Author's Note- Ugh... I am so tired so I'm posting this chapter right now and then going to bed for the night. Thank god it's Friday tomorrow and then it's Saturday and the weekend and SLEEP. Chapter 38

The Looking Glass

I sat on a chair on the balcony, watching Cilan and Ash begin their practice battle, with Ash's Oshawott battling with Cilan's Pansage. Cynthia's butler tried to talk to me about why I was away longer then I said I would be. Guess what, I was away for more than a week, almost two, when I said I would be only for a few days. I must have been knocked out for most of it from what I could of guess. I did not talk about this at all at to anyone at the villa because I didn't want to remember what happened. But it was still on my mind- the questions rounded and rounded inside my brain like a marry-go-round that never stopped once.

Why would N do that? What did he know? Did he really have the answers to my past I never knew about? Was... was he the voice I always heard inside my mind when I visited that dark place?

So many questions I had but no one to tell them too. The only who I knew who knew all of this would be Lucario and Mama, though Mama said that I would figure it out in time. Lucario tried his best to find an answer but nothing came up... Nothing that he didn't tell me, I knew he withheld information from when I was younger but he has yet to talk to me about it. I think it was because I wouldn't understand a few years back when I was younger but I have now. I guess I would find out the next time I saw the Aura Pokémon.

I looked back at the battle going on, coming out of my own thoughts. Ash just ordered Oshawott to use Razor Shell, blocking Pansage's Bullet Seed. But then Meloetta twirls and dances around the two Pokémon, changing forms. She now had auburn hair that seems to be stylized in a high bun and red eyes. It was her Pirouette Forme, as Cynthia told all of us from beforehand when Ash and they went to the Onix Island.

Though it seemed that it was the same one when I when into Meloetta's mind. I watched as she went from wanting to battle Oshawott, who refused as he was in love with the said Pokémon, to battling against Krookodile. Meloetta uses Hyper Voice, releasing multiple transparent rings from its mouth but Krookodile manages to hold on. Ash orders him to use Stone Edge, but Meloetta manages to take all stones with its fighting techniques.

Ash then orders Krookodile to use Dragon Claw, the claws on one of Krookodile's hands glow light blue and was about to hit Meloetta, a Flash Cannon comes out of nowhere, which is revealed to come from a Golurk.

"Eepp," Meloetta squeaked as she raced to hide behind me as the Golurk flies down and lands and a mysterious man appears to its side. He had Gold eyes and Blue hair with goggles on his forehead. He wore a white shirt outlined in red; the same were with his pants and with brown gloves on his hands and Meloetta smiles, flying over to him who he opens his arms and asking if she was alright.

I jumped to the ground from where I was on the balcony as Meloetta flew around me in happiness.

"Ridley's here, Ridley's here," she repeated as she danced around but then the man who must be this Ridley, falsely thinks Ash and his group are villains for attacking Meloetta and tells the Golurk to attack them.

"No!" Meloetta yells as she steps in between the Golurk and the others and the man blinks in surprise. It was then the old man, Jervis, came out and invited us all back in to talk things out. Everyone agreed with the idea and walked back inside.

But then I turned around and saw something move in the trees just a few meters away from the villa. My eyes narrowed as the thing moved once more in the trees. The air became somewhat windy as steam rose up from the thing- I think it was a camera from the looks of it- and not a second later it blew up in a small explosion.

"Luna, are you coming?" Snivy asks when he pokes his head out between the small poles that was holding the rail up on the balcony

"Coming," I said as I crouched down and jumped onto the balcony and went into the living room where the others were. And as always, Snivy were in my hands.

"Luna! Luna!" Meloetta chimed as she flew around me and pulled me to sit close by to Ridley. Then the man explains that he is one of Meloetta's protectors and that they lived a peaceful life in their village, and that he and Golurk have been looking for the Mythical Pokémon for quite some time after she was taken away by some unknown villains. Then suddenly Meloetta calls out to us, showing us a flying camera that flies away causing everyone to run outside when we were surrounded by a dark fog. But when Ridley and Meloetta try to escape, for some reason, Meloetta was pulling me along with her so I was dragged along as well as Snivy who was still in my arms, but we were stopped by two Pokémon.

The one on the left was a turtle-like bipedal Pokémon with plated, brown rocks as its shell. It had a head protruding out of the center of the shell, short arms that have three claws, and two legs with five-clawed feet that have four claws in front and one in back. It has red eyes and a flat snout with two pointed teeth in its lower jaw. It was a Golem.

