"So what did you and Rubes do with your time while I was away?" Yang asked after a while of silence.

It was comfortable and it took a moment for Weiss to talk. The moment she got the call she made Blake watch Ruby and took her private airship here. In Vale it's three in the morning and Weiss was nearing twenty four hours with no sleep. So she fought sleep while laying with Yang in the bed using the blondes good shoulder as a pillow.

"I showed her around the building for the first day. The important parts: my office, yours, the cafeteria, the hub. We bumped into Penny and they became fast friends. After that we ate cookies and strawberry ice cream for dinner." Weiss chuckled.

"What? Icecream for dinner?!" Yang groand in disappointment. "Aren't you the older one?"

"I was joking, she had two cookies with strawberry milk. It was beef take out from the place one eighth. I can't cook as well as you and I didn't feel like hearing her complain." Weiss said snuggling closer to Yang. "I missed my bed warmer."

"Oh is that how you see me?" Yang asked squeezing Weiss.

"Yes." She hummed definitely.

"How about the day after that?" Yang asked.

"Meetings all day, she was at daycare. When I picked her up she was making sun be her throne and Neptune was one for the twins, they were having a nice tea party." Weiss yawned. "I'll have R&D work on a new arm for you."

"Thanks." Yang kissed the top of Weiss' head. "I love you."

"I love you too." Weiss said by reflex.

Yang lays there awake as Weiss drifts to sleep. She thinks about how long she's actually been in this relationship she thinks that it's been about two years. She was living with Weiss, she was the last person she saw at night and the first she saw in the morning. Their lives had become so entangled that Yang couldn't imaging Weiss not being their. When that thought crossed her mind she felt hurt.

"I'm never letting go." Yang whispered.

The next day Yang and Weiss went home to Vale with the others having orders to rest up until fully healed. When they landed Ruby came at Yang faster than she could see and leaving behind a trail of petals. The result was Ruby tackling into Yang causing her wheelchair to be pushed back.

"Hey Rubes." Yang said surprised. "When did you get your aura unlocked?"

"This morning, gramps said it would be a good surprise for you. Like what you did with grandpa, oh grandpa agreed that it was a good idea too." Ruby smiled brightly.

"Oh did they?" Yang said smiling.

She then glared daggers at Tiayang and Qrow who waved back smiling.

Tiayang mouthed, "what goes around comes around."

"Supper speed seems really cool, but you can't use it all the time. Never use it any where but at gramps and grandpa's house." Yang gave her one rule with her semblance.

"Okay." Ruby nodded then hopped down. "I wanna push you."

Ruby then did just that and started pushing Yang towards the car. Yang was stuck in the back seat with Ruby, taking up two seats. Along the way from the airport to the condo they played idle travel games.

When they turned onto their street Weiss clicked her tongue drawing Yang's attention forward.

"Damn it, this again?" Yang sighed at the group of reporters. "How did they even know?"

"We're both public figures Yang, even without our relationship known you were gaining a lot of renown running Schnee Security Solutions. You also wanted the training to be high profile." Weiss tapped her finger on the steering wheel.

"On sec." Yang said pulling out her scroll.

She called the office and got a team to the front of their condo. In ten minutes the reporters were cleared out and they went in with no issues.

"Good Idea." Weiss chuckled. "Don't want the world knowing what you look like before an official press release can be made."

"My leg should be healed in two days if I sleep for most of it. My stomach is already good." Yang said.

Weiss chuckled again at the scene. Ruby was pushing Yang in circles in the livingroom.

"R&D started working on your arm the moment I called them this morning. They said they should have a working prototype ready in three days. Would take longer if you didn't have full medical and biometric information of all security personnel put on file." Weiss said.

"A robot arm!?" Ruby squealed. "Will it shoot lasers? Can it turn into a sword, or a scythe? Will it look like a giant claw? How many fingers will it have: two, three, eight, twenty?"

"Just a normal arm." Weiss shook her head befor Ruby went any further. "Now, lunch?"

"Pad thai, super spicy." Yang suggested.

"Ew," Ruby stuck her tongue out. "Stir fry's better."

"Pizza it is then." Weiss said. "Small cheese for Ruby. Half hamburger, half spicy sausage for me and Yang."

Ruby and Yang booed Weiss playfully while she ordered lunch. After lunch they spent the day lazily watching tv and movies until Weiss was called into the office. All the while Yang was thinking and decided, she was just missing the prop. So she took out her scroll and started window shopping for one. then a soft crackle and a soft flash of red light took her attention to the coffee table. On it was a black ring and a note.

"I know I've never really been there for you, it was to protect you. But even still I've watched you and gave a subtle nudge when need be. Thank you for stopping your search for me. This might not be what would suit her best but you can at least use it as a stand in until you find the perfect one. I'm sorry - Raven Branwen"

Yang bit the inside of her cheek at the conflicting emotions. Her mother was so close. But she took a deep breath as she looked at a napping Ruby, she made her choice and Yang made hers.

She then looked at the ring. She couldn't tell what metal it was made of but it was black with feather details and a series of small rainbow colored Dust gems. It also looked like the size was adjustable from a section of the ring having a telescoping portion.

Yang folded the note and put it to the side and waited. Weiss walked in nearly an hour later.

"I'm sorry Yang." Weiss sighed as she entered.

"Doesn't matter come here." Yang smiled and reached out her hand.

Smiling Weiss took it and was immediately pulled onto Yang's lap.

Then Yang circled her arm around Weiss' hip and pulled her close.

"You know, I've been thinking," Yang said.

"Oh no, last time you did that you lost an arm." Weiss teased.

"Hey!" Yang sounded offended. "Anyway I really have, about you and us. Let me see your hand."

Raising a brow Weiss offered her right hand to Yang.

"Your other hand." Yang smiled.

Now raising both brows she offered her left hand to Yang and her heart rate doubled. A red tinge also came to her ears and the back of her neck.

"Now hold still I was planing on doing this part with two hands." Yang said.

She then brought out her mother's ring and slipped it onto Weiss ring finger. It was a little big but when Yang squeezed on it it shrank to a perfect fit.

"Well?" Yang asked.

"You idiot," every inch of Weiss was now covered by a pink blush. "What took you so long?"

"Hey, you could have asked." Yang smiled and squeezed Weiss. "Is that a yes?"

"Of course it's a yes." Weiss' voice hitched.

The older woman then fell into a hug and buried her face in the curve of Yang's neck.

AN- I'm running on fumes so I think I'll end it with the honeymoon, sorry (I sound like Pyrrha)
