki's attention was averted to a crowd of children and their entertainers Naroho and Serinue. They were putting on a show and Nobuki smiled now focused to his fullest extent. Nobuki smacked Kohaku on the back.
"Where's that limitless energy?" Nobuki asked smiling. Kohaku started to dash along with Nobuki. They arrived at the Training Grounds filled with birds chirping in fear and a few blasts. Nobuki cracked his knuckles and clapped his hands together activating his Four-Tails Chakra Mode. His body once again was covered with the lava like chakra covering his body.
"First lesson picking something up. Simple isn't it. Go ahead and try," Kohaku said smiling. Nobuki made his chakra arms appear. He reached over and tried to grab the tree to pick it up, but as soon as his hands around it the tree snapped in two. Nobuki looked shocked and tried again trying to barely pick it up. The tree came out steadily, but again the tree snapped in two. Nobuki groaned punched the ground with his own hands. Kohaku sighed and kept watching his friend struggle.
"This is impossible! If I tap the tree it breaks!" Nobuki said. Nobuki tried once more this time trying to snatch it out with his hand loose and the tree came out in one piece. Nobuki nodded and tried holding the tree with two hands and managed that. Nobuki smiled and swung the tree making a giant gust of wind. Nobuki set the tree down and looked at Kohaku.
"Well this is all that you need to know. Now we can get to the good part. We get to make Tailed Beast Rasengans!" Kohaku smiled. Nobuki nodded and watched as Kohaku started to hold out his hand like he was going to make a Rasengan. Instead red and blue orbs like the one's Son made when he made one of those Tailed Beast Balls. The orbs mixed together and they made a purple orb. Kohaku was so focused that he was sweating and then the buildup had stopped and Kohaku showed Nobuki his final product.
"This is a Tailed Beast Rasengan. To get this right there has to be a certain ratio between white negative chakra and black positive chakra. The blue is positive and the red negative. The ratio is 8:2 white chakra being 8 and black being 2. You have to get this perfect or it will explode in your hands. This might take some time, but I'm sure after a couple weeks of learning the Rasengan you'll get this easily too," Kohaku explained. Nobuki nodded, but still didn't know how to produce the black and white chakra. Nobuki tried making a Rasengan and saw that instead of his normal chakra the black and white chakra appeared instead. Nobuki remembered the ratio and tried with all his might to get his math correct. Basically if he wanted a big Tailed Beast Rasengan he would have to have about 32 white chakra and 8 black chakra. Nobuki nodded and first wanted to try it out.
"Okay 8 to 2. That's all it is," Nobuki said watching the chakra coming into his palm. Nobuki counted eight red orbs, but wasn't paying attention to the blue and the explosion came. He wasn't sent flying back into a tree that would have surely killed him if he wasn't in his Chakra Mode. Nobuki stood with surprisingly no pain in his back, but his hands were scathed. Nobuki dusted himself off and tried once more this time looking at each chakra element. The chakra started to form and soon he was holding an unstable Rasengan. Another explosion went off and this time Nobuki was sent up in the air. Nobuki made his chakra arms and used them to cushion his fall.
"Great progress. You almost had the ration right the last time. You made a 7:2 and cut it off a little too early. I'm sure after a little training you'll get the main gist. Now before you die let's end training now," Kohaku said. Nobuki nodded noting he was starting to become a little dizzy. Nobuki clapped his hands again and he was back to normal. His hands were now badly bruised. Nobuki tried to move his fingers and they were numb.
"I think my hands are broken," Nobuki said raising his two hands. Kohaku looked and transformed back to his regular form and they started to run to the hospital.