A second Pokémon appeared that was a large, gray, bipedal Pokémon. It has a cream-colored, drill-like horn on its snout as there were other the head as well, including a spike curving forward from the middle of its head, two triangular, point resembling ears to the sides of the spike, a wide, wavy crest under the ears, and spiky ridges on its cheeks. It has red eyes and two fangs protruding from its upper jaw. It has a cream-colored stomach and a row of spikes down its back with a long tail. The other was a Rhydon

The Rhydon uses Megahorn, its horn glowing white and extending but Ridley shields it by ordering his Golurk to use Heavy Slam. Golurk's body became surrounded by a yellow aura for a second then became outlined in yellow and tackles both Pokémon with great force. Golem then uses Rock Blast, with three rocks above Golem's head glow bright orange and its forehead glowed silver, then it fires multiple silver rocks from its forehead at Golurk, one after the other. The said Pokémon was able to bob and weave around them.

Ridley orders all of us to escape while he battles them. After that, Ridley has Golurk to use Heavy Slam again to take out Rhydon and to create an opening for us to go through. But then Golem uses Steamroller to attack as we got away. Meloetta was in one arm while Snivy was in the other, Ridley told me to take her with me. We continued to run away but then were confronted by Jessie, James and Meowth. The others stayed behind to battle them as Ash, Pikachu, and I along with Meloetta and Snivy both in my arms.

Pikachu suddenly stops, as a large, quadruped, feline Pokémon. Its fur is pale tan with the exception of its black-rimmed ears. It has a short muzzle with a small, black nose, red eyes with slit pupils, rounded ears, and three whiskers on either side of its face. In the center of its forehead is a red jewel. Its long tail has a distinctive curl at the end. It has long legs and three-toed paws with retractable claws.

"A Persian?" I mumbled, taking out my pokedex as Snivy jumped to the ground in front of me. Persian, the Classy Cat Pokémon and the evolved form of Meowth. Persian can walk silently thanks to its nimble muscles. It pounces on its prey at lightning speed.

"I see... but why is it here?"

"That would be because of me," a man in a black suit said as he appeared on a hover machine. That was when Meloetta turned invisible but the man called out, "Why don't you make it easier and surround yourself Meloetta?"

"Don't appear Meloetta," I called out.

The man then orders Persian to use Shadow Claw, but Ash orders Pikachu to use Iron Tail to take him down. I felt a part of my jacket tighten when the man called out to her once more, saying to come out from behind me with his infrared glasses, who appeared in shock behind me. Then a pale pink beam of energy with a bright white energy around it takes Ash and Pikachu down. I was about to move to help them when a beam was shot down before me and made a synthetic cube about me and Snivy. I looked up and saw a helicopter.

Ash was down for the count, only just getting up when Meloetta agreed to go whit him when he threatened to crush me.

"Don't do it Meloetta!" I yelled out, banging my fist against the synthetic wall.

"I'm sorry Luna," Meloetta whispers as she flew to the man.

"Meloetta!"

The said Pokémon was then also trapped in a synthetic cube and we were taken onto Team Rocket's helicopter, and then transferred into a submarine that descends to somewhere.

"It's alright Meloetta; I'll find a way to get us out of here! I swear it," I said to the Pokémon.

"Luna," Meloetta said with hope appearing in her eyes and nodded with a smile. "Thank you, Luna."

"You better be thankful, Meloetta!" Snivy said, his fist up in the air directed at her. I laughed but then stopped when the roof of the room we were in opened and revealed a huge room of ruins. Meloetta seemed shocked by this, fright was in her voice.

"This place," I whispered. It was the same ruins from the dreams and what was there when I went inside Meloetta's mind. I watched helplessly as Meloetta was restrained inside the temple. The Pokémon struggled with all her might but couldn't get free. Then, the doctor person, I forgot his names, begins to play a recording of Meloetta's haunting song, which unlocks an ancient seal, transforming the temple and raising it to the surface of the bay. As soon as the path is clear, the man who I now knew as Giovanni from the doctor person made his way to the innermost part of the temple and came back with a mirror that he claimed was the Reveal Glass—a mystical mirror with unknown powers...

I was trapped, watching everything happening and I couldn't do a thing. What was I going to now?

The Abyssal Ruins, an ancient tomb that is said to be the resting place of an ancient king. But more so it was a sunken temple ruin, where Meloetta once lived with humans and where the Reveal Glass was stored. A mysterious mirror that reflects the truth and changes Pokémon to their true forms. It was just like when I read that book on three legendary Pokémon... if they were able control the three legendary Pokémon then they would be able to control the natures.

"No!" I shouted as Giovanni went the top of the stairs and opens up the top of the temple. He then orders the glass to summon Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus.

Meloetta tried to resist but couldn't anymore as she was force to sing once more! "Gah!" I yelled. My hands wrapped around my hurting head and looked up at the trapped Pokémon. I... I was feeling her suffering! But why?

The Reveal Glass hovers up into the air and then shoots a beam of light into the sky before disappearing into a portal that soon grows into dark foreboding clouds and three more holes open as Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus went through clouds making the weather turns bad as the legendary Pokémon appear, creating swells and high winds.

"Landorus," I muttered and stared up at the orange- colored Pokémon. I bang on the wall once more, "You can't do this! If you do there it'll only bring destruction!" But no one listened to my plea but then I looked down at Snivy, "Snivy I need you to use Vine Whip on a single point!"

I needed to escape soon and now was the best time I could think of! That was then I heard something Giovanni said and wanting to use the Reveal Glass to expose the legendary Pokémon's other forms. My eye widen, he couldn't mean their true forms? Then maybe it could help me out... maybe it could reflect my true form...

Electricity sparked from the spot Snivy hit over and over again that spread around the whole containment box and then we were free- with some more pain from falling on our butts. (Not something I wanted at the time.)

"Now Snivy!" I said, I jumped onto the stairs when and where almost at the top when Jessie and James called out their Woobat and Yamask to use Air Slash and Shadow Ball that the impact sent us flying back. Snivy vine wrapped around my waist and sent to me the ground of the temple as he flew off! No!

"Snivy!" I cried out, trying to catch his vine but it slipped right through my finger tips and fell. "NO!"

I couldn't think straight, shaking as I stared wide eye at the ground before standing up slowly and turning around when another attack was sent my way. I could barely hear it as a green barrier appears around my body, protecting me from the attacks.

"Not him, not Snivy," I muttered, taking a step forward. "Why did it have to my friend? Why did it have to be Snivy!?"

A small rumble came through my mouth as I felt the air around me grow heavy, the two Team Rocket's Pokémon, Woobat and Yamask, backed away from me in frights. I felt my breath let out heavily as I took another step forward; hearing voices around me.

"Stop her now!"

Why stop me?

"What's happening to her?"

I am I supposed to know what's happening to me? It's doesn't matter right now...

"The Pokémon, they aren't listening. They're too scared!"

They should be, they were the ones who took Snivy away!

"What are we going to do?!"

You should run but I won't let you not until...

"Luna, don't do it!"

You won't...

"Wait, Luna!"

I won't stop, not now...

"Luna!"

Huh? Wait... that couldn't be...

"Look Luna, Snivy it fine..."

Snivy? He's alright?

"Luna, I'm alright. You need to stop..."

But I can't now... for some reason, I can't anymore...

Luna...

Meloetta?

Yes Luna... Luna, you need to calm down, the others are fighting Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus and need your help...

But...

Snivy is alright but now he's worried about you...

What about you and Team Rocket?

I'll be fine, for now at least and Team Rocket... You still need to beat them... Luna please

Listen to me Luna, listen to my song...

I heard a song calm me down, as I felt my surroundings come into my senses but was knocked back as an attack was sent my way but was missed by Snivy.

"Sn-snivy," I whispered; looked down who smiled up at me. "Snivy!" I hugged hug but was interrupted when a bright red light threw off Iris's Dragonite, Cilan's Pansage, Cynthia's Garchomp, Ridley's Golurk, and Ash's Unfezant with his Pikachu.

"Luna," Snivy questioned. He wanted to know what was going to happen next. As the red glow recedes, Giovanni had a red aura around him and the three Pokémon transformed in Therian Forme.

In Therian Forme, Landorus had an orange, lean, feline-like quadruped Pokémon. The horns on his head are now thinner and arranged closer together in a downwards arch. While his hair remains the same; his mustache now takes on a more fanged maw-like appearance, curving around his head to behind his ears, which have now become smaller and rounder. His eyes remained yellow and have four trailing cloud covered paws, each with three sharp dark pink claws. His tail remains largely unchanged, although it may be slightly smaller and shorter than before.

In Therian Forme, Thundurus was large, blue, sleek, bipedal dragon-like Pokémon. The horns on his head were now thicker and extend out more, while his ears become pointier and pinned back. Thundurus' hair remains the same; the mustache now takes on a more raised snout and fanged-maw-like appearance, with two curving wisps flowing back and past his ears. His eyes remained yellow and have thin two paw-like hands, each covered in a trailing cloud-like fluff and with three claw-tipped fingers. Thundurus' purple lower half is much smaller than his upper body, and consist of two hind-legs and his tail.

In Therian Forme, Tornadus is a large, green, bipedal, long-necked, bird-like Pokémon. He now lacks any visible ears, and the horns on his forehead have become thinner and crest-like. Tornadus' hair is also now crest-like, and the direction of his hair whirl is reversed. His eyes remained yellow and instead of arms he head large spanning, feathered wings; each possessing purple tipped primary feathers. He has two strong legs and sharp talons, each with three sharp purple claws and one dewclaw. Tornadus' tail remains largely unchanged, although it appears slightly longer and less curved than before. On his lower back, he has a large trailing cloud-like puff.

Then all the Pokémon began to battle once more, though were clearly outmatched.

Landorus formed white circles of energy which quickly become sharp gray stones, then fires them at the Dragon Pokémon. It was combined with Tornadus Air Cutter. The Dragon Pokémon was able to dodge Air Cutter but was knocked to the ground in front of the trainers, hurt badly. Thundurus then faces Dragonite and unleashes a powerful electric attack, but Iris steps in front of the attack to protect her Pokémon. Before the attack hits, Pikachu jumps in front of it and absorbs the electricity while Unfezant drives off Thundurus with Air Cutter.

Once more, Dragonite rushes off to battle with the others, although they were clearly at a disadvantage to the powerful trio.

"Luna," Ash calls out as he ran next to me with Pikachu.

"I'm fine Ash," I said, standing up. "But right now we need to get to Meloetta."

"Right!"

We finally reach the top of the temple.

"We will not let you pass," James said as he stood next to the rest of Team Rocket. They were next to their boss, who was in front of the Reveal Glass.

"Unova will be ours and there is nothing you can do about it," Jessie started right after, confident that they would win no matter what.

"I won't let you," I said back, glaring at the men. They were hurting Meloetta and they almost made me lost Snivy. Oh, they knew how to piss of a girl and they did it to the wrong person.

"You really think you are going to win?!" Giovanni smirks. I growled as Ash demanded that Meloetta be returned but Team Rocket refused.

"Ash I need you to use Pikachu's Electro Ball," I said as I ran to the other side of the tip of the temple.

"Right," he said, "Pikachu use Electro Ball!" Unlike Pikachu's normal Electro Balls though, this one has been enhanced with the electricity Pikachu absorbed from Thundurus's attack and enlarged. When it is released, it obliterates the top of the temple and frees Meloetta. I jumped, opening my arms as Meloetta lands in them. As the smoke clears, the temple was in rubble and Team Rocket was stunned.

I landed on the ground next to Snivy and walked back to where Ash was with his Pikachu. I looked down at the Pokémon in my arms, "It's alright Meloetta, and you're safe now."

"Luna you came for me. Thank you," she said as she hugged me. Ash opened his arms and hugged her as well. Seeing that Meloetta has escaped, Team Rocket suggests they recapture it, but Giovanni says Meloetta is no longer necessary. As he gets up, he is shown to have a red circular symbol on his forehead and his eyes are glowing red. In addition, he has complete control over the legendary trio and has become drunk with power. Giovanni orders the trio to destroy Unova but then Jessie, James, and Meowth tackle Giovanni outside the boundary and retreat under the cover of Yamask's Haze. Yamask took a deep breath and released a thick black smoke from its mouth onto the battlefield but it was blown away by Ash's Unfezant uses Gust to blow away the smoke, revealing Team Rocket escaping in a jet.

Meanwhile, the trainers' Pokémon are still battling the legendary trio.

'Meloetta, will you help me?' my voice echoed in her mind. Meloetta turned to me and nodded as she responded back.

'Yes Luna I will.'

I ran into the circle, not stopping when hearing the others and took the Reveal Glass from the ground onto the pedestal then turned to face the floating Pokémon. "We have to calm down Landorus and the others."

"Right," Meloetta says as she floated upwards above the Reveal Glass as I looked into it. This was my only chance... But... No, I needed to what was more important! Even if I was tempted to use the Reveal Glass for myself...

"Please Reveal Glass grant my wish, please calm down what threatens to cause harm to Unova," I wished as it began to glow. The glow brightened and beams of colorful light surrounded the singing Meloetta. Upon hearing the singing, the trio flies around her as they revert back to their original form.

Back on the boat, we headed back to land. In the distance, the temple was sinking back into the sea as Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus go back up into the clouds.

"Luna what's the matter?" Ridley asked me. On his lap was Meloetta while Snivy was on mine.

I look at the man and shake my head, "It's nothing Ridley... just thinking." I really wonder if I did was the right thing. Because I had an odd feeling that this was something was not right with the mirror. After Meloetta was done singing and the light from the mirror disappeared, I asked if the mirror could reveal my true form but nothing happened... Nothing at all...

Back on shore, the group says farewell to Ridley and Meloetta as they could now live peacefully from all our help. We waved back as Ridley and Meloetta flew off on Golurk back to their home village. Everyone made it back to the villa as I stayed behind on the beach.

"I really do wonder what would of happened if the Reveal Glass showed me who I really was," I said. The wind blew at a nice pace, my hair bellowing with it. I sighed, hearing my name being called by Snivy to come on to the villa where everyone else already was.

"Coming," I shouted back to him but stared back at the sunset on the steps that lead to the villa and turned around as I head up, hearing a melody of Meloetta's song. I smiled, "Ah..." and went back inside to the villa with Snivy right beside me.
